For a restaurant that has been around for 20 years, the food is good, not amazing. Basically all the recommendations are fine, but venture off that list and the dishes are average if not a bit confusing in terms of taste. Satay beef skewers was the best dish we had. Meat was tender and tasty. The sauce was is sweet, but I believe that is typical for Malaysian food? Roti with curry was also memorable because of the soft airy roti. However, the curry was warm, but not hot. We had lamb with ours and the meat was not gamey. Overall happy with the food. Laksa was salty and lacked any fragrant coconut taste. A bit disappointing for sure. The pineapple fried rice also lacked any distinctive flavour. It’s great fried rice and they use fresh pineapple, but that is about it. Banana roti is sweet. Roti was great, banana flavour can be a tasted, but the sweetness was a tad overpowering. The stir fried beans were overcooked, not recommended. I wished we tried the egg plant instead. The kitchen’s last call is at 7:30pm and they ran out of char kway teow when we ordered. I feel that dish needs to be tried if you visit. The restaurant was pretty full when we got there, but we did not need to wait in line. Overall, for a restaurant that has been around for such a long time, it’s good. I think the taste profiles for some of the dishes could be improved.

Delicious, authentic Malaysian food with fast delivery and very generous portions! We ordered the Nasi Lemak with chicken, Roti with chicken curry, Penang Char Kway Teow, and the Indian fried noodles, and everything was absolutely satisfying. The Nasi Lemak had fragrant coconut rice with crispy, flavourful chicken and a nicely balanced sambal that wasn’t overly spicy. The roti was soft and flaky, perfect for dipping into the rich and aromatic chicken curry. The Penang Char Kway Teow had that classic wok hei flavour, savoury, slightly smoky, and packed with ingredients. The Indian fried noodles were especially impressive, with a bold spice aroma, springy noodles, and a comforting savoury depth that made every bite addictive. We’ll definitely order again!

Stopped in at Restoran Malaysia for dinner after craving it again. We have been here several times before and it never disappoints. We ordered the roti with curry sauce, which had great flavor and the right amount of spice, along with the beef skewers, belachan eggplant with shrimp, red curry with chicken, belachan fried rice, and the Penang flat noodles. The noodles were my favorite of the night, full of flavor and cooked perfectly. The food was great overall and definitely worth a stop if you are in the area.

If you're looking for real-deal Malaysian food, this is it. Their Roti with Curry is my go-to every single time, and the Banana Roti is the perfect sweet treat :) honestly, they are both 10/10. The Penang Char Kway Teow is also a standout; it tastes exactly like what you’d find in Asia. A total gem!

We got the roti canai with chicken curry, Thai green curry, some noodles and beans with minced beef I forgot the name of the dishes, teh tarik to drink, three desserts from which the mango sago was the best. It was PACKED. Good service and everything halal

