One of the very few Vietnamese restaurants in the country. In fact, it is the very first of its kind since 2014. Happy to say that this place had my usual favorite items such as beef pho soup, spring rolls with fish sauce, summer rolls with peanut sauce, and coffee with condensed milk. All the items I tried tasted good. The beef pho soup was served with a side of culantro and bean sprouts.
The dining area is air conditioned and clean. Features both indoor and outdoor seating. Parking lot is tiny, only fits a few cars so you will have to find street parking. Service is decent.
I feel obligated to say that I have experienced many amazing authentic Vietnamese restaurants in New York City. This place does not compare. But no need to worry because the taste is good enough. This restaurant will suffice as a good enough Vietnamese restaurant. It has the most reviews of all such restaurants in the city. And the rating is very high, so many people are satisfied. But if you are someone who is a devout fan of these restaurants, do not come here with high hopes. Just letting you know. Vietnamese restaurants have been in this country for less than a decade. For sure they will improve over time. I will return in the very near future to try the beef pho with sauteed meat.
