A definite spot to hang out if you are at MGM Mandley Bay. Nothing can beat the live music, ambience and the atmosphere here!

Was staying at the resort for a couple of nights and while we were playing in the casino heard the band start on a Monday night. They sounded pretty decent so we went to check them out before heading up to our room. 3 sets later and we were still there! The band and the people watching were FANTASTIC! We had a couple of drinks and service was a little slow but it really was no big deal because we were having a good time. There was a female drummer that kicked butt and the lead singer was entertaining to watch. I definitely recommend if you're looking to kill some time, support live music, dance and overall just have a good time. P.s. I did not see a drink minimum on a Monday evening.

Hi, my name is Hector. Very good bar. From the moment I arrived, the bartender greeted me warmly. The drinks were very good, and the service was excellent. I recommend it 100%.

This has been one of my favorite “chill” bars in Las Vegas. My Wife and I just got back recently, and again had a phenomenal time. Some of our favorite bar tenders were Raul, Jesus and Mario! A few other great bar tenders, but unfortunately don’t remember their names.

Excellent seating, bartenders know their stuff, and the live music was great. Some fun games too if you want: giant connect four, foosball, shuffleboard, and more. Screens for the game(s) and the bar area has digital poker if you want.

This lounge has live music on select nights. This was a Friday night so a band was playing. Weeknights you might just see a solo guitarist. Music performers appear to change nightly. There’s a bar and lounge area where you can also smoke. There’s a small dance floor as well.

There’s no consistency with the drinks or the staff. I ordered The Macallen 12 neat and the first couple of days the same bartender served em up nice. The 3rd day a Saturday I was greeted by a new group of bartenders and my scotch was served in a clear plastic cup; absolutely unacceptable. I’m at a bar in a resort casino not a frat party. In the mornings I was ordering Irish coffees and again the first couple of days were great! Coffee, Jameson, and Baileys. That Saturday the bartender offered me cream and sugar and said Baileys would be extra. WTH man this was also unacceptable. For $18 a cup I would have thought they’d make it right. On top of that the bar smelled like stale beer, lime and stagnant water. For a large resort style casino this bar was actually awful.

I had a calm evening and was able to relax and have a Midori sour before heading up to my room. The bartender was very friendly and made an excellent drink.

I happened to stumble across this lounge located in the Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino after attending a show at the House of Blues. This is a great lounge that happened to have a live band performing 80s hits on a Friday night. The lounge has plenty of seating and a large dance floor. The band was great and I had a fun time. Defineately, plan on dropping by again in the evening if we are in the vicinity.

Fantastic entertainment - the band we saw in early May (Wonderboogie, I believe) was so much fun to jam with... The lounge area was quite inviting and open and comfortable. There was a decent sized dance floor. Enjoyed the one tv monitor that was showing 70's shows, cartoons and commercials to go along with the music being played that night and the vibe. Added another level of flair and it was fun. However, at the bar, my friend and I ordered a cocktail - for me, I had the old fashioned - with Old Forester. My friend, a cosmo (cranberry and vodka). We got our drinks, I immediately noticed an extra stiffness about the old fashioned, not made well and beyond any other Old Forester old fashioned I've had, I nursed it. Aside from not a great made cocktail, when I got the bill, it was a $20 cocktail, I guess for the "call" but then an additional $4... for what? I had to ask. The bartender, who was near impossible to understand, between him and another bartender who happened to be near him at the time I questioned this, the original bartender implied to the other that because it was an old fashioned, they made it a double. I asked who said I wanted a double and after multiple times of trying to understand what he was saying, finally, I was able to get out of him that's how they always make old fashioneds and got concurrence from the other one standing nearby with barely a head nod. I likely might have agreed to the double if they offered/disclosed for just $4 more - I'm sure both my friend and I would have agreed to the additional cost and taken the bartender up on that, but it was assumed on one and not even an option (well, not offered) on the other. Interestingly, whatever the guy sitting next to me had, he was offered a double. Obviously ,the service is super inconsistent. They were also pretty unfriendly. For this reason, I'd never order another drink from this bar again. But I might go back and watch more live music and dance! Appears I am not alone with this opinion.