My experience at this restaurant was extremely disappointing the second time I visited. The photo was taken on my first visit on October 19. That day, we arrived around 7:40 PM, and the staff told us that we needed to place all our orders at once because it was the last call, as their kitchen was closing soon. However, no one rushed or pressured us — we took about five minutes to look through the menu and placed our order around 7:45 PM. Everything went smoothly, the food was delicious, and the staff were polite and friendly. I had a very good impression at that time. Because of that great first experience, my boyfriend and I decided to come again for dinner on October 29. Once again, I arrived around 7:40 PM (it’s hard for us to arrive earlier because of work). At the entrance, a short-haired girl greeted me warmly and told me the last call was at 8:00 PM. I said “no problem.” I sat down and was on the phone with my boyfriend discussing what to order (he was about five minutes away). Then another long-haired waitress came over and stood right next to me, basically pressuring me to order immediately. Her attitude was very rude and aggressive. I asked her a question about the menu, and she looked impatient and annoyed, giving me no time to browse. My boyfriend on the phone was asking me to find a curry dish, and I asked her twice which one it was — she didn’t help at all and just said, “It’s curry.” When I asked if it came with bread, she poked the menu with her pen and said, “This one.” Her tone was completely different from the friendly service I experienced during my first visit — it felt like two completely different restaurants. I was caught off guard and still talking on the phone, so I told her, “Can you just place these first? I’ll look at the rest after.” She replied, “No, you have to order now.” I had no choice but to stop ordering more, and she took the menu away. When my boyfriend arrived a few minutes later and spoke to her, her attitude suddenly changed — she was calm and polite, with none of the impatience or rudeness she showed me earlier. He even asked her for the menu again to double-check one of the dishes we ordered, thinking we might have picked the wrong one. She was nice to him, even offering to change the dish for him if he wanted. That clear difference in attitude made me feel humiliated and angry. I lost all appetite and just wanted to leave. So I can’t help but wonder — was it because I was there alone, a small woman, that she thought I could be treated that way? Would she act differently only when there’s a man present? If the last call was actually 7:45 PM, why didn’t they say that at the entrance? Why tell me 8:00 PM and then rush me the moment I sat down? She stood over me, pressured me to order, and made me feel extremely uncomfortable — both mentally and physically. If you allow customers to sit down, the basic expectation is respectful service. I’ve dined at countless restaurants across Toronto, but this was the first time I’ve ever felt so disrespected and even intimidated during a simple meal. Honestly, I left feeling like I had done something wrong just for being there. By the way, when we left, there was still another table dining — so clearly it wasn’t about time. No matter how good the food is, after that experience, I’ll never come back again.

Every time I miss Malaysia and my unforgettable university days there, I come to this restaurant and it never disappoints. The taste of the food and the overall vibe instantly take me back to those special memories. The dishes are absolutely amazing, full of authentic flavors, and the portions are generous enough to share. The roti with curry is a must-try , it’s rich, comforting, and just perfect! The staff are always friendly and welcoming, and the prices are very reasonable for the quality you get. If you’re in love with Asian cuisine, especially Malaysian food, this place is an absolute must visit!

Really delicious food and decent prices! Only thing is they close earlier than you might expect for dinner so just be aware of the timing!

Located on the south east corner of Bayview and Major Mackenzie. The parking lot is busy and maybe a little tedious to find a spot and very limited number of accessible parking spots. The food is not very authentic and more catered for the Canadian taste with a touch of Malaysian taste. The service is rushed and do not take reservations. Half your party needs to be present before they will seat you. The prices are on the higher side and prefer my east end options

Flavourful curries and roti Food: The roti pisang came with the other two curries at once. The roti pisang with crispy yet slighly sweet and it balanced well with the banana flavour. The beef malay kari was on the sweeter side, and tasted of lots of coconut milk. The nasi lemak with the beef rendang was on the spicier side, with coconut rice, peanuts, cucumber, and egg to help cool down our palettes from the heat. The flavours were unique but not something we would crave again, and the portions were on the smaller side even though the plates were very large. Service: The restaurant was pretty large but we still had to wait about 20 minutes for a table of two. As we sat in the corner, we had to flag down staff for placing orders and getting the bill, which is fairly typical of Asian restaurants. The staff were quite friendly, and let us know when we initially wanted beef rendang that it would duplicated in the nasi lemak, so we opted for Malay kari instead. Atmosphere: The restaurant has been around for a while and is clean and comfortable, but could use some renovations to help modernize the space. There were fish tanks in the entrance and tables throughout the very long dining room.

My friends and I never go for this type of cuisine so it was all our first times going to a Malaysian resto. Good for groups and large parties with ample seating. We came here after lunch and there was a lot of free tables. I ordered the Indonesian fried rice that came with shrimp chips. I found the fried rice to be really good. The color/presentation of the dish was appealing, it was aromatic and I expected it to be spicy but it was not. My friends tried a bit of it as well and all said it was good. I would def be ordering this again if I do go back!

