Where to order breads, cakes, and pastries at bakeries for takeout and delivery in Las Vegas and Henderson - Eater Vegas

"Retro Bakery made the move from Centennial to Charleston Boulevard, and continues to stay open with its fun flavors of cupcakes, cakes, cookies, and frozen yogurt. A $20 cupcake kit includes six cakes, buttercream frosting, and sprinkles for decorating. Brownie sundae, carrot cake, cookies and cream, pink lemonade, and fan favorite hopscotch are among the flavors. Customers can order online and pickup at the shop or pay a delivery fee." - Susan Stapleton

Retro Bakery moves to Summerlin in December - Eater Vegas

"For the last dozen years, it’s been “all about the buttercream” at Retro Bakery’s storefront in Centennial, but owner Brian Haskell and his team are now counting down the days until they relocate to Summerlin. Retro Bakery will depart its 1,000-square-foot location at the intersection of El Capitan Way and Durango Drive on November 30, heading 15 miles south to a 1,112-square-foot former dentist’s office. The bakery sits between a Papa John’s Pizza and a Subway at 10217 W. Charleston Boulevard in the Auto Care Plaza with Vintner Grill across the street. The bakery warns owners of gift cards and reward points to cash in before the end of the month. Retro Bakery promises that the new home will feature “some surprises, and new offerings we can’t wait to unveil,” including a new tagline that promotes “your local cake & frozen yogurt shoppe.” Frozen custard joins the extremely popular cupcake roster including Hopscotch, milk and cookies, and Red Carpet, plus Retro expands its menu of creative, custom-ordered special occasion cakes. The bakery hopes to be up and running by December 1, but future business hours have not been announced." - Bradley Martin

Retro Bakery is the cutest little bakery in Las Vegas! It's easy to locate. The decor matches the theme. The staff is friendly and efficient. Plus they have a vegan option. Their vegan chocolate cake is quite delicious and the oreo icing makes it even better. We've ordered cakes and cupcakes from Retro B on several occasions. I gave them 4 stars because they lost a few points in the vegan variety section. While they offer three flavors of icing, they only offer a chocolate vegan cake. Unfortunately, they don't make a vegan vanilla (or any other flavor) cake or cupcakes. They also don't offer cakepops. Overall, I enjoy this establishment and recommended it to anyone who needs a quick dessert or who just needs to satisfy their sweet tooth!

I ordered a birthday cake for my daughter’s 5th birthday and it was a total winner! Beautiful rainbow cake just as requested and tasted amazing too. Due to my last minute planning I had a very quick turn around and they were able to accommodate. Very grateful!

We used to LOOOOVVVVEEE this place. I hope this was a one off because these cupcakes were pretty bad. Looked less appetizing than what I could do and tasted oily and old. Mind you, we've had a lot of their cupcakes in the past, even when they were in centennial, so I'm not comparing these to other places. They are significantly smaller than what we used to get just last year and the quality was not worth the almost $40. Usually, in our house, a dozen won't last more than a couple days. We threw these out after we all tried one.

I planned my entire Las Vegas wedding from across the country so I will admit that missing out on cake tasting was definitely a bummer and a leap of faith if you will! But I chose Retro Bakery to make a 2-tier naked cake with fresh floral for what I thought was an excellent price and it was PERFECT! They pulled it off for me with just a weeks notice. I gave them a few inspiration images and they made such a gorgeous (and DELICIOUS) cake that was just perfect. Thank you!!

I was super impressed by Brian’s customer service skills and confidence that my daughter’s birthday cake could be made here. I had gone to 5 other bakeries and even one of them told me to go to Retro Bakery instead. Most couldn’t do fondant, rainbow frosting, or just gave me the feeling like they weren’t confident that they could deliver. The price I was given was within the range I was expecting for the kind of detail I asked for (between $100-$200). I had several pictures of cakes with pieces of each one I wanted incorporated into mine and they did it! The cake was a huge hit! It was better than I expected and tasted great! I’ll be back here every time for birthday cakes!

Like mom and gramma used to make. I have purchased a birthday cake in January for my daughters big day. It was delivered on time as promised and was the hit of the party. Yesterday I slipped by there scooped up 8 cupcakes for mom wife's birthday. There was a mix of their yummy cupcakes everyone picked the one they wanted. All were very satisfied. It's all about the butter cream ! Thanks you Retro guys and gals for making my loved ones big days delicious. The cupcakes are safely belted in 😉
