"A turquoise colour scheme, rattan furniture and wall coverings impart a retro tropical vibe. The menu is dominated by Isan cuisine from Northeast Thailand, mindfully prepared by a Thai kitchen team. Khao Soy bursts with aromas from the coconut milk curry and chargrilled chicken. Pla Phao, salt-crusted grilled fish seasoned with lemongrass and pandan, is served with lettuce, rice vermicelli and a tangy sauce. Lunch menu offers great value." - Michelin Inspector

The charcoal grilled pork neck was so good, that we haven’t taken any pictures before we finished. The other kind of pork neck was also nice. Another highlight would be the beef curry, very much rich in tomato instead of being spicy. For those who don’t like spicy, you may also order the crab meat fried rice, loved it.

Although all dishes were served promptly, but still arrived “barely warm” — a surprising misstep, especially considering that Thai and most Asian cuisines are traditionally presented piping hot to bring out the full depth of their spices and aromas. The presentation was Thai modern cuisine and visually appealing, it felt as though more attention was given to plating than to delivering authentic, vibrant flavor. Regrettably, the only item I managed to finish was the coconut drink — which, unfortunately, ended up being the highlight of the Michelin meal?

The menu is dominated by dishes from Northeastern Thai cuisine, delicately crafted by a Thai kitchen team. We tried a few dishes and they are certainly top notch in Hong Kong! Here are some of our faves- 🔸Khao Soi Aroma-laden northern Thai curry noodle soup made with fragrant coconut milk and spices, perfectly served wth two types of egg noodles 🔸Suea Rong Hai Grilled in northeastern Thai-style, the beef was marinated with spices, grilled then sliced to small pieces. Loved the tenderness of meat and the intense flavor, elevated with herbs-based dipping sauce 🔸Mango Sticky Rice Mango slices turned into a flower - a dessert both mouthwatering and eye pleasing!

Restoran SAYA is one of my favorite Thai restaurants in town. Both your eyes and your taste buds will be delighted. The portions are generous, and I especially love their green curry. The garlic bread was fresh and full of flavor—definitely a great addition to the meal.

Nice decor, good crowd. Service is alright, nothing to shout about, and no complaints. We wanted to order Tom Yum Kung, but they don’t have it for I don’t know whatever reason. Food is authentic Isan, good quality. But I felt it’s a little pricey.

6 December 2024: I found this restaurant through a Michelin recommendation. I enjoyed the Pla Phao, which is described as a “salted crust fish stuffed with lemongrass, Pandan and lime leaf, sauced with chilli dips”. There was a lot of delicious fish meat which I enjoyed wrapped in lettuce and vermicelli. We also enjoy the Khao Soi, a Northern Thai coconut curry noodle. Washed down with a young coconut. A comfortable and ambient place to enjoy dinner.

Michelin recommended small gem restaurant in tai kok tsui. Not a lot of food choices but each dish is very yummy and big portion. The beef curry is my favourite with crispy garlic bread. Normal dining hour is 1.5 hours for dinner but we went on Thu not a lot of guests so can sit longer.
