This was a cute little stop. We went in the other day for our coffee date, and I tried the Mexican coffee and had it made as a latte. I also tried pretty good spinach, turkey sausage, and goat cheese wrap. As we tried to pay when we ordered, and they said we could pay later, which seemed odd to place an order at a counter and not pay. We sat down, and they brought over our disposal cups of what we ordered and then later brought over a plated wrap and sandwhich. The BLT looked amazing, I must say. If you order "for here," they will bring over the food and drinks to you and then later deliver your check. Its ordering at a counter, serving the drinks in disposalable cups that throws things off things that had us confused: is this a counter coffee that I'm getting and sitting down, or a dinning experience I'm sitting and tipping for. Counter service is where you order at counter and you pay there, and your food can be brought to you or not, and you may or may not tip. Table service is full service from order to check. So this was why what happened was a off mix. Maybe they were short handed or just being helpful or extra kind to go the extra mile. It just came off a little weird though mixing the check part in when we offered to pay at the counter twice in the beginning.

Google
I had the ECC, the hummus toast, and a caramel latte. Everything was fantastic. I don’t know that I’ve ever seen hummus toast at another coffee shop. Service was great, everyone was friendly, and the vibe was chill. It is a quintessential coffee shop. So glad I stopped in when I was in the area.

Healthy options. Great selection. Excellent service. Even better - great food. And there are meaty options; not all vegan/vegetarian. Tacos, avocado toast, and a bowl that my wife ordered. All top notch. Great work, folks.

Google
Haven't been to Restoration in about a year or two. Stopped by in the morning and got The ECC, an iced latte, and a scone to go. The latte was great however I was disappointed with the sandwich. The eggs were overcooked unlike the buttery and fluffy texture that I remember from before. Didn't help that after another bite I found a long hair in the sandwich...like I had to pull it out of the egg kind of long. The scone was good although dry. Overall I was very happy with my latte and the service was great, but I hope the food quality gets better.

Few GF (Celiac Disease) Options: They offer GF wraps. I made a Cesar bowl into a Cesar wrap and it was yummy! It came with popcorn which was a surprise. The staff was nice but space inside is limited. The water station is underwhelming. The water does not taste good. Also the location in Manchester is not great....plus only on street parking.

Google
This restaurant is a beautiful contribution to the community. It has a beautiful umbrella covered garden that is perfect on a warm sunny day. Nice stepping area that you can either work or read a book. The staff is inviting warm and very accommodating. The staff also offered generous selections with a drink menu with coffee and fresh juices. The restaurant is moderately priced also. We started with peach ginger tea. It was a bit of a weak brew with very little ginger. I would have liked sweetener offerings, including agave packets or sugar in the raw. We had the Thai noodle bowl during our visit. The noodles and salad had a beautiful selection of veggies. However, the chicken we added had absolutely had no flavor or taste. The peanut dress needed to have less salt and a bit of citrus and a touch of honey to lift the flavor. I was excited because I thought the salad had mango, but it was yellow bell pepper. I felt like it was missing something. I would go back again because everyone has an off day, and maybe this could be it for them. Perhaps it was simply my selection, and I should have asked more questions. Either way, maybe the second time is a charm.

Google
With so many delicious items on Restoration Cafe's menu, it was hard to choose just one... until I saw their 4 Cheese Grilled Cheese Sandwich made with aged swiss, ricotta, cheddar, provolone, avocado, sluced tomato... and the BEST thick cut sourdough bread I have ever tasted! 😋🥰🤤 (thank you Nashoba Brook Bakery!) I was in taste bud heaven! The cafe has beautiful indoor and outdoor seating... and Brook provided outstanding service.

Yelp
This place is great! Tom always has a great menu, food is outstanding and the atmosphere is very laid back and cool! Definitely try this place out!

Yelp
I ordered takeout from here for breakfast and it was amazing. I got an egg sandwhich hash browns and the blush drink. Everything was good and I was a little concerned about the price but the portion sizes help to justify it. I'm excited to try more menu items. Stay tuned!

