Tepic

"This Mexican restaurant steers clear of the more typical and colourful ambience of Mariachi bands and traditional guitars, opting instead for an informal, contemporary space featuring a decor of wood furnishings and a white-inspired colour scheme. It offers reasonably elaborate and authentic cuisine that includes a delicious choice of tacos (such as the exquisite “enmoladas”), as well as “panuchos yucatecos”, “tiraditos” and a choice of soups. Make sure you also sample its beers, elaborately prepared cocktails (including some mocktails), ever-popular micheladas and its superb cinnamon-flavoured “café de olla”." - Michelin Inspector

Had a fantastic experience at this Mexican restaurant! The atmosphere was vibrant and beautifully decorated, the space feel authentic and inviting. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment we walked in. We ordered a starter and tacos (the kids ate it faster than I could photograph) and were impressed—not only were they delicious, but the portions were generous and presented with care. Highly recommended!

Google
Overpriced and underwhelming.. no idea how this earned a Michelin Bib Gourmand mention. The food was forgettable, the service just okay, and for what they charge, you’d expect way more. We felt we wasted one of our limited vacation dinners at Tepic considering madrid is packed with better, more exciting options at this price point. The Bib Gourmand feels like a stretch. Won’t be back.

Google
Excellent Mexican food. The mole was delicious and one of the better moles we’ve had anywhere. The tacos were delicious with generous portions. If you’re looking for Mexican food in Madrid this is a great spot!

Google
Great place for authentic Mexican tacos! Many options to choose from, great service and nice decoration. They have two floors and the restroom is downstairs, not wheelchair accessible. Overpriced but tasty (30 euros for 3 tacos).

The food here is fantastic, especially their tacos, which really have an authentic flavor. The service is great too

Great Mexican Tacos for a chill night out. Especially the Margaritas. Just the right mix of everything for a wonderful night in Madrid

The food is SO bad. Should my first clue have been that the menu said “tacos de pastor” rather than “al pastor”? Anyway, the reheated chicken in the tacos was impossibly dry to the point of being inedible. It lacked any of the delicious flavor I was expecting. My dining partner’s mole was also reheated, and was just barely edible. Some other review said it was the best mole they’d ever had, so we were excited. But wow, it was also really horrible. The guacamole was OK, but it needed lime and salt. I could have made it better at home. We feel like we got tricked by the Michelin guide and Google reviews. It absolutely was NOT a bib gourmand restaurant. I do not recommend, at all, in any way.

Yelp
Very good Michelin rated Mexican restaurant in Salamanca area of Madrid. Great guacamole, tacos, service and presentation.

Yelp
Not bad, good experience. The server was shocked to see us, although we had a res. for 10:30 p.m., I guess she just wanted to go home. Food was decent (they actually use corn tortillas and not white flour which is one of my pet peeves) but the Al pastor had pineapple in it :/ that threw me off a bit otherwise good food.

Yelp
We were on the hunt for some restaurant, any restaurant besides the Le Pain Quotidien nearby. And then we happened upon this little gem on a side street with a small storefront. Upon walking in, it was VERY nice, upscale and they took our crew, wearing jeans and t-shirts, along with a messy toddler. We thought, Mexican food in Spain? C'mon. Could it be that good? Um, yes. It was that good. Service was a tiny bit slow, BUT we were the first ones in there for the day. Drinks - excellent - very trendy - mixologist type of vibe for making them. The tacos? There were like 5 per order - frankly, I was expecting only three so that was a nice surprise. I had the queso tacos where the shells were made out of cheese, with beef, and THEY WERE SO FRIGGIN good. The crunch and saltiness were a perfect pair for my Paloma alcoholic beverage. My family enjoyed their meals too. Oh man, and I didn't mention the soups - we all enjoyed ours. Mine was the pozole which wasn't as good as my friend's homemade pozole, but it still was great and came with all the right fixins' for me to add.

Yelp
The food was AMAZING. We ordered the chicken enchiladas with red sauce and chicken flautas. They had a lot of mezcal to choose from, which is my husbands favorite. I got a classic margarita. It was so good and didn't have the horrible sour mix. It was a real margarita and it was delicious. The food was amazing and perfect portions. It's not like in the states when they over flow your plate with rice and beans either. Each dish was topped beautifully with. Sour cream, onions, pick, avocado and much more. When we sat down they gave us two sauces and a small bite for each of us it was a tortilla chip topped with some sort of seafood mix. It was delicious and tasted so fresh. There was seating upstairs and downstairs. They put us downstairs and it was wide open and had a great feel. It was very clean and had a golden glow. The bathrooms are downstairs under the steps and those were clean as well. We also learned as we were walking out that it is a 2019 Michelin Star. It was amazing and I suggest you go there! I didn't see any outdoor seating but it's okay. Hang out inside with the great staff and great food.

Yelp
Very good, I would definitely return. However, I will say that the tacos de solomillo, while very tasty, were plain and uninspired in terms of their ingredients - meat, tortilla, onions and cilantro - not much else. And I think they may have added some things because when I asked how they were prepared, it didn't seem like they come with much, so I said I liked them 'with everything'. The sauces were without much flavor so we ordered some hot sauce, and later saw on our bill that they charged us an extra €2 for a tiny little thing. My wife ordered cheese tacos with mushrooms. If you like queso fundido, you would love this dish as that's basically what it is. They were very good, but the same story in terms of ingredients.

Yelp
Came for a quick lunch, and tried chicken and beef alambres. Was really good. Cheerful and quick service too.

Yelp
Excellent food. - mole spicy, nice interpretation of carne tacos, solid margaritas, nice atmosphere. And great service.
