On the Grid : Re-Union

"The comfy factor is high at Re-Union. For early morning meetings, we recommend starting your day with their Scandinavian breakfast and a strong cup of coffee. Stop by for a coffee later in the day and enjoy a few minutes to yourself in this tranquil Williamsburg escape." - Krrb

The 15 Best Brunch Spots In Williamsburg

"Reunion looks like a coffee shop, but it’s actually an Israeli cafe that does breakfast and lunch every day. There’s some nice sidewalk seating when the weather is decent, and if you stop by on a Saturday, most of that seating will probably be occupied. Don't let the brunch crowds that deter you from putting your name in for a table. This is one of the best weekend-afternoon spots in the neighborhood, and the shakshuka is worth a little effort." - bryan kim, carina finn koeppicus, will hartman, sonal shah

Where To Eat Outside In Williamsburg

"The outdoor tables at this Israeli cafe are open from 9am-9pm every day, which means you can dip challah in shakshuka at breakfast, eat a lamb burger with tzatziki at lunch, or decide how to build your DIY Israeli bento box at dinner." - matt tervooren

Where To Eat After A Run In Williamsburg

"Walk by Reunion Cafe on a weekend morning, and you’ll see a bunch of people loitering around the entrance, waiting to get a table. This Israeli cafe is one of our favorite brunch spots in Williamsburg, but if you can’t make it for brunch, it’s great for lunch and dinner as well. Get a table on the front patio when it’s nice enough to eat outdoors, and be sure to eat some hummus, shawarma, or shakshuka, no matter what time of day it is." - bryan kim

Where To Get Food Near McCarren Park

"If you figure out a way to get eggs and pancakes in the park, please teach us. In the meantime, the next-best option is eating brunch at Reunion a couple blocks away. This Israeli cafe serves breakfast options like avocado toast and shakshuka, as well as heavier dishes like chicken shawarma and a schnitzel sandwich. Ask for one of the outdoor tables, and if there’s a wait, grab a coffee and walk around the McCarren Park Greenmarket down the block." - matt tervooren

I stopped by for a late lunch on the weekend and really enjoyed the experience. The space is filled with greenery and has a stylish interior, which made waiting for our meal pleasant even before the food arrived. The staff were friendly, and we ordered beer and wine, plus the shakshuka and market bowl on the staff’s recommendation. Every dish was delicious, and I left happy and satisfied! Would definitely come back for another meal.

Google
It's cozy. Very busy, should get a reservation if coming on the weekend. Kid friendly. We had the chicken sandwich, Israeli salad with grilled chicken, and fresh baked challah. Food came out quick, friendly service. Will definitely come back.

A beautiful spot with a warm and caring staff that made us feel truly welcome. We had the Reunion Breakfast and the Malavach — both were absolutely delicious, made with high-quality ingredients and presented nicely. The portions were generous, perfect for a satisfying brunch, and the prices were very reasonable. The ambiance was cozy and inviting, adding to the overall great experience. Take a look at my photos — today we truly lived our best lives! Thank you for such a memorable visit!

Google
Very authentic food. You can tell a lot of locals come here on a regular for their food. Food is good with a decent size to price ratio. Ordered soup of the day, pancakes and avocado toast. They are all pretty good. You have to ask what the soup of the day is, they change every week, and the pancake aren't the fluffiest. The vibe is friendly from the staff to the customer. Only problem is it is a bit cramped so tables are really close to each other to the point that it's hard to stand up without disrupting the table next to you. Great decor with bright natural light.

I recently visited Reunion in New York, and it was a fantastic experience. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, perfect for starting your day on a positive note. I tried their Reunion Breakfast, which was a true highlight. The dish was beautifully presented and packed with fresh, flavorful ingredients. Every bite felt thoughtfully prepared, blending textures and flavors perfectly. The staff was friendly and attentive, adding to the overall pleasant vibe of the restaurant. Whether you’re a local or just visiting, Reunion is definitely worth checking out if you’re in the mood for a great breakfast. I’ll be back to try more of their menu!

