The Vibe and Breakfast (5/5) Rhino Market & Deli is a cute, eclectic spot with plenty of charm. It's great that they offer both indoor and outdoor seating, making it a good choice no matter the weather. I came specifically for breakfast sandwiches on two separate mornings and was not disappointed. The bacon, egg, and cheese on a plain bagel was a solid, reliable choice. With two strips of bacon, the flavor was good—nothing revolutionary, but a very solid, tasty breakfast option to start the day. The Lunch Experience (3/5) Lunch was a mixed bag. My son absolutely loved his Turkey Club, which seemed to be well-prepared and hit the spot. However, the Roast Beef sandwich I ordered was unfortunately not good. I should note the menu does feature a specific Hot Roast Beef sandwich (with cheddar, onions, and horseradish mayo). It seems I may have been served this hot option, but the meat itself was cooked or prepared way overdone, making the roast beef dry and tough, which was disappointing. The bun was also heavily toasted, adding to the dryness. I was hoping for a cold, nice, juicy, and likely reddish roast beef deli sandwich. ⭐ The Verdict Overall, I had a great experience with breakfast and a disappointing one with the roast beef lunch. If you visit, I would highly recommend their breakfast sandwiches. For lunch, I'd suggest sticking to reliable cold-cut options like the Turkey Club. If you want a cold roast beef sandwich, be sure to specifically ask if that's an option, or stick to other choices, as the hot version I received was overcooked and dry.

My favorite place to have food and coffee when I'm visiting my family here. Such a chill vibe. Great service and excellent food. Many options for food coffee snacks and beer and wine. I recommend you stop by if you are in the area

Good place to get a sandwich. If you come around lunch time expect a decent wait. They have a grand selection of beer, wine, and grab and go snacks. We tried the veggie sandwich and the bread was lackluster but the flavor of the vegetables inside was great! A more wholesome ciabatta with a crust would bring it next level.

Several of the employees are entitled rude . My crew was restoring the apartment's power across the street and it was 98 degrees that day. My guys went in and got a drink & sandwich. The register had a option for a tip ( to tip the cashier for ringing up a few things), apparently one of my guys didn't pay a tip and she chased them out into the parking lot cussing and treating them like scum.. we was still working the following day ( haven't went home yet and going on 27 hours without sleep or rest ), and it happened a 2nd time when they went for another Gatorade and sandwich, this time 2 employees pulled the same crap..I also believe they are the one who called the news crew out about us leaving the apartments without power ( we was fixing/ replacing the bad underground power line that burned up, and we was going the best we could under the conditions). I don't recommend this place unless you like paying a tip for someone to do their job, because you probably want enjoy outcome if you don't tip

I finally get to try this place for the first time. The breakfast burrito was ok. In my opinion they could add more seasoning and toast it a little bit. I asked for a plate to the kitchen lady and she said "we don't have plates". Look at the pic below lol. I don't know what was that about...

Rhinos is the place to go when you have a taste for good food and drinks. Im hooked...Rhino's is addiction. The workers are friendly...even when the place is filled with customers. They treat you with great customer service. The atmosphere is inviting. I appreciate that I can choose seating where Im not on top of other consumers. Great place all around.

Truly the best deli in all of Charlotte!! Best prices, diverse menu, great service and live music or DJ most nights of the week…I mean who could ask for more?? Well being plant-based, I could ask for vegan food and, bonus, they have so many vegan options for being a deli. Even have one of the best vegan breakfast burritos I’ve ever had and for an unbeatable price!! Thank you Rhino for being the best neighborhood spot to hang pretty much any day or night. 🙌🏾

Awesome deli and market for a quick bite or drink! They offer drink and snack options not found many other places but also the usual drinks and snacks as well. The deli sandwich’s are very good! The rueben has tons of beef piled high to satisfy. The raw rhino sandwich is perfect for those who want a vegan option but also want to satisfy their hunger. The drinks are not typical drinks you can find, which is one of my favorite parts. I love the drink options they offer. I’m definitely a fan of the Rhino.

Would not have known about this if a local didn't take me. Hidden in the back of a market, Rhino offers a solid menu of unique flavors. Great for quick lunch stop or takeout on the go. Their famed chicken torta lived up to the hype and offered a jalapeño spicy twist to chicken sandwich.

I did not expect to walk into what I walked into. I heard the music outside a packed patio and thought at least they have cool music. Mmmmm no... full blown DJ! There's beer and wine and even pepper jelly and sauces to purchase here along with a full diverse deli. I had the veggie sando and it was delicious. The service was a bit confusing at first but we got the kinks worked out so no worries. Now I know for next time. I've been back twice since this check in by the way. I love it here!

