This fusion Japanese restaurant specializes in charcoal-grilled dishes and features an interior inspired by traditional Japanese taverns, with a warm, wood-toned aesthetic. The staff are exceptionally friendly and can describe the menu in both English and Spanish, which makes the experience very accessible.
I tried the large OMAKASE menu, which included 10 courses and a dessert, and with a drink the total came to around 79 EUR. A reasonable price for a tasting menu. My favorite dishes were the Karrage with ginger dipping sauce, the grilled beef tongue, the Japanese Wagyu beef skewers, and the Atún TEMAKI, whose specially toasted nori was perfectly crisp rather than soggy. However, the rest of the dishes leaned toward the salty side, and the Shitake mushrooms in particular were genuinely too salty.
If you appreciate authentic Japanese charcoal-grilled cuisine, this restaurant is worth trying, but after this visit I would probably choose to order à la carte next time. It seems more economy, as the omakase lacked truly distinctive highlights, and the rice in the final curry dish was overly soft and mushy instead of having the satisfying texture usually expected in Japanese restaurants.
