Absolutely love this place! We came twice in four days because we couldn’t stay away. First off, the smash burger is out of this world—one of the best we’ve ever had. More people need to know about it! On top of that, their beer selection is incredible. If you're a fan of hazy beers, this brewery is a must-visit. We tried four different hazys on tap and every single one was a hit—balanced, flavorful, and super drinkable. Can’t wait to come back again soon!

This place has friendly staff & very tasty beverages, a truly delightful experience. The selection of artisanal brews offered a wonderful range of flavors to explore. Each beverage was expertly crafted, showcasing a dedication to quality ingredients and skillful brewing. The atmosphere was welcoming and relaxed, making it an ideal spot to unwind and enjoy a good drink. We highly recommend this establishment for anyone seeking an authentic and enjoyable craft beer adventure.

This Reuben's Brewery location is an awesome addition to the area and a great place to grab a beer. The space inside was much larger than I anticipated, with tons of seating inside and outside/at the window. The beer selection was pretty varied, with plenty of non beer items as well. We grabbed a pretzel which was quite good and all of our beverages were ice cold and tasty. For sure will be back!

We stopped in for a beverage while we were waiting for our table to be ready at a nearby restaurant. We were relieved they allowed kids in the building. We had our 3-year old, an 11 and 13-year old in our group. We were able to find a big table for our group of 7 inside. They have a wide selection of beer, cider and seltzers to choose from. I tried the Juice Party IPA. It was citrusy and delicious. They have a few TVs that were showing football, so it would be a cool place to watch a game. We would definitely be back.

Brewery: Ruben's Brews Downtown Taproom City: Seattle WA Why would I come back: Reuben's Brews is a powerhouse in the Seattle Craft Beer scene, and for good reason. The main facility is located in Ballard's famed Brewery District, but the downtown location is a must-visit visit for any beer lover. The incredibly diverse and consistently award-winning tap list is a cornucopia of flavors and styles! I'm stopping in for the famous IPAs, with all coast styles, but the variety is immense (Fresh hop lager on tap!), ensuring there’s a tasty option for every drinker. The atmosphere is energetic but comfortable and welcoming. Reuben's provides the definition of a Seattle brewery experience. It is simply one of the best. Brewed on premise: No Number of house beer taps: 25 Guest Beer: No, but there's a ton of non beer options Bar seating: 0 Table seating: Yes Patio: Yes Beer garden: No Food: Yes Food Trucks: No Dogs Allowed: Yes Televisions: 0 Beer to go: Yes Liquor: No Wine: No Tony: You Bet @brewersassoc @homebrewassoc @touchdownbrewery #ParkerPose #BeerLife #BeerLove .

I was here on a Wednesday and they had a great vibe, good brews and the best team. Liz and Ali were visiting from the Ballard location and helped make my experience warm and welcoming. If you get a chance to talk to Bear while he pours your beer, he is a wealth of knowledge! As an out of towner, I loved my experience here.

Google
Amazing selection, location and staff at Reuben’s Brews downtown. With such a great selection of beers with my special go to being the Rye. And after just one visit everyone knows my name. The special downtown debut Hazy IPA is simply amazing . Found my new home away from home❤️❤️

Google
Tried it yesterday the brews are solid, food is passable, the fries were good. The atmosphere good but service was horrible. The guy who helped me was a sour puss and unfriendly and if he’s part of the management team I hope you develop a personality or at least fake a smile. Not stepping on this establishment EVER

Yelp
We hit up Reuben's Brews for burgers and to watch the Mariners game, and it was packed. And yet, our food came out lickety-split. Honestly, the kitchen must be powered by caffeine and good vibes. If you have not been to Reuben's, you order at the counter and then go find a seat and they will buzz you when your order is ready. The ambience is a a lively Gastropub environment. They also have heated patio seating for those crisp, Seattle days. The beer and cider selection is a glorious buffet of bubbly happiness. The staff were great letting us sample a few, answering our questions, and clearly knowing their hops from their barley. We tried the Winter Melon Vibes cider (refreshing, crisp, and possibly the spa water of ciders) and the Pumpkin Stout Latte, which had a bold espresso kick with a creamy finish that could make a barista blush. Now onto the Smashburgers. Perfectly cooked and seasoned like someone whispered culinary secrets to the grill. The sauce tied it all together like a love letter to taste buds. And the fries, Oh Em Gee. I'd buy the seasoning by the shaker if they sold it. Crispy, golden, dangerously addictive. As for sports fans: this is your happy place. TVs everywhere, so no matter where you sit, you've got a front-row seat to whatever game has your heart (or breaks it, depending on how Seattle teams are making you feel that day.)

Yelp
Is ANYONE training customer service here? Terrible wait times for food. Line for beer out the door only 1 person behind the taps/pos. Zero acknowledgement of purchase/patronage. Why am I going to tip? Guess I need to bring a full group to be treated with any ounce of hospitality.

Yelp
First night in Seattle and we stopped by this location. 1. Drinks were good , they had tons of options and tons on NA drinks to select from too. 2. Food was GREAT! Got the smash burger, the chicken sandwich and the beer cheese fries to share. 10/10 for all 3 options. The sauce on the chicken sandwich was different... but in a good way! Spicy. But we like spicy. Smash burger was fresh and tasty AF. 3. Service was great. Took a little longer for the food to come out but it didn't bother us since the food was so good. 4. The game was on, people inside and out. Plenty of seating ! Over all glad we happened to walk by and give it a try. Would definitely come back!