My husband and I had lunch one weekday at Rhino Market before visiting The Infinite at Blume Studios. This is a bustling place and being newcomers, it was confusing knowing how to order, with no signs directing you through the process. There appeared to be a lot of regulars, however, so we just asked and were kindly directed what to do. We decided to try a Reuben sandwich, cheddar grilled cheese on sourdough, and broccoli-cauliflower soup. The sandwiches were very good--especially the huge Reuben!--but I'd skip the soup the next time, as it was watery and lacked flavor. There is a large variety of chips, refrigerated sides, and beverages (including beer and wine!) to buy as well. There are a few tables in the dining area, and we decided to eat inside. The staff immediately cleaned them off as soon as customers departed, so empty tables were always clean. Yay! Their prices are very reasonable as well. We'll likely return!

11/2 I've thought about trying this place for over a year and finally went. I've seen two of their locations but this is closest to me. My husband has been here a bunch of times with his coworkers so he recommended some things. We ended up splitting the Chicken Torta Sandwich and The Rhino Club Sandwich. On the Club we added avocado. They were both pretty good sandwiches. I preferred the Chicken Torta because I don't eat pork (so for it ended up just being a turkey sandwich for me). We got our food to go but they have a cool seating area with board games.

We were looking for something a bit more upscale but staffer at the Mint Museum was so quick and confident in recommending this place that we walked a block or so to try it. NO REGRETS! I had a delicious, perfect, BLT but my husband's "Cold Turkey" was amazing. Turkey is his go-to deli sandwich and he says this is the best he's ever had: perfect blend of turkey, havarti, cucumber, and a mustardy spread. Set inside a groovy little urban market (think 1000 bottles of wine and 1 tube of toothpaste lol) we were surprised and delighted.

I love this place! Such a cool little find in uptown CLT. We walked up here from our tailgating parking lot off Morehead and it was a nice, short walk. The place itself is around back of a brewery. The parking lot was pretty busy but there are spots directly outside. It's a market with lots of cool items, plus wine and beer. You walk to the left of the deli and place your order, get a ticket, pick it up and then pay at the front. The staff was very friendly and worked quickly despite being busy. My extensive research led me to order the Chicken Torta. YUM! It did not disappoint. The bread was crusty, the chicken tender, picante provolone (delish!!) was melty, and the avocado was creamy. The jalapeños were a great complement to the rest of the ingredients. My friends ordered various items like the veggie sandwich add turkey and the Sicilian, and they were also thoroughly impressed. The prices I also felt were competitive (especially the sandwiches for the size. They were big!). I can't wait to come back here! You seriously must check this place out.

I love Rhino Deli. It was one of the first places we went to when we moved to Charlotte and now I believe I have been to all of them around Charlotte. Each one has had impeccable service and delicious food and fun little snacks. Anytime I am close to one, I am getting an ABLT on ciabatta bread. I will always recommend Rhino. I have also met the owner once and he's very cool.

Very tasty sandwiches and salads. The bread was pretty decent but not crispy. There were limited tables because people were hogging them up working on their laptops. There is outdoor seating but the weather was too chilly. We had to eat in our car.

Always disappointed by the sandwiches. For a "deli" they do not put any effort into making their food. But I do love the bodega aspect of it, great snacks & good events! Love the wine & wine tastings. Just don't buy their sandwiches :/

Whether you want breakfast, lunch or dinner they have it for you. You can also come To chill and listen to good vibes while playing your hand at spades or Taboo or even chutes and ladders. Grab a glass of wine and laugh with friends. Reminds me of a corner bodago and a old school corner restaurant. Whatever your fancy it's probably here. Come check them out. Plenty of parking. Use the patio entrance after 5pm. Good customer service too.

I love this little shop in the convenient it brings to the neighborhood it surrounds. The sandwiches are made fresh and delicious, they have so many options as far as drinks and unique snacks. It's a one stop shop and I love coming here, the service is always friendly and inviting.

Nice option to grab a sandwich. Turkey sandwich was very good and large size. Was in and out in about 5 mins with freshly made sandwich.

I've been coming here for years but I have yet to leave a review until now because tonight was the cherry on top!! I cannot fully describe the community of people that work and come here on a daily basis. Great people who will take care of you! I got blocked in by cars tonight and had class remotely so to make up for it they brewed me a fresh pot of coffee and helped me while I waited for my car to get out! They have the best playlists and always give the best service and it's a staple store for our little neighborhood in this neck of the woods. I always feel safe and come to hangout and get work and homework done all the time because I always feel safe! Cannot recommend this place enough. They've been taking care of me here for years.

