Went with a fairly large group of friends and were pleasantly surprised by the tasting that we participated in. Aaron the owner gave us an in depth tasting that everyone enjoyed. He is very knowledgeable and a great person with talk with. The spirits were tasty and atmosphere was great to hang out and and talk. Highly recommend.

Google
Our group made a spur of the moment decision to visit Revolution Spirits and we are so glad we did! Owner Aaron was so gracious and hospitable, and his liqueurs are delicious! We all left with new favorites to drink. Definitely worth the visit!

Google
We just discovered this little craft distillery in SW Austin, near Dripping Springs, TX. What a gem 💎 Very quiet countryside barn setting, many drinks to choose from, dog friendly 🐕‍🦺 as it should be and a fantastic presentation by Aaron 🤗 We prefer small places like this one as it makes the visit feel more cozy and warm. Come taste some samples and buy a bottle or two to take home. Each drink has a story, moreover, some of them are featured in the Austin Chronicle. As of now this little distillery is open only on Saturdays. Also don’t come hungry as there are no food trucks here at the moment. Masha 🐕‍🦺also enjoyed the visit with a picnic table being her favorite spot 🐾 We really enjoyed their gin, La Dama and Cafecito liqueurs 🥃🥃🥃 Thank you, Aaron 🙏 We will definitely be back❗️

Google
Everything I just tasted was the best spirit, in every respective category, I have ever tasted. As a bartender with over a decade of experience, I can honestly say these spirits blew my socks off. Featuring unique ingredients, artistic creativity, and passion enough to get you to the moon, I have now found my favorite new spot in the Austin area hill country. Thank you to the owner Aaron for such a wonderful first experience. Please put Revolution Spirits on your local hit list immediately.

Google
This place has an owner that’s passionate about the product that he serves. High quality spirits in a very modest setting, but our group was more than a year to buy a bottle of several things because of the realization that the items truly are craft.

Google
We just stopped by the distillery and sampled the spirits with Aaron who was very entertaining and amicable. The Austin Reserve gin has been our home gin for a number of years because the quality of filtering helps to eliminate any next-day headaches. What was great about speaking with Aaron is that we sampled the other liquors at Revolution. We left with 8 bottles between 2 couples. I highly recommend this brand and visiting this distillery.

Google
A great tasting room experience. You start with four of their classic distilled spirits which allow you to get a good feel for their overall flavor profiles. Then you can move into ordering a specific drink. Each drink is handcrafted and made with love. The status especially great and we also had the pleasure of a local farm selling their items.

Google
If you’re looking for Saturday plans — you found them! This place is a must-see when you’re in the area. We have enjoyed every visit here and recommend it to everyone we know. Don’t skip the tasting, every single thing they make is delicious and you will learn so much about the process!

Yelp
The best discovery ever! Their gin and coffee liqueur is amazing. Super friendly. All spirits taste amazing and would definitely recommend. Bought 4 bottles.

Yelp
A great little distillery for those looking to escape the hordes at Jester King. The service here is top notch, if it's your first time they'll present you with a complimentary mini-flight so you can sample their entire range. Right now that consists of gin and various liqueurs. I wasn't a fan of the liqueurs, but the gin is an absolute steal at $35/bottle (not available for purchase on Sundays!) They used to have a few BBQ offerings, but sadly that's gone now. While the space is dog friendly, the outdoor seating is relatively small. We were planning on bringing our pups, but I'm glad we didn't...both the parties out there with us brought their dogs and it would have been 6 pups in a relatively small area. Drinks range from $8-10, and they regularly rotate out flavored slushes, absolutely perfect for Summer. If you go on a busy Saturday afternoon like we did, you're better off going inside and ordering from the bar.

Yelp
I've been here twice and I have to say they are just the nicest people! The sprits are amazing as well. Cocktails are very well priced. Stop by. You won't be disappointed!

Yelp
Too much fun great energy from everyone! Group of friends had a sampling on a beautiful Texas day. They have lots of options and cool gifts inside! Owner was present and great energy and knowledge! We had a great time then sampled cocktails! Beautiful hill country retreat for a great time and buzzzz!

