We came to Reno to visit a friend. We had heard Rick's Pizza was wonderful. Stopped in for dinner and see for ourselves. The restaurant is quaint and friendly. Easy to place an order, several wait staff members to assist. Atmosphere was energetic and pleasant. A couple of times a young man by the name of Max, who is the bartender, walked by our table on his way to assist other customers. As he passed he smiled and said hello to us which was very friendly. We got our pizza which was wonderful. We proceeded to eat and I continued to watch Max only because we was not only tending the guests at the bar, but assisted customers who were leaving and coming in. Smiling the whole time. I was impressed with his ability to be cheerful, smile, and keep up with the busy environment. As Max was walking by our table, i asked him for a box for our remaining pizza. He also mentioned he was going to bring a bag for our containers of Ranch Dressing, which has a fabulous flavor. Max got the box for the pizza, handed me the bag and when I said thank you, he said "you are so welcome". As we left, we made the point to thank Max again for his great service. His smile said it all as he said Your Welcome and waved us good-bye. Our next trip to Reno we will definately make a point of stopping in again and hoping Max will be there!

This is our favorite hang out spot in the area. The food is fantastic, the pizza is always great and served fresh out of the oven. The cheesy bread is also fantastic. The service is always great, all of the workers are willing to chat with the customers and are friendly and attentative. If you are looking for a great place to hang out and talk to friends, while enjoying great pizza and cheap drinks there is no better place to go.

Stopped here after a long day of driving. Great pizza, cheesy , with flavorful sauce. Ranch was also provided to dip. Great selection of beers on tap. Caesar salad was not my favorite. Parking and close to UNR.

Grear pizza didn't expect much since its a pizza bar. Buts it's really good. Pricey though.

This a great spot. After enduring the chaos of Reno, the friendly staff at Rick's were very welcoming. We were lucky to arrive at happy hour, and wings were on sale, so we promptly over did it. Pizza was excellent, BBQ chicken, and a pepperoni and sausage. They had menu names, I am sure they were both on the favorites list, but once you over do it on buffalo, and BBQ wings, followed by an amazing slice or two....ok more than two. Names are hard. I think there was a monster in there somewhere... Needless to say. Make sure you add this stop to your list. Oh... And the hairy wookie was delightful. You have to go find out what I am talking about....go...now.

Nice and clean. Well kept and airy open feel. Food was very good. We had the Mr Buddy pizza (I believe that was the name). All meat pizza and delicious.

Surprisingly good pizza, solid service but pretty loud atmosphere with all the TVs at max volume.

This was my first time ordering pizza and I was not disappointed! We ordered a 14" cheese pizza, pepperoni pizza and the Wolf Pack pizza. They were already good! Being able to order from them on the website was easy. Only issue is I was trying to call but the phone number doesn't work. Other than that, the service was great and they have a friendly staff. Thank you, Rick's Pizza!

Great place to go before the Wolfpack football games, it's close to the parking lot. We usually can find a place sitting at the bar, our favorite place to sit. Our bartender, Amelie, was helpful when I was deciding which beer to choose, also. Good music is playing, quite a few tables are full, and people checking on us.

Solid spot, would come back (but probably just for pizza next time) Rick's Pizza, Beer & More has a pretty chill, laid-back pub vibe with college-town energy. The place is super clean which is always a win! We went on a Monday night and it wasn't very busy, mostly just people grabbing takeout with a few other people dining in. Our server was friendly and helpful. One person in our group asked for extra oregano (not something a lot of pizza spots on this side of the country offer on the side), and though they didn't have, she was quick to offer Italian seasoning as an alternative, which I thought was super nice! Food-wise, it was kind of a mixed bag. We tried the Cajun tater tots, something about the flavor didn't hit right for me, but everyone else liked them so I'm chalking that up to personal preference. The garlic knots were fine, but needed salt; the marinara they came with was really good though! The BBQ chicken salad was exactly what you would expect, nothing bad about it, but also something you could definitely replicate at home. As for the pizza, we got The Big Mackie, The Twins, and a create your own with artichoke hearts, mushrooms, olives, and garlic. They were all great! The Twins was the winner for me tonight. I've never been big on white sauce, but the flavors worked really well. The only thing I would say about this one is that it would've been better dipped in BBQ sauce instead of the usual side of ranch. They carry Coke products (bless), as well as the typical beers and bottles. Price-wise, it's about what you would expect for pizza. It's reasonable if that's all you're getting, but sides and extras definitely add up fast. I'd still say that it's worth it for a casual dinner, especially if you're splitting it with a bunch of people. Final thoughts: I'd come back, but next time I'd probably skip the appetizers and just stick to the pizza. I'm also curious about their sandwich situation. Some of them sounded really good. Overall, it's a solid little spot for a low-key meal with friends or family.