What a terrific meal. We had the mouton and the chicken roti, chicken and vegetarian spring rolls, green mango salad, fried chicken, and the chicken and beef satay skewers. Everything was simply delicious. The servers were attentive and friendly.

This is our go to for Malaysian food. Service is always amazing. Yes. It is on the pricier side, but the portion is quite big (I can barely finish 1 entree on my own) and the quality is always great and fresh. Our fav dishes are the curry with roti and pad Thai. We tried the tamarind with fish this time. it's savoury & sour which is quite interesting flavour. We also tried the sweet chili beef tenderloin which is more soya sauce base, so I didn't think it was that special. There's plenty of protein in the entree dishes and most are very saucey so don't forget to order rice on the side. It's quite spacious inside the restaurant. Decor is kinda dated and nothing fancy. Note that their hours are pretty limited (closes at 8pm even on weekends).

Another take out dinner recently for a celebration dinner with my family. The restaurant has been around for a long time so it is a bit dated now so we didn't care to dine in and went with take out. You can also save a bit with 5% off on cash payment. We had over 10 items to pick up on a Thursday afternoon at 5:30pm and everything was nicely packaged and ready for pick up. I can tell that they timed it well in terms of preparing the dishes as the dishes were still hot when we got home. We ordered 3 fried bananas desserts which came with ice cream so be sure to bring your cooler bag with ice packs if you order this item. We did reheat the fried bananas since it's so much better when it's hot and you can't expect this item to stay hot by the time you get to dessert. I think that this was everyone's favourite and 3 orders were enough for the 8 of us. And the mango ice cream went perfectly! For the appetizers and mains, we got beef satays, Hainanese chicken and both dishes are my favourite. The yellow curry chicken and beef were good too. My daughter really enjoyed their Indonesian fried rice (Nasi Goreng) and curry mutton with roti. Overall, we enjoyed all the dishes and we will definitely be ordering again in the future!

2nd time here, and the overall experience is consistent. Since the last time I came here (some years ago) it used to be cash only. Service is excellent and very attentive. Plenty of seating and overall venue is presentable. For food we ordered the following; -Curry sauce with Roti -Assortment of Skewer served with peanut sauce -Beef curry with Roti -Penang Char Kuay Teow -Black pepper beef Kuay Teow Portion wise, well worth it and prices are reasonable. Taste and quality are always maintained.

Tasty food, friendly server, nice ambience. A pretty decent Malaysian restaurant. The appetizer platter was simply amazing. It came with beef satay, chicken satay, spring rolls, fish cakes, shrimp chips, plum and peanut sauce. Nicely done and satisfying. Singapore Laksa was awesome. The curry laksa soup was fantastically spicy. It went so well with the noodle. It's funny that when we placed the order, the server recommended us to get this but really avoid the Penang Assam Laksa as it was quite bad! Haha, for sure and we've made a good choice. The mango rice pudding was tasty but not well presented. It could have been done better with the plate to make it look more exciting. Overall, it is a recommended Malaysian place!

Used to come here all the time. Haven't been here for years yet the quality and taste is still the same. Great food, clean environment and good service. Their curry roti is a signature dish. A must-order every time we go. We tried their Indonesian fried rice which the server mentioned is a popular dish. We thought it was mediocre - nothing too special. Cash only. Quite busy on the weekends. Reservations not accepted.

A cheap and delicious Malaysia restaurant one day, we were craving to southeast asian cuisine and saw this place on my social media feeds, so we decide to come here. the food was good and affordable. highly recommend the banana pancake, it was recommended to me on social media, and we tried and love it. almost every table ordered this dish, it was a snack, but very southeast asian, sweet and crispy. the drink menu was awesome, so many variants of coffee. the food portion was good. i will definitely go back again, just for the drink and banana pancakes.