Yelp
This is a nice, new quick-serve bar close to Pike Place Market. You order from a counter and seat yourself. They have a large selection of craft beers.

Yelp
Thank you to Derek & management!!! Our experience went from bad to fantastic immediately. Our food that was only a side dish was taking abnormally long, and we came to find out there was only one cook for a Seahawks home game. Staff was on this issue immediately. Derek was quick to not only get us a gift card for the inconvenience but ended up giving us a hoodie too! He was amazing! We will be back!

Yelp
Lots of seating indoors with some outdoor seating near the sidewalk. The place is decorated nicely and it feels really comfortable inside. They were playing great music. You order at the counter and it was not very organized as people were grouped and standing without committing to a specific line. The guy who took our order was not particularly friendly. My burger was delicious and my wife's chicken was just ok since there wasn't a whole lot of flavor. French fries were really good as well as my beer. My wife's mixed drink was lacking flavor though.

Yelp
My experience with booking for a large party wasn't easy. The online deposit payment system is new so it was not easy to get that taken care of. Even with that nightmare, it all worked out and the staff was nice and helpful, and I heard the food and drinks were good.

Yelp
Beers are ok. Service is rough. You order at the counter but it's difficult when there is one bartender handling someone taking an extended period of time ordering and then the other just standing on the side staring at you and not doing anything, would have liked to order another beer, just not a welcome feeling... I'll pass on the service provided here.

Yelp
Amazing Reuben sandwich, juicy meat, flavorful and the sauerkraut added a nice tang! Definitely fixes your craving for a good Reuben sandwich.

Yelp
Whoa so many amazing beers and Bear at the bar took care of us. Have no idea why the rating is low. Lies.

Yelp
As someone who goes into the office a few days a week, Reuben's is great addition to downtown. I'm not a beer drinker but loved everything I have eaten so far and their cocktail-inspired drinks are delicious!! And if you order a salad, get the fried chicken on top. Yummy! Oh and great patio.

Yelp
Fun place, solid beers, good fish and chips, and engaging servers. Gets busy early when the Sounders and/or Mariners are playing.

Yelp
Decentd beer selection, fast and not too busy of a spot at Sunday on a 6pm. Pager style, and pick up food at the window. Fish and chips were hot and ready. Crispy with no soggy oiliness

John W.

Yelp
Not only was the food horrible but I live in the building and when I asked if the order was mine the cook didn't have the time to get off his phone to talk to me. I will never order anything from this establishment again. Don't waste your time.

Yelp
Service here is non-existent. Stopped in for a light bite while touring the city and ordered soil and a soft pretzel. We waited for almost an hour for our food. They had so many people at the food delivery window asking where their food was. Nobody seemed to care about how slow the kitchen was.

Carl J B.

Yelp
Very good beer here. You order food and beer at the counter and my sandwich was also good. Lots of beer flights to chose from.

Yelp
So happy they opened a location downtown! Great selection of beers but I also like that they have options if you don't want a beer (like me). Would definitely recommend the cider and smash burger.

Yelp
Long time Seattleite, big fan of Reuben's. I frequent the Ballard location often - wearing a Reuben's hat as I write this. But, 5:30PM on a Sunday - no drinks for kids other than apple juice. Out of chicken sandwiches. It's not easy to wrangle my picky teenager to come here after a Sounders game, all I can promise is good food and drinks. Pretty disappointing this time (beer excluded).

Gabrielle A.

Yelp
Long story short, we never got food because it took over 2 hours. The groups around us waited an hour plus as well. The staff said the wait was because we "ordered earlier" so they knew there was a problem I guess? No apologies from staff or warnings. We arrived at 2 pm on a Saturday. Many open tables, less than half full. One couple ordered ahead of us. After we ordered our Reuben and chicken sandwich, another party came up complaining about a 40 min wait. We had time to kill and had already ordered so we decided to wait. 2 couples next to us were also waiting. Finally 1.5 hours in, the couple before us got their food. We were sure ours would be next....at the 2 hour mark after continuing to buy drinks from the establishment and seeing food coming out of the pick up window, we called it. We went and asked for a refund and the worker was warning groups that there was a 40 minute wait...when we said we've been waiting over 2 hours, the reply was "oh you must have ordered earlier" yeah, of course we did. 2 hours ago!!! So was there a problem in the kitchen and they didn't tell anyone? Who knows. Multiple groups around us were also waiting at least an hour plus so I would not recommend unless you have extensive time.

John B.

Yelp
Went for the Ballard FC final which they were supposed to be showing. There was no sound for the game and they had multiple streams that were 30 seconds apart. The workers couldn't care less when I brought that up. The beer was served in a plastic cup, the food was fine but grossly overpriced. I really enjoy Rueben's beer but they need some better staff here.

Andrew S.

Yelp
Can't really rate the food for this place considering that it took 2 over two hours to get a sandwich before we gave up. Beer was decent but not giving a warning when it was known upfront when we ordered that there was an issue of understaffing in the kitchen is ridiculous. I would avoid this place unless you have an entire evening to spend somewhere.

Robert M.

Yelp
Good Northwest vibe. The Reuban sandwich is the best ever, and the tap IPA's are world class. "Bear", our barkeep, was a beer expert and generous with samples. Fun (friendly) people watching. There was even good street parking!

Alisa C.

Yelp
Food was awful. Staff was friendly. It was the only place with an available table for dinner, now we know why.
