Yarza

"A contemporary-style restaurant that describes its traditionally inspired Valencian cuisine in a single premise: “We cook in the same painstaking way as in the past, but with a modern touch”. On the à la carte, featuring an array of suggestions with a focus on wild-caught fish of the day, you’ll also find delicious rice dishes (Arròs del Senyoret, Arroz en Perol Marinero, Paella de Costilla Ibérica) which need to be pre-ordered. Make sure you sample the exquisite cod fritters (Buñuelos de Bacalao)." - Michelin Inspector

There is no doubt that this restaurant is all about the excellence in service and then just a tiny step behind, the food. The service we received was super professional and warm (I am sure they are after their first star). Food was very tasty as well, but since the service was 10 out of 10, it overshadowed the food a bit. The dishes were honest but what we loved the most was the attention to details how to make the dishes clean on the palette and the skill to treat the raw ingredients so they gained the most of each. Some dishes were a bit under salted and this is the reason for giving one more point to the service. Anyways, I definitely recommend to visit this restaurant as soon as possible because the moment they will receive their first star, the prices will raise and it will be hard to get a table there after that 😉

This place was awesome! Everything I got was delicious. I can see why its Michelin recommended. I just walked up without a reservation but next time ill make a res so I can try the paella which has to be ordered in advance. Best olives ive ever had, golly! Straight gas! 🔥

Absolutely delicious food. Their dishes are so, so well and carefully prepared (and presented and served), with a very subtle use of flavors. If the dish description says it's got a, b, c, d ingredients, you'll be able to taste a, b, c, and d. Nothing dominates. And yet the restaurant is relatively inexpensive. I'm so surprised that they don't have Michelin stars instead of being a bib gourmand restaurant

An upscale, modern, clean, and minimalist restaurant that’s known for their paella. YARZA is on the Michelin guide as Bib Gourmand, but I think very well deserves a star. Our experience from beginning to end was top notch and can probably be labeled as fine dining. Seafood paella was outstanding as was their cava. Service was extremely friendly and professional. Prices are, however, steep.

Among the most memorable and delicious meals of my life! I was only in Valencia for a week and came here 3 times, which says it all! My first dining experience was Tuesday late lunch, and it was to celebrate my mum’s bday. Our server introduced me to a most delicious aperitif and helped guide us thru the vegetarian selections on the menu - y’all I never knew peas could taste that delicious! Each dish was standout and the menu plus service was sublime! We stopped next on Wednesday evening for dessert (so good!) and then dinner reservations on Friday night, where had the seafood paella (so delicious!). I would especially also recommend taking the cod fritter - this was like sinking your teeth into a cloud like filing, which tastes like the ocean and is not at all fishy. Overall, a beautiful dining experience, with fantastic service and standout food. Heartily recommended!

This restaurant is extremely overrated. My mom and I left it angry and hungry! Ingredients are good, but you can find this level of ingredients quality in many places in Valencia. The real problem is the portion size: it’s RIDICULOUSLY small for a 20+ euros each dish. One of them was so, so, so small that it’s not even a tapa size, nor a kids plate size (see photo!). We felt scammed! We also ordered the chipirones (small squids), and it was also ridiculously small, with no more 8 units of them, super tiny and it costed us 28€ (WTF🫤). Runaway!

We had dinner there last night. The food was spectacular and so was the service. Amazing place. Totally worth it.