My favourite place to go when craving for some beef rendang. We got their beef rendang, pad thai, and kari ayam (chicken curry) with paratha on the side. Took about 20 minutes for our order to be ready. My family was hungry, so we just couldn't wait to get the first bite. We usually get their beef rendang and chicken curry, but something came over me and decided to try their pad thai. The pad thai was a huge portion, could feed 2 people easily. Added a touch of lime and peanuts to elevate the flavours even more. It was super good, and i think the eggs made it a touch creamy it was delicious needless to say! mr. Tran enjoyed his chicken curry, you can't go wrong with that, and the rendang was just as good the first time I ever tried it, beef was soft and tender with lots of spices and lemon grass. My 2 year old had some pad thai, but the highlight for her was the paratha! She loved it so much, I had to tell mr. Tran to stop eating the paratha and save it for her (he ate the curry with rice instead). I believe they accept CASH only.

The food is yummy here! Pretty delicious! Service was good. You might need time to look for parking, but we were able to grab one pretty quickly. The ambiance were very relaxing. I especially enjoyed the curry noodle, definitely do not recall what is the name on the menu. Their chicken was also very tender too.

I have been here a long time ago. But since I learned how tasty Laksa can be while I stayed in Asia for a couple years, I started looking for Laksa in Canada too. The search led me back to here. The place is not as busy as before Covid. But the service was very attentive, partly due to us going for an early lunch. The server helped explain in details the two different types of Laksa and the different type of noodle. I ended up ordering the mixed noodle of vermicelli and yellow noodle. This combo gave us a very good firm texture that goes well with the heavy flavorful soup. The soup is spicy but with complex flavors. The chicken, fish ball slices and tofu goes very well with the soup as traditional Laksa should have. We set out to find a Laksa that taste as good as the best we have tried in Hong Kong, and we ended up finding better Laksa here. The price is good for a noodle as well, with tax and tips it is around 22$ per person for a tasteful Laksa lunch.

Comfortable environment. The waitress was helpful. Food is ok, but nothing special. I enjoyed the dessert more then the entries. Would I come again, maybe once or twice a year is enough for me.

Authentic Malaysian cuisine. The portions were generous and the flavors were delicious, just like the Penang laksa and mee goreng we had years ago when we traveled to Penang. We ordered the Hainan chicken rice as well and it's very good too. The service was friendly and dishes came out quick. The prices were reasonable.

I always come back for their char keow teow. I didn't notice it last time but I was really impressed with how many shrimps it had. I think we counted almost 13-14 shrimps, and they are pretty big. As always, the char keow teow was delicious and large portion. Their prata is also really good. I wasn't a huge fan of the chicken this time but the curry sauce was flavourful. I ask got their durian milkshake, it's creamy but so sweet. You taste more condensed milk than durian. The service was pretty good as well. The staff were friendly and attentive. It's a bit on the pricey side, but the noodle and curry was more than enough for two people. We were left super full and satisfied. I will be back!

I've been a customer to this restaurant for years! I haven't ordered from them in a a few years but wow has the food quality gone down! The food was terribly greasy. This is based on my take out experience but the oil was all at the bottom of the container and I couldn't even eat the noodles on the bottom because it was covered with oil. The roti was chewy and soggy even though I tried it as soon as I walked out with my food from the restaurant. The chicken skewers had a few pieces with some kind of cartilage on it or something. They're lucky there arnt many Indonesian Malaysian restaurants around or I am positive with this type of quality food they won't last.

Not exactly a eating place that is attractive. Charges high prices and wants cash only. The food is not that great either and comes in smaller than expected portions.

Has easily moved to our go to restaurant! We have been a number of times, each time I am always blown away at the quality, flavour and overall amazing experience. The roti alone is reason enough for us to come here, add in the satay, the curry, and the noodles and this is our go to for a great meal experience. Service is also always great and friendly, restaurant always clean. Our family favourite!

