"This new location for the Prezzemolo & Vitale supermarket group is their most central shop yet. Right on the Quattro Canti intersection of the historic center, the ground floor of Retrobottega is a high-end specialty foods, wine, and provisions shop. Upstairs, there’s a cocktail bar with table service for drinks and light snacks of cured meats, cheeses, and vegetarian platters. This place is a 12 outta 10 Here’s why: We shared 3 panini: polpo carpaccio, roast beef, and mortadella and each one was perfect in its own way. Pure, balanced flavors and top-quality ingredients. The staff were kind, genuine, and made us feel truly welcome. You can tell they care. Also, the place itself has a calm and stylish vibe.

The food was fantastic, the interior is gorgeous, the staff was incredibly friendly! I was able to sit and enjoy my lunch (a spiedini to rival my mother’s) and a delicious cocktail in a comfortable chair and without feeling rushed. Highly recommend!

Located above a gourmet grocery store this place is a welcome break from the touristy stuff on the street outside. We loved it so much we came back the next day for lunch! Sandwiches and pastas are delicious, fresh, and excellent wine list. Go!

He never pushed us toward the most expensive options—instead, he recommended the best items for our needs, and everything was surprisingly affordable. For me and my friends it was the best place to eat, all fresh and high quality, we have been 3 times there, 2 times in port marina and one in the center, both shops are great, also big selection of delicatessen and good wine card ✅highly recommend 👍🏼

Stumbled into this place as this was our first day in Sicily, Everything was excellent and a break from the meat and pasta of Florence. As a non pasta eater I found lots to eat on the menu, be call thought their meals are large. The restaurant is upstairs and the delli as you enter.

Delicious burger and the best toast with mackerel ever ! Very good italian cheeses board. So different then food on the street.