Yelp
I seriously look forward to eating here every time I'm in town. The food is always healthy, delicious and just wonderful. For drinks my favorites are the mushroom latte and golden milk latte - can't go wrong and, again, healthy for you! This morning, my son tried the taco, with no complaints. I got the messy eggs with mushroom, spinach, and goat cheese. Very flavorful and the potatoes were spot on perfect and freshly made. You will not find anything frozen here. We both also ordered sourdough toast on the side, which was a thick slice and very very good. The service is just a little slow and not attentive, but we overlook for the delicious food and drinks. Worth a stop!

Yelp
This place was such a great find. There's a small outdoor patio in a side courtyard with umbrellas and cozy seating. Inside there were high top tables as well as couch seating near the windows. You can order in or carry out and you can pick a quick item from the bakery counter or you can choose an item off the menu. I got the messy eggs with cheese, bacon, and mushrooms. This is an omelet served on home fries and it was very tasty! My friend got the vegan toast with a tofu mix on top of toast served with greens. She said it was delicious. The prices were very reasonable for the portion and quality. The vibe was comfortable and it seemed like locals, families, students, all frequent the location. The waitstaff was friendly and personable. We visited on Sunday when street parking was free and plentiful but I imagine at busier times it might require parking a bit farther away due to street parking availability. Overall I'll definitely be back to try more items on the menu.

Yelp
When writing reviews, Yelp encourages you to consider three factors: (1) Food, (2) Service, (3) Ambiance. I went with two friends for breakfast on Friday morning, and this is based on our experience as a group. Let's go through all 3 so that you understand why the Restoration Cafe in Manchester, NH is garbage. Food: We ordered a variety of foods, curious about things on the menu. This included: - Soothe Dr. Tom E Juice - PB Power Snake Oil Smoothie - Matcha Boba Milk Tea - Acai Bowl - Quinoa Oatmeal - BLT Egg Sandwich It. Was. Awful. The beverages tasted like something my kids would make. The acai bowl...how do you screw up an acai bowl? Well, it starts with using acai that has been sitting in the freezer for too long. The egg sandwich was clearly cooked by someone who loves salt. Like enough to feel like my tongue burned and require an extra dose of lisinopril afterwards. Service: Sort their reviews by "Newest First." You'll see other people describe how miserable the owner and the staff are. Why go into a people-facing business if you clearly hate people? Two examples we experienced/witnessed: (1) One friend has a soy allergy. He asked for his PB Power Snake Oil Smoothie to be made with another type of milk. We heard the "chef" complain and say to the server "I don't give a bleep what his allergy is, it's made with soy milk." Uhh buddy, you ain't working at Eleven Madison Park. (2) Do you have children? Don't come here. They hate kids. Read Piper F.'s review from Nov 22, 2023. We saw pretty much the same thing. There's an area by the front window where we saw two very adorable little kids goofing off. They were maybe 1-2 years old, and the mom was watching them. One of the staff (don't remember her name, but if I had to guess, it would be Karen) walked from all the way in the back of the cafe to the front to lecture the kids to stop disrupting the other guests. Except the thing was, besides those kids, our group was the only other group in the cafe. And we didn't care at all. Ambiance: Do you like looking out at your car every 30 seconds to make sure that it hasn't been broken into, while you are eating lunch? If yes, then come on down! The address for the Restoration Cafe is 235 Hanover St, Manchester, NH 03104. The address for a Manchester public housing complex is 198 Hanover St, Manchester, NH 03104. The address for a shelter which houses addicts is 199 Manchester St, Manchester, NH 03103. Map these locations and let me know if you feel great hanging out in the area. Do you like eating in a restaurant which doubles as the mail room for an apartment building? If yes, then come on down! No joke. There is literally a large group mailbox for the tenants/owners of a condo complex in between two tables of the cafe. It's such a weird set up.

Yelp
This place is amazing! I craved their avocado toast during my pregnancy and it is the only thing I could keep down.

Yelp
Rude staff. I was visiting my daughter and grandson from out of state and, even though it was very near empty, they couldn't allow us to sit together, not even on the empty couches! Seriously not worth it. Also, sketchy area with homeless people everywhere and living in the park next to it. Not cool.