We enjoyed an awesome 70's cover band, Wonderboogie, on Tuesday 05/07/24. They really rocked out that night, and their retro video stream was glorious with vintage commercials & TV clips. The videos were almost as much fun as the band! I loved that most of the seating options at Rhythm & Riffs had great views of the stage. The sound here was also decent, especially considering this bar is literally in the middle of Mandalay Bay's casino floor. Note, table signage warns of a 2-drink minimum; we brought our bar drinks to a table with zero issues. The good stuff aside, I feel like our bartender could have been more transparent with our drink order. Walking in, we'd found a couple of seats at the bar, and my friend asked about the available liquor for an old-fashioned. After choosing the label she wanted, I ordered my cranberry juice with house vodka. Drinks arrived and I paid. My friend then reviewed the receipt & saw she'd been charged for a double. After waving down our original bartender, he brought over someone else who mansplained that they always make old-fashioned cocktails as doubles, and rather condescendingly implied that we should have known that. I've never regretted a tip more in my life... OK, at least in the past few months. AND, if I had been offered to make MY drink a double for $4 more, I probably would've accepted. But my friend was not asked nor otherwise alerted. As a result, we passed by Rhythm & Riffs at least a dozen more times last week but we chose to not visit again because of this experience.

My favorite bar with fantastic live music in las Vegas. It's just a relaxed environment where Ty drinks and entertainment. The casino is right there so I'm able to relax and watch the live music or go off and play the slots. The bar tenders are so nice and make sure you are served like royalties. I love it here!

Decent bar here at Mandalay Bay. Great at night since there is a band. Cocktail servers are very good here as well.

Have liked this bar in the past couple years but, service on my last couple visits has gone down hill. On my previous visit this year the bar top was dirty and sticky. The bartender was less than friendly. On my last visit, again no improvement. It is a shame that a nice music venue is going down hill. My recommendation is there are better options in the area.

Although the ambiance and music were good, the service left much to be desired. When I asked the bartender is there was a server in the seating area, he gave me a bit of an attitude. I told him that I didn't want to take dollars away from the wait staff by ordering from the bar then sitting in the lounge. He said he'll call someone. When the server arrived she greeted me with a brief tude. However, after tipping her, she was surprised and then smiled. That's the smile I was hoping for upon greeting me. Hopefully she greets the next person with that same smile. It was beautiful.

The bartenders are knowledgeable, friendly and fun. The musical acts (the 3 different bands I've seen) do fabulous covers and sound great.

Customer service great. Was bummed the bar didn't have some key ingredients to make a mojito. Ordered a cosmo instead and enjoyed my drink. Wished they carried some food, I.e. bar food, snacks, appetizers.

It was great until I returned from dancing and someone stole my jacket. One security guy was clueless. Eventually wrote a report and were given $50 voucher which was nice but only a fraction of the cost of my jacket. I was told they would contact me and possibly be weeks.

I would give this two stars if based solely on wait staff at bar or tables, but the music is always great so I added an extra star. I have to say many of the reviews are spot on as rude bartenders and no one coming by at tables. Had to order at bar, and bartender was rude and would not honor a MYVegas voucher with the proper drink. He only said a well drink was available, which are free if gaming. Bartenders used to be really friendly here. Nice space and music, but will have to wait to get a drink.

So fun coming here at night during our stay at Mandalay Bay. Nice relaxing time watching the different bands each night and watching people on the dance floor. Also played foosball and shuffleboard during intermissions which was awesome!

The bartender Alex Ruiz is my favorite bartender at this bar for a few reasons. He always has a great attitude and smile on his face and knows what I want to drink before I even tell him. He make the best Moscow Mules. I definitely recommend checking this bar out if you are ever at Mandalay Bay and ask for Alex he is the best!!