Got a chance to check out Rhino yesterday while waiting for my flight to Kansas City in Charlotte. The staff were so warm and welcoming! They encouraged me to get the breakfast burrito with apple bacon. I added spinach and it made all the ingredients--scrambled eggs, bacon, potato, and salsa come together. And they did not charge me for the addition either. The ingredients were fresh, but needed just a little more spice for me so I added some hot sauce and spice mustard. Super yummy and only $10!! This will be my go to spot for food the next time I am in Charlotte!!

Hands-down, one of my favorite places to stop in for any occasion. Great beer and wine selection, fantastic food. (the chicken salad sandwich is my go to lunch) and casual and comfortable atmosphere. I've been going to Rhino for over five years now and have been consistently pleased with their service. The staff it's always on the ball, managing and multitasking the hectic flow of customers. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

A cute little market that sells wine, snacks, and also has a little restaurant inside with delicious food and coffee. The staff is always very friendly and has a great neighborly a atmosphere. There's limited seating inside but it's a great place to grab a quick bite on the go!

Got here at 12:45pm today. Waited in line at the sandwhich counter for 5-10 minutes (with a big line behind me) before somebody finally came out to tell that they "closed the kitchen early". At lunch hour, on a Sunday, on Mother's Day! Absolutely insane!!

Great choice for a quick easy breakfast. A few different sandwich options and then it is a market with many different drink options including some coffee options. The bagel wasn't as good as the le monde which was sourdough bread with egg spinach and tomato that was absolutely amazing. We will definitely be back

What a cool and quirky place to go to! Located close to Downtown Charlotte and the football stadium, this really is the perfect place to satisfy all of your tailgate needs. As a bad, deli, and market; they got everything covered that you could need! I decided to try the Sicilian Sandwich, and it was fantastic! Hot pressed to make that ciabatta bread nice and toasty on the outside, the crunch is perfectly complemented by the huge stack of deli meats on the inside, along with the melty cheese and sourness of the banana peppers. While you may think paying between $8 to $12 is a lot for a sandwich, they more than make up for in terms of size. This sandwich is filling! You definitely feel the food coma setting in afterwards. Fantastic place that I definitely want to come back to again the next time I'm in town! :)

Where do I begin.... Rhino market on Morehead, (can't speak for other locations as I've never been), has never fully come back from its high standard pre-Covid. This morning was a super special s#*t-show. Called and ordered a single breakfast burrito and was told 10 minutes. Arrived at the 10-minute mark and was told the kitchen was "running behind". Paid and stood by the window to wait another 15 minutes before my food was ready. In the process of waiting I heard the girl in window proudly proclaim she made the choice for the music which I think she referred to as JayX radio, maybe... the music was highly profane, graphic and disgusting. Same gal informed anyone coming to order they we 30 minutes backed up in the kitchen. Same gal was picking at prep and eating with her uncovered hands. Not one hairnet or hat in the kitchen. No one wearing gloves. No urgency for the outstanding orders I'm done with this location of Rhino and put this out there as a warning for others. It's clear there are no owners and barely managers running g this place. Plenty of other options near here, choose wisely.

Stopped into Rhino Market for their breakfast burrito. I always get it with sausage. This location was super busy. The burrito was ok but not the same quality as some of their other locations. I felt like the burrito was a little skimpy in the filling compared to other locations and full of the potatoes. This location is smaller and super chill. They have some of the cool novelty snacks but not as much as other locations. The staff wasn't the friendliest either. Stopped in to grab a sandwich and chips for lunch. I went with the chicken torta ($7.99), which is their most popular sandwich I was told. Pay at the register then go stand near the order window so you can hear them call your number. It took about 3 minutes for my sandwich to be ready. This is a big sandwich and very tasty. I'm not a big eater so I was able to get two meals out of this.

Stopped in here at 9am on a Sunday and there were already a good handful of people there. This place is kind of like a liquor store, deli and coffee shop rolled into one. We got their breakfast sandwiches (on English muffins) and it was very tasty. I got a coffee to-go, and it wasn't too bad (but I'm picky about coffee). They also serve various drinks and of course alcoholic beverages, as well many other different kinds of sandwiches and burritos (like breakfast burritos). This is a really convenient, easy place to stop in at if you're on the go, or just want to grab something easy, and there are few different locations as well.

