We drove in from out of town for a friend’s birthday, only to discover the boat we reserved—the Gladys—was unavailable. The staff waited until we were about to board to tell us it had been out of service “for a while,” dismissively adding, “Oh, I thought you knew.” Instead, we were given an boat that only allowed sitting (as apposed to The Gladys that allowed standing which would be better for us since we have allot of tall guys in our group), with a cracked and poorly secured windshield that made navigation troublesome.
Customer service was promised to contact us while on the ride but never followed up, despite hours passing. When we requested a direct number, the associate hesitated to provide it and did so begrudgingly. Even after calling, no one returned our call.
The entire experience felt careless and unprofessional, disrupting birthday plans and leaving us with a product different than what we paid for. DO NOT RECOMMEND.
