A long time has passed since I last visited the Richmond Night Market. I was impressed by the significant improvements since my last visit a few years ago. The quality of the products has improved, and there are now more games and bigger food stands. There are even activities for kids, such as a bounce castle and a zipline.
Among all the food, the Korean BBQ chicken skewers stood out. They came in four flavors, and I tried two of them: a sweet and savory sauce and a galbi flavor. It was a shame they were sold out the second time I visited, and I couldn't get more. I also remember the Dubai chocolate-covered strawberry cups from the dessert section. I wish this was a menu item at a cafe near me!
The market runs every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 7 p.m. to 12 a.m., from May through October. The lines get incredibly long, so you must buy a Zoom Pass! The regular admission is $4.75, while the Zoom Pass costs $28.00 for six entries. Since it's unlikely you'll go six times alone, you can offer to share the pass with friends, family, or even other couples or families in line. They'll likely be happy to join you and get through the express lane without the long wait.
