Awesome experience buying my boy a bike today. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and they have their bike mechanic check and adjust everything on the bike when you buy it. Super clean and professional shop. Update: I just bought another bike from Ride On Bikes. Once again, awesome customer service. Makaya (hopefully I spelled that right) was amazing through the entire process, and the owner, Jason, is also awesome. He even bought me a beer next door while they were finishing up a service on my wife’s bike. I can’t recommend these guys enough.

Amazing customer service, very helpful and personable. It was my first time buying an “expensive” commuter bike and Jason was very knowledgeable and helpful. Definitely recommend!

I can’t say enough good things about Ride On Bikes. Jason, Shon, and the rest of the crew treat you like family whenever you’re there. We’ve brought home four bikes from Ride On and every experience has been great. I will probably be back soon for something that will help me keep up with my son’s new Sirrus X 2.0.

We recently rented a bike from Ride on Bikes. We were participating in Bo Bikes Bama in Auburn. We were traveling from Orlando, Florida and had a very difficult time finding a place to rent a bike from. Leanne was my contact at the store. She provided excellent customer service from day one when I called a few months in advance to the day we met her and picked up the bike. Super impressed with this bike shop and the care provided to their customers. Thanks so much! 5 stars for sure!

Excellent customer service and quick repair. I rented bikes from a different company and I broke down on the riverwalk path. I walked the bicycle 1.5 miles to your store and every one was extremely helpful. They were able to get my rented bike into the shop and had it repaired before I was finished eating lunch. Jason also showed me that the stem was loose too. Hindsight I wish I had rented the bicycles from you to begin with. I do know that the next time I rent it will be from you guys. Thanks again for getting me fixed up and back on the trail!

We rented bikes for an afternoon ride along the Riverwalk cycling path. Bikes were perfect, staff adjusted them for us & loaned us helmets & a lock. The rental rate was fair & competitive with other shops in town. Call these people first if you're looking to rent!

As always, I enjoyed my ride. The rental and return process was very easy...no long forms/waivers or checkouts. I had plenty of time to enjoy my ride, making a few stops along the way.

Hands-down, the BEST bike shop in the world (and Columbus Ga)!! I've purchased numerous bikes at Ride On over the years. Jason & his amazing team are the only ones I trust with my cycling needs. Not only are they amazing at what they do, they are great people and do so much for our community.

This is a great local bike shop that is very active in the community, giving back through numerous social events that strive to keep citizens active and healthy. The quality and selection of the bikes is just a bonus!

Bad experience. Spoke to a Makiya who was very rude about returning the bicycle that my Soldier paid a ridiculous amount for. Even after explaining the situation; her customer service attitude was not acceptable. Did not notify the customer of the depreciated value of the bicycle with the return policy. Customer received not even half of the refund for the total price he paid. Complete rip off.

Great bike shop to rent from! Easy to get in and get out, nice helpful people make sure you've picked the right bike for your size/height, and make sure the height is right. Great tips for the local area. Wonderful pet dogs in the shop which were very docile and sweet. Also not far from the bikeway on the river walk. Oh

Staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly, which builds trust and too often is not seen with customer service. I rented a road bike and was extremely pleased with the pricing and performance of the bicycle.

I purchased a Specialized Sport Pitch Bike along with a few accessories for it not long ago and this bike shop gives out amazing service and has very friendly staff. Also has dogs everywhere and that's also a plus!

here it is the first Wednesday of December and I decided to phone a bike shop for random information on tandem bikes for "oldsters". I never expected to get the 10 star customer service on a phone call, but from the moment that Kim answered the phone, I felt like the Queen of Colum bus. She looked online in extremely fast action, and had a price quote quicker than I cold take a second sip of tea! These folks also rent bikes in UPTOWN Colum bus for $10.00 per day and also have some amazing rides to try at a it higher fee. I am so pleased to write this review. They closed at 6. I arrived at 6:02, broken seat in hand and plans to ride in the morning. I love small businesses and try hard to support my local bike shop. Jason and his team haven't let me down yet and at 6:30 I walked out with my new saddle (fitted by a computer thing!) and plans to sell a kidney so I could buy my next new bike. Well until the operation I'm sure they'll keep me outfitted with all the replacement parts I'll need to stay on the trail!

