I brought in my tuxedo jacket, vest, pants, and shirt for expedited dry cleaning because I needed them the next day for a wedding I was standing in. I paid the extra fee for expedited service, and the store promised next-day pickup by 5 p.m. At 2 p.m. on the promised pickup day, the manager called to admit they had forgotten to put my order in the expedited queue. That mistake meant my clothes wouldn’t be ready until the following day — completely useless for my travel schedule. Not only did I lose the expedited service I paid for, but I also had to burn extra gas and time with a 30-minute drive the next day since I don’t normally work near that location on Fridays. Yes, they refunded the expedited fees and tossed me a $10 credit, but that doesn’t come close to making up for the stress, wasted time, and inconvenience caused by their error. For a business built on reliability, this was an unacceptable failure. When customers pay extra for next-day service, it’s because it’s critical — not optional. I will not be going back, and I would strongly caution others: if you actually need your clothes on time, don’t count on this place to deliver.

Rae is awesome! Excellent customer service, friendly and professional. My dry cleaning, pressing, sizing, alterations, etc., are always done right and on time. Best price in the area! Highly recommend Rick's Cleaners!

Am very years long time customer don’t like to write reviews & less is 5star but had to write this not once’s but twice please let me no if am wrong #1 your paying for your service before u receive your clothes #2 on the ticket it said when u will be receiving your clothes back #3 Its not on time when u post to receive it time gas & your on your time & all you get is sorry call head office Luis all he give is 5-10 how slap in the face & look like it’s getting worse… looking on there reviews it’s not getting better always remember Ower’s if it wasn’t for us customer your business will not be around who ever own this company need to fix this matters asp

I brought my white clothes with some dirt on it and the same dirt Was on it at the pick-up. It was just like they iron my clothes and put it in a plastic bag. This one need a complete refund.

I had our suits dry cleaned for our upcoming wedding. The shirts were still wrinkled. And they messed up the crease on the blue pants. I will need to iron them out. I won’t be back.

Click and bait - you will find more nicer genuine people around. This what their website says ““Press Only” Price: 85% of dry clean price” and when you go you will get a whole different story. 5.49 irrespective…..:

I use Rick’s cleaners for all my dry cleaning & laundry needs. They do a great job in a very timely manner. I would recommend giving them your business you won’t be disappointed My comforters come back like brand new!

First time the stain appear, they said they cannot guarantee to get rid of all stains (honestly I don’t even remember that stain being there) Then, they offered redo, which said to take two days, but after two days I found out it would take longer for redo, instead of shorter ( you know acknowledging their under-performance during the first time, try to retain the customer …) On Friday couldn’t wait any longer, decided to take of back. This time it added a burn in the collar. The manager at the 51st store blamed on the manufacturer for using certain material What the hell was that? NEVER TRUST THIS BUSINESS!! Unless this store pays for the damage they caused to my shirt, I’ll keep posting the evidence here and on Yelp. Until they fix the problem!! I have receipt, and pictures as evidence. I have the short for proof as well.

Please avoid this place is absolutely horrible. I came here to get a brand new shirt pressed only for my wedding. The shirt came back dirty at the collar. I am one that is understanding and get mistakes happen. What bothered me the most was the lady did not have any remorse or compassion for the situation. First, she accused me of bringing in a dirty shirt to have pressed. Secondly I told her I needed this to get resolved at my wedding was the next day, Saturday. Her response was again with no emotion and told me it would have to be Monday. I then asked for a refund and was told I have to call the manager to ask for a refund! This place is not worth your hard earned money or time. Please avoid and learn from my mistake!

Their WORD it's not reliable. They tell you when you can pick your clothes up and they'll call you. They don't call you. You have to end up calling them one or two days after the day they said you would receive a notice to pick up your cold clothes it's an inconvenience. It's inconsiderate and they're my clothes and I want them when you tell me to my face when I can have them.

Dropped off a jacket that had several stains on the sleeves. They warned me they would try to get it out, but no promises. Looked brand new when I picked it up from them for less than $5. Thank you!

I took in a black turtleneck sweater to be cleaned and Spoke with the owner name Ian He asked me to bring back the sweater and he had cleaned up fuzzball's off and making it look like brand new again I want to thank the owner Ian for doing a wonderful job.

