The SantaCon Bar Crawl Will Take Over San Francisco in December | Eater SF

"I'm intrigued that RH Gallery, the rebranded Restoration Hardware, will open a three-story, 60,000-square-foot showroom in The Village at Corte Madera in early 2020; atop this temple to home goods will be a rooftop restaurant and a wine and coffee bar operated by the company itself, and the new Marin flagship might offer a preview of what to expect from RH's long-planned Pier 70 monolith." - Eve Batey

Google
A recent business trip on the way back from Sausalito offered a chance to experience the stunning RH Rooftop Restaurant at Restoration Hardware, Marin. I had been hearing about their rooftop restaurants from my sister for a few years now, and finally I got a chance to experience it myself. The rooftop restaurant is a chic, glass-enclosed venue, located on the third floor of the 60,000-square-foot RH Marin design gallery. Outstanding ambiance, surrounded by exquisite chandeliers, views, bubbling fountain, excellent menu and service. Shoutout to Keira, on the first floor of the gallery, who greeted me and made it a personalized experience, with her warm smile and engaging conversation!

Google
super expensive furniture, so I never look, but I have been to their rooftop restaurant before. I personally felt it was a bit overrated and a lot overpriced. It $24 for Burrata, $19 for an arugula salad, $22 for eggs and prosciutto, and whopping $20 for truffle fries!! you will also have to wait a while.

Google
Beautiful place. From the inviting entry, to the 2 levels of furnishers showroom and gorgeous roof top with water and mountain views. This place has a great ambiance. The food and service are good. The selection of wine is superb. Highly recommend especially around sunset.

Google
Incredible place to visit, even if you’re not furniture shopping. Nice way to get inspiration for your home and have a meal on the top floor while lounging by the fires. Restaurant prices are pretty reasonable too (can have an entree for $20-30).

Google
What an amazing experience! Visited the RH rooftop bar Sunday evening had drinks on the patio ended up having dinner. From the looks of the restaurant I thought it would be expensive. Reasonable priced dinner for 2 with three rounds $145. Better wine list than beer. Service was a little slow but the whole team was friendly. Recommend reservations we were told 2 hour wait ended up being more like an hour. When leaving we roamed the furniture store. Great pieces and prices can't wait to go shopping!

Love the ambeyounce in this place! The indoor live trees along with the fountains and chandeliers make a gorgeous setting. Good food and wine. This is a roof top must.

The new Restoration Hardware is now a mid-range furniture store. Expect lots of huge, ridiculous lighting fixtures and sectionals in monochrome and gold. Love gaudy chandeliers? RH is for you.

RE: RH online customer service. I wanted to buy a couch in a stocked fabric so I could return it (and just forfeit the shipping cost) if I didn't like it. I found several couches and fabric choices that qualified. However, I chose "down-feather" instead of the "standard" fill choice, and didn't notice that the couch no longer qualified as stock and instead entered into the "you lose 50% + tax" of the cost of the couch if you return it category. It is my fault for breezing through the page that agreed with the return policy. I bought the couch, then realized what had happened. I called customer service the next day. The first customer service rep was pushy about there being nothing that could be done, stating, "are you sure you want to talk to a manager even though there is nothing they can do?", to which I said yes. The manager then said she could reach out to the manufacturer who declined the request to cancel the order, before they even started making it. We recently received the couch, and it is an eye-sore, which I will be returning. However hard you try to fluff and smooth the pillows, they look nothing like the photo of the Cloud Two-Seat Cushion Sofa. I am disappointed in my mistake, for one, and that RH could not help. Perhaps if they had a higher quality of customer service, I wouldn't have lost over $3,000 as a result.

Yelp
Rooftop garden weekend brunch here when visiting the fam is one of the absolute bests! From the lovely architectural highlights to the welcoming staff and absolutely delish dishes, one walks into a delightful brunch experience every time at RH. I usually get the RH scramble - a blend of creamy rich - fresh farm eggs, crème fraiche, avocado, and chives. My brother gets the generously portioned roasted chicken club sandwich with no bacon or tomatoes, my sister-in-law gets the perfectly cooked petit filet, and my toddler nephew enjoys the chicken fingers and fries treat. Added experience - a scoop of vanilla ice cream or any of their dessert options. Can't compare the value of this unique style of a dining experience.

