Rhapsody

We had our first meal in Paris at Rhapsody and it was such a lovely experience. The staff was incredibly kind and friendly, even though we didn’t speak French they really went out of their way to help translate things for us. The food was delicious and the courtyard at the back was a relaxed ambience for summer time.

Unexpectedly great restaurant given how unassuming it is from the outside. The chefs work and experiment with ingredients from all around the world to create original recipes that feel inherently French nevertheless - like the entry with a tartare de Saint Jacques (France), puntarelle (Italy) and nori (Japan). There’s a choice for possibly everyone and the amount of food is defined balanced to allow you to taste the whole menu without being stuffed. The setting is warm and clean, you have a good choice of wines and you don’t overpay at all for what you get. Looking forward to experience it again!

I had no reservation and entered into an empty restaurant. Walking to the kitchen, I saw the staff working on excellent food. To the right I heard voices and understood that there was a garden/terasse with outside tables. I asked the manager if I could have dinner at this place and he denied. „We are fully booked tonight. Sorry“. I mentioned the about 40 empty (indoor-)places, but he reconfirmed: Fully booked. I kindly expressed my misundestanding about not being able to accept one more guest after almost two years of closings. The restaurant was recommended to me… He reconfirmed a third time that he was fully booked and already had rejected about 50 dinners throughout the evening. He prefers to deliver his quality to few people and would not make an exemption… Well. Its his choice but I think its important to share it here. By the way: Now I am sitting in the restaurant „Le Chefson“ just 2min away. I was warmly welcomed even if this one is very full, too. See foto. Maybe you would read my comments on Le Chefson once I finished my menu that soon will start with a fresh tuna sashimi….

Delightful bistro with delicious food, gorgeous organic wines , great service

Small creative and delicious menu. Lovely patio. Service was polite, friendly but not quite on point to match the excellent food.

All good 👍 will be great to have the menu printing in English included drinks.

Mignificent restaurant with a cosy atmosphere an open kitchen and a lovely terrace in the backyard. The food was a bit on the pricy side but definately worth it for the great taste, fast delivery and good and thoughtfull service. (My wife is pregnant, so quite some food restrictions)

Great restaurant, great food. I had the venus mussels. They were really good. It was just a little bit expensive, but its Paris and a French restaurant, so what will you do.
