This place is a gem! I ordered the chicken pho with beef meatballs—PERFECTION. The broth is flavorful, and the meatballs are tender and seasoned just right. The spring rolls? Fire. The egg rolls don’t have pork (huge bonus for me), and the steamed dumplings are a 10/10 too. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. First time I went, it was like 20 minutes before closing, and not once did I feel rushed. That kind of hospitality goes a long way. I’m officially obsessed—this is hands-down my new pho spot in the area! 🥢🍜🔥

I've ordered here many times, both take out and eaten inside the restaurant. I've always had a pleasant experience. The food is always great and the staff is always friendly 😀 This time I had the tokyo spicy chicken with fried rice and the fried pot stickers.

The Pad Thai was ordered for take-out, but it’s actually more like the stir-fried flat rice noodles, so called the chow (ho) fun. It tasted not bad but it’s definitely not Pad Thai. It’s quite spicy and salty, so you may verify and make the adjustment with the server before ordering. By the way, the price was quite high; way above the average I would say. The cashier (probably the owner) was not quite friendly. No smile at all.

Best Asian Food in McKinney. Very tasty. Veggies were cooked to perfection! Kung Pao chicken.

Don’t waste your money or time. We decided to try this restaurant for the first time tonight based on its positive reviews, but unfortunately, it did not live up to the hype. We ordered General Tso’s Chicken with Lo Mein, Honey Sesame Chicken, Egg Rolls, Crab Rangoon, Chicken Wonton Soup, Shrimp Tempura, and two sides of Fried Rice. Sadly, this was by far the worst Chinese food we’ve ever had here in Dallas. Panda Express would've been better and cheaper. The Honey Sesame Chicken and General Tso’s Chicken were both dry, chewy, and clearly not fresh. The sauce had pooled at the bottom of the containers, making it obvious the food had been sitting out for quite some time. When we called to voice our concerns, Carlos was argumentative and informed us that the food was made earlier this morning, with the last batch cooked around 4 PM due to being busy. Admitting the food was made hours ago only confirmed our suspicion that it was old. The egg roll didn’t even resemble an egg roll—it looked more like a spring roll—and it was dry and cold. The Crab Rangoon, Shrimp Tempura, and crispy noodles (for the soup) were similarly disappointing—greasy, stale, and unappetizing and The Lo Mein was overcooked. The only saving grace was the Fried Rice, which was better than the rest of the dishes, though still not exceptional. To address our complaints, Carlos offered us a $30 credit toward a future order. However, we’re not satisfied with that resolution. After this experience, we’re hesitant to order from here again, as we don’t believe they can deliver either quality food or good customer service. What was supposed to be a quick and easy dinner turned into a frustrating ordeal, and we’re now left scrambling to find something else to eat. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this restaurant.

Rice and Noodles is a great restaurant where is the service is efficient and friendly. The menu is quite extensive and the portions are generous. I would highly recommend the Pho, it is flavorful and just correctly seasoned. If you are in the area, please do stop there for a bite.

I ordered the chicken Pho. At first the food tasted fine, but then I took a bite of the chicken, and something just didn’t taste right. I immediately stopped eating. My sister ordered the Beef Pho, and she was only given about 4 tiny pieces of beef, and her Pho didn’t taste right either.

I guess my combination fried rice and steamed dumplings were good, but my husband's General Tso was extremely dry and very little sauce. I will give them another try, maybe the cook was off that day. We did take out and the guy at the register was very nice

i got honey sesame chicken with side noodle and hibachi fried rice. it was very good. i usually go to the location in celina but this location is good too. food is good for the price. chicken is a bit hard but still good flavor. noodles was a bit soft but not terrible. fried rice was not bad either but it was better when i added teriyaki sauce to it.

Food was ok. Chonuts were not good (Doughy and that Hershey chocolate syrup didnt help). Service was great! And ambiance was quiet not even a low background music. Place was clean.

Ordered and entree and received it with no rice. Hard to eat an entree without a starch. By the time I was able to boil rice to go with the food was soggy and gross. Will not order again.