Some of my favorite vegetarian sandwiches!! They have a ton of options & the ciabatta bread is excellent.

Soup was cold and the guy prepping the food had a bad attitude. Not friendly. Sandwich average and overpriced. Wife sandwich was good.

Loved our birthday lunch here. It was a cold day and we wanted something light and warm. Cool atmosphere, nostalgic DJ played great music, the coffee was perfect to keep our day going. Nice staff.

I don't know how I haven't written a review about this place before?! I have visited multiple locations but this one here on morehead is my favorite! You can't go wrong with the bacon egg and cheese for breakfast! My favorite is to get the Reuben with both corned beef and pastrami! Sooooo good! I can usually only eat half but trust me I'm going back for the other half! If you haven't been-what are you waiting for?! I know it's my first review and they got 5 stars but that's just bc I have gone here multiple times and the food and service never disappoint!

With the word deli in the name - I expected more from this place. It was average. For an $8 sandwich there wasn't a lot of turkey and the toppings were scarce. I'd almost prefer other chain shops to this one. My friend got a salad and she said it was great. A lot of toppings and a hearty amount of bacon. I'm glad for her because it was $12!! This is more of a convenient store and if you happen to be hungry and want a sub... Well there one is.

I had a blast in Charlotte... if I'd had a blast here specifically, would it have been a Rhino-blasty? Hmm. This is a very popular Deli in Charlotte, and definitely has a hipster flavour to it, but one thing that I don't like about it is that the service was pretty nasty on both occasions I've been here. Some employees more than others. Also the deli closes way way earlier than the store itself, so I've only been able to get food here one of the two times that we came here. It's a lot of people's fave sandwich shop in town so I'm sure I'll be back again but I don't love it. My previous review said: Pretty hipster dally ripping off the name Torta to make something that is really nothing like a Torta. Very popular with the locals who love their sandwich shops but ironically don't have that many good sandwich shops. Unless you count the Euro Deli which is Bosnian food which is amazing - but most people not only don't count that but don't even know it exists and that is a problem because it's some of the best food. Anyway at Rhino's don't forget you can't get sandwiches after 9. I wish that fact was more public because I drove here for nothing the second time I came. There probably won't be a 3rd.

I'm bummed that I didn't come here first and instead went next door. Because I popped in here for a drink and a snack, seeing some absolutely insane looking sandwiches! Also, a huge selection of beers. Amazing. Prices were good and everything looked super fresh. Food always good! My favorite is the chicken salad sandwich! Atmosphere gives a modern, rustic feel with outdoor seating available. Service with a smile. On Sunday afternoons, you can enjoy music from the golden era, on a phonograph or turntable for the millennials and above! lol

i got the torta and it was good- the jalapeños added a nice spice to it. they also had hot sauce available. the staff are very friendly and they sell my favorite kombucha- lenny boy. they have a small area for seating and outdoor seating as well.

I order lunch from here almost everyday since it is by my job. Although it is always busy, the DJ Cory plays some great music, the staff is friendly and food is always good! I enjoy everything they have but my go to is the tuna sandwich on sourdough, and their occasional curry shrimp and rice soup. They also have a good variety of chips and sodas! Can't go wrong!

Rhino Market is quickly becoming one of my favorite lunch spots. Their sandwiches are made-to-order and with higher quality ingredients. In particular, their bread options for sandwiches are all good. My only wish is that they would provide pickles with their sandwiches. Rhino is located right across the street from Pinky's and shares a large parking lot with some other establishment (whose name I forget). I recommend calling ahead and placing your order because, during lunch hours, you may find yourself waiting longer than normal. They have daily specials which are posted on their website and I'm sure on their various social media channels. You can choose to order one of their menu items that consist of sandwiches and salads or make your own. They are home to the chicken torta so I usually tell newbies to try that first but they have plenty that caters to meat eaters and vegetarians. Inside Rhino, they have large refrigerated cases that house everything from bottled water/juices to lenny boy kombucha to cans of beer. In the aisles, you'll find bottles of wine and all sorts of snacks and treats. Bonus, there's also a mini bar where they serve glasses of wine. There's seating inside and outside that allow for excellent people-watching. I'd recommend this as a great meeting/coworking spot. Whatever you do, definitely make sure you stop in for a sandwich, whether it be for breakfast or lunch!

Been eating the Chicken Torta for 6-7 years now. You know they menu item that is so good you never try anything else? That's mine. Always a comfort food.

