Google
They’re right with their slogan, I’ve never seen bagels like these (pro tip they were out of bagels, a literal bagel store out of bagels, crazy work). For $7 to boot? Let’s just say I expected nothing less. Don’t let the charlatans and sycophant townies convince you that this place is worth any dollar amount. If you’re going to cosplay as a NYC bagel spot, at least have the decency to make a good sandwich

Google
My favorite breakfast place in college :)) i will miss it dearly. So many options and it hits the spot every time. They have a bunch of drinks inside to choose from and the prices are so reasonable. checkout their online menu for specials and cool combos to try

b.overly_delicious @rbkbagel Rhinebeck, NY: Rhinebeck bagels is all about the ingredients and awesome combinations. I super appreciate the revolving hot sauce wall so I can always try something new. I went with a grilled cheese with chicken salad, bacon, and spicy mayo and a side of tots. Tots were well done and the garlic aioli it came with was perfect for dipping everything in. The owner, Jeremy, is a pleasure and his photographery is awesome. Wow! So glad we stopped and we recommend if you are by here to stop as well. We do not live in this state but was passing through & saw the reviews were great & that they had gluten free bagel option so we went. Best decision. Extremely friendly employee taking the orders & cashing you out. Coffee is fresh, decaf for me was great and I’m super picky on coffee. My husbands iced coffee/cold brew French Vanilla was great. The breakfast sandwiches are huge! See photo for reference. Absolutely paying for great, fresh, good portion size sandwiches. I got the western on the works gluten free bagel (loved that they have gluten free bagel options of the works, plain or sesame) the western was delicious just like an omelette, large pieces of onions and peppers and I added bacon, because ya no bacon is life. Their bacon is super crispy and fresh! My husband got the Synder and loved it so much. He instantly said this is the best breakfast sandwich I’ve ever had and how it doesn’t compare to any other place. If we are ever in the area we will be back, although back home places have huge shoes to fill now with how delicious this was. It is a cash only for in person orders and card options for online orders. Nothing bad to say at all. Fantastic and hats off to the chefs !

The food here is great, the specials are unique and delicious. I’ve been here three times, each time trying something new, always delicious. Our order came out promptly, coffee was great, the owner was pleasant. This place is my go to any time I’m in town!

Google
I ordered the special breakfast wrap and and my avocados were not fresh and hard to bite.

Google
Food was good for the breakfast sandwiches that I got and pastrami hash. A bit pricey but to be expected Rhinebeck. Online ordering could be changed. Seemed clunky to navigate. I tried ordering by calling. Number did not work 04/02/25. I was going to order online but website was loading too long. Connection or service was not an issue. Not going to waste my time. Business could potentially do way better.

Google
Been here twice now and only wish I lived closer. First time I got a burger and waffle fries and took lunch to the park to eat. Less photogenic but still delicious. Second time was a BBQ chicken wrap and bacon cheese fries, also great. The owner and staff are very friendly. He makes a lot of creative specials, however lunch specials are only weekdays while breakfast specials are weekends. Cash only.

Yelp
A Must-Visit Bagel Spot in Rhinebeck! Delicious, fresh bagels and coffee--absolutely worth the wait and the best bargain in town. My husband and I had a fantastic experience at Rhinebeck Bagels, enjoying authentic New York-style bagels that hit all the right notes. I had their Egg Works Bagel, which was a perfect blend of flavors and textures--slathered in cream cheese and topped with thinly sliced lox, onions, capers, and tomatoes. All that for just $10.50--what a deal! My husband loved The Snyder, featuring a freshly cooked egg, sausage, Swiss cheese, and mustard on a warm pretzel roll, all for only $8. If you're in town, I highly recommend stopping by this gem. It's a treat for both your taste buds and your wallet!

Yelp
This place is definitely a local favorite, but for me it was definitely mixed emotions. We tried the egg and cheese and the pipe doctor. The pipe doctor was delicious, but the egg and cheese was such a letdown. As an egg and cheese connoisseur, this sandwich was just disappointing. There was a lack of salt and butter and the cheese was lacking. I think this is probably a place to come for the special sandwiches, rather than the classics. As a side note, they definitely have the best hours in town and are open early (7 AM!) which is a plus. They have covered and uncovered tables outside for service. They are cash only, but have an ATM on site.

