Staff was friendly and sat us sooner than our reservation. Waitress was wonderful. Service was incredible. Food was some of the tastiest I've had. I can see why people rave about this restaurant. Prices were high but that's to be expected at a restaurant of this caliber, reputation and zip code. On the reservation, I had put this was a celebratory dinner for my daughter. Although we were too full to engage in dessert, the waitress brought us complementary cookies to take home and took a moment to congratulate her and acknowledging that this was a celebratory dinner.

Amazing place to be in for a formal or informal lunch or dinner. This place is always buzzing and booked. The food taste and quality is great. Expect slight delay in service considering peak hours. The restaurant is at the top floor.

The RH store in Palo Alto is beautiful! The furniture and showroom feel so luxurious, and I really enjoyed walking around and seeing all the designs. It feels like you can learn a lot about current trends just by visiting. The atmosphere is very comfortable, and I loved the overall experience. Definitely worth checking out if you like luxury interiors.

Loved our brunch here. Very similar to other RH in the bay area, great atmosphere, delicious food and great service. Especially recommend the buratta, crispy artichoke, and the chicken sandwich. Reservation recommended especially for weekends and special occasions.

I had a very disappointing experience with RH. I placed a special order sofa at the end of January and received it in March, only to find that the side pillows were missing. RH told me the vendor “forgot” to make them, and I would need to wait another three months. By June, I still hadn’t heard anything. When I called again, I was shocked to learn they had once again “forgotten” about my order, and I would need to wait another two months. Finally, after endless delays, I only received the pillows in August — more than half a year after my initial purchase. For a luxury brand at this price point, the lack of professionalism and accountability is unacceptable. The repeated mistakes, zero proactive communication, and constant need for me to chase updates made the whole process incredibly frustrating. RH really needs to reflect on its quality control and customer service.

Loved the decor here as always. High quality pieces. Ordered some furniture items online but we should’ve done them in the store since everyone was so nice. Delivery teams are always great. We just walked passed a quilt and it felt so soft, couldn’t resist so we bought the quilt from here and it was all very easy. The restaurant at the top floor is convenient. Nice for a date, nothing overly fancy but some people do get dressed others not so much. Food is mediocre, it was fine. Desserts were overly sweet and no depth. But otherwise, we enjoyed our date. Service at the restaurant was a bit lacking since they seemed understaffed.

I visited RH Restaurant Palo Alto on 8/3. Although the food took longer than expected and came out a little cold, our server handled the situation exceptionally well. He offered us drinks while we waited and was very professional and kind throughout. To make up for the delay, he gave us almost 50% off the bill, which was a pleasant surprise. His great attitude and service really stood out and made the overall experience enjoyable. Beautiful ambiance and excellent customer care—I’ll definitely be back!

Wow! Stunning new showroom. I want one of everything. Love the astetics. However Not sure how practical all the white would be for us. Friendly helpful staff. The rooftop is stunning and inviting. Can't wait to come back and enjoy a meal or sip a glass of champagne here. Very nice for opening day!

this is for the RH store not the restaurant which has a separate yelp page beautiful space with large outdoor patio furniture sets you can hangout and test out. sooo comfortable. i always dream about having that piece in my yard whenever i sit on them. dream of the life. store is elegant and clean. very comfortable. no pushy sales. approach a staff person if you want to purchase.