Google
The waiter allowed me to come inside 10 minutes before they opened, which was a very welcoming and pleasant experience because it was really cold outside. I ordered a Mocha and Hummus for breakfast, everything was absolutely delicious and amazing.

Google
Awesome design, very clean, lovely daylight inside, the service was pleasant as always - it’s my go-to restaurant!!! 6/7/25 - Just wanted to add a good word about our waitress Paulina - so kind, attentive, professional - best service we’ve got in many years! All of us noticed it to the point we mentioned how refreshing this is 🤜🤛

Google
$18 for this tiny avocado toast. I couldn’t believe my eyes when they bought it out. Add tax and tip and this was about $23. There are SO many better places in the neighbourhood, save your money!!

Yelp
Came here around 2 PM, very very hungry and simply wanted to eat anything. Overall, I would say this place is good and has a quirky vibe, but the prices don't really align for what you are getting. It took around 30 minutes to get seated without a reservation (not bad considering other places were not seating anymore). We were recommended the Malawach and Breakfast pita to order. The pita was really good and flavorful, but the Malawach was very simple and left me wanting more. The feta dip it came with was very bland and light and I felt there should've been 2 eggs for the amount of bread. I would recommend the breakfast pita instead.

Yelp
So by the time I had this, I had just checked out of my hotel; however, that was not before I made my decision to actually go eat there. Yeah, it was a last minute decision, who cares? Well I probably should have. Why? This place gets so much business and gets so crowded, you will actually be asked upon entering if you've made a reservation to come here! Yeah, me being the totally smart idiot I am did not do this. Lucky for me, I was still able to squeeze into an opening and was still able to be waited on, so we can begin the review in earnest. And by the way, the service here is phenomenal! The employees are nice and very helpful! But yeah, before you come here, MAKE A RESERVATION! You need it! So it took a moment for me to decide what I had wanted for my brunch, but I was able to start off with a cappuccino, and you get a pitcher to pour water into a smaller glass. The way the cappuccinos are served to you by the way is artistic in such a way that you can see a heart to top off your drink. That's how you know they make their coffees and the like with love. So this delightful place specializes in Israeli food which is a nice touch I had not thought about trying when I arrived in Brooklyn the night before. But for brunch, this will hit the spot. So when deciding what to order, I almost went with the pancakes, but as I looked more at my menu, I had noticed another choice begin to emerge that caught my eye: the breakfast pita which has scrambled eggs, bacon, and topped with harissa aioli. Bacon is like the most perfect side EVAR when it comes to breakfast and goes great on a lot of things. The harissa aioli also drew me in because I happen to love aioli as a condiment. Fun fact, I actually use garlic aioli and not mayonnaise or ketchup when I cook a Philly cheesesteak! That's how much you can convince me to try your item if it has a good aioli as its condiment! So yeah, that's what I went with, and might I say, that was absolutely scrumptious! I normally don't even eat egg, but even the egg here was good. Oh, I would also like to let y'all in on something about my experience here that just absolutely made my mouth water. So at a table next to the one I was at, a man there was served this dish that looked to be in some kind of a pan. I actually remarked to him "THAT looks good", and he mentioned that next time I come here, I should order this. The dish I am talking about here is their Shakshuka, and it actually looked good enough that I kind of got jealous of his dish! And apparently, it's one of their best menu items. Okay, that does it! If I ever have brunch in Brooklyn again and get around to making that darn reservation, I'm getting that!

Yelp
I went here for a Sunday girls' brunch and was disappointed. I had the incredible shawarma with a side of pita, and my friends had the shakshuka, breakfast pita, and pancakes. The food was good, but overall, we had a bad experience. The waitstaff wasn't very friendly, and we felt rushed from the moment we sat down. They came over immediately to ask for our drink order before we even had a chance to look at the menu. They tried to take my friend's mimosa away before she was done with it and put down our check as soon as we finished eating. They also cleared our water cups before we got up to leave, even though there was no one waiting for a table. *Additionally, they charge a 3% fee when using a credit card to pay the bill.

