We had a wonderfully relaxing lunch at Ribot in Milan, choosing one of their garden seats so we could enjoy the light, breeze, and greenery around us. The ambiance was casual yet elegant — just enough charm to feel special without being stiff.
We shared a classic T-bone steak and savoured a bottle of wine, which paired beautifully and made the meal feel indulgent yet intimate. The steak was cooked to perfection — generous, flavorful, and tender — and the service was warm, attentive, and unhurried.
Ribot is known locally for its strong reputation in the steak and grill scene in Milan; many reviewers praise the quality of meat and the wine list. Its location is slightly off the beaten path (in Zone 8) but that adds to its charm, making it feel like a hidden gem rather than a tourist trap.
If you’re looking for a relaxed midday escape with excellent food, garden seating, and good wine, Ribot is a great choice. Just be sure to arrive with time — quality like this deserves the moment to linger.
