Wonderful food! Inventive and unexpected flavor and texture combinations all served by a friendly wait staff (hipster without the attitude). The pasta dishes are fantastic with some the best pasta (flavorful, chewy) I've ever had. A very good wine selection, too. Loud but not so loud that you have to quite shout.

Went there for dinner with some girl friends as we heard great things. We went there a little early for dinner and place was still somewhat empty. We ordered several appetizers and 4 main entrees to share. The appetizer with the fried egg was delicious. We were impressed with the appetizers but underwhelmed by the dinner entrees. The two pasta dishes we had were both super salty and the chicken teriyaki was just average. The service was excellent but we were kindly asked to leave after 2.5 hours so they can seat the next reservation. I guess I understand it's busy, but we wanted to hang out and catch up, and we tipped well and we were willing to order additional drinks. Overall good food but overpriced.

Great server, excellent food, interesting cocktail list, wine list with many new & unusual choices & the restaurant has a nice atmosphere. Would return tomorrow. Danielle was our server and steered us very well throughout the meal. Bottle of Cabernet Franc, the carrots with hazelnuts, buckthorn berry jam & pickled mustard seeds was almost as good as the kale with oyster crema, Anaheim peppers & quinoa (which was outstanding!). The Pappardelle bolognese with kale was tremendous: great winter feast. Staff was very friendly. Noticed some acoustic ceiling tiles: may have responded to previous sound issues. There were none tonight.

45mins wait between apps and main course. Asked 3 different people for sparkling water before eventually getting it. Food was cold when it arrived. Burger was finished before the fries so they kept it in foil to keep warm, but then the bun was soggy. Made reservation for this 2 months ago, yet they still put us on the central community table. Really disappointed. I've been here before and it was great. Expectations were not met this time.

Everything about this place is awesome! The decor, atmosphere, staff and most importantly food. Went here on a Friday night and was lucky enough to score a seat at the bar. The bar staff was really attentive and made great drink recommendations. There were three of us and we did the 3 for 35 special before 6:30. We shared everything and ate way to much food. We even had leftovers! Can't wait to go back there.

A creative tapas or racion type menu, with combinations of ingredients that would satisfy an LA Silver Lake hipster, variations with things like kale, octopus, carrots, and oyster crema abound; the tattooed martini noisy shakers at the bar produce an incredible variety of cocktails, many of which actually taste delicious and will dampen the shock that you and your date just forked out $60 a piece for Brookline's most creative cuisine. Nevertheless, worth it. What's not worth it is trying to get a reservation: they have yet to learn how to manage their restaurant to maximize their revenue and your gratification; empty tables abound.

In two recent brunch meals, Ribelle's star quality showed: nicely rich Grilled Cheese; Truffle Toast welling a poached egg, with delicious shishito peppers and fontina cheese; superb Loco Moco (Hawaian/Asian style salad-in-a-bowl with sausage pattie, seaweed, farm egg); flavorful Hash Browns latke-style; Pancakes (a tad dry) with lime curd and dried raspberries; a monstrously sinful Cinnamon Roll suitable for a "last meal" or "assisted suicide"; and a very good custard-centered Maple Canele. Other guests liked the smoked Halibut with Tobiko ( flying fish) Cream on a Bagel and the Quiche. Noise and music levels can be high. Service is good.

Great new joint. Pappardelle is fantastic, the cranberry dessert rulz, and the service very good! Big communal table so be prepared to make some new friends.
