Mind blown. There are no words to describe the amazing food and service experience we had. This is absolutely a must try for anyone looking to have an exquisite taste of island offerings. From the amazing wine pairings to the meticulously assembled meals. Just world class all around - I can’t wait to be back.

We had the tasting menu "The Bridge", serving classic dishes with a heavy focus on local/Croatian ingredients. Well thought-out order and adequate portion size. The wine pairing also consists of local/Croatian wines exclusively, varying significantly in taste and complexity, that compliment the dishes quite nicely. Very friendly, attentive and knowledgeable staff. Only downside is the parking situation, which is reserved to hotel guests only and available public parking is sparse.

Vila Rova offers a great dining experience in a beautiful pool and seaside setting. The menu has some interesting options, and the dishes are well-prepared and nicely presented. The truffle dish is definitely worth trying, and the tartare stands out as something a bit different from the usual, and it's amazing. The flavors are well-balanced, and you can tell a lot of thought goes into the food. Chef Marin Pleše clearly has a great eye for detail and a creative approach to traditional flavors. The atmosphere is relaxed, and the service is professional. I highly recommend Vila Rova

I am not one to leave reviews but I felt that it was necessary to leave a 5 star review for this amazing restaurant. I have travelled a lot and have never experienced better food and service. My husband and I stayed at the Vila Rova hotel for 3 nights and only ate at the Vila Rova restaurant because it was that good. Small, intimate restaurant with great ambiance. Servers were quick to fill water, wine and provide the best service I have ever had. They were accommodating and really attentive. And then there is the food…..I was honestly blown away. From the house made focaccia and olive oil, to the well thought out mains and delicious desserts. We did the four course tasting night one and as much as I wanted to do it again, I didn’t want to try to mess with perfection!!! We ate from their ‘a la cart’ menu the rest of the trip and it did not disappoint!!! The breakfasts included in the stay were also to die for. So many creative dishes to try and you could order as many as you wanted. I left every meal feeling truly content!!! Please, make a reservation, try the tasting menu (or anything off the menu), you won’t be disappointed! Best restaurant in Croatia….actually, the best restaurant so far in all of my worldly travels!!! Thank you Vila Rova Restaurant (and hotel!!) for the best experience and food. I will be recommending this hotel and restaurant to all of my friends and family who plan to visit Croatia.

A unique dining experience on the island of Krk! We tried the whole tasting menu and were in awe with the amount of detail that was put into each plate that was served to us. From start to finish, all dishes were very well done, full of flavor and meticulously served. The whole service was to a high standard, waiters were attentive and pleasant. The location is also great - just a few meters from the seafront, next to Hotel Vila Rova’s private olive grove and swimming pool. Chef Marin Pleše’s vision of creating a fine dining experience with a focus on local cuisine is showing a lot of promise - definitely worth visiting!

“Krk on the plate” is an excellent testing menue which celebrates local ingridients prepared in contemporary way. Marin Plese, the Chef is eager to combine tradition with modern cuisin, which results with delicious plates… scampi, lamb, gnoci, presnac. Excellent service. Nice atmosphere. Loved it! Highly recommended :)