Yelp
I ordered the lamb kabob and for dessert I had the Turkish baclava. I love the Williamsburg NYC vibe of this place. And of course the reference to foods you might find in a restaurant in Tel Aviv. Service was quite good. I sat outside there is a very spacious area for outside table dining with great Williamsburg people watching.

Yelp
Too expensive for what it is. Food was good though, reminds me of food in Israel. Dishes: 1) Shakshuka ($20): nice amt of spicy. The highlight was the challah, one of the best I've ever had. 2) Breakfast Pita ($16): just a regular breakie Sandi in a pita bread (eggs, bacon, avocado) 3) Side of Crispy Potatoes ($8): got 8 big wedges with aioli. It was very good with the perfect amount of crisp w/minimal oil. It is expensive for what it is. 3) Lahma'ajun ($21): on gluten free bread: very good, would come back for this Service: The waiter was a little TOO intense though. We had minimal time to choose what to order and being questioned/judged for requesting condiments. Logistics: -accepts cc -indoor and outdoor seating

Yelp
I was so happy to make it to Reunion for brunch on a sunday morning. I made a reservation (highly recommend since it is a small space) and the food and staff were lovely. The scrambled eggs were delish and I will definitely be returning for dinner!

Yelp
Brunch was great in this bright and cozy spot. Our server was an absolute delight! I got the bread w soft boiled egg and it was perfect. Light, slightly sweet bread that you pull apart to dip into the tomato and yogurt sauce. We also got the pancakes. They were not a standout but solid. Our drinks were great. Overall very happy and would return in the future.

Yelp
It's a small but quaint space. It's super busy to getting a reservation ahead of time is wise. Or be willing to wait and the host will get you a seat. Went for brunch and the food was delicious. Really high quality and flavorful.

Yelp
Had a lovely dinner sitting outside here. The menu has plenty of options without being overwhelming. For two people we split the: fried halloumi, beet hummus, Israeli salad, and kebab and rice. Everything was amazing, I especially loved the spicy honey dip the halloumi was served with. The Israeli salad was refreshing and delicious. The bill came out to around $90 pre-tip which is typical for places like this in the area and my bf and I were so full by the time we left. Our server was attentive and the food came out in ample time. I highly recommend!

Yelp
Between this and Shalom Japan, Jews in Brooklyn can now rejoice in embracing multiple cuisines, and their roots, without compromising much of what us Jews (yes, I am lumping me in here) enjoy, food! Stopping in here on a quiet morning allowed me the flexibility to enjoy two dishes quite blissfully. The menu options offer an eclectic array of Israeli dishes that I know all too well, and combine it a little with some American flair. This is probably why all the food tastes as light, fresh, and refreshing as it gets. I started with the Shakshouka and knowing how it can par up with the Shakshouka in Israel, this would be a tough task. No worries, it is delicious. The eggs mellow out a delightfully spicy tomato sauce and you get a beautiful challah loaf for dipping, but do not discount it as a side. It is flaky and buttery and tastes decent on its own. This dish does need a meat, and the Merguez sausage is the perfect accent to it. Light but flavorful, savory but not overly salty. Two little links of this makes this whole dish a solid four and a half stars out of a possible five. I decided to double up and get the pancake as well. It is more a cake than a pancake, if that makes sense, but it is cooked light, fluffy, and accented by the right fruits. Bananas and blackberries are the correct call. Raspberries and strawberries would make the cake too tart. These keep the pancake sweet but not too sweet to the point it will make it too decadent. I did without the butter though, but put a bit of syrup on them to see how it would turn out. It did just fine. Sadly this dish needs a bit of what I call a performance enhancer or it does taste a bit dry. I award this dish three and half stars out of five. They also offer various drinks; I got a lemonade which had the perfect tart to sweet ratio. I also got a Jerusalem bagel and a blueberry scone to take home for later. These will not have impact on the overall rating as the three things I did eat more than make up for it. The service is also real cute and friendly as my server was super bubbly and the barista behind the counter was very cute, in a northern Brooklyn kind of way. In a surprising twist of fate, I discovered this restaurant is right across the street from Bamonte's, an Italian restaurant I am hoping to try. As a result, I will be back in the area soon. Between this and Shalom Japan, I am rejoicing and thrilled to find the foods I hold near and dear to me, now I will hold near and close.

