Where to Order a Manhattan in Denver This February | Eater

"On the sixth floor of the Thompson Hotel, Reynard Social is an alpine-inspired luxury lounge and vinyl listening room outfitted by local turntable company, Victrola. Offering vistas of LoDo’s glittering lights and the Rocky Mountains beyond, snag a seat by the fireplace to enjoy your Angel’s Envy Manhattan, a sure way to warm your bones. Reynard’s menu is inspired by flavors from around the globe, from East Asia to Latin America, with a playful take–think shrimp and hamachi crudo made with avocado, passion fruit, and plantain chips or their Mediterranean chicken meatballs, served with kale and tahini yogurt sauce." - Vox Creative

Reynard Social used to be one of my favorite cocktail bars in Denver - I even had my last birthday there! Since then - they've switched to a meeting and event venue only. I went recently for a local group meet up - it is a shell of what it used to be. It has no soul! This was a smaller event with about 15 people so this may skew my experience - however 15 people in that space is cavernous. There were no bar tenders behind the bar, just a limited side bar similar to what you'd see at your holiday party. Beer, Wine, Mixed drinks. The cocktail menus are gone! The entire place is dead. Such a shame - I really really liked Reynard Social. It was where I planned company happy hours, meet ups with friends and family in town, birthdays, etc. I suppose they are aiming to make this more of a wedding venue or company space, maybe they make more money that way, but it really is a shame.

We've come here a few times while staying at the Thompson and always enjoy the experience. Love the vibe, lots of seating areas that feel cozy, immaculate on the decor. If you go before 8pm for a quick drink or dinner you'll probably have the place to yourself. I have always had great servers who are personable and the perfect amount of attentive. This most recent trip we tried the burger, wings, fried cauliflower, and fries. The fried cauliflower was the favorite - perfect breading and loved the curry on top! The wings were well seasoned, a few were a bit dry but overall tasty. The burger and fries are nothing crazy but hit the spot and sustained us for the night out and about. It is on the pricier side but happy hour is until 7 and makes the drinks more reasonable.Definitely stop by if you want a fun place to have a drink or a few snacks. If you are staying at the Thompson, you can also use your $100 credit towards this restaurant which is what we always do, and that usually covers the whole meal and some drinks.

SUPER awesome views and spot. Absolutely love it. What a real treasure for this hotel. Staff is incredibly friendly and the food and drinks are 💯!!!! HIGHLY recommend. I had dinner there my first day in Denver (today).

Best cocktail spot in Denver!!! Catch Connor at the bar for a truly elevated cocktail experience. Seriously, a must stop for any cocktail enthusiast! They have so many great options I went bold and didn’t retreat it, but they have so many great options to choose from!

Amazing service and drinks! Jake was our server and recommended some delicious cocktails. He was very knowledgeable and attentive, and made it a great experience. The crispy cauliflower was also so tasty. You won’t be disappointed!

Really cute cocktail bar with great ambience but quite pricey for drinks. The fireplace didn’t work so that was a bummer. The food was okay, again a bit pricey for what you got. Definitely don’t recommend trying to eat a full meal here. Service was pretty good, and we were a large group so they took care of us.

Great setting to have drinks with friends and loved ones. Came here after visiting Red rock on a cold day in December, and it felt so warm, and relaxing with lite music and nice ambience! We had few drinks and yummy appetizers. Drinks were bitter than we'd have expected.

This is my favorite new cocktail bar in downtown Denver. The space large and is beautiful with comfortable and gorgeous furniture, multiple rooms including a pool table room. The view is spectacular, and there are windows throughout the floor for most guests to look outside. Their crafted cocktails are excellent and diverse. I appreciate the gender-neutral bathrooms too.