9/15/24 My husband and I treated my mom at RH Palo Alto for her birthday. She mentioned that she has been to the RH up in the north bay and she enjoyed the food there, so she wanted to try out the Palo Alto location. This was my first time going to RH. There is an RH near where I work in San Francisco, but I have never been inside. What RH is, it's a high-end furniture store with a rooftop restaurant. The prices for the furniture are too expensive for my taste, but everything there is very elegant and pristine. I had made a reservation online and we were seated promptly after checking in. Here's what we got: - roadside lobster (mom) - Grilled shrimp (share). - Fried chicken sandwich + sweet potato fries (mine) - tri - tip sandwich (his) - matcha latte (dessert) - butterscotch creme brûlée (dessert) The food did take some time to come out, maybe 20 minutes or so. The shrimps came out first. They were fairly large and tasted great, not overcooked at all. A few minutes later, the rest of the entrees arrived. Zach said that he enjoyed his sandwich. My chicken sandwich was just okay, nothing outstanding. The sweet potato fries though were really good, light and not too crispy. The rosemary mayo(?) that came with the fries was a delicious change from the usual ketchup dip. My mom said that she wished her sandwich was bigger, but tasted fine. My mom also got the butterscotch creme brûlée for dessert. It was too sweet for my mom so I ended up eating the whole thing. The matcha drink that I got for dessert was not too sweet and a perfect ending to our meal. But since I ate the creme brulee my mom wanted the matcha so I'm glad I at least got a few sips before she had the rest. Overall, I'd say the food at RH was decent. Maybe due to the aesthetics of RH, I was expecting the food to taste better.

We purchased a very large quantity of outdoor metal furniture in 2009 from when RH was on University. Over the years, there's been quite a lot of chipping, so I went to the store to find out how to get it fixed, since we were told this expensive furniture came with a lifetime warranty (the purchase price was about $13,000, and those are 2009 dollars!) After a long wait, I was finally put in touch with Matt MaGill. I gave him the original receipt, explained the situation, and he promised he'd discuss it with his team and get back to me. Over the course of the week, I had to keep checking in with him repeatedly to get a response. He finally wound up saying they weren't going to do a single thing for me; he only suggested I contact a repair shop and pay them to fix it. I was pretty stunned, so I suggested as a compromise he give me some kind of discount so I can purchase new cushions for the furniture to at least make it look better. In spite of repeated requests, he simply ignored the email without the courtesy of a reply. Suffice it so say, I will NEVER be going business with RH again. VERY disappointing, particularly since I bought so much of their stuff in the past.

What a lovely RH! We had lunch at their restaurant- the stars were the branzino, kale caesar salad, and their truffle fries On the pricey side, but definitely an elegant experience.

This restaurant is so pretty! It's also lively and has a slightly upscale vibe. There are also two outdoor rooftop terraces on either side that you can sit and lounge in, which seemed like open seating. The food was overall pretty good. The gem salad was really fresh and had the perfect amount of dressing tossed with it. The shaved ribeye dip was perfectly cooked and I loved the au jus. Sweet potato fries were pretty standard. However, expect to PAY $$$. This place is not reasonably priced .... $10 for just the sweet potato fries, it was $20 for truffle fries, which is pretty ridiculous. And that the sandwich didn't come with any sides at all. The actual service was really good with attentive servers. The weird part was getting seated. There were obviously multiple, available tables yet the hostess told us that it would be a 2 hour wait. We were going to find something else when I looked online and every time was open for reservations so I made one within the next 15 minutes. When we came back, the hostess had a somewhat strange reaction yet ended up seating us. I don't want to overly speculate as to why this happened but I guess the moral of the story is to make reservations.

I came here to celebrate a very special milestone for my brother, who just passed a major exam. When I made a reservation and before being seated, I asked if they did anything for special occasions and was told yes. I've always gone to their Corte Madera location and have never had any issues there -- I always leave happy and well taken care of -- so I expected the same level of service. Instead, I spent the entire meal waiting for something simple that was promised. I reminded the staff at least four times, and they still never brought out anything to acknowledge the celebration. It really took away from the experience. On top of that, the appetizer plates were dirty and had to be replaced. The service overall was disappointing -- our server barely checked in on us and had very low energy throughout the meal. For a place that claims to accommodate special occasions, this visit fell far below expectations. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend this location if you're looking for good service or any effort toward making a moment feel special.