Yelp
We had a really fantastic brunch at Moabet because there weren't tables available at Reunion and the hostess encouraged us to head to Moabet where they were holding brunch and taking walkins. Everyone was really nice, though very busy. The food was really excellent. The pancakes, Yemen fried bread and breakfast sandwich were especially good.

Yelp
Went here to have dinner with some friends, and while the food was alright I was not too thrilled how the waiter did not know the majority of what was in the dishes nor did the "chef" apparently which made me uneasy. I really enjoyed their Labneh it probably was one of the favorites I had in awhile. The sauce for the Lamb Arais was too salty, and since we ordered a few of them, it was the same result for everyone... too salty! The drinks were also very pricy and overall expensive place. For once I can say I can get cheaper in Manhattan the same exact food. I was torn between two or three stars but that perfect Labneh is what really made me super happy to bump it to 3 stars.

Yelp
This is one of my go-to restaurants for brunch in Brooklyn. The food is delicious and I love trying the different items on the menu! I got the breakfast pita today and the harissa aioli added the perfect amount of flavor to the dish. I sat inside because I liked the ambiance, but they have plenty of outdoor seating as well. The servers are all very friendly and the food comes out fairly quick!

Yelp
Came to Reunion for brunch one weekend. The vibes of the restaurant are nice but it is popular and very crowded during the weekends. I ordered the Shakshuka and hummus. Both were solid but nothing out of the ordinary for the price. Thus, 4/5 overall.
google avatar

Alice A.

Yelp
A hidden gem! Being able to have lunch outside in Brooklyn is wonderful, but with an incredible israeli meal it truly makes for the perfect experience. The hummus, the Incredible Shawarma and the isreali salat were very tasty but what we loved above all was the Schnitzel Sandwich. The servers were very kind and overall we had a very good experience.
google avatar

Yelp
Found this place on yelp and had to try it for myself. It had a bit of a wait time but we walked around the area which killed some time. The place is pretty small, and I felt a little squeezed. The service was quick and the food was so good! The breakfast pita hit the spot. It was my first time trying labneh, and I will never not get it. It was a really good food spot, despite being squished a bit inside
google avatar

Yelp
I always get nervous at the prospect of brunch in Brooklyn without a reservation but this was the perfect choice- we were seated almost immediately around 10:30 on a Sunday. The restaurant was bustling and it has the bright, cheerful, and busy atmosphere of a Sunday brunch. Value is GREAT. The Middle Eastern ingredients make for a very welcome angle on brunch and we left super full and happy!
google avatar

Yelp
Wow! what a great place! Saturday, brunch was amazing. Met up with some people and we all ordered food. That was awesome. We shared a special they had homemade nachos that were really yummy. We use that as an appetizer. Coffee was awesome. The pancake And egg sandwich are much better than your run-of-the-mill, pancake and egg sandwich that you would find elsewhere. The shasuka was very good. And I tried for the first time -makawach. YUM. They had a DJ playing music outside that started half way though our time there. (we got there at 10:30 am) There's such a great vibe. The owner of the restaurant walked around checking on everyone. i love the attention to details and great energy. i will definitely be back.

Yelp
Cozy ambiance for dinner and friendly service. There was no wait and really no other customers on a Monday night. We ordered 4 dishes for 3 people. Each dish was good but nothing too memorable. The fried halloumi paired well with the spicy honey. The incredible shawarma was good but paying more for a swipe of hummus is a bit much. It looked nice presentation-wise but there wasn't a lot of it. The harissa cauliflower was quite good. The matbucha was good but the challah was underwhelming. Overall it was fine. Maybe I'll be back for a brunch visit.
google avatar

Dalena H.

