When I walked in, the older woman working the counter didn’t seem too interested in helping. She was on her phone and came off a little rude, like she didn’t really want to take my order. I ended up getting a combo for $15 — rice, beans, and what I thought was steak… turned out to be liver(my fault). Not really my thing, so I didn’t eat it.
I asked for something else and the younger woman working there recommended the pork chop. She was really nice, even gave me a lemon and said that’s the best way to eat it. And honestly, she was right — the pork chop was pretty good. Got a pastelillo and a soda ended up paying $30. Not too bad.
All in all, just an okay experience. Some good food, some not so great service. I’d give it another shot if I’m in the area, but I wouldn’t go out of my way.