Yelp
good drinks, good food, good folks! so I first came here on a Sunday and was disappointed to learn that I wouldn't be able to buy any bottles - so came back the next day! but that first visit got me hooked. once we sat down we had a little baby flight presented to us...I've never had a gin this good at room temperature. it was so surprising! I was also really intrigued by the damiana, and generally enjoyed the cocktails we tried. also, was pleasantly surprised that the kitchen food was also quite good. all in all if I lived here I'd hang out on the weekends.
google avatar

Yelp
It's gin and gin cocktails. Not my thing but since I drug hubby to wine tasting had to give a little. Nice space indoor and out. Friendly staff. Dog friendly. Hubby and other patrons raved about the cocktails.

Yelp
This just a covid update. These guys are the shnt when it comes to keepng their customers safe. Frequent sanitizing, rejecting anti-mask morons, and STILL they providing kick ass service and product. They've recently added food service and arguably have some of the best bbq in the area. If u haven't been, ur missing out BIG time.

Yelp
This is a chill place. Tried to go to Jester King down the road (and didn't get to, for the 2nd time in a row cause it's always so damn busy) so decided to go here instead. Glad we did! They were very attentive to us as soon as we came in, and we loved the complimentary tasting flight. Ended up buying a bottle of the coffee liquor we can't find at the liquor store. And I love the virgin pineapple drink they made for my toddler. Matt was fantastic! Very attentive, not pushy. Good vibes all around.
google avatar

Maria M.

Yelp
Excellent gin - we bought a bottle with their homemade tonic as well and it an absolutely delicious. The tasting was a pleasant surprise! Free cocktail and tasting was included with a stamp from Jester King down the street, so glad we stopped in.
google avatar

Yelp
Stopped by after checking out Last Stand & I was really impressed by what these guys are producing here: High-quality gin & other spirits, & beautifully crafted artisan cocktails. These folks are some real artisans who are passionate about the craft they're putting out there. Now is a great time to be in the Austin with so many talented chefs, artisans, & craftsmen putting out some really great products out there! There's no doubt in my mind that Revolution Spirits will soar into greatness.
google avatar

Yelp
We stumbled upon this place after a visit to Jester King on a Sunday. There was no one there, creating both a serene and deserted vibe. The tasting was free, while the cocktails were in the $8-10 range. The gin, coffee liqueur and pecan liqueur were amazing! However, because it was Sunday, we couldnt buy bottles, which was very disappointing. The cocktails were a bit of a let down that didnt let the spirits shine. The best was the gingery take on a White Russian. The service was very friendly and attentive, yet again, we were the only customers. I definitely recommend picking up a bottle of their gin and liqueurs if you can find them!

Yelp
We hit the jackpot when we found this place. Not only is there a liquor pretty good, but the staff is super nice. The area is pretty small, so it's not ideal for big groups, but don't let that deter you. After our tasting, they offered us a free cocktail. If you're a fan of coffee, you must try their cafecito or chocolate cafecito spirit. My favorite was their gin. If you like mezcal, try to their gin reserve in mezcal barrel. Definitely a must when you're in the area

Ray R.

Yelp
Love the drinks and now BBQ available! Outdoor seating with heaters. Had several hot and cold cocktails, all were fantastic. Brought home excellent brisket, ribs, and chili con queso. Amazing what these guys are doing here.

Tim G.

Yelp
Upon walking in they gave us a flight to taste their liquors. This place is a hidden gem and will soon explode. I'm so happy to have experienced this place. Their home made liquors and sodas made for a great day. But then they had amazing food. BBQ 2 lb turkey leg awesome queso. The only issue I had was that I couldn't try more because I was driving. I will be absolutely making this a reoccurring stop.
google avatar

Yelp
Everything was done right - great customer service, clean flow for visitors, and the quality and uniqueness of the distilled liquor itself was great. To elaborate, samples were provided for the different options of their distilled liquor while an explanation of the flavors was provided, which was particularly beneficial for the 100 proof gin such has notes of grapefruit, lavender, and juniper. They also have a coffee liquour which is 50 proof, so a bit stronger than the traditional but still very sweet and flavorful. Even after the tasting, it was a nice place to hang out and was well ventilated and shaded.
google avatar

Sarah W.

Yelp
You have to come here - if you have never had a gin you can sip room temperature without a mixer, you have never had a good gin. Beautiful floral gin, wonderful amaro, and the most amazing other items.
google avatar

Elaine M.