I had a great time for brunch when I visited this gorgeous restaurant last weekend. I've been to the Yountville location many times but I really loved the ambiance of the Palo Alto location. Both locations are gorgeous but Yountville is smaller and more intimate while the Palo Alto location felt like it had more of a wow factor. Located on the rooftop of the furniture gallery, the all glass ceiling felt like you were dining outdoors. The olive trees along with the neutral color palette and the gorgeous crystal chandeliers gave this restaurant its signature RH stamp. Although service was a tad bit slow, it was still well worth the visit and not worth knocking any stars off. Anyone who's been to an RH restaurant knows the menu is limited but they did add a few new brunch items. The truffle fries is always a winner here. I also recommend the crispy artichokes. (Ask for extra aioli on the side!) The Aussie steak was flavorful and well prepared although the steak portion was small. The greens comes with no dressing but you can ask for dressing on the side. The chicken sandwich was moist and crispy and instead of the plain mayo I asked for garlic aioli. They don't serve hard liquor here but I recommend the rose spritz which is delicious, light, and refreshing. It's probably the most bang for your bang since the other speciality cocktails come in champagne flutes while the rose spritz is in a wine glass. Restaurants like RH Palo Alto you aren't just paying for the food, you are paying for the whole experience. The overall aesthetic and vibe of RH Palo Alto is exactly that- an experience worth trying. I'll definitely be back and I can't wait to check out the Mill Valley location next!

Everything is the same...huge space, but very limited living room chairs, leather arm chairs, lounge chairs, etc. I guess it would be good to custom order items if you know what you want as they have lots of samples of materials. Wasted opportunity to engage the public'.

5 star service. -4 star food = 1 star Horrible value. As a 'fine dining' restaurant you should expect to eat something other than burgers, sandwiches, and pancakes. But apparently they don't want you to. Everything we ordered from the grill was charcoal. Beyond burnt. We brought it up to the manager and they said it was charred on purpose. So your steaks are supposed to be burnt so it only tastes bitter? Just look at the photos. Charred veggie salad was charcoal. Even their toast with charred peppers with mozzarella was BURNT. HOW IS A FINE DINING RESTAURANT BURNING TOAST. We told the waiter and he had them make another round of toast. AND IT WAS STILL BURNT. They tried to hide it by flipping it upside down so we only saw the unburnt side at the table as if we wouldn't flip it over. Mashed potatoes and truffle fries were over priced. Could easily go to another restaurant and get something better for half the price. Their loaf of bread with butter was good. Good service though. I'm not blaming the waiter. The service was good. This was a first for me. We ended up having to talk to the manager and got 4/8 items voided because it was inedible. I've never ever done this before in my life.

This is for the Restaurant. A little confusing to find as located in Stanford Mall and is a bit of drive in circles to find. Anyway, found the location... and it's beautiful. The skylights, marble tables, white and gold decorations, beautiful chandeliers.... simply beautiful restaurant. Love the individual bathroom stalls... classy design. -Service was exceptional! Was fortunate to have Daniel as our helper of the day. He was attentive and an exceptional waiter. He explained dishes and assured everything was going well. - Food for lunch for two: At the table was order of a salad w/ salmon, hamburger.& prushetta with bread plate. Salmon addition was approx 3 oz for additional +$18. All in all, no complaints with actual food. Took off one star because The salad I ordered came with Romaine and iceberg lettuce. I requested no iceberg... kitchen came back and said they couldn't remove iceberg as salads premade. Not normal to not be able to remove an item. When salad comes out, it's a medium small bowl of diced up ingredients on a small bed if lettuce. Really... no reason they shouldn't have been able to remove the iceberg. With that said...I enjoyed the salad and my guest enjoyed the hamburger. The appetizer prushetta was gone, but the real star was the bread. Fresh/ warm/ delicious bread. Bill was ridiculously high at $113 without tip... and no drinks. I would still come here because it's a beautiful space. I just feel the kitchen could do better, when charging top dollar. Sharine

RH Restaurant is a great place for lunch or dinner with friends or family. I give 5 stars for the ambiance and vibe. The staff was friendly and attentive we were seated promptly . At this time Reservations recommended at least for 2 weeks ahead of time . We ordered Truffle fries, Grilled avocado with caviar ($50. For half of the avocado..pricey) Mini lobster roll and caviar each tiny roll $ 20. The Chinese chicken salad was okay but chicken meat was dried out. The ribeye steak was good, whole grilled Branzino was okay nothing special. Besides the main dishes we ordered many sides dishes were good. 3* for the food 5* for service and ambiance. I think it's overpriced because of the beautiful chandelier decor and fountain water pump and fireplace for outdoor seating.