Looking to rent a bike in Columbus? Don't go anywhere else. First time visitor to Columbus and I found this shop in the heart of the downtown district. Staff was eager to help with my rental, listened closely to my needs, offered directions and even gave me a recommendation for a restaurant. Unlike many bike rentals I've used over the years, the bike I got was quality product at a very reasonable price. Give this place a try.

If you are passing through or get stationed at fort benning or a resident in the area go here to not only buy your bike regardless or knowledge these guys are an outstanding team that are dedicated to your experience and choices in what bike is right for you. Not only do they help and ask questions narrowing down your decisions to the perfect bike but they take it much further, they offer a complimentary tuning one time and a year of service. They also take the time to inform you about where to ride locally and they have community rides which they offer everyone to come to and participate. These people care about your well being as a customer and they want to earn your business not just sell you a bike and that's where the relationship ends. I could go on and on about this shop for I have purchased two bikes from there and both of them were fitted to me and tweaked as I gave them feedback after every ride. They want to hear from you if your sore and achy that's normal for a first time rider but if your going numb and getting blisters they told me to bring it back in and they would make adjustments immediately for my comfort. To the ride on bike team I seriously thank your for the amount of effort you put into a community regardless of any circumstances even during a pandemic. If you are going to buy a bike buy it from ride on.

Jason, I can't give this man enough praise. He is the vivid example of GREAT and exemplary customer service. I won't take merit away from any of the employees because they are ALL super nice and happy to help, but Jason just goes above and beyond. Although he is a salesman, he is very amicable and is not in your face trying to sale you high ticketed items nor things you don't need. He helps you find what you need at a price range within your budget. The whole ambiance is so lively and the shop is full of good vibes from the moment you step in. Definitely recommend and I'm glad is a local shop...I feel proud of having these kind of people in my town; Southern hospitality at its finest! GREATLY recommended!!!

Very nice shop. Helpful staff. I was in from Augusta and wanted to get info on good trails so I could bring my bike with me on my next trip. They have me 3 or 4 trails and a couple good road routes to try. Their prices seemed on par with my local shops here in Augusta. It's nice to know a quality shop is available, if your in from out of town or just new to Columbus stop in you won't be disapointed.

I wanted a new bike but I had a bike. I took my bike in for a tune up, of course, checked out new bikes. What I ended up with is my old bike looking and running great and a new bike sized to fit me perfectly. Now I have a mountain ride and a asphalt ride. I am pleased with the customer service and the knowledgeable staff. This place is a local gem. Rent bikes, buy a bike, get your bike serviced- whatever you need the team here will take care of you.

I bought my Specialized from here and I have been impressed by their service, accessory / parts selection and store layout / cleanliness. They're my favorite bike shop in town! They deal in Specialized and Trek bikes.

This was the only bike rental in Columbus and it was all we needed. We went to the shop Sunday and although it was supposed to be closed, the owner was doing some renovation to the shop and allowed us to rent for the day. We got two three gear bikes and helmets for around $25. The bikes looked brand new and the owner was friendly. We used the bikes around town and on the Riverwalk.

My wife and I bought bikes there today. The professionalism they have is remarkable. We are so pleased with the service. The knowledge they had was phenomenal! We both had bikes long time ago from Walmart and our bike riding experience was horrible. These people took the time to size us and to teach why the bikes are designed the way they are. My wife told me "that was best bike riding experience I have ever had on a bike"! We will be buying and hanging out there more often. The shorts were a little pricey, but so worth it. Our bottoms are saved from the shorts. Highly recommend buying shorts when you get your bike. Ride on bikes is the perfect spot in town. Plus you can instantly go riding with your new bike, because it's right next to the river walk.