Yelp
This was a cool bagel place that I stopped in while in Rhinebeck and their awards don't lie! It really is such a great bagel shop with many great sandwich options and cream cheese flavors. They have specialty cream cheeses as well and the lobster cream cheese was really good. The Asiago bagel was also great and I definitely recommend stopping here for a meal! Service was super quick and nice! The whole shop was fun to sit in as well and I liked the decor. They do only take cash and can accommodate Venmo just an fyi!

Yelp
Blown away! I had low expectations. Had a plain bagel, un toasted, no butter or cream cheese. Excellent! Excellent bite resistance and chew. Flavor was right in, good malt along with a hint of salt. I then tries the multigrain bagel -- a difficult flour to work with (I bake), and these had nearly perfect crumble. Coffee was very good (flavored, sorry, just wasn't in the mood for black regular). Service -- funny, friendly. Make sure to meet Jeremy, the owner. Ambiance: 21st Century bagel store. Comfortable seating, nit cramped.

Bill C.

Yelp
First time here and Rhinebeck Bagels did not disappoint. Best Buffalo chicken wrap I've had and also the best potato salad ever. Can't wait to come back and try other things. Friendly staff as well and nice outdoor seating.

Yelp
Super good place for breakfast on the run. The sandwiches are huge and can easily be shared between two people. Great bagel choices. Be prepared when it's your turn to order , the lady in front of me was on her phone and totally held up the line. The wait is a bit on a weekend and well worth it! So good!! Go!

Jennie B.

Yelp
Got a BEC and a cinnamon raisin bagel with cream cheese and both were delicious! Nice people working there and a really cool toy car collection in the windows! Will definitely be going back before heading out of rhinebeck. Cash only!

Yelp
Great place to stop in for breakfast, especially if you are a big bagel fan!! They have many different options for bagels and flavored cream cheese. They also have an extensive menu of sandwiches for breakfast or lunch. Their staff is very friendly. They only take cash and don't have a restroom. They do have indoor and outdoor seating. I had an excellent BLT and iced coffee. Reasonable prices.

Yelp
Got the GWB sub the sausage for bacon. So good! The bagel was perfect. It had a nice and dense, easy to bite through and not chewy. The cream cheese ratio to the bagel to the egg to the cheese was on point it didn't make you sick to your stomach after you eat it and it was just enough to keep you full for a long time. The cream cheese wasn't gushing out like most places, but it was enough that you can taste the actual cream cheese. The staff were super sweet and very nice and accommodating. You don't feel rushed and it was just overall really great bagel spot. I will be back! I'd give five stars, but the only problem I had with this place was that they don't take credit or debit cards. Wish I knew that before i went in and had to use the ATM but the bagel was worth the $2 fee

Yelp
I needed breakfast in Rhinebeck this morning and looked for some gluten free choices. Yelp showed that Rhinebeck bagels had some gluten free options so I went there to check it out. It was busy - of course we're talking bagels at 9:30 on a Saturday morning. The owner served me after serving other customers, many of which he knows by name. Love that kind of customer service!! Great vibe. I ordered a g-f everything bagel toasted with Turkey, tomato, lettuce and spicy mayo. I don't usually get spicy things but there were a lot of hot sauces on the menu and I was inspired. It was delicious! The spicy mayo had some kick. The bagel was perfect. I haven't had a bagel in sooo long and this bagel sandwich was actually worth it. Iykyk Definitely recommend Rhinebeck Bagels. Remember - cash only in store or order online. There is an ATM inside. Coffee was v. good too.

Yelp
The staff at Rhinebeck Bagels is always so friendly and helpful. The food is great and I love their specials!

Yelp
Definitely worth the wait! We realized when we arrived that they took cash only so we decided to order through the app. It was about a 30+ minute wait, but we used the time to walk around and check out the area. The app was easy to use. I definitely plan to use it in the future to order in advance. I ordered the crispy chicken and added on bacon, avocado, fried egg, lettuce and tomato. Combination of breakie & lunch. Quality bagel and even better vessel for an amazing sammie.

Yelp
Fantastic bagels, initial interaction was strange when I wanted to take a dozen plain bagels back to Pennsylvania. Individual indicated we needed to order in advance, I told them we tried to call but nobody answered, he indicated they do not answer the phone. I told him the mail box was full. He finally relented.