Yelp
What a beautiful restaurant. This is my first time at RH Corte Madera as I've been to the one in SF several times and visited Yountville too. We had the Muholland Drive salad, very similar to a Cobb salad. Cut in the finest cubes, ingredients were so fresh! Hubby had the steak & eggs. Very good

Yelp
Restoration Hardware is one of my favorite places to eat if it's available in the city that I'm visiting (come to DC, please!). This restaurant is located upstairs with a beautiful view accessible through the rooftop. We enjoyed a family friendly dining experience that was nothing short of being luxe. I enjoyed my go-to, the lobster roll, which was perfectly poached and buttered on toast. We also ordered the cheeseboard as an appetizer which was enough for the 4 adults to share. The star of the meal was the little gem salad which is probably one of my favorite salads in the world as it was crunchy, fresh, generous with avocado (is it because we're in California?!) and the buttermilk dressing was simply divine. I wish I could buy that dressing in a bottle! As with all of their restaurants, this location was nothing short of being aesthetically appealing and all of the furniture was carefully curated to enhance our dining experience. My baby sat in one of the RH branded high chairs and was happily chomping away at his food the whole time. Service was very friendly, especially with our young children. The staff was also helpful when we were navigating around with our double stroller.

Yelp
RH Rooftop Restaurant Marin is located at The Village at Corte Madera shopping mall so are tons of free and available parking. This restaurant is very beautiful with its upscaled decor. They have an outside patio area with a fire-pit to enjoy the stunning view of nature. The host and server were very attentive and nice, which was also a plus. In terms of food, I got a charcuterie board that was refreshing and paired perfectly with the white wine and mimosa 8/10, I also got the rotisserie chicken which was cooked perfectly and juicy 10/10, and lastly I had the lobster roll which was pleasantly good but nothing special 8/10. I really enjoyed the white wine and mimosas. It was smooth and refreshing 10/10. Just the aesthetics alone makes the whole experience worth wild.

Yelp
This place is absolutely gorgeous, the decor, the ambiance and the staff. This place will make you want to burn your home furnishings and start all over again. Definitely on the pricier side but everything looks like a piece of art.

Yelp
I mean, aesthetic alone gets 5 stars. Parking is abundant and no time limit. You walk through RH first and get to look through all their furniture on both the first and second floor before making your way all the way to the top for dining purposes. There's a marvelous chandelier in the middle of the space and a good amount of sunlight coming through every which way. I don't remember our server's name, but he was very attentive and patient through the meal. I opted for the sliced rib eye dip sandwich and my fiancé got their lobster roll. We both also opted for their matcha latte. - Sliced rib eye dip sandwich - bun were super hard, but the flavor was there and the dip did help soften the bread - Lobster roll - well seasoned, buttered nicely. I preferred this over the sliced rib eye - Hot matcha latte - it was okay, not too much matcha flavor Overall, the meal was fine. The ambiance was what really sold the experience.

Yelp
Very expensive. You're coming here for the vibe and a drink. I wouldn't order food here. The service was fine. We got an app that was very small and expensive. Definitely worth coming for a drink

Yelp
Such a beautiful furniture gallery/restaurant! Had a lovely day looking through the displays before hitting the rooftop restaurant for dinner. Menu items were a little limited but we ended up with a lot of food and it was all very delicious. I had the arugula salad and added lobster to it, I took half of it home and finished it the next day. Normally I can't eat leftover salad but this one was just as good as it was the night before. I'm crazing another one already! The crispy artichokes were unexpectedly good, I had imagined they would be whole artichokes but they were more like house-made artichoke chips. The prosciutto board was really good too. Everything is a really good quality. Even the lemonade was delicious! I usually only drink water with dinner but had to try the lemonade and it didn't disappoint! It was a perfect mix of sweet and sour, leaning more towards sour side which I prefer. I had a second glass! Unfortunately we didn't have room for any dessert so I guess we'll just have to go back again soon.

