Ricciocapriccio offers fantastic service from start to finish — warm, attentive, and a real highlight of the experience which you don’t often find brussels dining establishments. The newly updated menu which we got to try on this visit features a beautiful range of dishes rooted in Italian cuisine, with a creative and experimental touch that adds a touch of surprise, but most certainly delivers. Each plate was delicious and visually beautiful. You begin enjoying the meal with your eyes before taking a bite. One area for improvement is the non-alcoholic drinks menu, which could go beyond basic water and soft drinks, there are many options these days. Overall, a refined and imaginative take on Italian dining, made even better by outstanding service.

Still one of the best Italian restaurant in Brussels, and I’m Italian. From the starters to the dessert, the chefs and the team offer us a real journey into the “Bel Paese”. The wine was really nice as well, not too heavy (we went for a business lunch) but still with strong and harmonious flavours. The three of us took different mains and everyone loved his own choice. Great service with the two ladies and the boss caring for the smallest details. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED 👏🏼 Bravi ragazzi.

This is my fifth time here and the restaurant never disappoints ! Food, service, and overall ambience is great ! The octopus was cooked to perfection and the yellow tail was fresh and full of flavour ! For the mains we ordered the pork and pasta with beef which was honestly really great ! Cocktails are an even extra plus (try the Negroni!). One of my favourite places in Brussels. Update: service is amazing ♥️♥️

Great experience, reservation recommended, overall good food and a good service. We shared all the plates and got a small appetizer from the house, which was the best dish of the whole evening (9.5/10) After the small appetizer, we got the polpo (8.5/10) and the yellow fin (8/10) - both super soft and tasteful. We ended with a ragout (7.5/10), of which the pasta was to me a little bit too al dente, but the pork stew mixed with it was stunning. The pork ribs (8/10) were soft and nicely combined. We also had a Negroni (9.5/10), a must have! Service was great, enough space at the tables and generally speaking a nice vibe. Would recommend! Edit: I have been going multiple times again; still amazing!

Exquisite. By far the most fulfilling dinner I had in a Brussels restaurant for a while. Very welcoming atmosphere. The staff were all very kind. The focus here is on food and not on pretentious "concepts". Everything we tasted was tasty and cooked to perfection. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for high quality, tasty food.

Everything was absolutely delicious. The service is great and so was the vibe. We were on the front terrace. Absolutely lovely.

Went there after a few years absence. Really got the feeling that it is living on past glories. Food was correct or simply ok - was expecting way more. I believe two other Italian restos within one minute walk in Rue de Page and Rue Americaine are currently offering more delicious food.

Absolutely delicious food, nice atmosphere and good service ! We ordered the poached egg in mousse and the pork belly as entrees, and risotto as main. All was impeccable in taste, with very unique twist of flavors! Will come back without hesitation :)

This restaurant is terrific. Every touch is on point. The service, food, atmosphere, and wine all come together to make this a perfect place for dinner. If you walk out without eating some burrata or octopus, you will regret it. Their specialty is the grilled octopus, whole and lightly seasoned. I could eat one all on my own; every bite is perfectly cooked and tender.

I love their octopus! The burrata is always good. The menu is not too big but varied. My friend was disappointed in the vongole, which come with bottarga (maybe a bit surprising indeed, and bottarga is definitely an acquired taste -which I have developed ;)). Also the cheese wasn't good: it was announced as parmigiano while it was pecorino (or grano padano?), and it was dry (possibly from the crust?). However! The owner came out and explained the cheese came from a bag and that they didn't always test bags upon opening. He totally agreed with our opinion and replaced the cheese. Additionally, he didn't charge us for the vongole because "She hasn't eaten anything". Very client-friendly experience thus! (And I repeat: loooove the octopus :))

Pricey and often packed place but ... the grilled octopus is out of this world and the service is always top-notch. I would love them to renew a little bit their menu in order to discover new treats.

Great restaurant. Small menu but big variety. Amazing service (always with a smile!). Great choice of wines. Adequate prices for a gastronomic Italian restaurant in Ixelles/Elsene area of Brussels. Seafood, fish, octopus dishes are a must. Small place, so reserving is probably recommended. Nice patio during summer. Will for sure be back soon.

It is my favourite Italian restaurant by far. It feels like entering the home of an Italian family who puts all of its passion in the cooking surrounded by the warmth feeling of being invited at their table. The quality and refinement of the food could deserve a 1star but they do not look after that publicity. A great, simple place, an unusual friendly service, and a feast for the palais with traditional Italian plates with a creative twist. I come here for more than 5 years and it's always a pure pleasure.

Perfect. Ambiance, service, food. The lovely waitress served us in three different languages and gave us a detailed walk-through of the menu of the day. I had a whole grilled octopus, which was delicious. Higly recomended!

Great italian restaurant. Tasty food, friendly and smiley service, great wine. Just a fabulous restaurant to go. I have known it for years and never been disappointed. Once you go there you will go back! Menu changes regularly. I recommend the octopus, salsice pasta, beef ravioli, etc. whatever you choose you will be more than satisfied.