Yelp
Came here for brunch. Good outdoor seating if you want to bring your fur child. We ordered the shakshuka, shawarma, and a side salad. Everything came out quick. I enjoyed all the dishes. It was very flavorful. The shakshuka was very good with the bread it came with. The egg was cooked perfectly. I'm used to shawarma inside a pita but the dish was still good. I ate it with the salad instead. The salad was simple and fresh. It was a filling well balance meal that didn't leave me lethargic after.

Yelp
What a noisy, vivacious little spot. Just came back from a lovely friends' reunion at Reunion. This spot was picked out by my friend and I was not disappointed. We 3 were seated immediately and a moment later had menus and water. Had the hummus, malawach, and Israeli salad. Everything was fresh and delish. Small cocktails menu, but, I did not imbibe. We'd love to be back!

Yelp
This review is for weekend brunch. Came with three people at 11am and was able to beat the crowd and get seated right away. The restaurant is pretty small - by the time we left there was definitely a wait. I live around the area and will definitely be back. Ordered the below: -Chai: delicious. -Reunion Breakfast (added bacon): pretty standard, but it was what I was craving. It definitely hit the spot. Though, I do wish it just came with meat. -Inna's Pancakes: loved. Would come back for this. We split amongst the 3 of us and it was perfect. Slightly crispy outside and soft in the middle. -Lahmajun: I did not try this but the person liked. -Incredible Shawarma: I did not try this but the person liked.

Yelp
Friendly service and what seemed like a great menu but the food was underwhelming. Price point is fine but extremely small and congested space.

Yelp
Great food and excellent cocktails! The owner was friendly and recommended a great passionfruit martini that was very delicious. Crispy falafels and tasty homemade sauces. Highly recommend!

Yelp
I stopped by here for brunch with a couple of friends and was pleasantly surprised! We all ordered different things (shakshuka, reunion breakfast, breakfast pita) and shared the labneh. Everything we had was delicious!! Super flavorful and filling. The best was the breakfast pita - definitely a must order. We wanted to get the pancakes as well but it was sold out by the time we ordered...so I'll need to go back to try out their pancakes. Service was quick and attentive. They have plenty of seats inside and outside - not sure what the wait is like without reservations though. Overall, would recommend Reunion!! (plus they're gluten-free friendly!)

Yelp
Food is good, service meh. I've been for brunch and dinner. Brunch experience was great! It's a cute spot and the food was fresh and tasty. I came back recently for dinner was disappointed. There was an issue with our reservation and our table wasn't going to be ready until 20 minutes after it was scheduled. We were told to head outside and find somewhere else to keep warm until our table would be ready. Normally, I wouldn't find that a big deal, but it was 20 degrees out that night! The staff were mildly apologetic but didn't offer anything to make up for the inconvenience when we got back. For a place of the standard Reunion strives for, I'd expect more. It's a spot worth checking out, maybe when it's warmer out?

Yelp
Beautiful space with outdoor seating. Shakshuka was delicious. Super fresh with fluffy challah. Friendly staff.

Yelp
Ambiance (4/5): The establishment has a lovely décor in their indoor dining area. There is also an outdoor dining option. The restaurant has medium lighting and noise levels. The tables however are very tight to each other. We set a reservation at 7pm and the establishment was only about a third full on a Tuesday. Service (4/5): I thought the service was great with 2 wait staff and multiple busboys. I felt like our orders and food arrived at a reasonable timeframe. The cocktail took forever to arrive and came after the appetizer was served. Birthright (2/5): I liked that there was a splattering of options in the mezze platter but most were just meh. The Matbouch I would recommend and actually order on its own! In order of favorite to least favorite: 1. Matbouch - aka Matbucha, cooked tomatoes and roasted bell peppers seasoned with garlic and chili pepper 2. Hummus - pureed chickpeas 3. Labne - Greek yogurt w/ olive oil 4. I think we accidentally got a small dish of the New Age Baba (smoked eggplant) instead of the Zhoug which is supposed to be green (green peppers, cilantro, chilis) Incredible Shawarma (4/5) - The tahini sauce was creamy and blended well with the chicken thigh pieces which was moist and flavored with a slew of spices. The cabbage provided a nice texture to the bite. However, the volume of the dish is mostly supplemented from the thick cut fries. FYI amba is typically made of pickled green mangoes, vinegar, salt, turmeric, chili and fenugreek.