Yelp
Solid date spot or celebration place. I have been here for 2 birthdays where it was a perfect venue. Pictures look best on a sunny clear day but the nighttime lights are nice too if you can get the right lighting. Food was good but pricey. The ribeye was perfectly cooked and the mashed potatoes paired perfectly. Service and atmosphere is what I would pay to come back again. The waiters were always nice to take pictures for my party and very attentive.

Yelp
Came here for lunch with my family - the views and aesthetic was stunning. The restaurant is located on the top level. I would definitely recommend taking the elevator. The service was great and the food came out pretty quickly. We ordered the lobster roll, burger and wild mushrooms. The lobster roll was pretty good and I loved the bun but there was not much lobster in the roll itself. The burger was delicious and also the wild mushrooms. I feel like the food is overly priced for what your getting but love the ambiance of everything!

Yelp
Service was very good. Our waiter was nice and attentive and knowledgeable. The food was very good, well seasoned. My only comment here is to have food options that everyone can enjoy. I personally cannot eat red meat and I noted that of the 5 or so entree options, 3/4 were red meat based, another was pork, and one was chicken. That's my only complaint. Aside from that very beautifully decorated. There's no value money wise here. This is an expensive place that quickly adds up. This is not a negative but be prepared to spend some money when you eat here.

Yelp
This was my second visit to this restaurant. The fist time, I ordered a hamburger and it was delicious. This time I ordered at dinner the shaved ribeye au jus. The baguette was crunchy and delicious. However, the ribeye was very fatty and stringy. The au jus was served in a small bowl that had too small an opening to be able to dip the sandwich. Overall, a disappointment. I'll have the burger again next time. Service was great.

Yelp
We were lucky to secure a brunch reservation on the same day, to celebrate a friend's birthday. The ambience is stunning. The decor was exquisite... it had an indoor/outdoor vibe with foliage, stone fountains and chandelier! They do have an outdoor seating area, gorgeously decorated with RH outdoor furniture (of course). We were seated promptly for our 12:15PM reservation. We brought a cake for our celebrant, and the host graciously offered to hold the cake for us until we were ready. We were also informed there will be a $10 per person service charge (wow but OK, thanks for letting us know). Our server, YAS, was friendly, not pretentious and incredibly attentive. He often came to check in on us without being annoying. For starters, we had ARTISANAL PROSCIUTTO (we loved the warm baguette) & BURRATA (the roasted peppers, burrata and charred sourdough were perfect for each other!) For entrees, I had the GEM LETTUCE salad. The lettuce leaves were piled neatly on top of each other but I felt it was overly dressed with the herb buttermilk dressing. Might just be my preference though; I would get it again, with light dressing. The celebrant had the CAESAR salad, and we shared a side of Lobster. Other entrees of the table were: SHAVED RIBEYE ON CHARRED GARLIC BREAD & a LOBSTER ROLL. We also had a side of Truffle fries with aioli dip... that was super good too! When we were done with our meal, YAS (our server) brought out our cake, with candles, for the obligatory Happy Birthday serenade to our friend. He then brought the cake back to the kitchen and delivered our slices, and the rest of the cake. Gotta say, he did a great job slicing since the cake was a Burnt Almond crunch cake and we thought it was a bit tricky to slice with all the toppings. Of course we let him have a slice...! He even packed us some To-Go containers so everyone had a slice to bring home. Overall, I had a very pleasant experience here (kudos to YAS' great service!) I would definitely be back for another special occasion.

Yelp
Gorgeous rooftop dining! We tend to come here for lunch or cocktails anytime we are in the area. On this particular occasion we had the burratta with grilled bell peppers and the Chinese chicken salad with a cortado and iced latte. It was the perfect lunch! The food is simple in the best way, not taking away from the quality ingredients. The burratta had balsamic and honey and was perfect. Highly recommend for anyone needing a casual spot to catch up and enjoy the views of the surrounding hills.