Yelp
Visited here on a Sunday. We loved the super friendly staff and the spirits too! Upon entering the tasting room they asked if we had ever been before. When we answered no they immediately brought over for a tasting - no charge. We enjoyed most of the different offerings. Then we picked out some cocktails to enjoy - both with their gin. Daughters was with grapefruit and mine with cucumber. We also purchased a cheese plate which we were told was made up for them from the local grocery store. Nonetheless, we enjoyed our cocktails out on the picnic tables and had quite a lovely time. Not being from Texas we were unaware of the law prohibiting liquor sales on Sundays. We certainly would have bought a bottle if we could have.
google avatar

Jim H.

Yelp
Nice, clean place. Bought a bottle of the coffee liquor. Free samples of the spirits made here. Indoor and outdoor seating.
google avatar

Suzanne H.

Yelp
Its sooooOooo smooooth. Gin is excellent and tasting is generous! The guys are informative and friendly. My only complaint is the place isn't air conditioned...but Gin= EXCELLENT, SUPERB, LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!

Yelp
While we were sipping our ciders at Argus pondering about where we should go next, Revolution Spirits popped up on Yelp and so we of course headed there without any second thought! This place is really amazing!! There was quite a bit of crowd as it was saturday but we were still given a great deal of attention during our tasting! My favorite was the cafecito coffee liquer and the chocolate cafecito. They're so good, that I could probably drink an entire bottle all by myself! The best part of this place is the amazing people who own/work here and they didn't even charge us for the tastings and also gave us a free cocktail made with their gin!! So as appreciation from our end for all that they did and shared with us, we gave a nice tip :)!! Definitely, going to look for Revolution on my next trip to Spec's!
google avatar

Thom And Vicky H.

Yelp
Revolution is a tiny little gem manned by some very knowledgeable and passionate makers. Upon visiting, we found their doors swung open to a single long room that had spirit-making equipment and two booths set up. At the first booth, we had complimentary tastings and a saga-sharing session with their amiable bartender. The tastings were amazing: their hibiscus gin & tonic cocktail was incredible (the taste you crave days afterward). After the tasting, you can meander on to taste some of their specialty liquors (fruity ones too). We found their eau de vivre to be phenomenal, lovely aroma and as smooth as butter. Would highly recommend stashing oodles of their spirits away for safekeeping!

Yelp
Word's can't describe how impressed i was by this distillery. The staff was very eager to tell their tale and share samples of their creations. Then explained how they make everything. Now im not a coffee fan by any meals but they found a perfect balance in their Cafecito Coffee Liqueur. Its not an overbearing coffee taste. Its perfect for sipping. Im very sad they dont ship, as living in Colorado doesnt allow me to enjoy this as much as id like. Because i just ran out of the Cafecito as im writing this. Please give them a stop in, they are very friendly and desereve a hello.
google avatar

Marty J.

Yelp
This place was awesome. So happy it was next door the the last stand brewery. They start you off with a taste of their gin. Real smooth. Then a taste of their coffee licquer. To top it off they made me a free grapefruit cocktail. Then we got the tour of how they make the gin. The coffee licquer was made with fresh local coffee. The guy working there had previously lived in the city for 10 years so it was a funny coincidence. He was fun to talk to. If I had a checked bag on my flight I would have bought a bottle.
google avatar

Chris C.

Yelp
Avoid the crowds, get the good stuff. This place is small, but the selection is pretty solid--everything from fruit liquors to their flagship gin and several mixers. Best of all there was no need to pay $$ upfront for a tour--just walk in and start tasting and talking. The gin was the standout here, but all the stuff we tried was excellent except for their own cherry-limeade mixer--that was kind of a letdown, but the alcohol itself was great. Can easily walk from here to Last Stand Brewing and Argus Cidery. There was a food truck outside as well.
google avatar

Tara L.

Yelp
Wow, what a great little distillery! The flagship gin is lovely, can't wait to try a French 77 with some. The Cafecito coffee liqueur, yum, I'm thinking something like a Moscow Mule, how 'bout calling it a Kicking Mule w/ the caffeine kick. Might make it into some winter cocoa as well. And, bought a bottle of the seasonal apricot liqueur for some lovely evening sipping. I highly recommend this unpretentious place for some enjoyable libations.
google avatar

Cait K.