Haven't been here for ages! But glad it still around. I ordered the chicken roti, the roti was so soft and sweet. You can eat it alone. The chicken curry sauce was creamy and complimented the overall dish perfectly. We also ordered the Penang Char Kuay Teow which tasted quite similar to the chinese soy sauce rice noodle with beef/bean sprouts. What made this different was that the noodles were thicker width wise, had a lot of wok hai (wok air taste/smokey) and they added chilli . Overall it was a good dish to order. Lastly, got the shrimp paste fried chicken. The chicken was quite tender and you can very much taste the shrimp paste coating. Also it comes with yummy shrimp chips. All 3 dishes were quite good! I will go back to try other yummy dishes.

Food was great. Service was awesome. The Ambiance was warming. Everything went well and seems a perfect night. I would recommend to try.

Sorry the picture doesn't look appetizing but it was hard to stop eating after we started! Only remembered to take a picture after I took a breathing break after engulfing all the delicious food. The roti with the curry sauce is ADDICTING. I couldn't stop eating because the sauce was so flavourful. The portions for the price was a bonus. I was so full from this already but we also ordered Beef and Chicken skewers and Nasi Goreng. The portions for the Nasi Goreng was insane. We didn't even finish half because we were so full so we were able to bring a lot of it home. The skewers were very flavourful and juicy, the beef was my favourite. The service was outstanding. The male server attended to all our needs and didn't miss anything. He went above and beyond and was very professional. Definitely going to come back.

Came here for lunch on a weekday. Prices are good (around $11-$13 per dish) and so are the portion sizes. Tried the char kway teow and the Thai chicken & basil rice. Char kway teoh had a good flavour and "wok hay" (check out Uncle Roger if you don't know what that is); there were only a few shrimps though but maybe that's how they keep costs down. Thai chicken & basil rice was a bit odd - it was not like how the dish is usually made. Too saucy; it's supposed to be a dry stir fry kind of dish.

Genuine Malaysian food. Consistently good standard. Friendly service and comfortable seating. Like their laksa. However, they charge for extra soup for the laksa.

Absolutely amazing. Every dish we ordered. The plethora of drink choices too. I couldn't choose. This is by far one of the best Malaysian restos in Toronto. Definitely will be back to try other items.

Went there for dessert and drinks. They had run out of rose syrup so the dishes with rose syrup were not available sadly. They use F&N rose syrup from Malaysia for an authentic taste, but this is hard to bring in during covid. Teh tarik (pulled milk tea) was rich & had the authentic very tannic flavour. Durian smoothie had a good durian flavour & was smooth & rich. ABC (air batu campur aka ais/ice kacang) was good, with a good range of toppings, including palm seeds (attap chee). Sago gula melaka was good - very soft with a rich palm sugar taste. "Goring Pisang" (pisang goreng - fried banana) was good. It was crispy & in Chinese style with the banana being tender & sweet. It paired well with the ice cream. The decor is nice & modern, which is a change from most Asian places.

This is my lunch place when I want yummy big portion good Asian food. Service is always excellent and quick.

This place is the OG. I think Restoran Malaysia has been around for over 20 years. Their roti bread is legendary. They have a lot of great Malaysian and Singaporean dishes. I've been here many times. Today we had seafood satay skewers which were super excellent! We also ordered a couple roti's with chicken curry. Their green beans with garlic is only ok.

Our top pick for Malaysian cuisine, this spot consistently delivers outstanding service. While it falls on the higher end price-wise, the generous portions and consistently fresh, high-quality food make it worth it. Personal favorites include the curry with roti and pad Thai. The recent try of tamarind with fish offered a delightful blend of savory and sour flavors. The sweet chili beef tenderloin, though more soy sauce-based, didn't stand out as much. The entrees are protein-rich and saucy, so don't forget to order a side of rice. The spacious interior, albeit with a somewhat dated decor, provides a comfortable dining experience. Worth noting are the limited hours, closing at 8 pm even on weekends. Kudos to the owner for maintaining such a commendable establishment.