So Mandalay Bay is my favorite hotel in Vegas. Not as fancy as The Venetian(which I love), not as trendy as Aria or Cosmopolitan, but it is just my style--casual, with a wide variety of food and drink options. Rhythm & Riffs is one of my favorite entertainment options. Adjacent to the center bar, so I can pop $20 in the bar-top poker machine, getting me free beers, while I enjoy the great live music on stage at Rhythm & Riffs. All Just steps from my room. I actually turned down an opportunity to see David Lee Roth, who was performing just steps away at House of Blues, because I was enjoying the "Nashville Unplugged" show at Rhythm & Riffs. There are cocktail tables closer to the stage, for those who want a better seat, as well as a dance floor, for those who are so-inclined. And there are always a lot of folks drinking, dancing and having a good time.

Made reservations and we were sitting promptly service was excellent attentive, but not overbearing. My only complaint was that they advertised having small bites or appetizer food and no food was available. The waitress told us we could bring in carry out from the nearby restaurant, but then a manager came And told us we couldn't have it and we had to leave. He ultimately relented after he understood that the waitress told us we could bring it in. Just be aware that no food would be available. I'll review Nashville unplugged in a separate review.

Bands were awesome and the people encourage the energy with their willingness to dance often

One of the worst I've ever seen waited for a service for over 28 minutes and no one has showed lotta customers complaint about their services and no one cared! Zero customer service!!!

Our friends were raving about a live band: Patrick and the LVB. We parked at the Mandalay Bay parking structure and took our ticket with us, as posted. Thankfully there was a table available. Our server, Izel, was friendly, attentive , and quipped with us. She made sure our drinks were always filled. The dance floor is a little small but it didn't matter for people who were dancing at their tables or in between. The band was very upbeat and nonstop. If you want entertainment, you gotta come here and see some drunk people's funny dance moves.

Really pathetic service - total lack of service. On Tuesday night after watching the Vegas Golden Knights win the Stanley Cup, my wife and I went to Mandalay Bay to continue the celebration. I sat down to listen to live music inside Rhythm and Riffs. It wasn't busy in there. It was 10:30 PM when I sat down. It took the server ten minutes to stop by and ask me what I wanted. I told her that I just wanted a bottle of water. About ten minutes later she came back - by this time my wife had joined me - she said that she couldn't read her own writing and couldn't remember what I ordered. I told her that I wanted a bottle of water and that my wife wanted a Bailey's on the rocks. We walked out at 11:00 pm when it became apparent that we were not going to get anything to drink. 10 minutes to see a server, 10 minutes for her to tell us that she couldn't remember an order for a bottle of water, 10 minutes waiting in vain for a drink. I tried to find a place on the MGM website that I could contact them, but like getting a drink at Rhythm & Riffs - that's a challenge too.

Went in on a Saturday night and it wasn't too crowded at the time. We sat ourselves at a high top and waited 15 minutes with no service or greeting. We made eye contact with the waitresses a few times and they would walk past us and up to assist tables that sat after us. We ended up leaving; do not recommend lol.

Stopped by last night for drinks and had an absolutely horrible experience. We sat down at an empty high top near the bar and watched waitress after waitress walk by and completely ignore us. Finally after 15 minutes I went to the bar and got our drinks. Even the lady behind the bar seemed annoyed that she had to make us drinks. Maybe it was the fact that we were using comped drink couplings, I am not sure but the level of rudeness was epic level.

By far the worst service iv ever came across. It's like pulling teeth to get a drink around here. Bar was slow and I was completely ignored by the "server" Jorge. Don't waste your time at this place

The venue was accommodating as we had a social there and it was last minute. Everyone was really friendly. For that they get three stars. The cocktails, were just way off. I started with an old fashioned, best way to describe it is they combine about 4 glasses of leftover cocktails melted ice and served it. There was no bourbon in it and it just tasted like bitters and water. It was awful. The next cocktails were not much better. Stick to bottles of beer, safer.

