This place has been my "Cheers" for 2 years now. The feel is laid back and there's a tv everywhere you turn. The staff is amazing and attentive, and their banter is perfect for all personalities! (Especially Megan's! Love her!) Karaoke on Fridays and Saturdays and the best prices in town!

Coming here for years. Megan Jen Lindsey Briley & Ross (all bartenders) greet me by name & without hesitation. Service is great. The food is good. They have weekly karaoke, shuffleboard a couple pool tables and an outdoor patio if you have an interest. J

Tried this place for karaoke night. There was no pressure to participate, had the normal range of great to ok participants. Seemed pretty standard for a bar, appetizers were good, it was a shock that soft drinks didn't have free refills, the wait staff was friendly but largely hard to find. There were 5 people in our group and we stayed for about 5 hours.

I’ve been coming to this bar for a long time and never had an issue until tonight. A bartender named Megan gave some of the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. From the moment she started serving, she was rude, aggressive, and completely unprofessional. She was telling customers to shut up, snapping at people, and acting like everyone there was an inconvenience. When my friends calmly stood up for me and pointed out how disrespectful she was being, instead of handling it like an adult or a professional, she immediately threatened to kick us out. No attempt to de-escalate, no explanation, just a power trip. This was embarrassing and disappointing, especially at a place I’ve supported and enjoyed many times before. One bartender managed to completely ruin the atmosphere and experience for multiple paying customers. If this is the kind of behavior management allows behind the bar, that’s a serious problem. I won’t be coming back unless something changes. Customer service like this is unacceptable anywhere, especially in a bar that relies on regulars.

Great neighborhood bar. Megan is awesome, and the main reason we drive a little extra to go there. Drinks are cold, food is great (except the fish and chips). Def will keep coming back!

I love this place! The Staff is always amazing and attentive. Megan, Lindsey, Jen and Briley are always on top of acknowledging every customer. I always recommend this place to anyone looking for a great vibe. The food is phenomenal as well.

It was a really nice place to visit. I came on a Sunday and watched the cowboys. I was told Karaoke night is a lot of fun too. Megan was my bartender and she was very helpful.

Megan is awesome and my favorite bartender here. My wife and I are both servers and bartenders and she gives amazing service and is always friendly. Love coming here when she is working.

It's really disappointing honestly, I wanted to love this place. The vibe is great, and the music is usually on point, but the staff is seriously dragging it down. After my initial encounter with Megan, which was absolute trash, I thought maybe it was just a fluke, so I came back a couple more times, hoping for a different experience. Unfortunately, it was more of the same. The second time, the bartender was just as unhelpful and seemed more interested in chatting with her friends/regulars than trying to generate new ones. My third visit was barely better. I hoped to see a different bartender, but no luck. The same crew was there. It was disheartening to see such potential wasted by a lack of professionalism. It is hard to justify coming back when there are so many other options with better service and drinks. If you're looking for a night out, I'd recommend looking elsewhere until they make some serious changes. But if drunk and coked up bartenders is your thing, five stars.

Nice bar and great service! Natalie was an absolute doll taking care of us and the woman bartender with glasses was super kind too- very attentive and even helped carry drinks. Food was really good and karaoke was a blast. Surprisingly won money on one of the machines and a worker gave it to us out of pocket since we couldnt make it back the next days because of work. Certainly a cheers type environment. Definitely will be returning!

Love the ambiance of this place during the day. Super chill, great music, extremely friendly bartenders, and good drinks. This is a "cheers" style bar with lots of regulars and everyone is friends. I can't speak for the night time but I love the day time vibe. Food is pretty traditional bar food. Sometimes great, sometimes just ok. But it's a bar first. Can definitely recommend if you are looking for a regular place.

The vibe of the place is what you would think dive bar but in the best sense. Service is excellent. We usually see Jen tending bar she's a peach. Food is bar food but a little inconsistent develed eggs are very good. Drinks poured correctly. On Sunday the football selection is a little limited. Partons are fun people of all types the best thing about a dive bar. We enjoy this place will frequent often.

Total dive bar but excellent. Great bar food selection, large space to fully immerse in karaoke or step away. Offers pool as an option as well.

for me!!! This place has the total vibe for fans of the friendly neighborhood dive bar! Megan & Jen are amazing and quick to wit, with your drink ready at hand! Such a great layout and a fun time to be had throughout!

This place is great! Megan was super attentive, and made us feel right at home. The bacon cheese burger was fantastic!!

That guy Bralie, terriawful, terrible and awful at the same time.! Always giving me the proper amount of alcohol in my shots and the hair makes me think he's another girl behind the bar.

Dive bar, however in a good way. Patrons are friendly and diverse. The bartenders Jen and Briley are always happy to see you and treat everyone like family. Food is expected bar food, however a lot of options. I love the flat bread pizza and home made fried cheese sticks ( they are big) and portion is allot. Be ready to share them. This is at least an every weekend stop. Fun ans friendly place.