Jill

Yelp
Stopped in for a half dozen bagels. Service was friendly and quick and the garlic, onion, and egg bagels were all really tasty. Good value.

Christine J.

Yelp
Great spot for bagels! The selection is top notch and the breakfast sandwiches will leave you full for hours! They are cash/venmo only, so come prepared. The staff behind the counter were great - and very efficient!

Yelp
Love this place. The bagel and cream cheese and lox were incredible.. And what a great value and the lox is very high quality. Also had the egg sandwich special two days in a row. You can't beat them. The sausages are so good and the eggs so fresh.. They use only the best quality ingredients and the owner/staff so nice and friendly. Even the fresh lemonade with no sugar added is terrific. Don't miss it!
google avatar

Yelp
Delicious egg sandwiches! Fresh bagels and friendly service. Would definitely go back!!

Yelp
incredible food, old school friendly staff, and a clean, thoughtful, productive environment; all made for the perfect lunch. excellent spot, i highly recommend.

Yelp
Rhinebeck Bagels is a breakfast/lunch staple that must not be missed. Their sandwiches are creative and delicious, the customer service is great, and the shop itself is fun inside, with the gigantic license plate mural, giant bacon mural, and comic noir-esque wall pictures as decor. Plus don't miss the display of hot sauces on the corner of the counter-- just don't steal them! The place is mainly cash-only, and they have an ATM inside, but you can also order ahead/pay online using their app. My favorites are the GWB (with sausage, egg, cheddar, scallion cream cheese and hot sauce) on a pretzel roll, their cheesy tots topped with bacon + scallion (order under "cheese fries" in the app), and their recent special, the "Boot-e" breakfast sandwich (bacon, egg, peach cream cheese on a pretzel roll). They also have great po' boy sandwiches (with fried oysters, fried shrimp, or both) that world be consumed immediately. All. So. Good!
google avatar

Maria G.

Yelp
Bagels and service were excellent!! Cute, comfortable and busy place Had their special of the day which had pumpkin pie cream cheese on a pretzel bagel, egg, cheese, and hash browns. Strange combo? Yes, but DELICIOUS!! They have a huge selection of bagels and sandwiches, and of course, specials!

Yelp
RBK Bagels & Cafe is THE place to go to for bagels in the Hudson River Valley area. My favorite weekend activity is going up to Rhinebeck to grab a bagel/breakfast sandwich with some tots or waffle fries and bbq ranch dip. They have a really easy online ordering system to help ditch the wait. Ordering in person is also easy as well and the staff are always really nice. Jeremy (the owner?) will also sometimes be behind the counter and he's super friendly and always ready to help. The bagels are pretty fresh and I have yet to have a bad batch here. One of my favorite things about RBK is their seasonal/weekly special sandwich or cream cheese. It's also worth mentioning that everything they do is done with the best quality they can do. Service is usually pretty quick unless you come in during a peak hour, but it's always worth the wait. Always recommend RBK Bagels to anyone looking for a good, but on the go breakfast!

Naomi K.

Yelp
Food was delicious. Plenty of gluten free options and attention to allergies was impeccable. We will absolutely be coming back. Allergies are wheat/gluten and dairy. They had no problem accommodating them and keeping us safe.

Eric S.

Yelp
Great food prepared by great people! The best breakfast and lunch menu in town. Homemade soups and daily specials are fantastic. I recommend ordering lunch on their app to avoid the busy lunchtime crowd.

