"There’s almost always a line at Rico Pan Bakery in Woodside, but we’d gladly wait in it even if it were twice as long. This cash-only, counter-service spot makes a variety of excellent, affordably priced sweet and savory baked goods (get at least one beef empanada, and a buñuelo with a crust as crisp as funnel cake), as well as very good coffee and chicharrón. Do not leave without pocketing a few servings of their herby, homemade hot sauce. Stop here to stock up on treats before heading to a friend’s apartment and you will be in their good graces forever." - molly fitzpatrick, bryan kim

Google
This place is a must-visit. There are so many options and they are so economical. Walk in, grab a tray and tongs, and go crazy with the many options on offer. We got an assortment of cakes, cookies and pastries that brightened up our Sunday morning. The staff were super friendly and there were cool Mexican beats in the background! Highly recommend!

This was the only place that showed up in South O when I Google'd "Bakery". Convenient parking right in-front of the store. The inside was well-lit and it of course had that really nice "fresh bread/pastries" smell. Nice selection of mostly breads but also had some nice options for pastries. Really nice prices. I would definitely come back.

I like the staff because they are very nice. I attempted to make an online purchase but was unable to finish the process. Then I actually went to the store. Inform them that I attempted to place an online order. The owner refused to give me the web price even after I confirmed the price. Please refrain from promoting a new "order online" option without disclosing that the price is different. The owner's refusal to recognise the internet price infuriated the owner's coworkers as well.

I love Mexican bakeries! I especially love the Piedras!! The people who were working there were also very friendly and gracious. I would definitely recommend them and when I'm in the area I will go back!

Google
0 Stars. Terrible phone/customer service I do not recommend this place unless you want to be treated with a terrible attitude and disrespectful Spanish remarks !! when you asking what types of empanadas they have and then getting hung up on even though you weren’t even done, you were actually trying to order. Y’all need to watch your mouth ladies we living in a crazy world today.

Yelp
This a typical panadería Latina. You can find most of the pastries and breads that you would found in a Latin country. I have to say is not the best one that I have had but is one of the few options in Omaha. It is a serve yourself place and they do not have a lot of staff working there. Clean and Yummy place to get pan

Yelp
Great place for inexpensive bakery items, with a lot of Mexican baked goods that I have never tried! Everything is much more dry and crumbly than in baked goods that I am used to having (but not in a bad way...more like corn bread consistency). If you are as unfamiliar as am I, definitely ask the baker and she will walk you through everything. Customer service was excellent. It seems more of a place for a quick snack, or pick up a few sweet treats, or even bread rolls. The cakes weren't overwhelmingly beautiful (but maybe they taste great?), and there was no bread loafs, just single rolls. Definitely will visit again!

Yelp
I'd heard really good things about Rico Pan and have followed their facebook page for a while now and was excited to make it over to South O to give them a try. And, it was fine. The selection is adequate and they have the staples you would look for at a panaderia. I will admit that we went late in the evening, some time around 8 pm, but I found much of the selection to be somewhat stale. If you know anything about items you'll get at a panaderia, you know they don't hold up for more than a day or two. They are meant to be eaten right away! But, these seemed like they'd been there a day or two. So, that was disappointing. It may have just been a bad day but there are other panaderias around town that I consistently get fresh baked goods. I might give Rico Pan another try and I wouldn't discourage you from trying it. But, it won't be my first stop in the future.

Yelp
What a little hidden gem off the highway. This place isn't extremely impressive in looks but the selection of bread and treats is incredible. You can walk in this place with three dollars and be fed for a week. We tried a huge variety of breads and loved each one.

Yelp
Grab a tray and some tongs... and then load up on some pastries... fresh daily at a great price!

Yelp
This place is small, but the costumer service is excellent. We went to buy a cake a she was very helpful asking us what we needed and giving us suggestions to better our order. I gave this place 2 stars because when we got our cake is was not what we ordered. The place has potential to be better. Looking forward to see what they do next.