Yelp
The food was amazing & perfectly made to perfection. Tie dye Smoothie was spot on along with the sour dough avocado toast. Messy eggs with some crispy home fries. The SEC wrap was yummy bursting with freshness. #newhampshire #goodeatsinct #foodporn #foodie #fooddestination #travelingandeating #roadtrip #restorationcafe #firefly #fallweather #winterapproaching #manchesternh

Yelp
Fresh flavorful food, a variety of healthy choices, and one of the best places to eat if one does not eat gluten. It's a gem.

Yelp
We were in Manchester for a few days and stumbled upon this place. Great for Freshly made breakfast and brunch food, fresh juices with great service. We got the Bahn Mi sandwich, Egg Salad and Chive sandwich and the the egg salad sandwich. All were delicious! We came back here the second day!

Yelp
I'm here on work travel and needed some detox from conference food (pizzas, subs, pastries etc). During our break, my coworker, and I literally ran to this place, even though it was 20 minute walk each way. We did take out and it was totally worth it! Their golden milk was exactly what my stomach needed to feel better. I was thinking I wanted a Matcha, but when I saw their golden milk was sweetened with the date paste I couldn't resist. I also got their delicious southwest bowl, which was phenomenal. The veggies were fresh and the taste was perfect. This place hits the spot for healthy food , lattes , and smoothies. My friend got a matcha and the noodle bowl and she loved it!

Yelp
I visited Restoration Cafe today. I love the service, I love the clean eating concept. This cafe does it great, and I just enjoy the environment.Avocado ToastThe Tab Sandwich, impossible burger, coffee, homefr

Yelp
I enjoyed the atmosphere and the different vegetarian options they have available. I ordered the sushi bowl with tofu. It was okay, I thought it was lacking some flavor and could have tasted a lot better. Coffee and juice were pretty good. I'd be willing to go back and try out other items, just wasn't very impressed with the meal I got.

Yelp
My sister and I went here on a Sunday morning for brunch. The weather was nice, so we decide to sit outside. There was a little bit of wait in the beginning since the restaurant is full table which I understand. However, after having brunch, and spent time a while at the place, I have a sense that sadly the staffs are not properly trained. I ordered a tab sandwich and tie dye smoothie, my sister order a wrap and latte. My food was amazing! I highly recommend the Tab sandwich here, there is a hint of lemon juice, and sweet crunchy bacons. This sandwich is packed with flavor, tie dye smoothies was amazing too. The food was great, but the service is why I gave this place 2 stars First, after the crowd die out, and there are only 3 tables left, it still took our server forever to come to take our orders even when the restaurant is not crowded anymore. She also was not check on our table even one, no question like how we are doing, and if we need anything. My sister want the sauce basket for her wrap (all other tables have sauce basket on their tables). The sever look like she didn't know which table order which, because I saw her bring the food to the wrong table. My sister also ask for a ice latte but the server bring out a hot one, and it took her forever to bring out the one with ice( I already finish my sandwich when she bring out my sister redo latte). Toward the end of my sister meal, she found a small piece of metal in her latte cup. Lucky that she feel it in her mouth and not swallow it. At this point, she is almost finish her drink, and we already pay the bill. At the same time, the server still not come to our table to check on us. My sister and I are tired at this point, since we have been there for a while. So I just let her know on the way out that I found this in my drink. (She didn't say sorry or anything about this btw). In general, very disappointed at service here. I think that if the restaurant have a better training for their staffs, everything will be great. l like the Tab sandwich here, so I might come back and have it for Togo next time or might be not since I don't want to break my teeth by accidentally chew on metal object.

Yelp
Cute little place with a comfortable atmosphere. The food was good. There were many gluten free options. However, when you're almost done the staff will touch the rim of your coffee and if they think you're done won't pause and will take your food then ask are you done? Even though clearly still eating. But personally not a fan of eating food after someone else has touched it.

Nicholas F.

Yelp
Delicious well priced food with quick and friendly service. Indoor and outdoor seating with multiple table styles.