What a waste of space. All that super expensive (overpriced) furniture. I do OK for myself but would never pay $12,000 for a meh couch that is just as comfortable as one I could get elsewhere. Or would I pay $1200 for a floor lamp I could get for $60 on Amazon. For the life of me, I can't figure out what makes this furniture so expensive, other than maybe because it's made is the USA (which is good), and they have to pay for US wages and materials. We've found the same styles elsewhere for a fraction of the cost. And what really gets me is that we were hard pressed to find any associates. Not one person asked us if we needed help, and we were there for quite a while, and I think we were the only ones there for at least 20 min. And the one couple we did see, was just wasting time before their reservations at the (nice) restaurant on the roof. How this place stays in business is beyond me.

We purchased a bed from RH Palo Alto and had it delivered via their White Glove Delivery service. The bed was delivered and installed very nicely. However, when we slept on the bed there was squeaking noises that was very irritating. We contacted RH and they scheduled a service person to come out on Thursday 10/2/2025 by 9 am. Thursday came and I received call from my wife at noon saying no one from RH called or showed up for the scheduled appointment. My wife then sent an email to Jacqueline Fay the Design Consultant that we purchased the bed from to see what is the status of the service. Fay responded immediately and said that she would reach out to delivery and they should respond within the hour. 2pm came by and we did not hear from any one from RH and my wife sent an email to Fay letting her know that she was not happy with the service from RH since they are a tier 1 furniture store. I was cc'ed on the email and responded to Fay as well but in a more passionate manner than my wife's email. Since Fay was only the messenger, I did not want to put the blame on her but asked her to perform some customer service for us before I go on a full rage with their management team. Note for the prices that customers are paying at RH the customer service should be on par - Tier 1 or better as their products. My passionate email to Fay was sent at 2:15pm and within 1/2 later, I received a text from my wife saying that someone from RH is at our house taking care of the bed. We would like to thank Jacqueline and let her know that we appreciated her effort for going the extra mile to make a customer happy. I'm still old school and believe in companies that provide excellent customer service and what Jacqueline did for us will keep us coming back to RH.

5 stars for the ambience and vibes. 2 stars for the food which is okay and overpriced. We ordered the shrimp appetizer and all 4 pieces were over charred. The truffle fries ($20) were good but not amazing. The Pierre Sparr Rose was refreshing. The service was good.

As long as you know what you're signing up for (a nice ambiance, expensive average food) the RH restaurant is a fun experience. I actually liked my prawn salad albeit imo it could have been slightly lighter for the salad dressing.

Walked in for their wine bar and sat on the terrance. We each got one peach bellini and one glass of Zinfandel. Peach juice in the bellini was the best part. Zinfandel was just ok. Service was polite if a lil chaotic due to the amount of customers. Pricey for drinks but nice setting.

Restaurant was incredible! Came on a Monday around 2pm with my wife and we were seated right away without a reservation. Service was attentive and polite. Got the cheese plate, omg the bread had the perfect crunch on the outside and was nice and soft and fluffy on the inside served hot and fresh. The cheese was somehow melty in the center and paired perfectly with the brew and strawberry preserves and grapes. The fried chicken sandwich was basic but the chicken was cooked well and had good breading. The Chinese chicken salad was great as well, my wife is vegetarian and got it without chicken, she really liked it. Overall for the fancy vibes, good food and service I give it 5 stars!

Perfect place with my girlies! Service was awesome, everyone's professional and attentive. We truly enjoyed their menu. Although I wish they will habe a slight variety of menu per location. The little open rooftop for after brunch is erfect to hang out in and sip our coffee or light drinks! Place is not cheap but worrg it. We enjoyed the clean and savory food selection I especially loved the caviar "mini taco" , truffle fries and the kale salad.