The staff here is literally the worst and the female bartender deserves to be fired, I ordered a shot for about 4$ and paid in cash when I took my cash and walked away for a minute I realized she had not given me about 10$ back and I came right back to ask for my receipt bc she had not given me my receipt which is a proof of purchase that every restaurant is required to give, she wouldn't give me a receipt and also when I pointed out how she kept 10$ from me she started giving me attitude and gaslighting me for this situation when she clearly was the one who processed my cash. DO NOT come here that bartender is a thief!

Lex and Megan are amazing! They are the only amazing people about this bar. They are polite and extremely friendly. When they see our drinks need replenishing they are ON IT. It was busy and they aren't rude to us like another bar tender named Ross. He seemed extremely bothered when he was asked for simply water. I appreciate all of the other bar backs & bar tenders. Lex and Megan are the only reason why I will ever come back.

Ross is the son of the owner and he's extremely rude. He doesn't want to serve anyone and expects people to tip him for not giving decent service. He is extremely drunk when he doesn't work. He shows up to "work" on his days off and always thinks he is better than anyone else because his parents own the bar. He should carry himself more professionally. The only reason he has a "job" at Richardson bar and grill, is because of his parents. He should not be working at a professional level only because his parents own the business. He is not the best representation of this business I'm extremely sorry for anyone that encounters this guy.

Great bar the staff is top notch super friendly, great food. The owners have it going on.

Amazing staff, everyone is super friendly and quick to make drinks. The price is hard to beat, so affordable. RBG is my favorite dive bar to go to!

Female bartender on shift was incredibly disrespectful. Decent drinks, if you'd want to be degraded. Staff were horrendous, will never come back again. Staff could not be worse.

Staff is very rude and disrespectful to customers. They accused my friend of lying saying that they gave back his card and when they finally found it there was no apology. The place is good, the drinks are good, the staff isn't.

First time coming to this spot. Great vibe, was greeted and taken care of by the best bartenders Ive come across in the Dallas area, Megan and Jen. Never had an empty glass or had to wait for a drink. Will be making this a regular spot just for those two.

THEY DO NOT ALLOW SMOKING INSIDE ANYMORE (which is great- just wanted to mention since older reviews have the wrong detail; I couldn't smell any smoke odor either, so that's good). I came here to kill time while I got my car detailed across the street because some biscuit spilled fish soup in my car while I was Lyft driving. The vibe on a Sunday afternoon is chill and the locals waited until I finished my first drink before trying to talk to me, which was smart since I was pouting and scowling. I will likely come back for Friday or Saturday night karaoke if I ever find a free babysitter. Jen is an awesome bartender!

I have gone here a few times to drink. I like the bartenders I can't remember his name but it starts with a B. He's a good guy & he's friendly. I played pool, my friend did kareokie. We also played Ginga so never a dull moment. I keep going back. It's nice & big place. There's plenty of parking space. If you have not been you should go.

I've met friends for lunch and dinner here more than a few times, and went along with it out of politeness when they chose it. The only food that has ever tasted good is the tortilla chips. I've tried their burger, the fried chicken sandwich, the grilled chicken sandwich, the fries, quesadillas and the blt. None of them were any good, essentially frozen ingredients thrown together w/out regard for taste or quality. The last time I got roped into going to RBG I ordered the blt -- we all thought it would be pretty hard to make a bad blt, right? Wrong. The tomato slice was thin and tasteless, the single, sad leaf of iceberg lettuce looked old and the single slice of bacon barely covered the length of the bread. Completely SOAKED in mayo on both slices of bread, though. [ shudder ] The exterior of the place is run-down and sad-looking, too. Matches the blt.

Love this bar. Staff are the best. Meagan whipped me with a bar towel. Made my night. Felt it in the morning.

Day one staycation decided to try this local bar and grill for lunch. Great place all in masks and social distancing. Smoking allowed on patio. Jen the bartender greets you as you come in. Tried the basket of fried jalapeño, onions, pickles. Crispy with cool ranch to dip. We tried the hot cheese burger which was hot, went perfect with the ice cold beer. Great music lots of TV's each one with different programs. Lots to too if you enjoy shuffle board, darts and pool tables. Will come back good food and beverages.

Chris hooked up up! Not very crowded but a very nice place to hang out and have a few drinks.! Too Smokey though!

Had a lot of fun on New Year's Eve last night! Bartenders are super fast, relaxed, cool, just awesome! The music and watching these great dancers last night + the bartenders made my grump New Year's Eve into one of my best.

Nice atmosphere and drinks are great. Kinda deceiving from the outside but the inside is really nice.

I come here regularly the bar is great the bartenders are amazing, people are great! Cheese sticks are amazing as well as other food and very good prices! Nice laid back atmosphere!

This place is amazing, Chris and Mandie took great care of us. We had their homemade chips and Salsa and had to order more it was so great!!

Never been here before and will never be back. Walked in on a weeknight around 10pm and the music was so loud, I drank half a beer and left. My ears were ringing and hurt for a good hour afterwards. It was so loud, your grandmother could hear it across the street with the doors closed. I indicated to the bar lady that it was loud and I couldn't yell loud enough to give a drink order. It made sense why few people were there. Terrible business model. I'd be angry if I were the owner: they are a candidate for Bar Rescue.