This was my first time in Reno and I had such a beautiful experience at Rick's pizza. I got the cheese sticks and veggies pizza and it was definitely a lot of food for one person. The cheese bread was my favorite and the service was amazing

Rick's is a great place to go before a Wolfpack game. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was very welcoming although it is a small dining area with a few spots at the bar. Beers available on-tap or bottles and served cold. The 2 pizzas we recommend are the Big Mackie or the Wolfpack. The former boasts pulled pork with a white creamy sauce and the latter a more traditional four meat with red sauce. It's a great place with the college vibe.

Wow I was really impressed with Rick's Pizza. I ordered The Tata and added some pizza sauce. The Tata was so delicious! Perfect balance of a thick crispy crust and melty cheese. My husband ordered the wings and he really enjoyed them too. Rick's pizza is located right across from University of Nevada. The staff was super welcoming and greeted us immediately and had us seated. Great vibe and a fun environment. I can see why my daughter and other college family's enjoys coming here!

8/25/2025 decided to try this place for first time. Nice atmosphere, friendly people working there. But the meat lovers pizza was just OK.

We stopped by for a drink before heading across to UNR for a concert, great decision. So good, we came back after and got a couple more drinks, a pizza and wings to take home. It smelt so good that only half of the food made it home

Ordered ahead, thought the door was locked upon trying to enter. Bartender ran over and opened it, explaining it had been sticking. Got a soda to go and the Hawaiian pizza was amazing! Super Smokey ham and sweet cold pineapple! Yum! Place looked super cool. Almost ate the pizza there.

It's a small bar I guess we went on a trivia night, but we just went to take out. Wait was about 25min for a large pizza and Cajun tots, and was excited that it was close by our hotel and had great reviews. The pizza looked good upon opening the box but was really missing sauce barely had any sauce on it at all. The tater tots were more like crispy croutons too crunchy for our liking and there was no soft inside of the potato. Definitely wouldn't go back there but we like trying new places.

It was nothing extremely remarkable about the pizza I had. It really resembled what I would get anywhere else. We order mixed pizza of The Wolfpack in a Hawaiian pizza. It tasted fresh, it was full of flavor, but there was nothing that would set it apart from everything else. We ordered some potato skins, which my wife liked. I ordered a blue moon, but it had no garnish. I had to request cutlery because they forgot to put it on my table, unless that's the way things go there. The pizza took about 15 minutes to come out, which seems kind of slow since there was nobody else around. I like looking out the window and admiring UNR frame where I was sitting. I would come back here again. This is a nice place to come, at least while the kids are probably sleeping it off.

Cool, college vibe & excellent beer on tap. The guy at the register, who I assume is the owner, was really cool. Massive slices of pizza. Overall great value for the money and great location next to campus.

Came in to enjoy some food after our group visited the Reno Jazz festival. They were able to accommodate our big group and were very friendly. The kiddos loved the outdoor deck and the food. We had to order more pizzas and they came out very fast. The potato skins were amazing, those are a must if you eat here.

Wow great tasting pizza just had a 10" pepperoni and man was it delicious I don't make it to the university area often but this is a great place for a pie!

I love the college atmosphere; it's perfect for a friendly gathering with beer and wings. My go-to for delivery is their "The Twins Pizza;" it has just the right creaminess if you like white sauce pizza. I also tried the "Uncle Boy" and thought it was decent.

the pizza is still good, but sadly i had a bad experience at my last visit to rick's. the way my pizza was cut looked like they took a piece out of it. i tried to push it together but it still had a hole. any way you swing it, it looks like i did not get a full pizza. their customer service was disappointing as they did not offer any answers or concern. hope that it improves because i did love getting pizza at rick's.

Their pizza is really good! The sauce has a little kick to it (just a little), enough to make it stand out from the rest. The toppings were plentiful. The owner is a nice guy, too. Definitely recommend!

I called Ricks Pizza 45 minutes before close so i didn't inconvenience them with a last minute order. I got placed on a "brief" hold which ended up lasting 20 minutes. After those 20 minutes, they eventually just hung up on me. Good pizza but don't call an order in before close. Appears they'll just waste your time on a "brief" hold instead of taking your order.

Fantastic. Amazing service, owner was extremely friendly,helpful, and kind. The pizza was delicious and the salad was fresh. We had wings too but they went so fast I couldn't get a photo. The place is on the corner and is clean and bright. A definite go to and we will be again when we come for Hot August Nights next year. The whole family enjoyed it.