Yelp
Excellent local distillery! My favorite alcohols were the gin and cafecito; also, the tonic they use (Springwood) which I had in a G&T I ordered after the tasting is also locally produced and top-notch. The cherry on top is that the distillers are extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Will be visiting again soon.
google avatar

Kathy M.

Yelp
Owners are very passionate about their product and their distillery! We had free tastings of their gin and their coffee liqueur. They then offered a free cocktail. We could choose between a Bloody Mary or a blackberry drink. Both drinks were really good. It was a very fun little tour and tasting.

Kathryn D.

Yelp
Wow! Amazing selection of gin -- and liquors in partnership with Jester King. Coffee/chocolate gin, mezcal gin, lavender note gin. Bartender Forest was so friendly and his colleague gave lots of samples. The mixed drinks with homemade ginger beer and hibiscus and grapefruit were amazing. Best non-wine stop of the day!!!!
google avatar

cameron b.

Yelp
Easily the best gin in Austin, and Texas for that matter. Their bar staff and distillers are immensely knowledgeable and cordial. It's a bit out of town on the West side, but it's not to far from Jester King brewery so it's easy to make a day of it. Worth your while.

Vicki M.

Yelp
We loved this place. We stopped by during the last hour last Friday eve as one set of customers was leaving. John Henry, owner, was so very friendly. Had a delightful time talking with him about his distillery and spirits while sampling as well as general conversation later at our table. We were given samples of gin, amaro, and two coffee liqueurs. All were very good. We then picked our cocktails, which he made and brought to our table. Very tasty and reasonably priced. We were not rushed out and time was not even mentioned by the owner. I realized it was 15 min. after closing so we finished our drinks and bought some small size bottles. We will be back!
google avatar

Renee Z.

Yelp
First day the tasting room is open. Free tasting. Also have a bar that makes drinks from their spirits. Tasty goodness. Gin and tonic was delicious.
google avatar

Leigh Z.

Yelp
We did a tasting of the gin and the coffe flavored liquor they have. I am not a liquor drinker so can't comment on quality, but the staff were nice and we enjoyed our visit!
google avatar

Kevin H.

Yelp
A hidden jewel in Hill Country! Great gin, coffee liquor and possibly more on the way. Hospitality has always been good from a complimentary cocktail to a tour of the facility or a good chat about the distilling process and the future of Revolution in general. Make the time to visit soon!
google avatar

Jean B.

Yelp
Enjoyed the tour and the vegan White Russian. We were disappointed they were already out of the single barrel. We're looking forward to the next run!
google avatar

Katie O.

Yelp
This is the best gin in the world! It is so flavorful and easy to drink. The staff is friendly , knowledgeable and always ready to answer questions. Their cocktails are amazing and the soda they have on tap is made in house! Parking can be a pain if it is busy, but who cares....the gin makes up for it!
google avatar

Nick G.

Yelp
Amazing gin and liqueurs. My wife and I have been three times now. Incredibly generous staff. The tastings are wonderful and the free cocktail has been great every time. As an Austin native, this is a very cool place to get away from the city. We have routinely directed out of town friends/family here (and to Last Stand) and have not heard of any of them leaving the place empty handed. Must try!
google avatar

Ivon T.

Yelp
Coffee liqueur is amazing. They gave us complimentary tastings as soon as we walked. It's a very small distillery so literally where you walk in is where they make the alcohol. Definitely worth checking out. The partner with local breweries to get new flavors for their gin and their coffee liqueur used fresh coffee from a local coffee maker in Austin.
google avatar

Joe R.

Yelp
Great gin and locally made. The tour and info on how gin is made was really cool too. Probably the smoothest gin I've had.

Jimmy G.

Yelp
Was trying the brewery next door and decided to give this place a try. Generally not a fan of gins. However their chocolate or coffee liqueur was outstanding. Had to buy a bottle for home. Can't wait to make a smoothie with a shot of their chocolate liqueur. Friendly staff took the time to explain their process, options and give a sample of everything. Probably be back on my next trip to Austin.

Jennifer B.

Yelp
This place is amazing!! We've been to many tastings before, but this place was very informative and fun! Delicious gin!