Friendly and helpful staff. King size comforters only $20! We've had two cleaned and are very happy.

Nice people and decent service for a good price. I took a few coats in to them - two had stains and one was vintage. They did a good job getting about half the stains out. One was years-old blood (if you want more details I'll need to consult my lawyer) so I wasn't expecting them to get that out. And they didn't. So. Evidence remains. But they did a better job on some of the black smudge stains on my white coat.

I use the cleaners due to the low price, but customer service is significantly lacking. Desk attendants are dismissive and sometimes simply will not mark stains when asked. They do not reply; the just ignore the customer. I will continue using this dry cleaner's for convenience and price, but management should hire desk attendants who will at least be polite and acknowledge customer requests.

Junelle is just the best. If she sees me pull up she has my clothes ready for me before I walk in. She is always pleasant and greets you with a smile. We have always been happy with the quality of service.

Great service! My husband and I have been going here for years. Our clothes are always done on time and properly... plus the price is great.

While I don't have to do dry cleaning very often, this is the only place I go when I do. The service provided is cost effective and every single encounter I've had with a member of the Rick's Cleaners team has been phenomenal. I've been in three times over the course of the last two months and each time Theresa, the young lady running the store, has been helpful, and cheerful! She does a tremendous job answering any questions I have and making my time feel like a priority. I will definitely continue to use this store for my future dry cleaning needs.

Less than one star. Lacking in customer service. I will not use them again. Don't trust their pick up dates/times, if you need something done quickly and by a certain date. I needed some items cleaned with a quick return. Dropped off some items to be dry cleaned. I was given a pick up date of after 5pm on the following day. When I went to pick the items up, I was told something happened and the items are not there for pick up and there is nothing that can be done. Prior to dropping my items off, I called and was told the items would be back the following day after five. When I dropped off the items, I was assured they would be ready the following day after 5pm. I was even told the truck usually arrives around 1:40 pm if I wanted to pick them up earlier. The items were needed for a competition the morning after scheduled pick up (can no longer participate in the competition).I advised the representative of needing the items ready and on time, due to the competition. I was told the items would be back on time and it wouldn't be a problem. I have asked to speak to a manager and was told I wouldn't be able to until Monday. Again, if you need reliable service, this is not the place to go. Rick's will have a lot of unhappy people today.

I don't use the cleaners very often because of bad past experiences, but I had a pile of my husbands work clothes that needed some TLC. Rick's Cleaners is down the street from me, and was the most affordable cleaner in the area that wasn't charging an arm and a leg. So I tried them out and was very impressed with speedy service and fair market pricing. Will return to have my wedding dress cleaned!

Gave Rick's one shot and they blew it. They tore one of my shirts. Yes, you read that correctly. I'm sure they would have attempted to fix it but after the piss poor job they did on the rest of the order, I wouldn't dare let them screw my clothes up further. The nice girl behind the counter said I could leave the shirt and the manager would call me but I just can't bring myself to trust such a sketchy place.

Ok, I have been on a journey for some time now to find a decent cleaners in Austin. Unfortunately Rick's isn't it. Gave them two trials, failed at both. While ricks is a discount cleaners that does not excuse poor service and quality. The first trip there They forgot to press one of my jackets (although they did manage to put it on a hanger). Two of my white shirts came back with black thread remnants all over the shirts. i asked about these and was told, it happens? It happens? how does it happen that you get black threads on two shirts when you are pressing them? could it be that you don't clean your presses? They did offer to redo the shirts and jacket. Unfortunately they were not any better the second time. I need a decent cleaners for my quality clothing!!

One star is one too many. I arrived at 7 am--their supposed opening time--so that I could drop my clothes off on my way to work. I went up to the door and began to enter when a woman in the parking lot shouted, "We're not open yet!" She was busy moving a tarp on her car. I got back to my car to check the time. It was 7:02. Y'all had my business until you lost it with your lack of customer courtesy / customer service. Either be open and operating at 7 like you say you are or change your time to accommodate unpunctual workers. Your lateness should not be cause for my inability to be punctual to my own job. Doesn't matter to me, really, I'm not going back there anyway.