I ordered through Grub Hub or Uber Eats one Friday night and it took a very long time. I ordered wings (buffalo) and tots. The wings were good. Not the best I've ever had, and they were cold by the time I received them (not sure if they were picked up late, or?) They were meaty (bone-in) and I could only eat a few that night, and had the rest later (after a warm up in the air fryer) I'd like to try Rick's location and see if that makes a difference, because it probably would.

Good ole pizza place, serving no nonsense delicious classic pizza for a reasonable price. The sweetest young woman helped me, her energy was fantastic, she was so kind and genuine, and she really made my experience that much better. I'll be back!

Always great tasting pizza! Crust is 6/10, sauce 7/10 toppings 9/10. Unlimited homemade ranch 10/10. Overall, if you are looking for tasty, cozy delicious pizza, this is a go to!

Oh man where do I start!! Service 12/10 Food 12/10 Ambience 12/10 This is a must get pizza anytime I'm in Reno for life. The crust, cheese, sauce everything was perfect. We got teriyaki and buffalo wings, and when they came out, we were asked if we wanted an additional 6 for free due to the smaller nature of the wings. I gotta say these wings are some of the best I've ever had despite the size. You cannot go wrong here, I guarantee it.

Wowww where has Rick's been all my life?! From the time it opened I assumed it was just another version of the Wolf Den? But I was very wrong: place has some LEGIT food! Also the ambiance is similar to the Wolf Den but it was definitely cleaned up. The service was super fast, which was a surprise because pizza always seems to take forever. My friend and I were starving so we got garlic cheesy bread, 6 bone-in wings and two medium pizzas. And seriously--everything was SO good. Like, my mouth is watering just thinking about it. The flavored of the pizzas were just perfect, the cheesy garlic sticks were cheesy but it wasn't overly thick, and the wings were so tasty. My only regret is that we got two chicken/different sauce pizzas, so I know I'm gonna have to go back to try a traditional red sauce pizza. I really doubt you can go wrong ordering here!

I've been craving Rick's pizza and wings for days!! We finally stopped in and ordered over $100 worth of food to only be disappointed :( We ordered a wolf pizza, a pepperoni pizza, wings (Buffalo & mango habanero) and potato wedges. Unfortunately, not all the food was fresh upon pick up and seemed to have been made earlier, perhaps when the order was placed an hour prior..? The buffalo wings were completely dried and overcooked. The other mango habanero wings were just ok. The only fresh pizza was the pepperoni pizza. We called to let them know, and the manager did not seem to care about the quality of food we received and said nothing could be done. So disappointed but we won't be visiting Rick's again.

We didn't get to try the food because they don't really deliver. If you order for delivery, you are dealing with Grubhub, which I won't do. The pizza looks and sounds good on Yelp, but they advertise delivery.

1st time here and I will be back! My daughter always talks about how great the pizza is here and she is right! We had her favorite pizza, "My Buddy". Excellent choice for a meat pizza: pepperoni, salami, honey smoked ham, Italian sausage, and apple wood smoked bacon. So tasty!! A good amount of cheese, and meats on the pizza. They definitely dont skimp on the toppings. Geez, check my pics. The pizza is loaded and the ham was noticeably thick. The crust is very good with a slight char on it, yummm. I really enjoyed this pizza - so much I overate! Hours later I am still full. Oh well, what are you going to do. I tried their wings even though I didn't expect any miracles. I figured it would be typical restaurant wings, soft, rubbery skin and small sized wings. Well, the wings were actually pretty good size and meaty, but thats it. The skin was soft and rubbery. I like my wings crispy. I even asked if they could run the wings twice through to make them crispy but no luck. I would pass on the wings unless you like the skin soft. The restaurant is clean and the staff was very friendly and attentive. Great place! Definitely a must try restaurant if your in the area of the University of Nevada Reno. Order a pizza and you cant go wrong. Tip: If you check in with Yelp you will get a 10% off coupon to use for your order.

Only did takeaway but they make easy with the order tracker. I got to pick the time to have it ready and it was hot and ready on time. The pizza was delicious. I got the thin crust Wolf Pack with lite sauce. The ingredients were top notch, very good. They also give you as much homemade Ranch as you need. I will definitely be doing this again.

Do a Yelp check-in! Met David, the friendly owner of this pizza-sandwich-beer joint. Great set of local beers in tap, bottles available, too. A cider, too. Their salad was an ice cold fresh mix of veggies and exceptional dressings. Forgot how a mixed salad could be so crisp! Now to the crispy crust, ooey-gooey cheese and great ingredients on top of my bbq chix pizza(Ricks). Everything served nice and hot. Ingredients remained on the base crust through each happy and cheese stringy bite! In and outdoor seating. Small parking lot available.