Yelp
On weekends this place can get hectic so I stay away. During a normal weekday its a much better and smoother experience. Parking is a hassle. By hassle I mean you might need to park across the street or a little bit down the block. Since this is Rhinebeck that totally upsets people and throws them into a tizzy. The online ordering in the beginning was a bit of a learning curve but they seemed to have worked out the kinks and it goes much smoother now. If you walk in and order(my preferred method) it's cash only. Some crazy choices on the various sandwiches that one would think wouldn't work but somehow do. Hash browns on a sandwich? Nothing crazy so sure why not? Lettuce and Tomato on an egg sandwich? That's lunacy ...yet it works. How about the "The Chucky". What is it? It's my favorite but if I tell then you probably would think it sounds weird. Lucky charms cream cheese on a green bagel for St Patricks day? That sounds terrible so I will only take two, no make it three. As for the actual bagels? Stand alone I don't think they are the best in the Hudson Valley. Don't be confused. These are very very another very and one more very good bagels. But eating it plain or just keeping it simple with butter or just cream cheese is not the best use for these bagels. Bagel purists want the bagel to be the greatest bagel right out of the bag with nothing on it. Bagel purists (my Uncle Jeff) would probably have a lot to say about the fluffiness or overall shape of these bagels as they reach for a second or third one to eat. These bagels work perfectly with the various unique sandwich combos they continually create and maybe work better then using the perfect bagel. The various condiments and flavors from the eggs, meats or cheeses absorb into the dough better. Perhaps this is by genius design or luck? Either way it works and I am alright with this and that's why I went with 5 stars. A true bagel one bite score would be. ....7.9 They are always doing some crazy concoction as a special and usually it's for a limited time only through online ordering. I was lucky enough to get the Pizza bagels a few months back. The coffee is pretty good.....for a bagel store.

Yelp
Looks like I'm going to have to move back to New York ‍ My last dying meal is a toasted poppy seed bagel with cream cheese, lox, red onions, and capers. Unless it's Rhinebeck Bagels & Cafe and then it's their Pilgrim Bagel... didn't ever think I'd be changing but here we are
google avatar

Buddy G.

Yelp
I live in LA and have been following their Instagram account for a long time. The creativity and the amazing food and sunrise photography has always beckoned me. Today I finally found myself within driving distance and did not hesitate to head over. I ordered ahead and had no trouble parking. My order was ready when I arrived. Everything tasted great except they forgot to include the cheese on my pretzel egg sandwich and.... they committed the bagel bakery cardinal sin of putting the savory, oniony bagels in the same paper bag as the sweet/plain bagels. So, your cinnamon raisin bagel now has just a bit of garlic taste to it. To me, all great bagel bakeries know not to do this.

Barbara R R.

Yelp
I'm afraid I can't remember if I reviewed Rhinebeck Bagels before but no matter: I moved up from Brooklyn (raised in the Bronx) and thought good bagels were a thing of the past once I was out of the city. WRONG. Their bagels are wonderful. Perhaps secretly they imported them from the boroughs LOL!!! Second, I order frequently.....and have not been disappointed even once. Two of my favorites are roast beef on marble rye and lox and scallion cream cheese...... If there were more stars, I'd add them to my review.
google avatar

Sharon W.

Yelp
Upping my review to five stars as McKenzie helped me figure out the perfect system for efficiently picking up my order. You rock McKenzie! Either place your order online or stop in, place your order, do your errands and come back as this place is mad popular! I went with the latter and it worked out perfectly. Crispy chicken wrap with lettuce and Russian dressing was off the chain.
google avatar

Melissa J.

Yelp
10/10 will be back! Great bagels! The closest I've gotten to a Long Island bagel since moving to the Catskills. Chicken salad was chunky and flavorful. Wish I had gotten more of it. Homemade lemonades and ice teas that are all unsweetened and you can sweeten them to your liking with a variety of sweeteners which was awesome. And absolutely delish. Would come back for that alone. Great find and will be back again!
google avatar

Becky T.

Yelp
Bravo for the simple online ordering and great setup for picking up orders. We love to sit out front and enjoy the food from Rhinebeck Bagels, but sometimes we need to get it on the run. Loran insists it's the best bacon, egg & cheese bagel sandwich ever! Plus the Bustah coffee is top notch. Great bagels and much more. #eatlocal

Yelp
Food is very good. Just always be sure to order at least 30-45 minutes in advance to save yourself frustration Very good pastrami. And the ramp cream cheese, when in season, is definitely very tasty and unique.

Mara S.

Yelp
Best bagels I've had outside the city. Good toppings, including a tasty vegan one that my friend appreciated. Decent coffee. Very friendly service, attention to cleanliness. Totally recommend.
google avatar

Jessica C.

Yelp
Excellent breakfast sandwiches. Hospitality lacking. Staff boarder line miserable and treat customers like an inconvenience. Sorry for keeping y'all in business I guess ‍‍

Karen K.

