Best Cafes Between Portland and Seattle | Eater Seattle

"Located just a block away from Olympia’s downtown waterfront, Revival Motors is the capital city’s very own motorcycle garage coffee shop. Diners can admire the custom bikes while they wait for drinks from Seattle roaster Caffe Umbria, which specializes in Italian-style espresso blends. While Main Street Cookie Company provides the pastries here, some lucky guests might be able to score Oly’s Malasadas on the weekends, a local treat." - Seiji Nanbu

I stopped at the capital to look around and went here for a coffee before getting back on the road. The atmosphere was laid back and welcoming: nice use of space, cool decor, super friendly staff. It got even better after tasting the specialty coffee drink. Their coffee is excellent, prepared well and the extras worked very well with the drink (“The Last Caress”). I’ll absolutely come back here next time I’m in town.

Great coffee. Tried one of the custom seasonal drinks 'yellow jacket'. Time before this, I had a quad mocha. both were excellent. Breakfast burritos, veggie and omnivore muffins, cookies, sometimes cupcakes Indie music. Cool motorcycle decor. Outdoor seating. Motorcycle shop! Both times I've been here, someone has a unique car in the lot. Vanagon, original Jeep pickup, Saab 900, etc. whole bean coffee and stickers available. Actively supportive of queer causes. LGBTQIA+ welcoming.

What a FANTASTIC place! Very warm and welcoming of all types of people. A judgment free One! It was awesome. If you enjoy motorcycles it's a must visit.

I had high hopes for this place, I still do, but their customer service needs work. I walked in and stood at the counter for a good five minutes before being acknowledged. A quick, "Hi, be right with you" would have been nice. There were three customers. Two already had their food. The barista was making a drink for the third customer. Another guy was slicing something. They chitchatted while I stood there. Finally, when she finished making the drink, she acknowledged my presence. I ordered a slice of banana bread. It was ice cold, directly out of the refrigerator. She did not ask if I would like it warmed up. It was on a plate, but there was no fork. That would have been ok if she had asked if I needed anything else, but she did not.

Love this cozy shop and the artsy, upbeat, rugged vibe. We are big on exploring different coffees, and think their lattes (lots of flavor options!) and drip are both delicious. They have several bakery and snack options that are good, but not generally our focus so not too much feedback there. I’m all for some good swag though, and their designs are fantastic, so we have several of their sweatshirts and tshirts - good quality and soft! It’s always a good morning when we can drop by for a good cup of Joe and sit in the back to watch the happenings in the bike shop through the glass:) **they also advertise a program for veterans learning to work on bikes! Fantastic way to partner with the community**

Yelp
This place is now located at 604 Union in Olympia. They've done a decent job renovating the place too. However, one thing they do and absolutely shouldn't is post their political views on their marquis. Whether you agree with them or not, taking political sides is not a good way to attract as much business as you can because you're going to offend some of what could have been your business.

Yelp
What the hell just happened. I work near this place and finally thought I'd give it a try this morning. I wish I had just stayed in bed instead. That was the saddest display of Gen Z bull$hit I've ever experienced. The two people 'working' and I use that term loosely, ignored me for 10 minutes while he looked at his phone (she was making a coffee at least) and talked about their Sunday plans (seems she might crash at her friend's place in Seattle after a bday party on Saturday night.) When she finally acknowledged me I ordered a muffin (which I'm forcing myself to eat although it tastes like a dirty kitchen sponge because $5...) which she put in a microwave or something and promptly forgot about for about three more customers. I had to interject and ask if per chance it was ready?? Oh, my bad. Work is so taxing! The vibe looked cool in there- I grew up visiting my uncle at his motorcycle shop in the heart of Georgetown in Seattle, I dig it. But for the love of all that is decent in this world- get some good help. Even just friendly would be fine. The arrogance is unhinged. Wow. Just wow.

Yelp
I was in Olympia for a training and I am so happy I stumbled upon this place! Drinks and food were both bomb! I got a White Chocolate Americano and some of their Chocolate chip Banana Bread. 10/10 would recommend! Plus, the vibes are cool!

Yelp
Love that their new location is walking distance from the downtown library, not to mention great coffee, and the new indoor seating is very nice. So excited they've reopened. My order today was a rosemary-mint-lavender iced latte: excellent!

Yelp
Stopped by RevMo to check out the new indoor seating. Love it!!! All of it. Really like the large windows from the cafe looking into the motorcycle shop. That's a boatload of bikes! Lots of cute touches throughout. Easy peasy free parking, friendly barista and spot on espresso drinks. Will be back again and again

Yelp
They have great coffee, non dairy milk and house made syrups. Try the cardamom ginger in a latte. They also have great pastries, including gluten free and now egg bites.

Yelp
So glad they reopened! This is the second location for this business after an arson burnt down the first one. Scones from Owls nest, croissants from San Francisco bakery, and coffee from Umbria. Todays special was raspberry coconut latte, so good!

Yelp
Just a heads up that they have reopened recently at a new location: Revival MOTORS AND COFFEE CO. 412 4th Ave E, Olympia, Washington 98501, United States 360-888-6520

Yelp
Great place for a cup of Joe and socialize with other riders. Easy to ride in with plenty of room to maneuver.

Yelp
Where else can you get a superior traditional cappuccino while viewing an eclectic collection of vintage motorcycles? They are conveniently located just a couple blocks from Oly Farmers' Market. There are tables outside to enjoy your brew in a safely ventilated area, when weather permits. 'Nuf said.

Yelp
Had a cappuccino here which was very good and reasonably priced. Also talked with the owner about fixing a motorcycle and seemed very knowledgeable and capable - also friendly. Be back here soon.

Yelp
After a week long soft opening, Revival Motors and Coffee Co. is open. What's not to love. Motorcycles? Nope - love them. High quality caffeinated beverages served in the traditional Italian manner? Nope - love that. Damn I had so much caffeine I walked out feeling like a g%dd$med hurricane. The pastries from Left Bank are great. I like the cheese croissant. I like to order it in an anarcho-French accent. Though, I don't think the barista got what I was going for... The real truth is, this shop oozes with a labor-of-love vibe. The staff is friendly, and it is a great alternative from the quantity over quality method of chains who like mermaids and green iconography. go here, get gassed up, have your bike tuned up, and get out into the world.

Yelp
Jimmy and I talked through the parts I wanted installed on my DR650 (30L Safari tank, stiffer shock spring, mounting tab on my muffler can) and straightening out my forks and made a plan to drop it off before I went out of town. I told him I'd love to have it back by the last week in July and I just picked it up as promised. The tank install looks clean and professional, as does the mounting tab on the exhaust. The stiffer spring feels great, as does riding with straight forks again. The service was spot on and he kept things under the agreed upon budget and delivery date. Thanks so much, I'll definitely be recommending this shop to others.

Yelp
This place has good coffee and a great atmosphere for ALL motorcyclists, not just the cruiser types. Being an adventure rider, Jimmy ( one of the owners) made sure of that. Hopefully they will have some mellow events in the future to attend to promote cycling and caffeine.

Yelp
Amazing little shop. Cappuccino was perfect, biker/tattoo shop vibe, love it. Will go back soon.

Yelp
Do you like coffee? Do you like motorcycles? Well here's the place for you! I am clearly not cool enough to be here but I pull up on my vespa anyhow. The baristas are friendly, decor is cool, and the mechanics are greasy. Oh and the coffee is good too. Its so lovely.

Yelp
Have visited a few times when there seeing my kid at Evergreen. It's our go-to for great coffee.

Yelp
Always kind people when I go there. Coffee is excellent. I enjoy their merch as well.