Sad that the authentic taste is no longer existing in their food. they have removed quite a lot of authentic items from their menu. Rojak is no longer available. the Nasi Lemak has lost its rich taste. sad. will not go there again if i am looking for authentic Malaysian food.

The restaurant only accepts walk-ins so we tried our luck on a Saturday night - they had a table that could accommodate our group of 10+. Def counting our lucky stars!! My fav dishes were the Seafood Salad and Nasi Lemak Melaka!! Another popular item at the table was roti with a side of curry sauce. They offer a weekday lunch menu (Tuesday to Friday) with signature dishes that range from $11-12. Pretty good value compared to their regular prices so it's worth venturing here to try it out on a weekday!!

Restoran Malaysia is our go-to location for Malaysian food. Their beef satay skewers are a must-order item on the menu. I still haven't found a place that does it better (let me know if you have a recommendation for me haha). We usually order their curries and Nasi Goring. Very delicious!

We got takeout here recently and noticed that the prices are quite steep compared to the quality of the food. It's been a while since I've come back to this restaurant and was quite excited given our previous experiences, but I was a little disappointed from this past experience. The Tom Yum soup we got was $8 and it came in the smallest takeout container bowl ever - the taste was ok but it's not worth it for me. We also got the appetizer platter (the taste was just ok), and the pineapple fried rice - we only found 3 pineapples in there, which was really disappointing because I got it so that I could have pineapples with my fried rice in more than 3 bites. However, their laksa noodle soup is really good - maybe just stick to this if you're going to give this place a try. I may just go back when I'm craving a good bowl of laksa!

Good food and service, lightening very dim but could for ambiance. Would return. All flavorful

I revisited this place recently and it's generally a 4.5 star experience. The speed of serving was quick and there was no lineup at 6pm on a Saturday. The food was quite yummy. We ordered the beef and lamb satay, the fried rice noodle, the coconut rice and the rotis with beef curry. -The rotis was quite chewy and flavourful and went quite well with the curry sauce. -The coconut rice came with some minced beef, eggs, cucumbers, peanuts and onion sauce. The onion sauce was quite spicy and overpowered the coconut scent a little bit, but in general it was still quite tasty dish. -The mutton satay had enough sweet sauce on top of the skewer, I felt like you didn't really need to dip in the sauce on the side provided. -The fried rice noodle was not bad as well. I can tell from the dish a solid cooking fundamental from the chef including balanced flavouring and good handle of the fire. I would like to make it a usual go-to place!

The little details here are nice. Their water is the filtered type with a clean taste, and they serve a paper straw with a plastic sword decoration. Very nice. Service is also very friendly. For the food, I had their Indonesian fried rice. Super tasty! Their shrimp chips are also delicious, and the fried rice comes with a few though you can order a batch of shrimp chips separately. Located at Major Mackenzie and Bayview, you'll know you're at the right place if you see the McDonald's. Parking can be a pain sometimes, as the plaza lot is limited in space.

Been going here for over 10 years, it's quite the reputable place in Richmond hill. I really like this place, the food is really tasty and portions are huge! I ate half my takeout pad Thai and will leave the rest for tomorrow. Their lunch specials range from $8-$10 - so cheap! I wouldn't say this place tastes authentic but I don't care, it tastes so good. Dishes I highly recommend: laksa, Singaporean chicken rice, Penang fried kuay teow

I would give 3.8/5 stars if I could. Singapore chicken rice dish - very good with lots of meat. Meat is juicy and soft. I think this dish is the best value in terms of price & taste!! It's under $10 if you go during their lunch hours! Red curry chicken - honestly nothing too special. Tastes ok. Price again is under $10. I like this place for their lunch specials & also their roti with curry is yummy! @jk.nomz