Yelp
Came here for my friends birthday! Had an amazing time, the vibe was everything! Lighting was dim and a total mood! Restaurant is absolutely stunning, best part is you have to walk through the show room located on the 1st floor then take the elevator up to the restaurant. Our host was so friendly and recommended everything we ordered. ONLY BUMMER was they only serve wine and champagne, I dont drink either, which was fine but I sure would have enjoyed a martini! Lobster roll 3 out 5, lobster meat was fresh and they did provide a good amount but it had no flavor even after the lemon and butter was poured. Mushrooms, 5 out of 5, DELISH ", seasoned to perfection Truffle fries, 5 out of 5, just DEVINE (no explanation needed) Salmon, great serving size this was shared between two people, fresh, flavored to perfection, 5 out of 5 Mashed potatoes, a little to watery for my liking but still flavored very well 4 out of 5 Fried Artichokes, crispy, flavorful, large pieces of the artichoke hearts 4 out of 5 Burrata was an epic fail, the roasted peppers were mushy and over salted 1 out of 5 I would definitely go back, definitely going ttry the San Francisco location next!

Yelp
After all of the raving about this spot - my husband and I made our way to RH Corte Madera Sunday afternoon. It was a smaller rooftop than expected, but beautifully decorated. Service isn't incredible, wine wasn't that amazing either. We shared a shrimp cocktail and it was so fresh and tasty with the sauces. A good place to enjoy the views, but not worth the crazy raves in my humble opinion.
google avatar

Yelp
This restaurant is entirely a façade. From the menu to the knowledge (or lack there of) of their servers, this place is grossly overpriced and worth skipping. The way they frame the wording of their menu is hilarious. I will say the food is good and the ambiance is cool, but the service was mediocre. We started with 2 glasses of the Hourglass wine, which is now our new favorite (we found this wine inside a shop at the Ferry Building in San Fran for $50, btw). So, if nothing else, that was worth the trip here. We ordered the crispy artichokes and those were very yummy. We both ordered the "shaved ribeye on garlic bread" for $30 a pop.....also known as a French dip in the rest of the world. Just a sandwich. Waitress didn't know much about wine. We asked her some specific questions and she had to defer to another server. She acted like she did. I would just have appreciated more honesty instead of faking it. No need for dessert here when Cheesecake Factory is right across the street. Not worth the money.

Yelp
I was very stoked to find out that RH opened a restaurant location in Marin. This would be convenient for me so that I no longer would have to travel to the Yountville location. We made reservations at 8:30pm on a Tuesday for a party of approximately 10 guests (celebrating a birthday). While arriving on the property the building looked immaculate and it quickly grabs your attention away from the rest of the buildings in that parking lot. It almost feels like you're in Beverly Hills or something except it's Corte Madera. When you enter the building, the first and second floor is all Restoration Hardware home decor and the restaurant is actually on the third floor. When our party made it to the top we checked in with the host and informed them we had reservations for 8:30pm. A day prior we called and told them that we would like our tables to be together but apparently they did not save the note so we all waited about 15-20 minutes before we can be seated together. Now this is where our experience took a turn for the worst. Our waiter from hell arrived and I asked if we could open our champagne that we brought to the table. She told us that could be done and asked how many glasses we needed. She is described as a younger in her early 30s Latin/Caucasian woman with RED HAIR. I don't know her name, she never introduced herself and when I called RH to see if I can get her name as it pertains to a review they told me they don't give out names for privacy reasons so we'll just call her 'The Red Dragon'. If her attitude hasn't tightened up, trust me, it won't be hard to identify her. She did not brief us on whether or not there would be a corkage fee. We informed her that we are celebrating a birthday and her attitude was absolutely dryer than Arizonan air in the summertime. There were many issues with this waitress but I'll only address several. Oh and while taking our order she informed us that there was only one chicken left... how lovely. The first problem was the attitude and zero personality. Second problem was communication. I specifically asked her for ranch and bbq sauce and she cut me off by saying "ok ok". She came back to our table after 10 minutes and I asked her about my bbq sauce and ranch and she replied "we don't have ranch or bbq sauce but I can get you ketchup". Ma'am... you could have told me that in the beginning when I initially asked you. Lastly we wanted her to separate the bill so I walked up to and told her. She told me that can be done. I go to the bathroom and come back to my table and my friends give me a pen and the receipt. I'm puzzled, they tell me "the waitress told us that you wanted a pen to separate the bill" *FACE PALM* I never once told her that, lazy much? But I'll separate the bill myself. So, the FOOD! Prices are high but that's to be expected. I ordered the ribeye cooked medium which was great but unfortunately all in all, our experience at RH Martin was overshadowed by the poor customer service and it's a complete turn off. No one at our table will be returning to this location in near future. Oh and about the corkage fee that we didn't know about, it was added to our bill. We have no problem paying but at least inform us that there is a fee if we bring our own bottle. I don't mean to come down on this young lady, she could of had a bad day and I'm not sure what she's going through but the service at this tier of a restaurant is unacceptable, you can get better customer service at the McDonald's on 98th Ave and International Blvd in East Oakland, CA.

