Everything turned out great! We had our ceremony and reception at Revel. Brittiany and her crew were amazing. Our rehearsal and wedding day went well. They were able to flip the room and it was absolutely beautiful 🤩

A cool spot to take in a show. The staff was friendly and helpful as well as the venue being beautiful. If you get the chance to take in a show here, you really should. I think you’ll enjoy it, like I did.

There is truly not enough words to express how special Revel GVL made our wedding experience! The grounds, the people, the area, are all just a few aspects that made our wedding day what it was. Brittiany was so helpful and was there to guide us if we needed, and answer all of our questions! The bar was immaculate with one of the best bartenders- Shea! They made everything so smooth and easy!

Was part of a wedding here this past weekend. The space is well laid out and can easily handle well over 100 people. Parking is a breeze and bars, bathrooms, staff were plentiful. Would absolutely recommend this place for a wedding.

If you're looking for a gorgeous rustic venue for a wedding and reception or other gathering, Revel is great! The only reason for the 4 star rating is because the inside of the venue is absolutely gorgeous (ther rating is for the venue not the people). They have a whiskey bar area that is perfect for cocktail hour, a Grande Ballroom for your event which also has a bar, an adorable bridal suite for the girls to get ready, a nice little outdoor area for smokers to step out, a small loft area overlooking the ballroom and a few great spots for beautiful photos. There is not a dressing area for the men. We had a DJ but I believe they have a sound system that you could plug an ipod or something into. We used a caterer bc they were just getting their own chef hired and couldn't seem to get me a menu or pricing in a timely fashion, but they should have their own chef by now. They also have a gorgeous private bowling alley that also has a rustic feel around the back that you can rent out or just go to any time. The downside, a few things. If you're planning a wedding, don't expect the sales people to be very helpful with event planning. They told us several things that they forgot promising to us, they didn't tell us a lot of things that we didn't realize we even needed to ask until last minute, and although they remained nice no matter how upset we got, they didn't do a good job of making the process stress free. The other downside is that the outside of the building isn't very attractive, the sidewalk is all busted up and the side of the building says *Bowling* so I almost didn't even want to go inside, but I'm glad I did because the inside was absolutely perfect for our rustic theme.

I had my wedding here in October. I booked 10 months in advance. Every meeting I had with the associates was easy and professional. I knew exactly what to expect and what was expected of me. The staff is very kind and easy to work with. I can’t say enough about the staff. The new director Alex Smolka is dedicated to quality and did an amazing job executing my event. He has clearly turned Revel into one of the lead venues in all of Greenville. All of the guests commented on how the room was set up and how well equipped the space was. Larkin’s catered my event and I couldn’t be more pleased. The presentation was beautiful and so was the food. The only thing better than that was that it tasted better than it looked. The venue itself is gorgeous and there was no need to spend a ton of money on decor. Getting married downtown can be crazy but Revel has it all figured out. Plenty of on-sight parking. Guests with special needs can be dropped at the door. Plenty of restroom stalls so no lines there. My wedding was seamless and my guests can’t stop talking about it. They say it was the best wedding they have ever been too. Thank you Alex Smolka and Revel for making it a magical evening we will cherish forever.

Revel is a rustic venue with a bar and a stage area. The venue is reasonably large. We did a Scottish Country Dance demonstration as part of (Robbie) Burns Night Upstate. Last year the event was at another venue downtown. In my opinion, this facility was better for this event.

Brittiany, Barbara and the entire crew at Revel are the absolute greatest! We chose revel for our wedding and we are so thankful we did! (Side note use their on site catering company the food was incredible!!) they were so so helpful and friendly they really made our whole night!! Thanks again!

The venue is absolutely gorgeous - one of a kind feel for Greenville! Their staff went above and beyond to ensure that our family had an incredible event! I would highly recommend!

We just had my daughters wedding reception at Revel. We couldn't have asked for better folks to work with! Absolutely a perfect night! Our guests have had nothing but positive things to say about the venue! Thank you!! Margarette Carter

very nice renovations to the Handlebar building , and likely functions well as an event center, as long as the event isn't a music concert. The sound was not good, but worse than that - at least half the audience talked louder than the music for the whole show. This is certainly not a listening room

Revel is a beautiful event venue. Lisa and Howard had an amazing vision for this space and have succeeded in carrying out their vision. Our daughter's wedding, their first wedding, was amazing. Thanks to Lisa and Howard for diligently working in preparation and hands on during the event to show their commitment to making Revel a top notch event venue in Greenville. Again, Thanks to Lisa and Howard's kind, humble, and genuinely caring approach to event planning.

Lauren was very patient and accommodating with our changing needs. We held a rehearsal dinner in the Whiskey Lounge area for about 40 people (4 children under 3). She suggested a mixture of high-top and 8- top tables. We set up a couple of activity areas with a Giant Jenga game and a puzzle, also. There was plenty of space, yet felt intimate. There is also an outdoor patio we could have used for no additional charge, but it is separated from the space and so we decided against it. Lauren helped us coordinate with the caterer (you have to use theirs) and the food was quite good. My son was able to have a tasting before deciding. We settled on a BBQ theme, which worked quite well with the causal rustic atmosphere and also juxtaposed nicely with the formal reception the next night. The staff was very attentive and pleasant to work with. We did not use the big space, which also looks lovely, but is for much larger group and would work well for a more formal occasion. Parking is available but is a bit tricky to enter, so scope it out beforehand to help your guests arrive easily; signage could be improved. A great evening!