Yelp
Small but cute Israeli restaurant. The holiday margarita was fine, not super sweet which I liked. Nice staff. Hard seats, but I'm a snob about seat comfort. Israeli salad was very good, the fried chicken schnitzel was okay, not a ton of flavor, but the challah was good. My friend got a mocha and a couple of others things she enjoyed.

Yelp
Excellent atmosphere, delicious food, very good service. Thank you Camron & Inna. Will definitely recommend and will come back to try other dishes.

Yelp
Food: Great clean and wholesome food! Came here to enjoy some boozy brunch. Ordered the Lamb shakshuka + latte followed by baklava + old fashioned reunion(?). Everything was delicious and the drinks on point! I truly enjoyed the presentation of the shakshuka with a whole mini loaf of challah! Cost: The dishes here was a little more expensive than usual in my opinion but still good enough for a treat once in awhile! Environment: The restaurant is small and quaint- gives off a cozy vibe. The place was decorated with unique knickknacks and my friend even ended up buying a cute cap from here as well! Service: Great service, they were attentive and I did not feel rushed or needed to really flag anyone down for anything. The times we were checked on felt very natural and well timed. Uniqueness: Always wanted to go visit Tel Aviv and noting that the owners came from there and brought along with them the delicious Israeli cuisine from their hometown just makes this place even more special!

Yelp
overpriced and average food. Too many other good options in the neighborhood to go again. Merguez was good, but once again better options.
google avatar

Rainey C.

Yelp
So so good!! Definitely want to come back and try other dishes. We got the Shakshuka and the Incredible Shawarma and both were amazing. The tahini in the Shawarma is pretty strong and heavy, but it goes well with the pita. The Challah bread for the Shakshuka is nice and fluffy and light. We walked in without a reservation and were seated quickly.
google avatar

Yelp
Great summer reprieve from hot humid New York especially in the morning. I had a dirty chai latte which was great. Labneh was on point and I wish we had more pita, to sop it all up. I loved the lamb sausages. The server was super attentive which was greatly appreciated since it was a smaller space, and we had multiple dishes coming out.

Yelp
Came to Reunion for a quick brunch on a busy and warm Sunday afternoon and was pleasantly surprised to find a table available. Menu had all the essentials for brunch and service was excellent and friendly. Would definitely recommend as a place for brunch if you're nearby!
google avatar

Yelp
Friend's recommendation really did not miss! I'm now a huge fan of their lunch menu. Got the pitas, shashuka & their incredible shawarma. Indoor spacing is cozy but outdoor seating on a sunny afternoon sealed the deal. Loved everything: the sweetest servers & hosts, quality food, and great vibes. All 3 are hard to come by altogether, so shoutout to Reunion for serving a standout lunch experience!

Yelp
We stopped in today for brunch around 10:30am. Today was Reunion's 9th birthday, so they threw a little party with music and "I'm 9 Bro" t-shirts. It was so cute! To eat, we started off with some nachos that come seasoned with pico de gallo, avocado, and feta and cheddar cheese. These were an absolute flavor bomb of goodness. Highly recommend. To eat, I ordered Inna's Pancakes. These are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. They were magnificent, I would come back just for them. It was a nice surprise when Inna, herself, stopped by to greet our table and I was able to tell her how great her pancakes are. I got to try my friend's Shakshuka which was delicious as well! It comes out literally boiling so exercise caution before digging in! I also got to try a piece of the Malawach with yogurt and hard boiled egg, this was great too! My other friend enjoyed his Breakfast Pita. It started getting pretty busy around 12. So word to the wise, get here on the earlier side if you want to beat the crowd. Our reunion at Reunion was a huge success. I'll definitely return soon!

