Riad Hotels in the Old Medinas of Morocco

"Situated in one of Fes’ two medinas, Riad El Amine is a feast for the senses. Classic Moroccan architecture and arabesque design dominate this riad, in extravagant ornateness. The hotel welcomes guests into their quarters with rich, warm colors and tiled floors. Suites feature high ceilings and sitting areas for guests and tea. A courtyard pool’s blue oasis serves as the ideal social gathering area." - Mark Fedeli

The burger was so delicious, and the tacos were incredibly good. The restaurant was clean and offered a few different options: indoor seating with air conditioning or outdoor seating with a great view. Our server, Zakaria, was professional and kind, and the desserts were amazing. Such an incredible place, will definitely come back!

Spectacular. If you've seen Inventing Anna, it reminds me of the place in Morocco they stayed at. Ornate, luxurious, gorgeous. The service is also incredible. We had one server go way out of his way to help us. Above and beyond.

The property was stunning. It was quiet and the rooftop restaurant had a lovely view. Bouchra was so helpful and they will help with any travel or tour needs. Such a nice stay after coming from thee Sahara!

Very nice and impactful Riad recently renovated, the staff is very friendly and trying to do their best. However we had few troubles during the stay: we got a room different from what we booked and out of 3 nights they gave only for one night the one we booked. The breakfast is pretty limited and not at level, no gluten free option. We had massage in the spa pretty average and not at value for money. Overall the place is nice but service very poor.

We recently spent a couple of nights at Riad El Amine in Fes with my wife, our kids, and my in-laws, and we had a truly wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and hospitality. The riad itself is stunning—elegantly restored with traditional Moroccan charm and attention to detail. The rooms were spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, providing both comfort and a real sense of place. A special thank you goes out to Zehra, Pele, Adil, and also the amazing team working on the rooftop. Their kindness, professionalism, and attentiveness truly made our stay extra special. They went above and beyond to make sure everyone in our family felt at home, and their personal touches did not go unnoticed. The rooftop is a true highlight—an ideal setting for unwinding or enjoying dinner, complemented by a selection of delicious mixed drinks in the evening. Traveling with both kids and older parents can sometimes be challenging, but the staff at Riad El Amine made everything seamless. Their thoughtful service and friendly approach made all the difference. We’re grateful for the experience and would wholeheartedly recommend this riad to anyone visiting Fes. We’d love to come back again!

I didn’t stay at the Riad. I only went there to get some food and enjoy the rooftop view. The place itself is absolutely beautiful. I loved every inch, every ornament, every detail and every color. However, despite the diverse menu, we were only offered two options, which was disappointing. My order took a very long time to arrive, and the prices were more than double the usual. A stunning setting, but the dining experience didn’t quite live up to it.

Beautiful Riad with splendid architecture. Amazing designs and history of the hotel. The rooms and bathrooms are wonderful. Slightly disappointed with the service. I would expect near perfect service for a 5 star hotel. Had to ask two separate staff for a cable adapter. The menu is very limited and they didn't mention what items were unavailable until we asked for the dishes. This among other small issues made the overall experience slightly worse than it should have and could have been.

Great Riad! All the staff was very polite and helpful. They provided with transport , a super guide ( Abdul Soussi - sorry if misspelled, or Mr Sammy Davis Jr) and all the information we ever wanted . The food was traditional Marocain, at the breakfast you eat well and good. Room was clean and the bed was a standard 5 star mattress. Also I recommend the Hamam and Massage experience. An overall very nice hotel with beautiful architecture and lovely staff.