Gave one star because I couldn't give None. We ordered thru Grub hub ordered Beef and pepper. Mongolian beef and chicken & mushroom, fried rice and Ragoons One would think that rice should come with the meals. So we called and since Grub hub did the order they didn't send rice with the meal. The Celina store has never done that! McKinney said Grub hub didn't request the rice!!!! How weird is that! I never heard that you had to request the rice for your meal. So we got the meat and veggies and no rice. Rice and noodle said to bad! They didn't care. Beware! I never heard that you had to request to get rice for a Chinese meal. Beware of this from McKinney store. They blame Grub hub. Wow! Kind Customer service could go a long way!

Late lunch delivery via Door Dash on 5/7/2025 @ 3:15pm. Don't order the Korean Spicy Chicken, rubbery. And my steamed mixed vegetable was not included in the order I paid for. The shrimp tempura was delicious, and everything else was mediocre. Won't be ordering from them again. A late lunch that cost me $140.00 -- was not worth it.

Good place we hope to often. Fast service and food is decent. Ample parking with a Walmart, golden chick, and Braums in the same center

Valentin (manager) was warm and welcoming. This place cares about your shellfish allergy and if you're halal the only dish with pork is the ramen (they also have vegan ramen) which is not cooked with anything else. They are clean, spacious, and have a great selection of several cuisines. Chicken egg rolls, chicken dumplings, chicken won ton. The Thai fried rice was delicious!

Being from Southern California, we have some of the best ethnic food choices on the planet. So far, I've found So Cal Mexican food and Chinese food to be far superior. The Kung Pao Chicken here is horrible. It was at best, 20% chicken. The rest was sub par vegetables. It was mostly flavorless and tasted like it was cooked on a stove top rather than fired in a seasoned wok. Very disappointing!

As a customer, this place is really good! My picky eater son loves this place! Everything we have tried is really good! Service is great as well! Valentin has been my waiter a couple of times, and he's awesome! As a doordasher, this place tends to be on the top restaurants for delivery, Valentin and crew are really fast in getting orders ready for pick up! One thing I love about the hibachi noodles, is that it's not loaded with unnecessary veggies like bean sprouts!

I ordered delivery from this place for the first time and the food was great. I got the tofu pad Thai, egg drop soup, and boba and everything tasted good. Additionally the size of the pad Thai was more than enough for me to have leftovers. I was very satisfied and will probably order again:)

Ok so first of all shout out to the new team for encouraging old guests to try the new management. Valentine was so courteous and thanked us for giving Rice Noodle another chance. The pleasure was all ours. Ordered: pad Thai, Mongolian beef with fried rice, crab Rangoon, hot and sour soup. The food was great, yall. The quality is no comparison to the old food. One of my favorite foods is hot and sour soup. It's difficult to find good takeout Chinese around here, but I think I found my new favorite. And the crunchies were fried correctly, not stale at all. Excellent job turning things around! We'll definitely be back!

Me and my girlfriend had pho and ramen. Both were delicious and great price. The waiter was very attentive and food came pretty quick. Definitely will be coming back.

Waited 10 minutes and staff looked at us rolled their eyes and walked off ignoring us. They would not wait on us at all. Not worth wasting your time. We had to leave and find somewhere else to eat.

My family and I order from this place often! They are always so quick with fulfilling their orders, we're always so pleasantly surprised by how warm and fresh the food tastes once it gets home! Most of the time our orders are accurate, and even when they do make a mistake they're very quick to correct it and have no problem with accommodating us! Easy 5 stars, will definitely be ordering for our future Chinese cravings!

This place has great service and great food. They even gave us an appetizer and a desert on the house. I recommend this place for anyone.

We are (were) for 4 years regular customers of this Rice Noodle place in McKinney, near the 380/Cluster Walmart. This place used to be good. Besides one time several months ago when they forgot a couple of items in an order and we had to waste time and gas to drive back to get them, the food was always great and tasting. Unfortunately, this has changed. I don't know if they have a new manager or owner, but today's meals were very very disappointing. All the portions were 1/2 of what they used to be, everything was kind of tasteless, there was NO veggies in the ramen noodles, only one small half cooked egg versus usually 2 full boiled eggs, the spicy ramen was NOT spicy at all, spring rolls were smaller than usual and NOT cooked inside, the rice tasted "old" and "funny" and was not good (we even could not eat it), no more utensils and napkins, and no more fortune cookies neither! They just lost a good and repeat customer!!! I guess this place is following the current trend where everything costs a lot more but quality and quantity both go down a lot!!!!

