Great atmosphere. A very chill place to have a drink and get your singing on, Also for those who love to dance. Staff members are very professional and the food is delicious.

Super delicious pupusas with extra cheese. The staff was super friendly and attentive.

This is the 3rd time I dined in. it was as bad as the previous two. Wrong order, late, incomplete, salty, dry. When I complained, the waitress told me to take the food home and fix it with some chicken broth. Certainly, that was my dream...wait 2 hours for my food and then take it home to fix it cause it is so bad I can't eat it in the restaurant.

It's always been a pleasure to come eat here. Always a great environment, nice music, amazing on weekends 🙌🏼 but BEST of all, it's the FOOD 😋 literally the only place that I get pupusas from!!! You will not be disappointed at all to give it a try!!!

****WARNING, BAD SERVICE**** Walked into this place to order for take out. Restaurant wasn’t busy about 3 tables with customers dining in. Waited with my brother in law for a good 20-30mins before checking in with the woman at the register. She kept insisting food was almost done, so we waited another 10mins. Decided to walk up and ask again only to see her point to our order receipt at the cooks. Turned out they haven’t even started making the order, couldn’t get a refund. Took nearly an hour to get our order, no sense of Urgency. Terrible service DO NOT waste your time.

Have been a constant customer. However it is always the same issue. I call to place the order to go. I’m told 20-25 minutes. 20-25 minutes later, you get there and their kitchen hasn’t even started working on your order. Unprofessional customer service.

Ordered for pick up, 1 bean and cheese and 1 cheese and spinach pupusa. When I got there, I was really impressed how esthetic they decorated this place. Did a pick up like 8 years ago, not sure if it's the same owner, place looks cute now! The shopping center isn't the nicest, a bit desolate I would say and inside completely different story, clean and welcoming, TV screens for their menu constantly showing different dishes. They even have alcoholic beverages. I definitely want to come back and eat in. Pupusas were piping hot, good size for $4 each and were good. I've been alil under so I'm not sure if my palette was off, the cheese was cheesing but I just didn't get that super tasty cheese pupusa, it was certainly filling though. And when I checked out I added a piece quesadilla and a kolachampan, iykyk. Will be back for a Salvi breakfast for sure!

Let's get down to business. (Which this place lacks) If i had a sock stuffed between my legs, I'd get better service. I asked how long my food was going to be and she said 12 Minutes and said it was, "for here and a large drink of ensalada." Without my consent: my 12 minutes turned into 30 minutes. My "for here" was packed TO GO. And my drink? I had to ask for it two times before I had to get up and interrupt her chit chat with the boys at the bar and point at the drink asking if it was mine. OHHH NOW I REMEMBER WHY I DONT COME HERE!! If you come here call in for the pupusas because they're actually good and pick them up 30 minutes later.

Hola el tamal de pollo se mira y save que esta echo de dias estaba viejo orible, ultima vez que vendre a este lugar cuando era mi tiempo de retirarme pedi mi cuenta me pare fui ala caja a pajar la mesera se fue para afuera espero para q regresara la cocinera me miro sonrio y empeso a buscar ala mesera mesera regreso y me cobro mesera benia de su automovil .

Very bad service and I don't like the fact they charge the tip in advance the service it's no friendly I feel it's because am Mexican the forget about my salsa

This restaurant is located in the city of compton, California good service and the food is prepared as soon the customer placed the order and the pupusas super delicious i recomend it you will loved this restaurant and Paula the waitress tooked my order

The only reason I still eat at this restaurant... aside from my two favorite dinners. El cocido and las costillas en salsa verde...and of course the pastelitos (empanada style) de pollo. Oh and their pupusas, especially the pupusa loca. Anyway I love dealing with such a wonderful lady by the name of Jenny! She is one of the waitresses and has an amazing personality! Always smiling and in a great mood. This past Wednesday during la semana santa, I had the pleasure of eating there with my friend/Neighbor Juanita. The restaurant got very busy and full! Jenny was the only waitress serving us all and was so cheerful. She likes it when I tell her in Spanish... Se Lleno el changarro! Meaning... the joint is packed! She is so valuable to this little Salvadoran restaurant. I truly hope her night went well! And I hope to enjoy seeing her for many years to come. Gracias Jenny por ser tan hermosa con los clientes! Y muy pronto nos vemos. Oh and by the way... she kept the dining area looking impeccable! All by herself!

As good as the food is I never come here unless all other places are closed. I call in advance to place phone orders and it's happened a couple of times when they don't place the orders and have to do it when I get to the location. I've waiting almost an hour waiting for a few pupusas. It's ridiculous how long the wait times are. If you can go anywhere else do yourself a favor and go to another place. It's not worth it.

I like the pupusas! I would not come back for the service, server came back once and then disappeared. My head chef was not impressed with the caldo de gallina.