Thought we were going to R's pizza and kinda wish we did instead. Service wasn't great and neither was the pizza. They ran out of pineapple when we ordered the Hawaiian and got something else recommended that had bacon pepperoni and ham which was ok but similar to the other pizza we ordered. Never thought I'd say I was sick of pizza after that but I don't think I can eat pizza again for a loooong time. Next time going to Rs pizza instead like I had intended. Sorry David for the review and I didn't know how to answer your questions other then update my review but we were there on Saturday 9/9 before closing around 9 pm. Another thing was the kid started spraying the tables as we were sitting at them and sprayed me all over my face and dress. I didn't know if I got bleach on me and my clothes but luckily it ended up being ok and my eyes didn't burn. I was like SERIOUSLY KID??!! It was my bday too and not a happy bday dinner to say the least.

On Sunday I ordered for delivery to my hotel. I ordered siracha bbq chicken wings and a salad. The delivery was much faster than the app indicated. Those chicken wings were super delicious. The salad was huge. My only complaint is that I asked for basalmic vinaigrette and I received something totally different that I wasn't sure if it was ranch or Caesar. I also requested extra napkins because of the wings and they did not disappoint. By the way the salad was delicious.

So I'm such a rather huge pizza buff, along with Mexican, and definitely Sushi! Literally it's a rare event that I'm not in the mood for pizza, just don't tire of it! Pizza! Pizza! Pizza! Get in my tummy! LoL! My family and I have been trying to venture out of our comfort zones a bit more , and wanted to give Rick's Pizza, Beer & More a solid try, after all they have fairly excellent reviews, so heck...why not?! I've gotta rate it at a 7.5, and not because it's not extremely tasty, because after all it tis' sadly however not one of us could taste the sauce! It just wasn't really there...or anywhere for that matter. For myself especially I need to be able to immerse my taste buds in most dressings specifically pizza pie, otherwise I'd just be consuming essentially a grilled cheese with some toppings! The ratio of cheese, toppings and most certainly sauce has to stand out, and be on point, if it doesn't, (I'll admit) at times I'm immediately disappointed. Not always though, trying to apply fairness, pending the situation is generally the name of the game! And since life isn't always fair, gotta make it count! Nevertheless their pie is loaded with cheese, plus toppings and for that I was thoroughly impressed. Perhaps the pizza handler in the back was having an off night? Who knows! My son picked our dinner up so unfortunately I cannot speak to what the inside of the establishment looked like. Moving forward we ordered 3 of their specialty pizzas, one 16 inch and two 14 inchers. Two of them, one being 16 inches, the other 14, go by the name "My Favorite" loaded with pepperoni, olives and mushrooms, a staple for us indeed! Last and certainly not least the 14 inch pie known as "Triple R", now I MUST say it is genuinely one heck of a pizza!!! Completely rocked my taste buds and truly stood out! Could not resist it while eating, kinda wished we'd additionally tried one of the bbq crostatas as well, next time we will, w/o a doubt! Even though there wasn't quite enough sauce, it certainly still very much passed the test, undeniably delicious! The crust overall wasn't my favorite, just a touch too thick; I'm a bit of a snob when it comes to the border of my pie. In my opinion it should have a certain thinness to it that doesn't just hold the pizza together, but faithfully adds to its comprehensive delectability, as well as integrity. Overall had the sauce been more defined, a full 5 stars would've been in order. In the near future we'll indefinitely re-try Rick's Pizza, Beer, & More distinctly since I'm fully on board with second chances. They tend to make all the difference in situations of dissatisfaction.

I don't have a picture of the pizza but it's legit. Our dept has got it a bunch of times when we are working events and Rick's hits the spot every time. It's a gut bomb, but damn it's good. There's a chicken bbq one that's my favorite. The slices are big and topping heavy. I'm kind of craving it just talking about it...

This pizza places needs more than 5 stars!!! My favorite pizza place!! Sooo good my family is obsessed our go to every time!!!! There quick and have great customer service very polite don't miss out check them out!

I give this a 3 star because.....it wasn't terrible. They said the pizza would be ready in 20 minutes and I was 7 minutes away. Pizza was already boxed are ready to go when I got there. Staff was friendly. Pizza looked good but very little flavor and the crust was doughy.

