Revelry Brewing - Folly Beach

So there are 2 locations. This little location is in Folly Beach and kinda hidden, but it is so cute! The decor is awesome and our bartenders were great. Folly beach and Charleston SC are our favorite places to be for summer. The Charleston location is the big location, and also awesome. We just frequented this spot because it was across the street from our apartment.

We hosted our wedding party at Revelry on Folly and it was more than I ever could have hoped for. The team made it so easy to plan and work together leading up to the event. They were always so quick to reply and answer questions! The bartenders that night went above and beyond for us. They helped run food, clean, and make sure the band had everything they needed. Plus they did it all so seamlessly there was never a wait for anyone! I would highly recommend considering them for an event or just stopping in anytime. I’m so grateful they pulled off an amazing night for us!

Hidden spot off of main Folly strip, great music, good vibes, delicious beer, reasonable food! They share a food menu with Bounty Bar and their Staff Menu Pick is SO reasonable!!

Wonders of wonders a real brewery spreads its wings at the Edge. Revelry, one of Charleston’s early craft brewers opened an outlet for their brews on Folly. Tucked into a pleasant open space accessed through a small alley off center street, the space is dominated by a long bar facing niche seating. There’s a larger seating area toward the rear of the space. There is no roof, just a translucent paneled trellis covering the bar but it’s attractive and the noise level is muted by the fact that it’s really just a covered outdoor space. Food is available through window service by the adjacent Bounty Bar. This is not the place to come for any real dining but it’s a bright, friendly, inviting space. A great place to grab a craft brew and snack on some interesting beach food. We like the concept and execution and give it four clams on the coveted Five Quahog Rating Scale

Revelry is a must when I visit Folly. My favorite place for a tasty drink with a good vibe.

I really want to give this place one star to deter people from coming here completely out of selfishness, just because I KNOW that after this summer, their first one being open on Folly, they will be slammed all the time! Their motto of "hidden little beach bar" fits them perfectly, as it is tucked in behind a gift shop on Front Street. Once you walk down the short breezeway, you are greeted by what I can only describe as beach club chic awesomeness, from the polished cement bar to their multiple lounge areas. The beer is great, which isn't a shock since it is Revelry. You can order food from The Bounty Bar via a kiosk next to the bar. Oriana was behind the bar both times we stopped in, and if the rest of the staff is half as awesome as she is, I guarantee you will love this place too. Awesome ocean breeze, large fans, and heaters on the ceiling make this a place you surely can enjoy year-round.

Fun little hole in the wall bar. There is deceptively more seating than anticipated. the bartender was extremely nice, and the whole atmosphere was overall amazing. I highly recommend stopping here if you’re looking for a cozy spot to grab a drink!

Brianna is awesome. She derlserves a raise. Not many bartenders so caring and willing to take photos and sell merchandise. We had the best time.

What an epic spot for a brewery. The Folly Beach strip is truly becoming a real vibe. It is a bit hidden but once you see their adorable catchy branding sign, you'll be welcomed by a jungle of plants leading you to the back bar. The setting is off the street. Very relaxing. I saw women reading books at the bar, couples sitting on the low couches, singles on the swing to the right and bach groups at the corner of the bar. It may appear small and narrow but you'll be pleasantly surprised how spacey it is. Overall, adorable oasis of a trendy little beachy bar. The warmth of the earthy tones and decor they selected is perfection. I can see everyone wanting to take pictures here. Everywhere you look has a perfect backdrop! Food is ordered via a self-serve monitor which comes from next door!

I finally had the opportunity to come in the check out Revelry's newer location on Folly after a solid day at the beach. I only popped in for a drink to wind down and read my book at the bar. I love that this location is set back off the street. It has the perfect beach vibe and is away from the main buzz of tourists and traffic. The two bartenders working were nice and attentive. I ordered the Beach Haus Pilsner that was the perfect light drink I needed after being out in the sun. Mind you their selection is smaller than their downtown location. While I hope this location does really well I also hope it stays more relaxed and chill compared to downtown that has been overrun but the college crowd. I'll def be coming back and recommend anyone else looking for a beach lofi vibe to swing by.

We found this hidden brewery by accident, and I'm so glad we did! The beach vibe is one I could sit in all day! They've got a great selection of beers on tap and the coolest merch! Loved this little hideaway spot!

Nice courtyard entrance to a backyard type area. Beer was ok but everything in this place is made of concrete including the bar. They try to decorate with some plants and hanging pots but felt the place had absolutely no warmth. You order food from the bar next door and they deliver it to window on side. We had one beer and moved on.

SOOO happy our Airbnb mentioned this place! Hidden little gem! Adorable decor! Amazing local beers! Great service! Came by a couple times during our trip the Folly Beach! Dog friendly as well! Partners with the restaurant next door for some food items! And I must say those are delicious too! Burger and the fish were great! And cute tee shirts and hats! The to-go beers are great! Bought some to bring home!

Amazing little spot on Folly! They did such a great job with this space, you would never expect to walk down an alley and end up here. The bartenders are always having a great time, and the food (ordered from Nextdoor) seems to be great. Definitley such a good spot to check out!

We're big fans of downtown Revelry so not a surprise we loved the new folly location too! Their kitchen wasn't open when we went, but we were told they'll have apps / bar bites soon. Seating is very open and casual so good for groups or family. Can't wait to come when it's a bit warmer

Folly Beach has a brewery! Revelry opened up a 2nd location on center street on Folly! Nice outside spot that's covered. Currently serving beer and light snacks. I believe the 2 foot & Choppy (Session IPA) and Beach Haus are made for the Folly Beach location. Both are very good and I recommend trying those out. They have a refrigerator that you can buy $12 6 packs to go. Currently have heaters and a fire pit since it's winter time.

Nestled into a hole on the street, opening to a courtyard bar top is where you'll find revelry brewing. Right on center street in folly beach you can stay for a while. Visited one hot afternoon after a couple recommendation's. The bar top was clean, the service was quick with a smile, beer was good and cold and plenty of places to sit. A bit unconventional as it's completely outdoor but it does have a covered top for all to sit under. All in all. Everyone here is just happy to be here. Come hang out, have a drink, a night cap an afternoon pick me up. You won't be disappointed.

Revelry is the vibeiest brewery spot. Kind of hidden, all outdoors with a super beachy seating area it was a nice respite from the main drag of folly beach. We ordered off the menu for the bar Nextdoor and got the pickle bowl & magic dust wings. Highly recommend the wings which were like a five spice situash (a little spicy, if you like that numbing peppercorn spice kinda thing). I could probably eat a million of them! The pickle "bowl" was also big yum if you're a pickle girlie like me. It had a good variety of house made pickles (giardiniera, sweet heat, classic, jalapeño, eggs, onions) and it also came with some toasted sourdough & spicy mustard. The beer itself was also good, most of the options were light and beachy (pils, hazy, blonde, and seltzers). Overall, great vibe friendly staff and yummy bar food. Bonus points for being family friendly during the day too (our 10mo came with).

Their additional, new location on Folly off Center Street is just wonderful! It's bright, open and very welcoming. I love it!