All right where to begin , this location in 24 hours and located near the back(Ish) close to Lupo. All the times I have visited I have only encountered the same bartender once so it feels like this is a "Routing Area Bar" meaning other bartenders from closed venues are probably staying afloat by getting whatever hours they can, it's a rough time right now . Times have changed , drinks don't just come for free anymore but I have discovered the best way to get free drinks , make sure you have an mLife Card , when you sit at the bar, put in a Minimum of 60$ I like to put in 100$ ( a 20 won't do it anymore). Now go to games and select the Duces Wild game , see you are much less likely to WIN BIG at duces wiled but breaking even is extremely easy , when the bartender brings your drink make sure the ticket he printed out doesn't have a charge , because if it does you point at your balance and request it be comped ((if he says no, you have ALL THE POWER to walk away and try a different bartender)) however if you get that free drink and want them to keep coming make SURE you tip Minimum of 5$ but a 10$ tip practically guarantees the bartender will make you his primary focus .. It's Vegas during a pandemic , money talks, attitudes gets you nothing. Keep smiling and don't be a sore looser , and be nice to these Guys/Gals, they are trying hard to work. This place is okay, but when things come back, this place will be glorious

Came with a big group to hear Phoenix play and did not disappoint! They were incredible! I will definitely Be back to see them again!

We plan to go herego when we stay at Mandalay Bay in May / we have comps from My Vegas for free drinks / have to see who is performing then Will do a complete review after we go there

Used to go to R&R, have drink and party with friends all the time. They since have become too cheap to keep the best cover band in LV. Phoenix was by far the biggest draw ever. They would play from 10 PM to 2 AM. The lead singer, Tony, is phenomenal and the rest of the band incredible. None of our group, most of us lifers here, will step foot in R&R again nor do any of us recommend it to friends, coworkers or people from out of town visiting. You were lucky to have them when you did...Apparently too hot and classy a rock band for MB.

Similar experience to other reviewers. About 8pm, sat at a high top table. Took a while before the waitress could stop chatting with the bar tender and come over. Ordered a drink - was good - and wanted another and waited, but next time I saw her she was walking out / home. 3 stars because she was nice that one time and could tell there was alcohol in the drink, but service is really a problem here. Would try another place next time.

Of all the MLife properties, this is the worst as far as service and drinks. I tried it 3x as I like staying at Delano and they literally can't make a simple Old Fashion. It's a simple recipe, not hard. If you want a Jim beam and coke it's fine but anything with more than 2 ingredients...forget it. I asked for Bourbon and the bar tender reached for Jack. Damn know your whiskeys people. I'm not going back, they suck.

Nice place to pull off from the hustle and bustle, watch sports on multiple monitors, play bar-poker, etc.....oddly enough though, the AM bartender was a hoot was serving us at 10:30. We returned for MNF Game at 4pm and the bartender stated they opened at 3pm.......he's wrong.....want the early guy back! No food here either.

Very unprofessional service. Orders my first drink and the bartender complained that he was the only one working. To his credit, he was literally the only one working. The 3 other bartenders were standing around doing absolutely nothing. Orders my second drink from same bartender. He pointed to one of the other bartenders. So I assume that means I need to wait for one of the other bartenders to wake up. Won't come back to this place. Update: not sure they know what they're doing. you can order the same drink from two different bartenders and they'll taste completely different.

Mandalas Bay kept delivering the punches. This was a pit stop after our treatment at Lupo's and before we got harangued at Libertine. I'm hoping they were short-staffed because it took a minute to get drinks. I had a lime zone that I took as a shot because it was so bad. The description looked delightful and the taste is indescribable. The seating was not comfy. I felt grifted, not riffed.

Great lounge bar inside Mandalay Bay to people watch. Go on a Saturday or Sunday night were they have a live band that plays request.

If I could rate a zero I would. Our server kept over charging for drinks and my dirty martini was all olive juice.

My favorite place for beer and some fun talk with bartenders. Aaron and Joe are the best guys behind the bar! Aaron has the best customer service, very polite and helpful and Joe will make you lough hard! Great place and great customer service. Open 24/7.

Great night with Phoenix playing! Outstanding band in a great venue with excellent service! Can't wait to come back again!!!

Good place to take in some nightlife without having to wait in line and pay cover. The crowd is mixed with all ages (20-something couples to people in their 70s) and backgrounds, so just have that in mind. I personally find that it makes for a fun, friendly atmosphere. They have a lot of tables to sit at and people-watch while enjoying a drink. I found it to be a good compromise for my group of friends....some of us wanted a place to dance and some of us didn't want to go through the fuss (and standing all night) of a nightclub. So going here was a win-win!