You cannot go wrong with this spot! My absolute favorite sandwich is their BLAT and a side of their broccoli salad. My sister lives nearby, and I think it's safe to say it is one of her most frequented spots (especially during COVID, and there was no indoor dining - perfect pickup for a picnic!). Definitely give this spot a try. I have even tried their breakfast burrito, and it is VERY good as well! Make sure to check out their daily specials, as they are always a good choice, too! We normally call to order, but it doesn't take too long if you order up at the window, either.

Perfect little deli and shop for grabbing quick food or beverages. It does get very busy during weekday lunch, so plan accordingly! One plus is that the parking lot is big. I came here to grab a quick sandwich and decided to use the grab and go sandwich (left of the food order window) because the ticket line was very busy. I got a Turkey sandwich, paid, and went on my merry way in under 3 minutes. The turkey sandwich was tasty and exactly what I was looking for on that day for lunch. There are a few spaces for seating inside and outside if you want to stay and eat. The rest of the shop has a few isles of local and/or market style foods (chips, snacks, candy) and a few coolers with local beers and drinks.

Fan 4 sho'! I have been running by the Rhino Market a lot these days and even went in during Biketoberfest as it was an active participant. Recently did brunch with friends here and the french toast was AMAZING. Limited tables inside, but large patio outside and ample parking for all! Yes, part of the lot is gravel, just don't speed through like a JA and leave a dust cloud for everyone to choke on. Order at the counter, with super nice staff.... pay at the register with the ticket order you are given. If you walk in for the first time here, it can be sensory overload, but that is just a testament of all their offerings here. Quick snack, actual sandwiches, there is something for everyone here. There are really cool gift finds here you can stumble upon. I mean, who doesn't want a mexican wrestler bottle opener?

They say go where you are valued, so I won't be going here anymore. I went this morning and there was 1 person ahead of me. When my turn was up to order, the caucasian girl at the window watched me approach, then saw some other random caucasian girl step in ahead of me, look back and me and proceed to place her order. I've felt invisible as a minority before, but the fact that they both looked at me before deciding to ignore me was something else. No more chicken torta or breakfast burrito for me- I guess you can appropriate our food but not take our orders. I stood there like an idiot wondering whether or not to even order before deciding you know what, I got food at home. Bummer.

We stopped by Rhino Market for lunch before hitting the brewery next door for a beer. The market is a cool spot where you can snag a coffee, sandwich, or a beer. We found our way to the sandwich line in back and checked out the menu. I decided to go with a pastrami reuben and my buddy went with the chicken torta. I grabbed a beer from the bar while I waited. Our sandwiches came up fairly quickly and they looked great. We grabbed a seat at a table inside. The pastrami reuben was pretty solid. The meat was griddled and the sandwich was on point. I tried a bite of my buddies chicken torta and it was really tasty as well. He was very happy with his sandwich. Overall, we really enjoyed our visit to the market and out lunch. We would surely revisit in the future if in the area again.

Never enough seating for people, but plenty of seating for beer and wine!! Rhino Market is one of my go-to places in Charlotte where I always have a great experience. The deli makes fresh food made to order within 10 minutes or less. There is certainly no shortage of alcoholic beverage options!! This location gives off a very strong community vibe where they play trivia at night, on occasion they have live music inside while dining, and they always offer a smile with the service. Rhino Market is a place that I hope never loses it momentum or community vibe. I'm excited to move closer to the market very soon so I can be considered a local rather than just a regular!

The breakfast burrito is so good, they stay open late, workers are friendly, it's walking distance from my apartment which I love and they work with many local businesses! They have a huge selection of wine, beer, and other drinks

I really enjoy Rhino for running in and grabbing a quick coffee to-go or to grab a sandwich and use the WiFi for a working lunch away from the office. The options for food and drinks are varied and very good. While their coffee options are usually about 5 drip coffees- no fancy hot chocolates, lattes, or espresso...just the drip. The thing that I love about getting coffee here is their options for that drip coffee. First any time I'm there they have Enderly Coffee on drip and Enderly is my favorite local coffee and then it's the milk/creamer options. They have half&half, oat, skim. They also have several sweetner options.

Came here for breakfast and got a basic sausage egg & cheese on English muffin. Got that unique city feel with the grocery store aspect. Food is solid, and we have been here twice. The coffee was really good too. I'll come back but would probably build my own breakfast sandwich next time

Rhino is becoming a Saturday breakfast tradition for us. I cannot say enough about the environment, quality of the food or the staff. I've always had a pleasant time here for either breakfast or early dinner. I recommend the breakfast sandwich and chicken torta.
