Montreal Restaurants Work Around Outdoor Dining Ban With City Parks | Eater Montreal

"After watching a press briefing, I learned that Beaubien Street’s rooster-themed breakfast spot La Grand-Mère Poule, run by Sébastien Abrieu and Catherine Laforest, has been renovated into an all-day affair with a cocktail bar and a burger-and-shakes offering imported from their hit Mont St-Hilaire restaurant Shack Attakk; hoping for a spring terrasse, Abrieu bought folding camping tables to set up in the nearby Molson Park (starting with eight and expecting up to 30) and is renting them for $10, with a $10 gift card if patrons post about it on social media, positioning the service as a table rental paired with takeout that he plans to continue even after terrasses reopen." - Valerie Silva

Very quick service! Also like they have vegan options. The portion are good enough for one person I don’t have to do take out. Highly recommend to change your usual breakfast potato to this shredded potato!

Great vegan breakfast options, and tons of other breakfast options for the whole family. Friendly service and adorable setup. Place specifically for kids to play away from eating area which is a nice touch. They use JustEgg for vegan dishes, delicious. Definitely check this place out!

Not disappointed. I’m not a big fan of breakfast, but it was a special occasion and we all really enjoyed it.

I had to order coffee after reading their menu cuz the menu was too long. Coffee is nice though. Lots of gluten free options for my sensitive tummy friends.

My husband and I love this place. Great food: so many original eggs benedict options!!! Fast and great service: we got our plates under 10 minutes, the staff is attentive. Ambiance is calm and clean: I don’t feel overwhelmed by the amount of noise unlike in other restaurants.

First of all, congratulations to the boss for losing another customer. A new store opened nearby. We still chose to go to the store we used to like to enjoy our happy family time. I didn't expect that I felt under siege for the first time. In summary, if you want to be treated well and enjoy the food, you must obey, wait patiently and tip more. I just want to know where my money is spent. What's wrong? I won't go there again. The older male waiter, please roll your eyes at your customers after you figure out the situation. Although your service made me feel contemptuous and impatient, I still gave a 15% tip because it was just politeness!