Yelp
Perfect restaurant to dine at for Valentines Day! Many couples were flocking in to experience the beautiful stairway full of chandeliers and wall decor. The restaurant greets you with Olive trees, more chandeliers, and a fountain that sets the atmosphere. There is a bar that you may order from and outdoor fire pits you're welcome to solicit while you wait to be seated. Also ok to sit here and lounge around after your dinner. The food here was great and we took to Yelp reviewers to decided what our choices would be. Prices are between $$-$$$ but I feel the food spoke for itself. We were sat next to the fountain, though it was beautiful, I didn't like how to water constantly splashed on me. I just moved my legs away but by the end of the meal my coat hanging on my chair was pretty wet. So try not to sit there if you can avoid it! Service was ok ~ We weren't sure if the waiter liked or disliked us. He definitely was not interested in doing small talk nor cared for pleasantries. We did discover an issue which I'll explain later. Keep reading! Our order + review: 1. Bottle of Pinot noir Was ~$75 - we googled and was ~$30 bottle retail price. Not sure how much restaurants usually up their prices but it was delicious. I enjoy varieties from Mendocino county. 2. Fried artichoke (5/5) So good! It comes with a garlic citrus aioli, lemon wedge, mix of artichoke hearts and potato slices. It was crispy and the right amount of flavors 3. Burrata sourdough bread toast with roasted sweet peppers (4/5) Yummy. The burrata has a light cheese flavor and the peppers added good roasted sweetness to it. Good for two people. Made me a little full before the entree. 4. Wild Mushrooms (5/5) This was good and it was a great pair for our entree (half roasted chicken). I noticed the mushroom medley included trumpet, maitake, and beech mushrooms. 5. Yukon Gold mashed potatoes (5/5) Creamy, cheesy yummy-ness. Potatoes are my bias so I LOVED IT 6. Half roasted chicken (4/5) Now there were a lot of people talking about this dish. It was big enough to share so we did. The chicken laid on top of mashed potatoes (didn't know it would come with this) and a sauce. The sauce (sorry I cannot recall the flavors of it) helped flavor the chicken and the mashed potatoes but I did think it was a little too salty for me. The chicken was a little dry so it wasn't as moist and tender as I would like. Still good. Now for some drama ~ As we ended the night paying for the bill the waiter came back holding two envelops with our card/receipt. He seemed to be confused as to which one belong to us. We thought that was odd but didn't think anything of it b/c he gave us the correct one. The following day, we noticed an EXTRA charge from RH in addition to our meal. Called the restaurant and found out that the waiter DOUBLE CHARGED our card! It could have been an honest mistake but WTH ~ the other table got away with a free meal funded by us. Not a good look. Currently dealing with our card company to dispute the issue.

