Restaurante Terra

Great Michelin restaurant in Fisterra, Spain. Food and service were excellent. We had food with the pairing wine. Lamb with wild mushrooms were something out the world. Restaurant is not big so reservation is required. Highly recommend.

The dinner we had at Terra was worth the trip from Porto. The service was very attentive and professional. While the food was quite good, what made our dinner special was the wine pairings. They complemented the dishes perfectly and we loved the fact that they were all (with the exception of one really good wine from Alentejo in Portugal) from small producers in Galicia. The dessert wine was a micro-production of only 50 bottles and it did not even have a label on it. This is exactly what we expect from wine pairings, which is unfortunately a rare find. I'd go back in a heartbeat if I am in the area, and might make a 2nd trip just to visit the restaurant again. Amazing value!

Small restaurant, that uses local ingredients and wine. Menu contains sourdough bread, fish, seafood, meat and desserts. I tried menu course with wine pairing. I’m happy that I visited this place at the end of my Camino. It was interesting diner. The best for me were tofu ice cream with sunflower seeds.

A most memorable meal. Really really beautiful. Loved every course and wine pairing. Even the coffee was second-to-none. Friendly and knowledgeable staff and a really well presented room. Would recommend a detour if anywhere in North West Spain.

From the moment we arrived the service was impeccable. Don't expect a menu as everything is cooked fresh daily depending on the ingredients available to the kitchen. Every dish was executed perfectly with some unique combinations and deservedly michelin star quality. 1 star isn't enough.

One of the best restaurants in Galicia, better than paradores and other traditional options. We looked for very good local products with a modern twist. Visiting cape Finisterre is worth even if it is only to eat at Terra. 9 course menu for 70 eur + drinks. The staff is impeccable. They speak top English so they were able to explain everything perfectly. We loved the texture of all fish and specially the mussels with kimchi, they grow everything with local Galician products, included the kimchi with local cabbage. Also the home made seeds ice cream with Japanese Koji sauce. They adapted everything gluten-free and for non-meat, pescetarian diet. Try the gluten-free corn bread, it is home baked, best gluten free bread I had in my life. One of the best modern Galician cuisine restaurants. A must to visit if you are in Galicia and specially in Coruña or Finisterre. Make a reservation as theyare often fully booked. Sit at the counter, it is a great chance to get explanations first hand from the cooking staff who are most polite, friendly and knowledgeable.

Beautiful food. Wonderful staff. Added the wine pairing and cheeses - well worth both. We will be back on our next visit to Fisterra.
