Every time I go to Rhubarb Botanicals, I see friendly faces, unique farm-to-table goods, and of course, something else I want to take home that I didn't know I needed. You can tell that each item sold has been selected with care, so it's a great spot to stop for fresh flowers or delightful foods & herbal teas. The owner also invites other local artisans to join in the weekly markets, so you never fully know which treasures you'll find. We signed up for their Flower CSA last year to receive weekly bouquets, and it was such a treat! We were excited to sign up for a second year. Each bouquet was lovely and lasted quite a while. Rhubarb Botanicals is a local gem! Worth the easy drive to Mt. Vernon if you're coming from Iowa City or Cedar Rapids. Highly recommend!

Rhubarb Botanicals is one of those "feel good" places in Iowa where you always leave feeling like life is good. Emma and her team are friendly and full of information to share, vendors provide high quality and varied products, and the farm store is always well stocked with items you didn't know you needed, but will return to buy time and again. We have also purchased from Lamb's Quarter Livestock and highly recommend connecting with Jeremy on cuts on cooking techniques.

My partner and I are in love with the farm store and all that the local goodies they have to offer. Emma and Laura always make our trip out feel special and are a joy to chat with. Can’t recommend their flowers, meat, produce, etc. enough. They even have a farmer’s market during the summer that’s a blast!!

What a fantastic experience. Getting beautiful lamb, flowers, vegetables, pesto sauce. Only one place in town. Rhubarb botanical. The nicest group of people you want to associate yourself with. We need to support farmers and small business. This is why we are in iowa....

Emma and Jeremy are a couple of the most genuine, kind humans I've had the pleasure of meeting and getting to know. I love her tinctures, balms, spice/tea blends, the flowers AND her herbs are top quality. Highly recommend over and over.

Rhubarb Botanicals is my absolute favorite supplier for local fresh flowers, plant starts, tinctures and other natural products! Emma knows her stuff and is always growing new varieties and refining her product line. I love supporting this local farm crew. They're the reason I go to market!
