Ribmaster Soulfood and BBQ

I really enjoyed the food here. I had Ribs, Chicken and Brisket. The dirty rice and potato salad was amazing ... If you a brisket lover be prepared to drop an extra 10.00 upcharge!

I ordered catering for a small event I was hosting, and everything was wonderful from start to finish. The customer service was fantastic and replies were prompt. I’m a Texas native, so good BBQ is important to me and they did not disappoint. My guests raved about the brisket as well as everything else. I ordered green beans, baked beans, smoked sausage, and seafood pasta in addition to the brisket. The portions were huge and flavor was delicious. I will definitely return for catering and just to dine at their restaurant. Definitely give this place a try if you’re in the New Orleans area and want some good, southern BBQ!

Cool place to have good ribs and chicken. We had the ribs combo with macncheese, coleslaw and dirty rice. They have a cozy place to eat or you can take out, park places right in front. This place is a hidden gem in New Orleans. Must visit family owned place. Thanks for having us!

Food was GREAT, but they were out of everything I wanted by time I got there (so keep that in mind & go EARLY lol). Got the seafood potato, the Yakamein, & a chicken wing plate. With a $4 tip my total was $52 which isn't a bad price. Potato was so delicious, but for some reason after a few bites I had to RUN to the potty. Might be because it's hella cheesy idk. Would come back if ever in the area! Worth it in my opinion.

Absolutely Delicious! I had a brisket sandwich with yams as a side! My son had the smoked rib plate with dirty rice and potato salad! We both can't wait to return! As we were leaving there outside was the Smoker! This is Real True BBQ!

The service and atmosphere were amazing. Unfortunately the food wasn't as good. I ordered the burger double patty. Looking at the menu picture I was expecting a fresh ground beef patties ... what I got was pre-made frozen generic beef paties. Not flavorful at all. Since it was a Monday I decide try their red bean plate. The red beans tasted like blue runner red beans with some seasoning and a little bit of chopped smoked sausage. The pork chops that came with the meal was fantastic & the side of dirty rice was fabulous.

I was really excited to try Ribmasters as I’ve heard a lot of great things about them, AND they’re one of the few places that serve beef ribs. I bought the beef rib plate that came with two sides for $40.99. I thought that was a little steep, but realize cost for food has gone up, so I was still excited. When I received my order, I had 1 rib. I was shocked and a little upset as I had planned to share with my family lol. All of that aside, the potato salad and Mac and cheese were okay. The rib was tender, but lacked a little in flavor so the BBQ sauce was the shining star of the plate! I don’t know if I’ll patronize again, but I did appreciate the staff’s friendly demeanor and the military discount they provide.

Worth the stop if you’re in the mood for great bbq! Great food, service is as it should be, place is warm in temperature. Overall I’d give them 4.7 stars for the people and the food. May need another central unit to keep up with the cooking in the front area for the customers to be cooler.
