"Once one of the buzziest openings of 2016 and a favorite for its peanut-brittle-y fried chicken, Revelry announced that it will not reopen." - Brooke Jackson-Glidden

Fantastically novel for RVA, with all sorts of interesting things to look at and play with. Multiple spaces with varying artistic decor, I was very impressed with the setup. Have only been there once and it was for a Wednesday funk and soul jam night and it was quite the time! Unfortunately, there was only one bar w 2 bartenders and almost always a slow line for a drink. I thought this could be greatly improved and was very surprised they had it set up this way! Either way, it's at least worth popping in to see what's going on and checking the space out.

Came to see my friend perform with her band Shades of Gray. If you are in the Richmond VA area and want to listen to some great 80s cover music definitely check them out. Check they're website to see where they will be next! But this place was a definite vibe! It gives speakeasy! It is so dope in there. The decor is beautiful. Check them out if you're looking for a laid back type of night out!

Nice lounge. First time going here as my lady purchased tickets to this 2 hour show for my birthday. Nice vibe, however, too close of quarters. Believe we were exposed to COVID here on Friday night, due to the close proximity and packed house that evening. Beautiful experience, however Day 3 of feeling like crap.

Oh my goodness, what a GEM! Love the atmosphere, the decor, the vibe and the staff was very welcoming and pleasant. The music was aww inspiring. Lady E rocked along with all the other acts. The only complaint is the food isn't great, but that doesn't count against them since there are so many options in the area.

It was FABULOUS!!! Our first time there to see a show and it exceeded our expectations :) the staff was very friendly and made you feel right at home! We loved walking thru and checking out all the rooms with their eclectic decor!!!! You really do have to experience it yourself, words don't do it justice!!!! We HIGHLY recommend it!!!! Note: picture of stage was before anyone got there. The band was doing sound check, just my husband at the front table .... 45 minutes later it was packed!!!!! But still quite comfortable.

This is a great venue. We listened to a jazz quartet and they were great. The drinks were good. The decor is very interesting and entertaining. We will definitely be back.

Saw a show tonight: great vibe, cool spot, nice people, good service. Great spot to see a show, experience music, and spend some time with good people of your choosing.

I scheduled my state inspection here and it was such an easy appointment. I came in about 15 minutes early on a Saturday, drive right in and was escorted to the waiting area and offere6a cold bottle of water that hit the spot. 30 minutes later I was on my way home with my newly inspected car.

Yelp
Reveler is always a great place to take newcomers or visitors in Richmond. With the best decor and ambiance in Carytown, I love checking out all their exhibits and play spaces. Their happy hour is amazing with solid cocktails for a great price. Bartenders and all staff are very welcoming and suit the atmosphere so well. The espresso martini I had was just the pick me up I needed before heading out to dinner.

Yelp
What an experience... to be around these talented people was a privilege. Not to mention I got to meet and talk with Lady E... If you looking for wonderful live music this is the place to be..

Yelp
I took myself on a solo date and visited Reveler Experiences located in Carytown, RVA and it was a truly magical experience. Reverler is an inclusive, enchanting art space and music club where grownups play like little kids. I took a stroll around the space to check out the rooms filled with cool and eclectic art. The room with the "Tree of Wishes" was enchanting indeed! So many cool things to see and take in! Look at it y'all! The night of my visit, the Corey Fonville Quartet were playing and they had the audience in a trance. They were so good! The bartenders are serving up tasty cocktails with a smile. They also have a food menu that I may check out next time but my food of choice that night was the delicious French 75. Geron makes a mean one! Go check them out y'all if you're looking to change up your scenery or impress a date. It's super cool!

Yelp
A very cool creative space for artists of all kind. We passed by it during a stroll in Carytown and saw that there was going to be a live Jazz performance at 8 pm. Since we didn't eat dinner yet, we circled back here after finishing up dinner. Surprisingly, the place was already packed. There was limited seating where the live performance was being held near the front of the establishment. Which was slightly disheartening because I was hoping for a casual sit down and didn't fancy standing during the performance. It was also a $15 cover charge for the band that was playing. I believe their band name was Sweet Potato's. Fortunately, they had a back lounge seating area which is a $5 ish cover charge. I thought it was odd at first that they were charging to sit in the lounge area and assumed it was probably because there was a live band playing at the moment so you could potentially come to the front and enjoy the music. After working our way to the back lounge area, I soon understood why there was a cover for it. It was a huge creative space. If you could look inside of an artists' mind, this is probably what you'll find. So many things to see, so many things happening, so many things to do. There's easels all around so people can freely sketch/draw, pianos, guitars, violin, sand art table, dummy with imitation skin to practice tattooing, etc. I loved that each table you sat at had a table number with a QR code to order your drink on your phone. You can keep the tab open or close out once you have placed your order. I really enjoyed my time here and if I lived in the area I would definitely come every weekend. Not even to drink or anything but to do artsy things in a different environment that opens my mind to creativity.