Yelp
Dropped by Reunion last night for a last minute dinner and to say I was highly impressed would be an understatement. Ordered the following: Lamb Arais: (5/5) This grilled pocket of perfectly cooked lamb with all the right flavors was the star of the show. The pita was juicy and crispy from the lamb cooked inside, and the lamb itself was tender and flavorful. This is easily one of the top dishes I've tried in New York and that is saying a lot! Chicken Shawarma: (5/5) The chicken was tender and the flavors of the sauce, seasoning, pickle and chili perfectly balanced. Good portion and goes well with a side of pita. Side of pita: (5/5) Super soft and served warm. What's not to like about it! Nothing failed to impress here. What an absolute gem!

Yelp
Very rarely do I find a place that does everything right and I have to admit... Reunion does everything right. On a Saturday afternoon, my partner and I were able to walk in and get seated immediately. The waitress had a very welcoming aura and provided us with beautiful menu booklets. The cover for the menu is what I assume to be buildings in Tel Aviv and everything sounded appetizing. We took our waitress' recommendations and opted for the hummus, sabich, incredible shwarma chardonnay white wine, and an off-menu gin and juice cocktail. We ordered a bowl of yogurt and granola and malebi ice cream in addition to her recommendations. I've had some great hummus in my time and I have to say that Reunion's hummus makes the top of the list. The consistency and taste with the accompanying warm and soft pita bread is perfect. I usually don't go for too much pita to save room for other food but we couldn't help getting another basket (in addition to the pita served with the sabich!). The sabich is surprisingly light despite the fact that the eggplant is fried. Mixed with the sauces at the bottom of the plate, fresh herbs, spicy peppers, and pita. This is a delicious and solid main. The yogurt & granola was a sweet relief to the savory sides and mains we ordered. The granola included fresh strawberries and bananas, a little honey, and nuts for texture. Very tasty. The portion is definitely hefty and matches the 15 dollar price tag. My partner and I were glad that the incredible shwarma only included the chicken. The chicken is nicely seasoned, tender, and fragrant from the mix of herbs and red cabbage on top. Since the plate is only chicken, it makes the dish easier to share amongst multiple people. And since everything we had was so delicious, even though my partner and I were really full, we were determined to try the malebi ice cream. And no surprise, the ice cream was super flavorful, fragrant, and refreshing. The strawberry rose syrup mixed with the rosewater ice cream and topped with pistachios is the perfect end to the meal. The best part? They make the syrup and the ice cream with their own in house recipe! In addition to all the food being perfect, the service is phenomenal. All the waiters and waitresses are friendly, personable and very knowledgable about the menu. The bus boy is quick and consistent and could also answer questions about the menu. When my partner dropped his fork by accident, the waiter was very attentive and replaced my partner's fork in seconds without my partner asking. Front of house definitely knows what they're doing. Everything about Reunion is meticulously thought out from the food, to the service, to the beautiful menu covers and the decoration of the restaurant. There is no doubt I will be back to try more from the menu.

Yelp
This is such a cozy brunch spot! This is a great place to take your kids or family visiting from out of town but the reservations can be hard to grab. So book in advance. The food is so incredible, the bread is so fresh and the hummus and falafel you can tell is home made. All in all have been trying to go back for a while but have not been able to grab a reservation. You can walk up but the wait may be long. But you can no go wring with anything you order!

Yelp
I had seen this place while walking around, but did not know they also had a brunch menu! While browsing for somewhere to eat with friends on a Sunday, my friend came across this place and we decided to give it a shot. Gave them a ring to see how long the wait would be, we ran over, and were sat about 5 minutes after. Inside it is really packed and loud with all the people talking, so hearing what people were saying was a bit difficult. Our waitress was lovely and quick to get our orders in, but did take a bit of time to actually get our food. On my end, I got a chai latter with oat milk (delicious), and the malawach. First time trying Israeli food and I was definitely surprised and satisfied. The Malawach was very yummy, not what I was expecting, but very good nonetheless. I dont think I ate it correctly, but truly enjoyed it. One of my friends got the Shakshuka and gave me a piece to try and I loved it! Another one got the breakfast pita and it looked exquisite. Overall, enjoyed the food a lot! Will definitely come back but maybe opt out to sit outside (if the weather permits) as I think it will be less noisy!

