"On the corner of Belleneden and Choumert sits a cosy little literary snug. Established by Roz Simpson and Roy Middleton ten years ago, Review, is a delightful bookshop full of character and charm. With a great selection of intelligent new fiction adorning the shelves you can be sure to while away your day browsing, whilst being entertained by manager Katia’s stories and quips.
They also run events, in particular the Peckham Literary Festival – highlights this year include an illustrated walk with illustrator and artist Alice Stevenson." - Studio A4 E+F

Lovely bookshop with great selection - always find something great which I’ve never heard of or seen anywhere else. They can also order in books for collection.

Why go anywhere else but this well stocked jewel of a bookshop? With knowledgeable, super helpful staff, it’s a joy to visit and browse. If a book is not in stock, they’re happy to order it, which normally arrives in a couple of days, so forget amazon and get yourself down there, as I have been regularly since it opened.

If you love reading physical books and appreciate small, knowledgeable book store, you'll love Review.

Some bookshops are better than others, just the way things are... Review is a great bookshop, the staff know their books and their recommendations and stock are really good. This is a bookshop to come to even if you think the last thing you need is to buy another book. It's inspirational, friendly and has good vibes

This place is so cosy and charming and if you're in the area I'd recommend seeking it out. It's not huge but manages to pack a lot in including a hefty selection of books about London and a lovely kids bit too. Independent bookshops are few and far between now so do buy something! There are some nice cards on sale so I stocked up on those too.
The lady working was having a nice natter with everyone in the shop and helping with recommendations which reminded me that friendly customer service is so lacking in most chain stores these days. A perfect Sunday stop!

Favourite bookshop in all of London! The woman who works there is so friendly and helpful, great selection of books and if they don't have it they'll happily order it in. It's not giant so one wouldn't be overwhelmed. Great spot!

Love this local bookshop! They have the most helpful staff with great recommendations. Plus they can order in books that aren’t in stock for pickup. They are my go to for physical books!

Yelp
I stumbled across this wonderful neighbourhood bookshop when a friend held her book launch in its cosy environs recently. Bellenden Road is a very nice street and it wasn't a big surprise that it housed a lovely bookshop, though as I browsed through stacks of interesting tomes and cooed over the cute gifts they had on sale for Christmas I did wish I'd discovered it sooner.
Thinking about it later I realised I hadn't been in a real bookshop for years, preferring online shopping or a look through the shelves of the local charity shop to the sorry trudge around the book supermarkets we're surrounded by these days. I wasn't even sure small bookshops still did good enough business to pay the rent so it was especially nice to find out that Review is alive and kicking, complete with canine companion. Sadly I missed out on meeting the famous pooch as he'd gone home for his tea but hopefully next time

Yelp
Extremely good shop.. lovely choice of books, mostly review led (no pun intended), great events (readings, launches) and very much part of the Peckham community...

Yelp
If only every neighborhood had such a great bookshop. Having a bookshop on a street makes it special - and Review is a special bookshop. They have a great range of books, and the owner is very knowledgeable - she is always good at helping my daughter choose new books, and for me too. I try and buy as many of my books here - rather than Amazon.

Yelp
This small bookstore in Peckham is a real gem. It is a small shop but absolutely packed with a very good selection of books. Not just the latest bestsellers either but a good section on Art and design , a fab children section, books on local interest and also small gifts, cards etc. There's an outside space where you can sit and read as well. The owner is very helpful and friendly. I usually go in intending to buy one book and leave with no less than five!