I have only purchased stuff from RH online. while RH's store and design gallery is beautiful , the customer service here is non existent and dissapointing. With a store of this magnitude and a handful of sales people on the floor doing nothing, i passed by a few of them and not a hello from any of them. Who manages this gallery store ? O stars for service in the gallery or at least acknowledging humans in the store. I've never felt so invisible . Lol Lunch on the rooftop was a 5 star experience though. Great service, beautiful ambiance, delicious roadside lobster roll, truffle fries and Aussie steak and eggs. We also each had a healthy fresh green juice. Whoever manages those lazy or perhaps stuck up sales people downstairs should learn from the RH rooftop manager upstairs.

The restaurant had just opened 3 days prior to our reservation for my birthday. The staff was extremely polished and very attentive, as well as meticulous with each table/customer. The ambiance of this spot was particularly memorable as it left you with an incredibly tranquil feeling, almost as if you had stepped into a world-class wellness center. Wine selection was outstanding, as were the appetizers. I had previously tried their burger at the Marin location and was really looking forward to recreating the same experience here, but unfortunately, it was really undercooked and just missed the mark. Our waiter was very accommodating and apologized on behalf of the kitchen, handling the matter very professionally. Things happen , especially when a restaurant is still newly opened and operating. I look forward to coming back soon and regularly. Beautiful spot!

What's with the poor reviews? I thought this place was great. No sales people following you or pressuring you into buying anything, but still available in case you wanted to speak to someone. Plenty of places to sit, both indoor and outdoor. Nice restaurant on top floor, unfortunately was booked out but the workers were super friendly and gave us tips on how to secure a spot for a future visit.

Not only are the staff here arrogant and dismissive of customers, they mislead you prior to closing a sale. I spent $10,000 with RH under the assumption I was receiving a complete product which would be expertly put in place by their "white glove" team. Instead, I got pieces which require expensive, expert assembly. Might as well go to IKEA!

Yesterday my Friends and I go there for her pre Birthday my advice is make a reservation all the time the restaurant is not as big as SF its limited but the ambience and the food is amazing our waitress is very nice and accommodating. The food is great reasonable price we want to go back again at night . The cream brûlée is is the best . Everything we order we enjoy it. The menu is very simple but the food and the selection is great I order wine procecco peach puree less alcohol it's delicious.

This place is a total show! Not classy at all, a bunch of people going to for the pictures and disturbing other clients at the restaurant, a bunch of people working in their computers on the garden with a cup from Starbucks !!!!! Looks more like a cheap coffee shop, it s not a WEWORK, but that's how it looks. People around more interesting on taking pictures than really having a conversation or nice diner, was definitely disturbing! And the sound it is terrible! If you can avoid this place at all cost!

Amazing place! It is a real treat to go there for lunch with friends. Wonderful atmosphere and ambience! Expensive? Yes! But all really special things are. Food is OK. Have to try again to be a judge. The only thing I would complain about is, it is - the noise. It's very noisy. Otherwise it is very impressive. Would recommend it highly !

The design services, delivery and customer support are top notch! We ordered $60K worth of furniture and were satisfied with every item. I also appreciated the follow up by the Customer Support post-delivery and installation, making sure there were no issues. It was fairly easy to get a timely replacement for a slightly defective item. The only disappointment was the long wait for the special order sofa. It took 4 months to get it! I understand the supply chain challenges especially post-Covid and would still give RH 5 star for overall experience.

It's about time they opened a Restoration Hardware with a restaurant inside. WOW- this place is gorgeous! Making reservations online is easy but it fills up quick even if you reserve one week ahead of time. The service is friendly, I very much appreciate the employees. Now for the food...It's yummy but I kinda feel like I'm getting ripped off. The portion of my lobster roll is good but I wish it already came with a side instead ordering it as an a la carte. I agree with some of the reviews on here that the food options is too simple and casual for luxury dining. The caviar option is nice though. This place just opened so I will give it another chance just because I love the ambience.

Our group had made reservations two weeks prior to our planned gathering for Tuesday, 12/17. When we checked in on time for our 1:00 reservation, we were informed of a "kitchen problem" that would result in a 30 to 40-minute delay before we could even be seated. Our group waited for about 30 minutes, and after checking the status, we were told we would need to wait another 45 minutes! This was totally unacceptable so we left, and have no plans for another gathering at this restaurant at this point in time!