Yelp
Used to frequent this place. It seems that within the last year or so it has gone downhill. My recent visit will be my last. The staff are aloof and untrained. There was feces smeared all over the toilet and not soap or paper towels. I brought this note staff and they said if have to go find another restroom as they were understaffed and couldn't clean it. They didn't even shut down the restroom. I've had other recent experiences where they were downright nasty. For such a simple menus and concept it baffles me they can't get it right. Not sure if it's maybe under new management or their hiring standards have been lowered. It's too bad, it was a convenient location for a healthy lunch downtown. I'll drive the 5 miles now for a more pleasurable experience.

Yelp
A great little spot in Manchester. My second time here and this time they were closing but the owner happily made me a latte and told me to stay as long as I liked. The staff (Maui) also very friendly.

Claudia R.

Yelp
Food i fabulous. Service must have been very impressive despite any problems that can come up daily including supply, etc.
google avatar

Yelp
This Cafe is a gem, The avocado toast with scrambled egg was tasty, fresh and amazing! The acai bowl was delicious, we got smoothies, juices, salads, and lattes and it was all exceptionally great! The staff was friendly, hard working and the prices were reasonable. It was a great spot to hang also, this is a highly recommended stop in the area
google avatar

Doug Y.

Yelp
Breakfast is the meal where you always what to expect. Do you want your eggs scrambled or fried? But not so at restoration cafe. I loved the unique options on the menu. The food, along with the old time pharmacy feel including interesting magic potions and elixir drinks designed for the health conscious, make this experience different and fun. Serving the drinks in beakers is yet another nice touch. I went with the Breakfast Tacos and really enjoyed the spiciness from the included Chorizo sausage
google avatar

Brian H.

Yelp
In town for a few days and was looking for a place to get a breakfast sandwich. Gotta say, it was excellent! Had the ECC. I'm sure there's a lot more good stuff there that I'll try next time in town. Worth checking out!
google avatar

Haley G.

Yelp
Tacos are amazing. But I ordered bacon and it is not edible. Really disappointed. This is not quality a restaurant should be okay with sending to a paying customer.
google avatar

Lauren C.

Yelp
Great little spot for breakfast or lunch! I love that their menu has extensive healthy options for both vegetarians/vegans (including whole foods/plant based choices) and meat eaters. Their focus is on bowls (breakfast bowls and savory bowls) and sandwiches. I went with the quinoa tabbouleh bowl, and it was fresh, flavorful, and delicious. My friend raved about the pressed tuna sandwich. Our drinks came in cute little beakers. I'm not sure when I'll be in Manchester again, but I will definitely make a point to come back to this place!

Amber R.

Yelp
Absolutely loved everything about my meal here! Fresh ingredients, fair pricing, and absolutely delicious items. I will most definitely be returning and recommending to others.

Cristine G.

Yelp
The most unprofessional I've ever seen. Will not return. Absolutely shocked at how rude owner is to customers.
google avatar

Stuart P.

Yelp
Food was nice but service was slow on this Father's day, although place was full inside and out. I ordered a tea that came after a 20min wait and tbh I wam not exactly sure what I got (maybe camomile?) but with milk added it was unpleasant. For breakfast/brunch I ordered the messy eggs with chorizo, ham and cheddar. I should gave asked for condiments as it needed seasoning and hot sauce. My wife had caesar salad with grilled chicken and she thought it was great, offsetting my more muted view, and adding a star. Venue is nice and located on Hanover Street with patio to the side.
google avatar

Viola B.

Yelp
Food is a little on the pricey side, but right in the range for this style of cafe. The staff are always very friendly, and even when it is busy it's generally a quiet place. I haven't gone in nice weather yet but they have a patio with heaters that would be lovely to sit in. My meals are always delicious and the food fresh, portions are right in the middle, not huge but not small. I do not drink coffee EVER, but I tried their iced coffee here and I loved it. This is one of maybe 3 or 4 places I will order coffee. This is a spot that I frequent.

Jordan P.

Yelp
Meh, "laptop crowd" kind of spot. Good food and drinks but too small of a dining area. Order at the counter then find your seat. Hard to justify a "waiter tip"- which they push.
google avatar

Keirsten B.