Nothing special, just solid standard carry out to-go Chinese lunch special! And super fast gives it an extra star in my book. Like the fact that they have all the sauce at the front and you can grab whatever you want as you pick up food too.

We ordered delivery, which might not have the smartest idea . We ordered Orange Chicken and it had no sauce, all had been soaked up by the chicken and it was super salty. Also ordered fried dumplings, egg rolls, and Crab Rangoon, none of which were very good. The dumplings were ok, egg rolls were tiny and tastelessness and the Crab Rangoon didn't contain any crab as best I could tell. We won't order from here again.

We ordered the house ramen. The pork was too large and didn't have much flavor. Broth had no flavor. Noodles were just ok.

Mongolian Beef- the dish was very disappointing. It had 95% onions (which I love), 3% beef, 2% green onion. Horrible ratio for Mongolian Beef. I don't think I'll be ordering that dish from Rice & Noodle.

I eat Rice & Noodle - McKinney to-go probably once a week, and have been doing so for two years. I am always confused by some of the bad reviews, so I thought I needed to let any doubters or hesitating hungerers know the truth. This place is the best "chinese" takeout I have ever had. It's American Chinese in Texas. I'm not sure why people are expecting an authentic eastern experience. Anyway, I almost always get the Basil Jalapeno Fried Rice with Chicken. Why? Because it has tons of flavor, is a big portion, a great value, and most of all, extremely consistent. (See attached photo) I have tried a few other chicken entrees, which have been fine, but they are just not on the same level as the Basil Jalapeno Fried Rice with Chicken, so I seldom get anything else. Occasionaly I get the Pad Thai Noodle with Chicken. I have seen some people here complaining that it is dry. It is dry. It is their interpretation, their recipe. I enjoy it, but I have had better Pad Thai. I also enjoy the egg drop and hot and sour soup. Both are very good and rich, and they don't skimp on the eggs/ingredients. Both are always served piping hot and sealed well for carry-out. The service here is bar none. They are extremely quick. Everything is well done and problem free, from the online ordering, to the packaging of the to-go orders. I always order on their website, and my food is usually ready in 10 mins. That's typically two entrees and a soup or two! 10 minutes! When I drive my 12 minutes home, my rice is always extremely hot and fresh because it is completely sealed in their food-safe plastic box. It really says something, when I've probably had over 150 meals from here and never had any issue. It should be noted that my wife is allergic to gluten, which is in soy sauce. We always make a note in the online order to use gluten free soy sauce in her rice. Whether they do or not, we don't know, but they tell me it's GF and they write it on the box. I should also say that I have tried delivery a few times and have been pleased. The added fee is nominal, and the speed of service is just as quick. Sad will be the day if this place ever closes or if I ever move, as this is simply the best fried rice anywhere. This place is rock solid across the board. I'm obviously addicted. My family came here for a quick dinner and saw the 4 star listing. We ordered the beef hibachi fried rice, the beef was extremely tough, but the flavor was okay. We also ordered shrimp udon noodle soup and it was way too salty and the shrimp was freezer burned and finally we ordered the chicken pad Thai but unfortunately when it came out it was basically a pad see ew and not pad Thai. Also, there was black particles in the drinking water. If you like authentic asian food, this is NOT the place for you. We will not be coming back.

The only thing we have tried are the soups and when we are under the weather this spot very, very close to our house works for us.

Ordered 2 Generals Tso's Chicken with white rice. One of the worst Generals Tso's chicken I've ever had. Extremely soggy and with no sauce. Portion size of meat was the only positive thing about it. I threw the other one away because I could barely finish the 1st one because of lack of taste and quality.

There's a lot of choices out there for Asian cuisine in the area, and the short version of my review is that Rice & Noodle is now around the top of my list. The place isn't big or fancy. You order at the front counter and they bring the food to your table or booth. We tried a variety of dishes for our first trip - the House Special Ramen, the Spicy Black Garlic Shrimp Ramen, the Hibachi Fried Rice, the steamed dumplings and the crab rangoons. Everything was amazing. My pics don't do the potion size justice but they were huge! Inside the huge bowls of soup were tons of veggies, nice and fresh tasting, and plentiful proteins. I lost count of the number of shrimp in my soup, and they were good-sided. The same comments applied to the fried rice....flavorful and loaded with stuff. Only a couple things keep this place from getting five stars from me: - the Crab Rangoons were large, flavorful, and crispy...but the wonton they were wrapped in was a little denser than we like it. If you've read my reviews of other Chinese places, we light the lighter, crispier versions. - my wife's ramen, although loaded with veggies and stuff, was lukewarm, and a little bland. Maybe just an off batch. - they brought us our fried rice before our appetizers. Kind of a pet peeve of mine. However, overall it was a great dinner. We'll be back soon.

