"This new location for the Prezzemolo & Vitale supermarket group is their most central shop yet. Right on the Quattro Canti intersection of the historic center, the ground floor of Retrobottega is a high-end specialty foods, wine, and provisions shop. Upstairs, there’s a cocktail bar with table service for drinks and light snacks of cured meats, cheeses, and vegetarian platters. Gourmet grocery with great prices, ended up doing most of my pantry staples shopping here to take back home with me as i didn’t have time to go to the normal grocery. They also had very unique products which i didn’t see much elsewhere in the city. We ended up also having a sandwich and a meal here which was great! Generally happy with our orders- roast beef sandwich, caesar salad and breaded veal (could be improved, better crunch and breading). Though would have wanted to try the charcuterie board given the chance. Would recommend overall!

This place is a 12 outta 10 Here’s why: We shared 3 panini: polpo carpaccio, roast beef, and mortadella and each one was perfect in its own way. Pure, balanced flavors and top-quality ingredients. The staff were kind, genuine, and made us feel truly welcome. You can tell they care. Also, the place itself has a calm and stylish vibe.

The food was fantastic, the interior is gorgeous, the staff was incredibly friendly! I was able to sit and enjoy my lunch (a spiedini to rival my mother’s) and a delicious cocktail in a comfortable chair and without feeling rushed. Highly recommend!

We discovered this place when stopping in to buy something from the deli to take back to the flat, what a great discovery ! Wonderful selection of food and wine. Came back again the next day and then the day after to eat in. Not to be missed.

Located above a gourmet grocery store this place is a welcome break from the touristy stuff on the street outside. We loved it so much we came back the next day for lunch! Sandwiches and pastas are delicious, fresh, and excellent wine list. Go!

For me and my friends it was the best place to eat, all fresh and high quality, we have been 3 times there, 2 times in port marina and one in the center, both shops are great, also big selection of delicatessen and good wine card ✅highly recommend 👍🏼

This restaurant is perfect for an evening meal in the centre of Palermo. You could easily walk past without realising that, above the ground floor quality food shop, there is a super restaurant upstairs. We ate there twice because it was so good and such good value too. The ambience is perfect and the noise level is nice and low, due to high ceilings and no overcrowding. The staff are polite, friendly and attentive. The food was very good on both occasions and came surprisingly quickly for quality food - well done and thank you 👏