Yelp
It's got the beauty and the aesthetics! Totally enjoying coming here and dining at the Rooftop! It's the whole experience and ambiance that makes me want to come back over and over again !

Yelp
Food is top notch along with the decor. Blown away. It was definitely my first time and will not be my last. The rib eye steak was great along with the truffle fries and wine. Cheeseboard and bread is to die for as well. A great place to hang out with family and friends.

Yelp
My partner and I had a lovely late lunch here, and enjoyed it very much. It really feels like fine dining in NYC, with chandeliers and impeccable interior design, as you would expect from RH. Service was flawless. The food and wine did not disappoint. There also is a wine and coffee bar with plenty of outdoor seating, so this is also a great spot to meet friends and just relax together.
google avatar

Jaime N.

Yelp
Great vibe and service. Great for a datenight. Shaved Ribeye was better than the lobster roll, which needed more seasoning. Both were average. The truffle fries were really good and I would definitely order this again.

Yelp
Beautiful decor and vibe with stunning lamp fixtures and classy home decor/furniture. There's also a restaurant on site with many veg options. A little on the pricey side, but very tasty. Recommended for special occasions!

Yelp
Hidden gem! A bit far from Danville but worth the drive! Food was fresh and yummy! The views, and decor OMG!! I love the decor so much that I have a mini replica in my patio! Will plan another outing here soon!

Yelp
My grandparents, boyfriend, and I came here for a little birthday lunch on a Friday afternoon and had such a wonderful time. The decoration and ambience are so beautiful. We shared the truffle fries and prosciutto plate, they were both amazing. I had the gem lettuce salad and added shrimp on top, it was delicious! Everyone greatly enjoyed their meals. Our waiter, Yas, was very attentive and kind. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Yelp
We were lucky enough to have dinner at RH last Saturday night. The restaurant was very crowded with many people celebrating Mother's Day weekend. The food was excellent -- especially the artichoke starter. Some of the dishes felt a little overpriced, but we did have (and share) starters, sides, entrees, some drinks and dessert for less than $100/person, so plenty of food overall. I am really writing today because our server was so awesome. I wish I had caught his name! He was so pleasant, able to offer really good recommendations, honor our requests, and generally made us feel very well cared for even though it was so busy. Thank you for making our celebratory dinner even more so!

Yelp
Beautiful atmosphere and super tasty food. Ample parking out front. The first two floors are showrooms and there are other shops nearby if you want to walk off some of the calories after your meal.

Yelp
If I could give 100,000,000 stars, that still wouldn't be enough stars. The restaurant space is huge and gorgeous. It was great to see it fully occupied. The Little Gem Salad with Avocado was indescribably DELICIOUS. We will be talking about that salad for a very long time. It was so good. My scrambled eggs were moist and bursting with flavor. Even the iced tea was top drawer. Service was wonderful. The manager was kind and amazing. I can't wait to return, soon, very soon. BRAVO!!!! A+++++

Yelp
Tasty food, beautiful atmosphere, regularly priced for a nice spot in marin :) I had the shaved ribeye sandwich- it was excellent. RH impressed me! Better food than I was expecting honestly

Tommy S.

Yelp
Made our way here to celebrate my birthday without kids. I'll start by saying the ambiance is stunning yet casual and the rooftop setting makes you feel like you're somewhere else. We got there early so we had a glass of wine outside which kicked off the night on the right foot. We got seated for dinner next to the fountain. We didn't get as much splash back as other tables so we enjoyed our location. The food was perfection. We decided to get two apps since we don't get out much and came hungry with indecision. Fried artichoke and cheese plate took our eyes at first glance. Genuinely liked both but could have done without the cheese plate, pretty basic (no pic). We then shared the little gem salad and that is a must, and a great recommendation from friends. For our main courses I got the shaved ribeye dip and my wife got the RH burger. The ribeye dip had such great flavor and cooked to perfection. Both were delicious and we shared the truffle fries with our sandwiches. Since I have a sweet tooth and love chocolate we ended the meal with the warm chocolate chip cookies and a side of vanilla ice cream. Overall, a little on the pricey side but it was all well executed fresh food. The wine list was pretty good too. Service was on point and we will definitely be back.