We ordered wonton soup and a dinner over the holiday weekend and everything tasted burned. The fried noodles with the soup were stale. We've ordered multiple times from Rice & Noodle, but have been very disappointed the last couple times.

First time finding a Chinese restaurant in/around Prosper. This was a great find. Tasty favorites we love were done great. General Tso's chicken, Hibachi Noodles, Honey Sesame Chicken, Orange Chicken and Chicken Hibachi Rice. We ordered for delivery on a Friday night (for just a $2.00 charge!) And it was brought quickly. Definitely enough for leftovers and will order again!

I only got one thing: hot and sour soup ($2.49 for small). As soon as I saw it, I knew it was gonna be bad. Typically, it should be brown in color. I think they put Tabasco in theirs because it was bright orange. While it didn't taste very legit, it did have a decent amount of shiitake mushrooms, wood ear mushrooms, bamboo shoots, and tofu. They have disposable masks, N95 masks, and hand sanitizers for sale inside. The cashier was not wearing a mask, but apologized and said he misplaced it and didn't know where it was. I may come back to try an entree to update my review. But until then... Not impressed.

Pleasant surprise so close to home. Good flavor, quick and reasonably priced. Did come in early for lunch on a Saturday. We had the Thai chicken fried rice and the mushroom shrimp. Portions are big so we had enough to take home. Definitely worth a return visit.

Update: the manager called us after our second review to enquire about the order mishap and offered us one dish on the House on our next visit. It's good to know that the management cares. Have ordered from this restaurant before but this time I wasn't as happy with the majority of my order. The positive is the sweet & sour chicken with white meat chicken, the sauces, the steamed rice and the packaging was good. Here is the negative...the steamed potstickers had some type of cream inside and very little filling, the Eggrolls were small, very crispy with very little filling, the teriyaki beef was okay but the sauce was watery, and the seasoned rice had a bad taste. So I threw out everything but the sweet & sour chicken and steamed rice. If I ordered from here again I would not order what I did this time.

Yum! We were headed to Red Lantern for lunch. They are now closed for lunch and they do not open until 4pm. I looked to Yelp for another Chinese eatery with a high rating. I really would have never known this place was there because I rarely come over to this section of this shopping center. It is located on 380 and Custer next to Wing Stop. It is extremely clean inside. The employees we so kind and answered all of my questions. This is definitely an Asian Fusion....they have American Chinese Food, Japanese Noodles, Thai Noodles, and some Authentic Chinese dishes. So I would say they have a little for everyone. I started with the chicken egg rolls. They were hit, crispy, and packed with flavor. Next, I had the broccoli chicken extra spicy. It was just the way I like it. My boys had the Ramen. They devoured it. I will defiantly be back for more dishes. I can't wait!

Nope.. I spent so much time searching through yelp looking for good Chinese near me and it ended with me ordering from this place through Uber, but this is definitely not it. I mean it's edible but beef and broccoli literally tasted like someone cooked the two ingredients on a pan and forgot to add any spices or flavors. Orange chicken was edible but not great, the only thing I enjoyed was the broth from the wonton soup. The lo mein was literally just noodles, nothing added to it. Portions and presentation was good but Not the place for me.

I like rice & noodles. Good quality food. Good flavor. Good service and fast. The only criticism I have is that portion sizes have been getting smaller while price increased. Even so it's still a good deal. So I recommend Rice & noodles. It's good food.

Aside from getting one of my items wrong (I wanted jalapeño rice instead of the noodles) ....It's aight.... Tried the hibachi noodles, jalapeño noodles, rangoons, and sesame chicken. I like the hibachi noodles most. Jalapeño was quite spicy but tasty. I'm not super impressed like all the reviews say but I would eat here again. Generous portions. I'll keep trying other dishes. I'm not a fan of a restaurant that tries to accomplish various cuisines in one, because then they don't excel at a many recipes- because they make so many. This place serves chinese, thai, ramen... a lil bit mixed.
