While visiting Pawn Stars, we got hungry, and one of the staff said they had good BBQ next spot. It's owned by Rick, from PS as well. As we were walking over, we saw some people coming down the stairs. we asked how it was, and they couldn't rave about it enough it. They recommended the Hawaiian sliders and to talk to Megan. It's a great dive type bar. Square with a bar and Megan in the middle with a few tables around. They also have a little patio overlooking the street. It's a bare bone establishment, no frills. Menu is just some printed papers on a clipboard with bbq stains. This is all part of the charm, though. We did get an order of the sliders and nachos, with shredded cheese. You order at the bar, and then they will bring it to ya when ready. My wife got a local beer as well, that she said was really good. The place is really likely and seems to be more locals than visitors. Lots of hooting, laughing, and talking across the bar. Megan was the star of most of it. The food was good. We didn't get enough to really give the BBQ a try. but, what we got was tasty. They even have a number of sauces at the bar. You can get samples to try. Good country music is playing the whole time there. If you want intimate and quiet, this is probably not the place for you. If you're looking for some good food and a good time, this is a good apot.