The chef is on point as always, but do not come during Elizabeth shift. Her service is terrible. Literally she's not bringing our orders as she should and every simple thing we ask for is taking forever. She is very distracted with running her mouth with everyone in the restaurant even went outside to continue her conversation, leaving the restaurant, unattended she's forgetting things. Just terrible.

About a month ago I wrote a review on this place on how disappointed I was after this restaurant was my favorite and I known the owner since she use to work in Bell. Well I have it another try and guess what. I received the wrong order again. This place service is so poor that it sadness me. This restaurant used to be so good.

Ordered thru DoorDash waited 30 minutes and came to pick up saying it was ready but had to wait 36 minutes more for it to be actually ready

I really wanted some papusas so I came to this place I was not greeted well I was stared at like I had a THIRD EYE. No one asked me if I spoke Spanish they just assumed I did not so i was passed over before anyone spoke to me then the kitchen staff came out to look at me, some guy i think the dish water came out all aggressive and said ( WHAT DO YOU WANT BRO?!?!?!!) I said what ????? Puzzled he repeated WHAT DO YOU WANT. I said I'm in a restaurant I want food, I then said why are you talking to me the waitress can take my order I was talking to HER he then said she dont talk English I said OK I was talking to her in Spanish she turns to him and explains he is talking in Spanish, he walks off then cooks this lady the cook she looks threw me then ask the waitress what I want I say I'm standing right here I ordered papusas the lady then says what ME NO ENGLISH the waitress then says again he is speaking in Spanish so say in Spanish to the cook if you dont speak English why are you here she said because when I walked in one of the servers ran to the kitchen saying a none Spanish looking person just walked in and she wanted help ??????? Needles to say I won't come back I wont recommend this place not because of service I can handle that after I say down to wait for my food I was bothered by flies not just one but about 5 that's where I draw the line

Great spot in Santa Ana. The pupusas are delicious as well as the juices and other foods on the menu. We always visit this place when we go to El Salvador.

This was the last time I ever go here. The worst service I have ever experienced. If I could give 0 stars, I would. The waitresses only seem to be interested in flirting with and hanging out with patrons at the bar for tips. They usually take a while to prepare the food, which was fine... I knew what I was getting into. But this last time, I walked in, placed an order and waited 45 minutes before they decided to start making my food. And to top it off, they pretended like no mistake was made. I got my money back. If you're looking for good and honest service, don't go here. The environment is trashy anyway. Not a good place to take your family.

Popusas are good, I always order for pick up, always receive my order in a timely matter. When you walk in, It is a little bit loud in there, they usually have music playing.

Hello i made an order here at 4:10 they said 20 min wait which i felt was reasonable for 3 pupusas, pastelitos, sope de gallina and a side of yucca con chicharron (60$)i get there 10 min after the said 20 min, where I thought I gave them time to complete my order i walk in pay and after i pay the cashier tells me it will be an extra 15 min. I commented "i made my order 30 min ago..." and no response lol so i go outside wait the 15min and come back in after to where the girl says 10 min... i was going to ask for my refund but decided to just wait because my sick mother is home waiting for her soup. Wait 10 min walk in the cashier looks at me proceeded to pack other orders (about 6min) and finished then decide to hand me my completed order she had on the counter sitting..... she looked at me laughed and said "sorry muchacho" to add insult to injury.... I wouldn't recommend anyone to come here i got my food cold & honestly flavorless the only good thing was the pupusas I waited ONE HOURE for food that was disappointing. A cute cashiers w/ a nice waist doesn't make up for bad service. Sorry NOT SORRY we even have plates left over it was that bad... ESTE SERVICIO FUE DE LO PEOR Y GASTE MAS DE 60$

Horrible service and I found a hair in my food I definitely wouldn't recommend. Took forever for my food and the people who work there seem unhappy with their job.

Food is great & the service is awesome. But when it comes to waiting for food its a ridiculous amount of time. We have been waiting for our food for almost 1hr just for two plates. Unbelievable!

This is my first time there and it's a lil hole in the wall. But there pupusas were very good! I've been to quite a few places there's are very flavorful. The revueltas are exactly what wanted nice and big and full of chunky goodness. I will surely come back to eat there and try out there other specialties. Thumbs up for me!

this is my go to go restaurant DEFINITELY love the pupusas here ! they are super sweet / kind most of all they're really respectful. Would definitely recommend you guys to go here and try the pupusas ! you won't be disappointed.

Quality of food is always basic... u der cooked although we always ask for well done, curtido never tastes fresh. Reason for returning was because place was near my residence... Why its horrible... i noticed they take a long time, longer than usual. As an understanding person i never complained but instead added an additio al 5-10 min to my wait. The last time i was here food took over 45 min when they said 25 min And today i called at 1006 am and its 11:21 i just complained to manager/owner lady with curly hair that this is ridiculous and she replied i wouldnt go somewhere where they take so long. Ummm i called at 1006 you said 35 min because i asked for well done and i camee at 11 lol soo i waited an additional 21 min....