Yelp
I've only had coffee here, but it was excellent. I've been twice, and one of those times, I witnessed some really uncomfortable and abhorrent behavior from the owner. The women working there are pleasant enough, but the owner is not. Another reviewer already prefaced the same event I witnessed, but two weeks ago, I saw the owner aggressively approach a man with his family over moving two chairs, which were in a small area at the front. The cafe was very busy and this was the only area for this family to go. The owner said "I don't come into your house and move your furniture." The man (who didn't even have the opportunity to purchase anything, so the business lost out on that), responded appropriately defensively, and the owner got in his face as if to start a physical altercation. Overall, it was super awkward and uncool to witness. If I ever get coffee here again, it will definitely be to go.
google avatar

Anita B.

Yelp
Loved this little gem of a restaurant. My breakfast of a Pb&j bowl was so good I got a lunch to go. The Buddha bowl was sublime. I'll be back whenever I am in town.

Ashley C.

Yelp
If you're visiting NH I'm sure this is a cute spot to get a quick meal but if you're a local SKIP THIS ONE. The cook was screaming at the staff during my meal and it made me very uncomfortable. The girls at the counter are great but the chefs attitude is almost as nasty as his weird bland food. Matcha latte was somehow dry and very bitter it tasted like god graced me with green dirt in a cup mixed with milk. Again, waitresses were amazing but I will be damned if I ever go back here again

Denise M.

Yelp
This is a fantastic place offering clean food! Everything is fresh and made to order. The setting is cozy with couch seating at the window, some high top tables and outdoor patio seating. I highly recommend it.

Wyatt B.

Yelp
they were rude! we showed up with 5 people and they turned us away With three open tables. I can not believe the behavior of them. I feel sorry for those who go and support.
google avatar

Ally M.

Yelp
4 stars for the food but unfortunately the service is only a 1. I've been here a few times for coffee and always enjoy the food and atmosphere. However I always end up waiting a long time for my food and coffee to come out. Today I didn't have time to wait so I ordered online. When I arrived and picked up my food I sat at an open table to eat it. Within a minute a server came over and asked us to leave because we had ordered online. As a paying customer I was very surprised to be asked to leave. I had also left a tip. This does not create a welcome, inclusive environment.
google avatar

Thom D.

Yelp
I think a better name for this place would be Procrastination cafe. Food and coffee is good, but drip coffee took 10 minutes to come out. After waiting for 30 minutes for our breakfast we asked about our order. Waiter said somehow the order never got to the kitchen. No apologies or anything, just really matter of fact. Luckily we weren't in a rush but if you're looking for a quick breakfast and coffee I'd look elsewhere.

Yelp
worth a detour! Restoration Cafe-- Healthy, Plant Based, and everything else from Smoothies, tonics and tasty food!! Locally sourced eggs, jams and vegetables! The Chef/Owner came out and chatted with me and created just the perfect mix of veggies, some plant based proteins and all so flavorful!! Scrambles. Tacos, Bowls.. and incredible toast with local raspberry jam! Dark coffee was solid as well. The care and flavors that goes into the food is amazing at these prices. My entree was under $10 ! Dishes can be modified for all types of diets, allergens, etc! All of the employees were warm and friendly. Restaurant is taking active precautions in light of Covid! Restoration has a pretty patio for warmer days, and does take-out! Street parking= free meters on weekends. Would love to try any of the Smoothies, or flavorful tonics! A must detour if in the Area!
google avatar

Allan C.

Yelp
Food was great, and the servers were super helpful and kind. Sourdough / jam side was awesome - that's some great bread. Patio was nice and made for a great brunch with the family on vacation. Only gripe is their milk pricing - $4 for a little 6oz cup! Other than that - recommend! Just let your kiddos drink water or get them the iced tea.

Tony B.

Yelp
My wife loves to get on yelp and find local hidden gems in whatever city we move to. Her favorites are cafe's, and we have been to hundreds all over the country. Usually I'm not into vegan/vegetarian places, that's more her "thing", but I have to say they knocked it out of the park here. Everything we ordered tasted and looked delicious! The cocktails here are great! Service is decent as well. I wish the portions were a tad larger for the price, but I ordered extra food instead.
google avatar

Evelyn P.