Yelp
We did the Treachery & High Tea experience and it was so fun! I had no idea what to expect but was pleasantly surprised by the Escape Room+ experience. I won't ruin it for others but it was entertaining, well put together and food & drinks are included. The space itself is well decorated. Everyone I interacted with - from booking the tickets to checkout, was so kind and helpful. I am looking forward to checking out the live music they have weekly as well as the other interactive experiences.

Yelp
I saw this establishment, one day walking through Cary town with a friend. We walked in and was amazed. The space seemed so magical and whimsical to us. A few months later, I saw on social media that the place was hosting a wine tasting. A friend of mine, and I decided to go. The wines were great, so we also decided to eat and drink more there. We sat at the bar and the bartender was so cool! I do not remember his name, but he is of Puerto Rican heritage. The happy hour has $5 eats and drinks which were not watered down or made with bottom shelf liquor!!! the food/bar bites were a few varieties of cold dips and chicken nachos but the eats were seasoned well and overall tasty. I cannot wait to go back to experience karaoke night.

Yelp
This place is so beautiful inside and just good vibes all around. The wine selection is superb as the chef is a sommelier so he knows his wine. The food is also delish, small but filling little plates and they also have shareable. I came for lunch for food and wine and didn't disappoint. The service is also fantastic everyone who works here is so friendly and educated. This place is unknown from the outside but promise just go in and look all around, it's huge and so cool.

Yelp
Once you've stepped into the Reveler, you feel like you've stepped onto another planet. This place is such an overall cool immersive experience and I can't wait to see what they do to enhance the late night music scene. Walk through the front door in Carytown and you'll see the bar straight ahead, but make sure you walk around the sides to see all of the art installations and cool interactive rooms they have. This is the perfect spot for a first date, especially on a night when they have music. All I hope for in the future, is that they move the tables and chairs before the music starts so people can be more comfortable dancing. It was very tight and squeezed up front by the band, but the room is big enough to fit a lot more people if they moved the tables and chairs. But, with that being said, you definitely won't find anything else like this place, in Carytown. So, if you're looking for something different and exciting, check this place out! I will definitely be back and I'm going to tell all of my friends to check it out as well!

Yelp
This was my first time but won't be my last!! I love New Orleans jazz brass and the Richmond Brass Connection was performing so I decided to take myself on a date! I was not disappointed!!!! The band was PHENOMENAL!!! I am sure we will see more of their performances on stage going forward! The Révéler is a unique venue...bar, immersive art, theater and music. During a performance break, there was magician, a singing performance and a burlesque performance. The venue has many rooms - one is a tattoo parlor!! The place such a vibe and everyone was so friendly. I'm already looking for the next performance!!!

Yelp
My first introduction to Reveler was shortly after they opened. My friend decided to have her 40th bday celebration there with a big group of friends for an experience. No one knew exactly what to expect. We arrived and were ushered in and given a glass of champagne and encouraged to mingle as there were other people there not in our group. Eventually we were split up into different rooms. A groups of five or so of us were taken into a room and instructed to use water colors to paint half of a picture on paper and fold it over to make a Rorschach. We were then instructed to how to take turns hooking each other up to a polygraph and given cards to with questions on it. Most of us didn't know each other so it was a little weird but fun! After a while we were asked to go back and join the group for a couple other Parlour tricks and that was that. It was fun but not something I would likely go back to so when another friend asked me to go with her to a funk and blues open mic night back in the summer I was a bit hesitant but decided what the hell. And man oh man am I glad i did! These weekly jam sessions give space for local musicians, singers etc to get up on stage and live their best lives. It's one of the most accepting, diverse, and non judgmental environments. Young and old a like get down to some serious funk and soul! It's pretty epic. I've heard they have some other cool nights but I haven't checked them out yet. And if you buy the date night pass you get a reserved table with a bottle of wine or bubbly and three apps for like $60 which ain't bad for night out!

Yelp
OMG. This place is absolutely amazing. Unbelievable decor, amazing live music EVERY. NIGHT. OF. THE. WEEK. The vibe of this place is off the charts... the bartenders are magical, the ambiance will send you to wonderland and beyond, everyone working there is on another level of amazing, delicious bites, and that's just on music nights... add to that the EXPERIENCES... mind. blown. Wonderful service. Beautiful space. Smartly decorated. A true modern day fantasy spot.

Yelp
Menh. Drinks were great. Vibe was great. 20 min wait when the bar is empty to order was annoying. At least pretend Im a paying customer.

Yelp
Wow! This was an amazing find while in Richmond with my wife for a couple days. The show was fun, the performers were great, the vibe is tremendous and the staff was so fun and welcoming. Can't wait to come back!

Yelp
such a fun place but without a doubt, they serve the worst wine I have ever tasted. Cheap wine does not have to taste like kerosene. I wish they would improve their choice. I will never order it there again.

Sandra B.

Yelp
Food was good, service was good and entertainment was great!!! We really enjoyed our night there