Yelp
Never disappoints. Best sandwiches in town and surrounding area. I forgot to take a pic because I was too excited to eat it!
google avatar

Brian R.

Yelp
This place is absolutely incredible. The sandwich I had yesterday (The Wolf) changed my life. They also had this really great watermelon lemonade. Staff is super friendly and the prices are great. I'm going to go back at least once a week.

Yelp
Striking through Rhinebeck, you'll inevitably notice the long line sprawling out of this corner restaurant. The lines speak for the quality of food and service at Rhinebeck Bagels and Cafe and you'll be sorry, if you don't join in and experience what this place has to offer. **Bring Ca$h or use the ATM at their premises.**
google avatar

Kristine K.

Yelp
Found this spot on Instagram and knew I had to try it! I had the special crissandwich which consisted of thick smoked applewood bacon, white cheddar cheese, and scrambled eggs on a warm/toasted croissant. I was asked if I wanted spk and stated "yes" and it wasn't on my sandwich, but that was OK because the bacon made the sandwich very flavorful. I can't wait to come back and try more of their menu items!!! Seating is limited, but luckily we were able to sit and eat 5 mins before our food came out. They have many refrigerated drinks to choose from, as well as many flavors of ice/hot coffee and teas. Ps. They are cash only.

Evan S.

Yelp
Be prepared to wait 30 minutes for an average bagel with average cream cheese. At 10:30am on a Wednesday the cashier announced that "the kitchen is backed up and it'll be a 25-30 minute wait for breakfast sandwiches". The sandwiches available sound great but never coming back to try one as I imagine I'd be waiting a long time...
google avatar

Aya N.

Yelp
We stopped by this place for breakfast on the day we are going back and we were happy this place still operate during COVID. They do have tables outside so you can eat there if you want to stay but the space is limited. both of breakfast sandwiches (western omelet and lox) we got were pretty good, it was huge and reasonably priced. Cash only!
google avatar

Brian L.

Yelp
Walked in on a Monday morning around 10am and was the only customer in there. Ordered a GWB breakfast sandwich and waited 10 minutes for it. It was $5.95 after tax. That's incredibly high compared to almost every other deli in the area. Frustratingly cash-only. The place appeared to be clean and the service was fine.
google avatar

Amina K.

Yelp
Love all the in house cold drink options: teas, lemonades, coffees... There is a fridge with a bunch of neat containers with all the different homemade drinks on it and it makes me want to try each one. I ordered a breakfast sandwich and tuna sandwich to go. Also got some fries. Fries were a little too crispy for my liking and honestly thought he bagel could have been softer but in all I was happy with what I ordered. Clean and spacious inside. The staff are all very friendly. I will definitely be back to try out more items on he menu.
google avatar

Jeso J.

Yelp
Excellent breakfast I had a scooped out raisin bagel sausage egg cheese and hot sauce delicious and I also had a nice coffee they also have a variety of hot sauces..

Katie C.

Yelp
Bagels were ok but a little dense for NY bagels. They don't take credit cards but have online ordering which almost makes it feel intentional.
google avatar

Katy S.

Yelp
Found this place on yelp. We ordered three egg sandwiches on rolls, an egg sandwich on a bagel, and an order of scrambled eggs and toast. Everything came out perfectly. You can get your egg sandwich on a roll, a bagel or in a wrap. Service was quick even on a very busy Sunday. Coffee was fresh, hot and surprisingly, it was really good coffee. My daughter got a nice cup of tea. The place is very clean with plenty of seating. They have booths, tables, and high top seating. Keep in mind it is cash only. But definitely worth a trip to the ATM before you head over there.

Morgan H.

Yelp
I would sell my soul for these bagels. From NC and have spent the last six months trying local bagel places to fix my Bustah B cravings and unfortunately nothing compares. I look forward to coming here everytime I'm in Rhinebeck. 20/10 would recommend.

Mary R.

Yelp
Yummy. Great app. So order away and come pick up. Super convenient. Good value for your money
google avatar

Yelp
Great breakfast sandwich and real good coffee. Do yourself favor stop and get yourself some breakfast your.

Yelp
Seems to be a popular place, but social distancing is not observed and it's confusing to know where to stand to order. Service is surly and unpleasant. The watermelon lemonade was so diluted I couldn't taste watermelon or lemonade. The bagels are terrible.