Yelp
Was a little bit away from the rest of the businesses but was definitely worth it. Cute atmosphere and a variety of inexpensive foods you've never tried before. Everyone can find something they love. Lots of options for restrictive diets.
google avatar

Carrie Ann G.

Yelp
I'm so happy to have discovered this little gem of a spot! They offer a variety of coffee, prosecco on draft, Bloody Marys, beer, and delicious smoothies. I've tried Apple Pie smoothie and the Beet It smoothie (beets, strawberries, pomegranate, and lime). Both are delicious! For food, first off the popcorn is amazing! It comes with all the sandwiches. It's addictive! The restoration tab sandwhich is phenomal. The bread alone is great. Super fresh ingredients of turkey, avacado, smoked bacon, lettuce, tomato, mayo, on ciabatta bread. I've had this sandwhich other places and Restoration Cafe takes it to a whole other level. The pressed porkloin Cuban sandwich is good as well, although it would've been better with more mustard on it. The breakfast tacos (eggs, chorizo, potatos, queso fresco wrapped in corn tortillas) are another great choice when they are serving brunch. I'm looking forward to trying the breakfast and lunch bowls soon. Plenty of great choices for all. They offer low carb, dairy free, gluten free, and vegetarian choices.

Anne G.

Yelp
I have been here many times. Great food and great service. If you like food that is tasty, but different, I would recommend Restoration Cafe.

Melissa H.

Yelp
Terrible service that matches the awful coffee. It was so bad I left it on the counter after still being charged for it.
google avatar

Monique F.

Yelp
Love love love. Farm to table locally sourced delicious food and coffee. Everything is made in house and attention to detail is apparent in all they serve. Favorite brunch spot. Love the courtyard.
google avatar

Kristen D.

Yelp
Yum! This place was so delicious. The new renovations they have done is modern and inviting. Staff was friendly and attentive. All the ingredients were so fresh. I wanted to try everything on the menu. Highly would recommend this place for a breakfast, smoothie stop, or midday snack!
google avatar

Jim C.

Yelp
This place is great! There are lots of great plant-based options available here. I usually get the Buddha bowl, and sometimes the other bowls made vegan. They also offer an impossible burger, which is ridiculously good. They have some great add-ons to their bowls, including lemon pepper tofu and butternut squash quinoa cakes. Their oat milk lattes are legendary! They have an excellent outdoor patio as well.
google avatar

Keith R.

Yelp
I really really wanted to like this place more... We came here on a weekend morning for breakfast. The inside is modern and the entire vibe is quite hipster (not a bad thing). It is on the inside/first floor of an apartment building. We were quickly greeted. We ordered Iced Americanos (which came in beakers which was a cool touch). Inside was clean and spacious. Coffee was good. No complaints. We then ordered breakfast. I had a wrap and my husband had a benedict melt. The prices of this place could be a lot higher, just given what they are selling, but we were shocked at how reasonable/cheap everything was. I also ordered a side of home fries. The food was great, no real complaints. They had a nice selection of hot sauces too which were indulged in. The problem came when I got my home fries (essentially fried potatoes). My potatoes were raw. The center was NOT cooked. they were so raw, my partner heard me crunch into them on the other side of the table. I told the server who was very appropriate about it, apologized, and then took my plate back to the kitchen. I then overhear the cook (a lady with no apparent social awareness) get upset and say "They are cooked! If he wants mashed potatoes, he should go somewhere else!" We were sitting at least 15-20 feet from the kitchen...Thankfully, when we got the check we were not charged for the side of home fries. Sadly, the manager of the place who went out of his way to chat with every table, never came by and talked to us at all... I can deal with so-so food, mistakes and even a dirty restaurant. I CANNOT deal with disrespectful employees.
google avatar

Corinne R.

Yelp
Iced matcha, chaga mushroom latte, golden milk. They all kind of tasted like dirt and we're very expensive :( would maybe get the golden milk but probably not
google avatar

Zoe K.

Yelp
Delicious breakfast and lunch spot! Their mixed drinks are also amazing, especially when enjoyed on their patio on a nice sunny day!! Highly recommend.