Yelp
The food was absolutely perfect, and the service was exceptional. It had been eight years since my last visit, and despite living on the West Coast, this place remained just as incredible as I remembered. It did not disappoint--I'm a lifelong fan!

Yelp
We came here to try the happy hour as we waited for our reservations at another spot. It was soo good I wish we were having dinner here. We had the aperol spritz, which were 10 dollars for happy hour. What really wowed me was the 2 mezze we had for 20 dollars. We had the falafel and the labneh. The falafel was excellent, but my favorite part was the Tahini sauce under it which may have been the best ive ever had. The labneh was fantastic. It was mixed with excellent olive oil and tomato water. Freshly made pita bread was perfect for dipping. I will definitely come back to try the rest of the menu. Also, service was excellent and always a plus when the server checks if you need anything else before happy hour ends.

Yelp
We stopped by for breakfast because I was craving shakshuka and I'm so glad we did because it was delicious, I ate the entire thing! We also got the breakfast pita and the aoli sauce is a must. For drinks we got some lattes. The service was quick and friendly. The overall vibes were great and I would definitely return.

Yelp
Delicious lunch in Williamsburg! Ordered the falafel appetizer and incredible chicken shawarma, both were so full of flavor! The shawarma has a little spice to it, so good! Also had a refreshing cucumber spritz cause we sat outside, they brought water for our dog too. Staff was super friendly and attentive!

Yelp
THE BEST SHAKSHUKA. Wanted a very hearty breakfast and Reunion did not disappoint. I was in a MOOD and was feeling shakshuka so I made the trek from Manhattan to this spot in Williamsburg and was NOT disappointed at all. I was so freaking pleased I wanted to lick the plate clean. The only two things I'll critique is 1) the shakshuka came out boiling so take a significant amount of time letting it cook down and 2) the challah was not the best.

Yelp
They do not take reservations for weekend brunch. We came around 12:45 pm and waited around 40-45 minutes for a table for five outside. Outdoor dining has definitely tripled how many customers the restaurant can serve as the interior is a small square box with limited seating options. We each got some form of caffeine and split a 32 oz pomegranate mimosa. The drinks were great! We decided to share some apps and entrees. Apps: 1) Labneh - it was ok. I feel like I've had better. 2) Halloumi - can never go wrong with fried cheese. It came with a side of honey that was a great addition. Plates: 1) Israeli salad - So refreshing and good! I would definitely get again. 2) Chicken Schwarma - The most delicious chicken schwarma I've ever had in my life. I would order this again and again to dine in or to take out. 3) lahma a Jun - The taste was there, however, it did get a little soggy. 4) Yemenite pancake - Very good! I felt like it was missing something, though not in the taste department, but the substance. 5) Shashuka - The challah wasn't as good as I wanted it to be. Unclear if it's made in house. Hard to really live up to challahs from Michaelis bakery! The shashuka was tasty, however, it was my fault for ordering it not realizing that half the party suffers from pretty bad acid reflux. Overall, I would brunch here again.

Yelp
A stunner. We came for happy hour and ordered almost the entire HH menu because everything just tasted so good. I'm obsessed with the matbucha and can easily eat two plates of that and pita. We gave the other small plates a try for good measure but I'd stick to matbucha and hummus on the next go. Also gave the eggplant ravioli a try because the HH plates wowed me. It might've just been that I was fixated on the goodness of matbucha and really just wanted everything there on to be covered in it, but I wasn't a fan of the tomato sauce-less, Parmesan take on the ravioli. The drinks are also really good and service pleasant. Snagged outdoor seating but the ambiance inside looked warm and inviting. Will absolutely return.