Yelp
If you have never been you must go! The views are amazing. The service is great! All though the selection is limited the food is great! Especially the burger! Yes it's on the price is on the higher end but worth going.

Yelp
Gorgeous place but blasé attitude by the hostess. After some strolling around, my friend and I decided to stop by for a bite around 2:30/3:00 pm. The place was busy but there were still tables available, and it was almost empty outside. When she finally graced us with her attention, the young hostess sized us up, fluttered her enormous fake eyelashes, and announced that without a reservation the wait would be 2 hours. Next! We could not even pick up a glass of wine at the bar and sit on the terrace. I have been to this place before and sat outside while enjoying a drink but I don't think I will be back to Marin's RH. I'll stay in the The City. There are better places with much less attitude.

Definitely a gorgeous brunch spot! My friend and I decided to try this spot out for her birthday and were overall not disappointed!! Amazing indoor classy vibe and the food was delicious! We like to split so we can try a lot of options so we got the grilled cheese, truffle French fries, pomme purée, rib eye on charred garlic bread, lobster roll and ended with the vanilla gelato and celebration chocolate chip cookie. I wish they had more breakfast options for a true brunch, but we will definitely be going back! My friend loved the chai she got and I had a lovely earl gray tea. The only downside was we were in a more private corner(we requested it) but the server didn't check on us to make sure our water was refilled until we called him over. It was starting to pick up but we still needed to have something to drink with our meal. Will absolutely go back and try some same items and try others!

Yelp
The food is delicious and the decor is stunning! We had the most incredible dinner celebrating my birthday with 3 generations. Grandma, Mom and Daughter! II wanted to write this review because Mari, the manager, is so wonderful! She was so kind and helped make it a really special celebration! She is amazing at her job and such a special person! Thank you, Mari, for this amazing memory you helped us create! Our server, Chris, was amazing! A wonderful experience all around! We will absolutely be back soon! Delicious! Beautiful! Great vibe! Incredible Staff! Thank you for making my birthday so memorable!

Yelp
Giving this a low rating due to the service that was provided. This was my first time dining at this restaurant. I had seen it posted all over social media. Walking in we were ignored by the hostesses, the restaurant wasn't busy and we went at around 3pm. My family and I didn't receive any attention until the manager saw us and got us a table. When ordering our food, my family and I informed the staff that I had an allergy to avocado. Reason we told them this is because one of the salads we were going to order had avocado. We requested that the avocado just be put on the side, on another plate. They told us there wouldn't be any issue. Three times we had to return the salad and remind them that we requested it on the side due to an allergy. The atmosphere was great, very clean. Food came fast and it was pretty good (mainly ordered appetizers). The gelato was AMAZING. If you're looking for a cool place to take pics and post Instagram photos, this is it! I'm willing to give the restaurant one more chance.

Yelp
Just had our first brunch here on a Sunday with the family. The atmosphere is breathtaking with the beautiful scenery, furniture, water feature, and olive trees. The food was fantastic as well. I recommend the cheese, bread, grape platted as a starter. The truffle fries were delicious. The best part about our time here was our fabulous server Michael. Not only was he so sweet, but his patience and knowledge of the menu was incredible. I highly recommend this establishment.