Glad to have a juice bar downtown. The juices and smoothies are delicious!!! Unfortunately, not all of us downtown are loaded (financially, anyway) so this will have to be an occasional treat :( I would give this 5 stars if it were reasonably priced, maybe with more traffic they will offer some more affordable options for daily consumption.

Excellent bike shop! I rented a brand new Specialized road bike for a week. They installed my pedals and saddle without an up-charge. The bike worked flawlessly. Thank you to Bruce and his staff.

Today I purchased my third and forth bikes from this shop and I'm so overly satisfied by all of the informative employees and the amazing deal they gave me! I frequent the shop and have purchased many accessories from them. I love the new smoothie shop they have added and I often end up there after my rides on the riverwalk. Best bike store ever. Not making that up, ride on by and see for yourself. Join them on a group ride, take one for a spin around the block. Don't be surprised when you fall in love with a bike they recommend to you.

Very knowledgeable and helpful staff. Happy to purchase local and have a warranty with my bike. They are quite expensive and not willing to negotiate. But the quality of the bikes is very good.

We rented 11 cruisers to view the historic area and trails! Brand new bikes, excellent service, great prices, free spring waters! Wish we had a bike shop as attentive and well stocked in Seattle! Would definitely purchase bikes and attire from here if I were local!

Just bought my first TT bike here, and could not be happier. The crew at Ride On takes great pains to make your biking experience great. Their customer service exceeds expectations every time you walk in.

Do not trade in your bike at this shop. They're great and very friendly when selling you a new bike, but do not go back 3-6 months later expecting to get a fair price on your trade. They tried to give me $700 for a like new $1700 bike that I purchased from them 3 months prior.

The best bike shop I have ever been to with a staff who help you out with anything from bike rentals to new bike fitment. Best mechanics in town who are actually certified. The only shop for me.

Best bike shop I have been around. They have a great vibe, good selection and the best bike mechanic in the region. They stand behind what they sell (had a cracked frame they got replaced) and are always super helpful. I have bought about 5 bikes from them and will continue to shop there in the future

Very friendly, helpful, staff. Moderate prices for a local shop. Evening group rides are great, and good community involvement. I have consistently maintained my bikes for 10+ years, including truing wheels, moved here without my tools so I had them true a pair of wheels, took a week and came back okay, not near perfect tho. The true didn't last more than a month or two. Should have done it myself, wheels are completely off balance now. Would have been cheaper and more reliable to buy the tool and do it without a stand. There may be better places out there, that get less business and are willing to spend the right amount of time and energy working on your bike

Good shop good service and a friendly staff. I recommend this shop, I've bought 2 bikes from them and have not had a problem. Go there and pet the owner's old dog.

This thank you is kind of late. Last Summer I had a very strange and annoying clicking noise while riding my Specialized. I had been to several bike shops to no prevail. I took my precious bike into Ride On, Byron and Jason would NOT give up until the clicking was gone! They went through great pains to find the source and I have since ridden many miles and the clicking has not returned! THANK YOU GUYS YOUR THE BEST Susan Pavek

best bike shop in Columbus. only open from 10-6 mon-sat, like most other places downtown, but they have a good selection for being as small as they are, and the staff know what they're talking about. Had my bike fixed there more than once, and they were fast, and when I buy the occasional accessory they'll even put it on for you right there in the shop. Wish they would carry cannondale stuff, but what they have is great. Highly recommend.

Was in Columbus visiting recently and for fun we rented bikes from here and rode on the riverfront trail. The bikes were all tuned and in top shape the staff was very helpful and the whole process was just plain EASY, CHEAP and FUN! Highly recommend this place plus you can visit neighboring restaurants and shops for a full day of fun here!

Ride On Bikes is a great place to get a bike. I bought a new Trek 3500 mountain bike from them and any problem I have had since I got it they have fixed it for me. There staff is great, I highly suggest them to others.

I travel a lot and you dont know how good you have it till you come home. Ride On Bikes is by far the best around, the choice's they offer, the service is top notch and they do a lot for the local riding community. The Columbus area is lucky to have a shop right in our own back yard at this level.