I actually gave Ricks a 5 star review on Google. Boy did I make a mistake here. I will first say their pizza is still good but their customer service took a dump. I ordered their pack pepperoni pizza and my wife went to pick it up. What we got was a regular pepperoni. Now I will say I am very ok mistakes and would even be willing to accept just a basic apology. But when I called I was told that that they were out of that pizza (which makes no sense). Then when I asked why they didn't inform my wife and that they still charged us for the pizza, he said well it's only $3 difference. Now I know it's not a lot of money but to make me feel like I was in the wrong is bullshit. So make sure you check your pizza before you leave Ricks cause they don't care about taking "only $3 from you." Without apologizing for the mistake as well. So the owner contacted me immediately and made it right. Pizza is still great and you have to appreciate an owner who cares enough about their business to make things right.

Ordered pizza to be delivered. Was told 35 to 40 minutes. About an hour later they called and told me delivery guy got into an accident. Said they made a fresh pizza and new driver was on the way. Should be 10 more minutes. About 30 minutes later pizza showed up but was very cold. Pretty sad!

So I'm pretty picky with pizza... decided to try this place. First off, I ordered online, then headed over. Outside was packed... when I say packed, I mean it was like the line to a rave, and the inside was packed like a tin of sardines. So with my 7 year old in hand, fresh out of a 14 hour day at work, I headed up to the door. "Are you all waiting to order?" "Yea man it's free pizza day for those who voted..." What a day to order takeout...... We pushed through with some easy "excuse me, checking on a mobile order," and we were able to check with the ONE WAITRESS that was working. She was extremely friendly, and doing a damn good job managing all the tables in the restaurant. Our order wasn't ready with all the chaos that was ensuing inside... cool, so we waited. We did have a pretty extended wait, but it was only like 20 minutes past what the online estimate was. I'm pretty patient, but I was a little irritated with the chaos. I took the pizza with a smile when it finally came out, grabbed my ranch and headed home. The pizza itself was fantastic, dare I say the best pizza in Reno... I will now 100% come back again. Even with the crazy rush, the pizza was perfect, even a custom order, wings were tasty, and everything was hot. Damn good job, see you soon, hopefully not when you are throwing free pizzas to the... well... the wolves.... Get it?

The pizza here is to DIE FOR! So worth the price. We came in when it was slow and quiet and the pizza was just delicious:) The glass for the beer also came chilled already which was just icing on the cake. Amazing!

Rick's was a pretty good place. Their pizza's are good if you like cheesy. They are great if you like beer and not too expensive but with options. The guy was really nice and pretty quick. He seemed to be running the place alone. The pizza was yummy and so were the appetizers. It was not super awesome but it was a good affordable option.

I wasn't sure what to expect when I came here and I was happy to find some tasty pizza. Rick's Pizza is a pizza joint with a small bar area. They have TVs on like any other sports bar. I ordered a large pepperoni, mushroom, and sausage. The pizza was gooey and cheesy. I wouldn't say it was New York-style or Chicago-style pizza. Rick's pizza is more like the Ninja Turtle Pizza that is extra cheesy. Really good! I didn't get a chance to try out any of the other things they offer but this is a decent pizza spot. Check it out if ya can.

"Of all the gin joints in all the towns in all the world, she walks into mine!" Every time I drive by this restaurant I think of one of my fav movies and also think "I need to go there!" Looking for pizza delivery tonight I finally selected this restaurant and so glad I did because everything was delicious! We ordered garlic knots, buffalo bone in wings and pepperoni, olive and mushroom pizza. The garlic knots are so good-if you eat here (and you should!) you need to order them! Soft, pillowy mounds with Just the right amount of garlic flavor. The buffalo wings were also very good (they have other flavors) and not too spicy (which my husband loved). The pizza was delicious with a medium crust, nice amount of toppings and flavorful sauce. I can't wait to visit the restaurant and have a beer or glass of wine to go with dinner. One of my new favorite pizza spots.

Stopped in for lunch while out on excursions in Tahoe and Reno. There was only one person in the restaurant when we arrived which concerned us at first, but then realized the restaurant is located on the college campus and college is currently out. Our order was actually taken by the owner Dave who we ended up chatting with the whole meal. So we ended up with a double bonus...great food and great conversation. We started off with the bbq wings followed by your basic pepperoni pizza. I must say, the wings were some of the best I've had in a LONG time. They come in counts of 6 or 10 and I definitely recommend the 10. These wings had a crunch with every bite and were sauced perfectly. The sauce itself had a sweet tangy taste that wasn't overbearing and the amount of sauce used wasn't overly done to where they were messy. The pizza was equally as good. The crust is a fluffy crust that isn't too thick and definitely not thin. We opted just for pepperoni and cheese and both toppings were plentiful. Each bite had a full mouth of cheese followed with some flavorful pepperoni. Definitely recommend Rick's and we will most certainly be back when we come to town.