People who give this place a bad review don't understand this place for what it is. It's a dive bar where you get cheap drinks- and if you want to order a drink- get up, use your legs and go to the bar. If you want food- ask for a menu at the bar- they will come get your order. To the ones complaining they didn't get service - you didn't get up and go to the bar - that is the standard protocol here. If you want sit down full wait service- try going to a dinner establishment - not a watering hole with the word 'bar' in the name of the business. It's Smoky- so if you don't like smoke- don't go here- or else you will complain. Dive bars that aren't smoky are not quite a dive bar now are they. If you like to throw darts- watch the game And be left alone- and play good music in the juke box- you'll like it okay. Just quit acting annoyed when you want to order a drink but you didn't get up and order it- it's how they operate. Good place if you know what it is and what your looking for

Briley is the best bartender i've ever encountered, very attentive and kind. Staff is friendly and always making sure everyone is alright. The music is great and the drinks too not too strong and not watered down! 100% will be coming back !

This is a wonderful dive bar. The smoke is well ventilated, the shuffle board is very fun to watch and everyone there is friendly. Bartenders casey and jen are lovely and drinks were very good (yummy and strong!!). Lots of pool tables and they also have karaoke on Fridays and Saturdays. Lots off fun!

Great drinks, awesome staff. Seems like a good crowd in there. Everyone is easy going. Smoking bar but the air is far better than some other smoking places. Wings are crispy and delicious.

Old school Bar. The cigarette smoke is way heavy. I had a great time playing pool and listening to the band.

Horrible service. Rude bartenders. I should be able to enjoy a nice cold beer with out being yelled at from a bartender not wanting to do their job. It should never be personal at any establishment it's always supposed business first.

These people are very racists and rude, the waiter brought me cold Buffalo wings that had my stomach upset for 2 days, not the best service at All!! It's definitely not for black people to go, they look at you crazy, talk to you rudely, and will service you last! Eat elsewhere

Great Staff and the place is kept clean. Nice floors good job on the material selection. "KC" & the Sunshine band you are a Rock Star! You know who I'm talking about bartender and waitress KC. How about a $2 beer pint special during the week. Great place to hang out with friends and thanks for making us feel like family!

I love this place because it's not full of drama. You feel at ease after you have had a long hard day. Mike the co owner is a cool boss from what I see...the staff I ABSOLUTELY LOVE AND IS SO DOWN TO EARTH BUT the REAL STAR OF THE SHOW IS CHRIS AND JEN! I been coming here for over 6 yrs. I love this dive bar. Cheap drinks and good people!

If I lived in Dallas, I'd be in here probably way too much. Shelly was here working the bar and it seems that everyone here knows and loves her, and you can add me to that list. She's rad. Great atmosphere, great music, great drinks and great people.

Not sure what Aaron L. has to say below, I'm minority and have never been disrespected in this fine and relaxed establishment. Owner, management, and staff are great and courteous and go above and beyond to ensure that this is a great customer experience. As a person of color, feel free to come here, vibes are always welcome and the atmosphere is so awesome. Plus, bonus - food and drinks are great!

I cannot decide whether I liked this place or found it disgusting. It is definitely a dive bar in every sense of the phrase. A dark, seedy atmosphere with decor and design dating back to early 90's - think Spuds McKenzie posters. It also reeks of smoke but overall is relatively clean for this type of hole in the wall. On the positive they have decent size TV's, a pool table, outdoor seating and a lot of tables. They seem to have a steady crowded of local regulars which could make for some interesting people watching. They only had one employee that I saw who was a surly older woman with a gruff voice and no-funny-business attitude which fortunately made for quick service. The biggest positive you will find are $2.50 domestic pints and $1.50 PBR pints. If you are already in the area with a group of your bros and looking for a quiet night of heavy but cheap drinking this could be the place for you... or if you are a drunken sailor or a burly truck driver. They also have a karaoke machine and stage which could take this place up a star if I hit it on karaoke night.

We love dive bars and This would be my 2nd time coming to this bar. I have mixed feelings about it. They play good music that won't make you fall asleep, nice crowd and fair prices... All great but this is also the 2nd time I've seen a waitress/bartender come in to the restroom and have a drink... Is that legal? I really want to like this bar but I don't want them serving me while under the influence.

Best bar and grill in Richardson. Great burgers and Mexican food when Maria is cooking. Crowd ranges from blue collar to business owners to executives. Hard to tell the difference sometimes and that is good.

Love this bar!!! Bartenders are awesome and friendly and make excellent drinks. Great atmosphere and fun karaoke on Fridays. People are friendly had a great time! Only gripe is the plastic pint "cup" for my beer. It left me very confused. lol!

Great neighborhood sports bar, with a friendly regular crowd. Bartender-ettes Kacie and Jen do an excellent job, and as a bonus are "easy on the eyes." Atmosphere-wise, I'd put it a notch above the "dive" category. Pool table, Buzztime trivia, sports on TV, Country on the juke box.