Trash food trash workers should've shut this place down. Nobody knows what's going on ever here and the food is worse than frozen food.

The pupusas were actually pretty good! I had a pupusa de revuelta and a pupusa de pollo... Andddd a tamal de pollo and they were all delicious. The way is the unfortunate part. There's only one waitress (at least when I went) and there was a good amount of people so she was trying but still pretty slow (but she was nice, don't get me wrong) I've had worse pupusas and I've had better. But I'd go back again! No harm in trying it for yourself!!!!

Ayer fui a cenar en la noche con mi esposo unas pupusas, y estavan deliciosas, ya aviamos venido ase unos semanas a comer pupusas pero las de ayer nos encantaron mucho mas, muy ricas y deliciosas, felicidades a la cosinera que las iso. Vamos a regresar pronto

Service needs some help, however the food is very delicious. I usually order take out, they always tell you about 30 minutes however I always show up about 45-60min because either way they still make me wait.

Worst service ever ,came in the restaurant with my family,it took the lm am hour to serve the food,my kids were starving at the time. Sadly theirs more waitresses than cookers.....

Was trying to make it down the street to the Korean BBQ place. But closed for the day. So I walked in here looks decent sit there for about 10 minutes waiting for help. The help comes over and ask if I know what I want? I asked for a water and she brings a bottle after about 7 to 10 minutes. So now another lady comes by and ask if every thing is o.k or if I need help? I place my order with her a Asada burrito. So about another 10 minutes go by then they bring me some soup of that I never asked for. They called it a chicken soup that was a broth with about four or five small potatoes. Was that in place of the chips and salsa? I'm not sure but almost 40 minutes in I'm not saying anything. Got my food and all I can say is ask for light on the beans. And for the first time in my life on the onions and cilantro. The only good part was the meat witch it left me hoping to find more. Then after sitting there for an hour and some I get up and walk towered the counter and she ask me if everything is good? Does that mean I could have walked out? Oh how sometimes I wish I had no conscience!!

I came here tonight to order food to-go. The menu had a lot of great options at reasonable prices. The pupusas may seem a bit pricey, but they are huge. I ordered the 7 mares soup and it was really good, and enough for 2 meals. I really liked the atmosphere, the music, and the bright decorations. It is open late, and the staff were very friendly. I think it's cash only, but there is an ATM in the restaurant. I will definitely be back to try other things on the menu!

This is my second time eating at this place and it has been great. 7 mares soup was delicious and service was attentive for a Hispanic restaurants is actually above average on service and served chips with beans sauce unique and add a great touch.

Food is good but customer service is terrible and they take for ever to get ur order done. We ordered thrue the phone we were told 20 minutes we got to the restaurant after 40 minutes and our food was not ready we were told to wait 20 more minutes.

Terrible service as soon as I walked in the waitress looked at me like a bum didn't even offer me a table instead she told me if it was to go like if she didn't want me there than after I asked for a beer it felt like she forced herself to hand me the damn bottle. I was craving pupusas so I ordered a few and to be honest I've had a better pupusa from two star place in LA. They have salvadorean cuisine. From breakfast , lunch and dinner. Pupusas , tamales, caldos wide variety you will be pleased.

I've only had their Pupusas and I LOVE them. They are authentic and delicious. They take a while because they are handmade to order but sooo worth it. The slaw that comes with it is a perfect complement.

This Salvadoran restaurante has the best Horchata(rice drink with various spices ie. cinamon, semame seed.....). The owner makes it from scratch from freshly roasted ingredients. The Salvadoran horchata is unique and different from Mexican horchata. it has an explosion of nutty flavors. Suffice it to say, that if the owner takes pride in making the Horchata from scratch(most time consuming), the rest of the dishes are made with the best ingredients. The dishes i have tried (pupusas ofcourse, sopa de rez...) have all been excellent.

On 12/30/17 @ 12pm my husband and I arrived, we were craving popusas. We sat ourselves and got our own menu's. To be honest I kind of had a hunch as we arrived that it was going to be a disaster. 1) the waitress was a complete B****, she had NO smile, serious, mean character and got the order all wrong. All that make up would explain why she was hiding her probably even worst self. 2) Food took 30 min to come out. When I asked for appetizers, She said not until soup is all out. The chips with beans as an appetizer was nasty, and honestly when the popusas came out not that great for the price. We asked for a cocktail for appetizer, since the chips and salsa were not a choice at the moment, and the cocktail came out when the food came! So we sent the cocktail back, and here comes miss make up clown to demand why it was sent back. Claiming it takes time to make. B**** IT IS COLD ! Doesn't take as long as popusas! Point being, take your money else where, the customer service is horrible, and the reason it takes long because it is horribly runned. One ticket at a time. Not because it is made on the spot, one of the workers that was taking a break as we left had negative things to say about the workplace, but she needs a job. Go elsewhere to eat.
