Great place, we have been there some times, we already love it

Revel Revel hosted our residency graduation and I could not have been happier with the party! It was a private space with wonderful natural lighting. The venue provided all the tables, chairs, AV equipment, and even put out our desserts (provided by outside bakery) for us! Sam was so easy to work with and very helpful with all the planning and details. The space is beautiful and fit all our guests comfortably. I received rave reviews from the guest about the space. 10/10 would have another party here. The only thing I wish was different was the bar - would have preferred that instead of drink tickets ($14 for any drink), drinks were priced based on the beverage which could have made our hosted bar go a little further. Otherwise, had a great time.

Great venue! Perfect location and the GasLight Tavern downstairs was excellent for breaks and after event socializing!

The Haunted Tavern event was a lot of fun!! I highly recommend it.

We had a school banquet at this venue and it was amazing! The appetizers were good and the venue layout/design was perfect for our event. Thank you Samantha for being so flexible and helpful! I would truly recommend this place to anyone else!

My first time coming here was because of the Mimosa crawl, I was NOT impressed! They ran out of the tshirts we paid for,the DJ still wasn’t set up after 2.5 hours after the event started,& the drinks were watered down,Casablanca was next on the list& they made the event worth attending, music& drinks were on point! Never coming back to Revel Revel again!

Love playing at this Venue! Sam is such a great manager and is always open to help or give you information if you ask her about anything there!

We decided to stop by since it was close to our hotel. Great service bartenders were very attentive and the wings were very tasty (compliments to the chef). Fresh veggies with our wings and good beers.

This place was fun. Didn't see too many people dancing. Twas more like a standing lounge. Lots of people standing around, chatting, people watching (i know i was). PARKING: UBER IT! There are about , mmmm, 5 spots total for people to try to find lol. Jk. Look, it's busy ALL over the gas lamp district so parking is a rare commodity. Try if you must. THE PLACE: don't be fooled by the bar downstairs. Revel Revel entrance is actually hidden. You must enter through what seems like a side door, go up stairs, pass the restrooms, and on up to the top. There's one bar, one dj, and there were SEXY drags too! What i really thought was convenient was the water dispensers right next to the bar. MUSIC: I don't go out much, but this place plays, what i would call maybe edm music.

BAD SERVERS/bartenders, actually non-existent service. THE BAR-BACK was amazing, he was the only person willing to preform any customer service hE SHOULD be the bartender. Bad food Bad wine, bad drinks Bad prices. Bad attitude Bad vibe One of the worst in San Diego. Don't go here, do yourself a favor, and go a few steps in either direction to find better places. The Field a block away has better food and better service. ANYWHERE in gas lamp is better than this place. Slow service, I was going to give it 2 stars, only for location and nice sized TVs. Playing sports. THEN I met the male bartender, who was very inconvenienced the bar back had to get him. His attitude is better suited for working at high security prison, in cafeteria, doing dishes, even criminals deserve better service. To management/owner, i have a very disturbing video of this employee, i am not posting it here out of kindness. Please message me if you would like to see how your establishment is being run. Also, this place could be super successful with employees who want to work. I asked for a manager and the bartender told me there was none. 5 stars to the bar-back, good job kid.

This place is magic! I host events there often in the upstairs space and every time they knock it out of the park. First of all, the staff are super friendly, and helpful, and will do whatever they can to facilitate a successful event. The Events Manager Sam will go above and beyond to help make your vision come to life. She gave us so many options when it came to the layout and design of the space, food, and drinks, and even had ideas for marketing our event. The look and feel of the room are just incredible with the tall windows, wooden floors, and exposed brick. I used the huge projector screen for my presentation and it all went off without a hitch. If you need a sound system, Sam will hook you up with exactly what you need as well! We were able to choose our own menu and the food was delicious, fresh and the presentation was absolutely beautiful. We opted for the long wooden tables and they had a really rustic/earthy feel. Perfect for what we were envisioning. I've used this space multiple times and always had great success, so I felt like it was time to leave them the review they deserve! The bar downstairs doesn't really affect the way an event upstairs is run, so don't let that keep you away from the hidden gem upstairs! Talk to Sam for your corporate event or fun private parties. She's the best!

Terrible service in that we didn't even get any. Bartender asked for our ids and never came back. Vibes were super off: will never return.

Our food never came, we were told it will take 30 minutes an hour later the manager came over and said they lost our food order. Try having some decency when you make a mistake. For the hour that we sat there there were PISSED off customer who stood up and left.

This is the most OBNOXIOUS, boring place in downtown San Diego. The music is ear piercingly loud (you can hear it from several blocks away) and there is literally never anyone inside. I wouldn't send my worst enemy here.

We came her after a conference and ordered a drink. I inquired to what type of ace cider they had and was advised as the bartender pointed at the menu with attitude (Apple). He asked if I'd like a glass and I stated please with some ice. Asked three more times for ice and never received ice. He was very rude and ignored any request we asked. Sadly would not come back!!!! We tip well and love to travel but this place lacked service! Let's of TVs was the appeal for football

Great venue!! Great screen for viewing slides. Great air-conditioning. Very well located. The staff was very accommodating.

Great venue. Absolutely terrible time. Cover is always $20 a person even if the place is empty. Never a vibe. Save your money and time.

Amazing loft party vibes, seen some great House and Techno DJs here including Oliver Dollar and Super Flu.

The bar downstairs is great but be careful ordering upstairs because you'll pay $17 for a Moscow mule made with Sprite instead of ginger beer. Outside of that, cool space and fun shows. 2 stars.

Revel Revel is an amazing special event space. The location is nestled in the heart of the Gaslamp, within walking distance of many hotels. The staff at Revel Revel was on point, delivering impeccable service. Don't get me started about Eco Caters! The food is always fresh and creative. Definitely a crowd pleaser. San Diego Events Company APPROVED!

I hosted a private mastermind event here covering all things Facebook advertising and it was just perfect. Easily accomodated a crowd of 55 people. Marina, our event coordinator was on top of everything and is a sweetheart. Event went off without a hitch. Best location ever sitting just above the Gaslamp Pub making it easy for attendees to pop down for lunch and beers. Would give this place 100 stars if possible.

Awesome venue for the FUNCO event with Dino Gomez. Spacious and comfortable, great acoustics for a business gathering.

I attended the Revel Revel launch party and it was fabulous! It's such a beautiful space, I love all the natural wood and large windows that look over the Gaslamp. The food, entertainment, and services were top notch. I can't wait to attend another event there!

Awesome place, great bartenders and people all around. You must check it out for your next event space.

I planned and held a reception at Revel Revel in June and the experience was great! The space is open with high ceilings and large windows that open. Audio visual is included in the rental fee with a projector, microphone, and access to Spotify. We had over 200 people with two bars and two food stations. The tri-tip carving station was awesome with the best sauces to accompany the meat. Staff and bartenders would very friendly and efficient as well. I really appreciated the coordination leading up to the event. Jessica was very helpful with recommendations on food items and was very flexible on requests we had. Overall I would definitely recommend holding an event at this space in the heart of Gaslamp.