Yelp
I recently visited Restoration Hardware Restaurant at The Village for my 64th birthday. The meal, drinks and ambiance was amazing. But, what made our evening really special was the service provided by our server, Rolando. He was charming and attentive. My date and I were astonished by his personality and professionalism. I will go back and definitely request one of his tables. A+++

Yelp
Food: 10/10 We always order the cheese plate with this gooey soft Brie like cheese with lots of fresh cracked peppers, freshly baked bread and grapes. Our kids also love the burger which we order plain but they go nuts for the soft brioche bun. Love that they can just do cheese, meat and bun so that it's kid friendly. Please note that the burger does not come with fries but the plain fries were better than the truffle fries . Too much Parmesan which hides the truffle. Also if you have a seafood allergy these fries are safe :) no cross contamination and the staff is good about letting the chef know. The star of the meal is def the soft scrambled eggs and always add the shaved winter truffles. They are not stingy with the truffles. They serve it with toasted bread, soft butter with coarse salt, 1/2 avocado with olive oil, s+p. Def worth $50 bucks. If you still have room I highly recommend ordering the chocolate chip cookies which are warm, gooey and not too sweet. Service: our wait staff has always been 10/10. Every server has offered to take pics for our group and is super attentive. They even have these fancy padded high chairs for kids which my kids loved since they were so comfy. When you go to the bar to get a drink to wait for your table they are knowledgeable to help you find the right drink and bring it out if you go to the outdoor patio area. Check in: this is the only part where it does not shine. We were in the parking lot trying to unload the kids and were ten mins late past our grace period. Our table was given away despite us calling twice. We ended having to wait 30 minutes for a table. Parking is free and plentiful. No complaints. It is a pricey place for brunch but the views and ambience and food are well worth the trek.

Yelp
Food ok but ridiculous management at multi-hierarchical levels... so things do not flow right. Worse thing for me was a statement of who took care of our two-person party as we got seated:"please try to make your dinner in 1 hour and a half", while we had a reservation. How that would make anyone feel? Then, the service did not follow if they wanted us to leave in 90 minutes. Food was good. It is overpriced in general. Will not go back. Would not recommend. Too bad, there are nice views up there.

Yelp
The Restoration Hardward (RH) restaurant in Corte Madera is located on the rooftop of the Restoration Hardware at the Gallery at the Village. I had a lovely afternoon hear dining with some girlfriends. The restaurant concept is very open with sliding glass doors that open to the outside deck that was stocked with RH couches and tables (but there were no diners outside and we were not offered an outdoor table). The restaurant is decorated with a lot of greenery, modern crystal chandeliers, and white cushioned low booths. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, the ambience and drinks, but I found the price to be quite steep (even for a CA restaurant!) Salads are $19 and that's before you add the protein (another $16). The portions are very average....we all ate most of the salad with nothing to take home. I will also note that we also had a delicious cheeseboard, but it only came with three slices of bread.......for four of us. And there was still more than 2/3s of the cheese left. Did they expect us to finish the cheese with our forks??? One other note, we originally had reservations for 3 people at 12pm. We called the hostess when we arrived at 11:30 to say we were early and we wanted to add a 4th person. We told her we were available right away or we could shop and wait until they could accommodate us. She said she wasn't sure she was going to be able to accommodate us at all??? Because they onlly have triangle tables? Having worked in a restaurant, I know that it is not a problem to add a 4th to a 4-top. It's not like we were asking to change from a 2-top to a 4-top that was already designated for someone else. It was all very confusing. But she did call us back 30 mins later and tell us she had a table for us. But all in all, it was a beautiful afternoon.

Yelp
This location is phenomenal. The views are breathtaking and so romantic. In the middle of the restaurant is a fountain. beautiful decor/ambiance, great vibe/atmosphere. Please note, my friends said your entire party must be present before they will seat you. I hope you enjoy RH Rooftop as much as we did.

Yelp
If I could leave 0 stars I would. This place is trasssssssh. Came here for a friend's birthday party tonight, ordered drinks, was having a great time until sever told us we had to hurry up, as our reservation was for 1.5 hours. Even worse, were told we had to order food, after one hour, otherwise we would be escorted out. Never again will I EVER spend my hard earned money on a place like this. Trashhhhhhhhh. Oh, and you can't even bring your own birthday cake, otherwise you get charged $10 per person to eat a cake lmaooo. Trashhhhhhhhh.