First time eating here since Covid came into our lives. It is first come first serve so no reservations are needed. They have good COVID screening protocols. Upon entering you must sanitize your hands, fill in the contact tracing and your temperature is taken. The tables along the walls have dividers to help with social distancing and to protect patrons while they eat. The utensils are clean and come in a wax paper bag. The menu is a QR code. We ordered: 1. N05 Basil Mussels 2. K21 Green curry beef 3. A03 Satay chicken 4. A04 Satay seafood 5. E14 Black Peppered Beef Kuay Teow 6. C01 Tom Yum Goong soup 7. E16 Pineapple Fried Rice 8. T03 Goring Plsang (Mango) Fried Banana and Mango ice cream The flavours of each dish is delicious! The only minor improvements I would note is the Kuay Teow could be less salty and the mussel dish was a bit too watery. My favourite dishes are the soup, dessert and skewers. The roti is also very good but we didn't order it this time. They have so many dishes to choose from! Would highly recommend!

This place was on our list for our Toronto trip. The kid has been asking for roti canai for ages and figured we'd have it on vacation. Note - this place is cash only! We ordered a couple drinks. Friend got the Guava Citrus with no added sugar. It was ok. Definitely had guava flavor. I ordered the basil longan. It tasted more like lychee though. The kid tried mine and asked if it was supposed to be lychee. The roti was good. Not as light and flaky as what we get at a local place at home, but the kid ate it all up. The chicken curry for dipping was ok. Could've skipped the chicken part of it. Mee goreng was too heavy on the ketchup flavor and the noodles were a bit too soft. There was only one piece of tomato in the entire dish. Not sure if they just cook several orders at once and plate it, but more tomatoes and less ketchup would've been nice. Singapore Laksa was ok. I have had better with instant noodle versions. Didn't have much depth to it. Again, noodles were a bit too soft. With so many other food choices in Toronto, I wish we had picked something else.

I haven't been here for more than 5years and I'm so glad they're still around. Honestly, I also think they're they only Malaysian restaurant uptown. The portion sizes for noodle and rice dishes are generous that you can split the meal between 2-3 people. We got the Pad Thai and the Indonesian fried rice. For the appetizer we got roti with mutton and skewers (3 chicken & 3 mutton) the peanut sauce is amazing!!! The price are affordable for what you get!

Love this place for a flavourful meal. My go-tos are the roti and curry, laksa and the lunch menu veggie curry.

Great gem. Looking for a yummy Malaysian / Thai fusion resto? This is it. Roti was great. The chicken curry was exactly what I wanted. No coconut cream, nice star anise flavour green mango salad was standard. Singapore Laksa was my fav. Great heat and delicious. Next time I'm definitely going to try the other one! Ps get the mango sticky rice! I forgot to take a pic cuz I dug right into it and devoured it

3.5/5 food-wise but 2 star due to their poor service by the lady (detail at the bottom). Ordered takeout a couple days ago with my Malaysian friend. Char Kuay Teow: It was good but nothing remarkable. My Malaysian friend also told me that it didn't cut it. Curry Mutton w/ Roti: It tastes pretty good and the roti was really nice. It just felt a bit pricey for what you get. 2 small rotis and the small meat chunks was a bit disappointing. Asam Laksa: I actually enjoyed this quite a bit. It was probably the highlight for me, as I've never had something like this before and the sour soup was quite nice. The rice noodle had a good amount of chewiness too. Nasi Lemak: The dish was pretty good and the coconut rice was great. I just wish there were more ingredients that went with the rice since the ratio felt a bit off. Overall, the food wasn't bad and I enjoyed the Asam Laksa a lot. The biggest downside was the lady's condescending attitude towards my friend. She initially denied that she had an order for our friendsince she assumed that the order was done through the phone (she told him that things can either be order through phone or skipthedishes). And instead of asking how we ordered, she just snapped back and was just condescending throughout. My friend told me that some of the food (like Asam Laksa) was good. But also told me that he can get better Malaysian food elsewhere, which he will be taking me to so I'm quite excited about that. Would I have gone back again? Probably. Would I go back now? Probably not.