I'm confused about the bad reviews posted because this place is amazing. My wife and I decided to come anyways regardless of the reviews and glad we did. The food is amazing and the staff is fantastic. We got the pancakes which were amazing. Also the american breakfast and ribe eye dip were great as well. We did have to wait but they take ur number down and text you when ready.

Excellent Service! Excellent Food! Excellent Atmosphere. Went there to relax on the terrace and ended up having an experience all around. Nathan was so welcoming and ensured a smooth experience from start to finish. Just be sure dinner ends with the banana split! Absolutely exquisite!

Great atmosphere, good service, food sub par. Both appetizers were nominal: artichoke dish = hardly any artichoke/mainly potato slices. Other appetizer = prosciuto = stale meat. Hamburger very disappointing - 2 over cooked 1/4" patties on a bun- not much to write home about. Better to go to Jeffeies diner down the block. Great atmosphere!!!!

Super cute shop in Palo Alto! Came here because my friend inquired about the cloud sofa. The aesthetic of the store makes you want to redecorate your home. The photos of Nani are now my zoom background for work! The staff was very friendly and kept checking if we needed assistance! Will definitely be back.

The staff is not attentive, and every interaction is rude. Food is good but nothing crazy special and it took an excessive amount of time for an appetizer, sandwich and salad. While the ambience is spectacular, that is all there is to offer at the restaurant.

I bought a rug from Restoration in March of 2020. Within a few months, it started to fall apart. I've exchanged 5 or 6 emails with customer service folks who insist on telling me that my issues are not defects. So, I guess what they are saying is, "the $1000+ item we sold you is a piece of rubbish, but it's exactly the rubbish we promised you it would be. Of course, we won't stand by our product." Isn't poor quality a defect? I expected more from a seller like RH, and got less. Don't shop here. Ever.

I love RH. The most expensive pieces we have invested in are from RH and they've lasted for two decades and still look beautiful. Quality and so so sophisticated. My husband and stopped by RH PA yesterday in search of the perfect pieces for the LR and MB. Scotty greeted us warmly within a minute of arrival. So lovely, no pressure, he let us engage. And when we were ready with questions - he had ALL the answers! He was able to share how the different leathers and velvet age over time with sunlight and usage. He asked us fantastic questions about lifestyle and placement and was able to guide us so expertly - down to "this piece has been in store for 2 years and this is what the velvet will look like in full daily sunlight" and "this leather couch has been in store for 3 months and this is how it beautifully shifts with folks sitting and touching". 48 hours prior, I had emailed the main RH PA email to see if a specific bed was on the show floor. Gigi answered back immediately not only confirming the bed was on display but also the specific fabric I had wanted to identify via a picture. The client service at RH PA is outstanding. We walked out feeling so looked after. We can't wait to receive our new gorgeous furniture! Huge KUDOS to Scotty and to Gigi - it is rare to find people who care so much and take such pride in what they do. Thank you so much, Scotty!!!

Design is very trendy/contemporary, but the quality of the furniture is not worth the price. I spent lots of money for a Beizer bedroom set (platform, headboard, nightstands and dresser), the OAK VENEER split and "came off" only by making the bed. Very low quality for thousands of dollars.

Adding to the ever growing list of dissatisfied (disgusted) RH customers. BUYER BEWARE! This store promotes itself has high end luxury, but sells low quality junk and doesn't stand behind its products. My $700 medicine cabinet started rusting beneath the nickel plating and the door hinges broke. Customer service accused me of mistreatment and refused any consolation because it was more than one year old. We spent thousands at that store on the vanity, tub, shower, fixtures, etc. They're all low quality Chinese made trash that doesn't last. RH Customer Service solution was to take my full price order for a replacement cabinet. Better quality and customer service at Walmart. Slick marketing why RH CEO Gary Friedman is a billionaire playboy, certainly not because of quality products or customer service.
