This is a very old coffeeshop along the main juction road.
This coffershop have 9 to 10 local cooking food stalls.
Each has their unique taste.
You may think the old coffeeshop is warm but not true. Old but comfortable.

a chinese kopitiam from the 60s. renowned for their evening/night food stalls of bbq chicken wings, satay, mamak style soups and the neighbouring beef ball noodles. the satay is cheap and tasty. at rm1.40 for a stick of chicken satay with thick peanut sauce, cucumber and onions. also available is compressed rice at rm1 each.

It’s been a while since I ate here, used to have tasty food but unfortunately they’re all gone. The Chinese Nasi lemak has since moved into a small shop lot. Didn’t get to try it as there was a queue. Parking’s a nightmare! Park by the road side.
Sat down uncomfortably as the tables and seat were sticky when touched 😳 saw creepy crawlies doing their business. Ordered drinks, satay, char koey Teow and chicken wings. None were memorable.
Drinks - lohan guo. Very sweet. RM2.60
Satay - the gravy lacks oomph. Missing chilli oil. 😔 Chicken’s alright. Juicy and succulent but the kambing 🤦🏻♂️ what a letdown. Very Gamey and chewy. RM30
Char koey Teow - I can cook better. It tasted nothing like CKT! Hard to describe.. it’s just not good. Cheap though. 🤷🏻♂️RM6
Chicken wing - so so only. I’ve had better. Tiny to say the least and the condiment sauce lacks taste RM12 for 2 pairs.
On my way out I ordered sugar cane. This was good but overpriced. RM3.50
Vouched never to return! A total scam if you asked me. Avoid at all cost. Probably only thing worth coming back for was the Nasi Lemak. Yet to try though.

This shop has been here for ages. My first visit was like 28 yrs ago. Of course 1 or 2 stalls have changed hands. My favourite is the satay. The best in town. Portion wise and reasonable price. The peanut sauce is thick but I would prefer it a little bit more spicier. Unlike satay kajang, they do not have sambal to add on. The chicken and beef were well marinated, tender and juicy. Many orders at dinner time but I only needed to wait 3 mins for it...right timing. Same with the grilled chicken wings. Looked smaller but tasted just the same. Very tasty...RM7 for a pair. The pau stall had customers queuing non-stop for takeaways. Tried that before and it was really good too.
Sitting inside the shop was a bit stuffy for me. I always choose to sit 'alfresco' Malaysian style. Used to have more tables outside but now quite limited...like 5 tables on a week day. The popiah and 'bowl' rice cake from the stall outside were delicious. Queued 15 mins for them.
Cars were parked everywhere. I parked at NSK and walked from there...only 2 mins from the entrance.

Old establishment but the variety of food is still there although some have moved. We tried the satay, dry prawn mee, fried rice, mutton soup, pau and grilled chicken wings. All tasted good and the service is prompt. Parking can be a problem in this area.

Old school kopitiam (chaotic traffic and parking situation at a busy intersection, super smoky environment) with a pretty good satay stall that is said to have a long history there. Generous with the meat (and fat), and quite moist. There's also an old artisan pau stall here that's famous for red bean pau. Very smooth kochabi red bean filling. Sit outside for a more comfortable dining experience.

I visited this old-style restaurant yesterday.
I tried Hoikkien Fried Mee and Satay here.
The Hoikkien Mee is great, large portion. Just rm9 for a flavorful dish.
Satay also good, a bit sweet for me.
The place is crowded during dinner hour, so you will wait a bit longer during these time.
I order sugar cane for rm3.5 , it is okay. The sucar cane does not have a strong flavor as sugar cane in Vietnam but it is great to calm down your thirst.
