The Best Boozy Slushies In Seattle

"The best place to be in Phinney Ridge on a summer weeknight is Ridgewood Bottle & Tap, and that’s in huge part because of their boozy slushies. Since they don’t serve any liquor, every frozen drink involves wine, beer, or cider—think not-too-sweet flavors like sake margarita, lemonade gose, or sour ale creamsicle. And if you need somewhere to haul your laptop on a Friday afternoon, WiFi is as abundant as frozen prosecco topped with gummy bears." - gabe guarente, aimee rizzo, kayla sager riley

Ridgewood Bottle & Tap - Review - Phinney Ridge - Seattle - The Infatuation

"The best place to be in Phinney Ridge on a summer weeknight is Ridgewood Bottle & Tap. There’s a huge indoor-outdoor setup, a ton of beer available both on draught and in cans, and five different slushies to choose from in not-too-sweet flavors like sake margarita or sour ale creamsicle. The proximity to Red Mill next door is key for a good time here—grab a cheeseburger and a sack of onion rings to bring back to your patio spot. And if you need somewhere to haul your laptop on a Friday afternoon, WiFi is as abundant as frozen prosecco topped with gummy bears." - Aimee Rizzo

Google
So first of all I would like to say if you grab a burger and fries from next door at Red Mill you are allowed to come inside here while you enjoy their enormous selection of cold beverages. Not only are they extremely helpful and knowledgeable but you have a huge selection. A very clean and inviting spot with an amazing view outside where the front is even open a nice day. Plenty of places to sit. Parking is a little tight so I tried to avoid right at lunch time.

Google
I’ve been a regular at Ridgewood ever since they opened in the Phinney neighborhood. Their slushie drinks are my absolute favorite, especially with the delightful gummy treat on top! They also offer a decent selection of beers on tap, making it a great spot for beer enthusiasts. Plus, it’s a dog-friendly place, which is a huge bonus. The staff is always friendly and welcoming every time I visit.

Google
Nice place! Good selection of beers, boozy slushies, and decent wines. Probably wouldn't make it a point to go back anytime soon but it was a good place.

Magan Katnis

Google
There is no food but “bring your own” encouraged. There’s a Mexican place across the street and another restaurant next door. Drinks were good. Board games Available and outdoor seating. Dogs allowed.

Chelsie Noel

Google
Food trucks are hit or miss, drink selection was great (for beer lovers and beyond). Different seating options: high tops, benches, booths, outdoor, or indoor. Dog and kid friendly.

Google
Amazing Service and great selection. Love that I can grab some burgers next door and bring them over to eat with my beer.

Mohit Ayani

Google
They had good selection of beers, kid friendly. Slightly overpriced though

Really like this spot! It can be difficult to find parking and it's gotten incredibly busy but if you can walk or bike you're in luck. There is a small shared lot but it's normally full and neighborhood parking is tough. They are next door (and share a bathroom) with Red Mill Burgers but feel free to bring in any food you want; there are several other options a block or two away. There's a nice outdoor patio out front as well. There's a load of can/bottle options for your mix & match packs to take home (or enjoy in-house for a "corkage" fee.) The taplist is always gold and you'll be able to find something special and local. The quality does come with somewhat high prices. You can also order online for a quick pick-up as well which is great. Lastly, they are all ages which is nice for parents but if you don't mix kids with your drinks you're best to look elsewhere.

Yelp
Great service! Cookie was attentive and the best server we could ask for. Recommendations were on point! Beers and ciders were delicious. Thanks again, Cookie!

Yelp
Great, chill place to grab a beer or a drink that's dog friendly! They've got plenty of TVs but seating is limited. There's quite a wide variety of beers on tap plus slushies like Frose and Prosecco available. Red Mill burgers is just next door which is convenient if you want a burger and fries with your beer!

Yelp
After being so impressed with Phinney Station, I knew I needed to make my way over to their sister company, Ridgewood Bottle & Tap! We decided to go on a Sunday to have a beer and watch the Seahawks game. (They've got several TVs playing the game, with sound on.) Upon walking in I loved the vibe. Lots of great seating options whether you have a few people, or a group. They have a great selection of good beers. (No crap on tap here!) Some of my faves represented; Ravenna, Cloudburst, Great Notion! If the tap list doesn't have something that strikes your fancy, there are lots of cans available in the coolers! (They do charge an additional $2 for anything selected from the coolers). They also offer slushies (alcoholic, and NON alcoholic). After a few pints we decided to close out. I took a look at the can selection. Happy to see that they had just gotten a new drop of Structures beers!! Couldn't pass that up!! Grabbed (3) 4pks of Fuzz & Frost! We really enjoyed our time here watching the game! It is definitely a great little neighborhood spot! I will definitely be back!!

Yelp
Good vibe! We came for drinks on a Saturday evening. The vibe was low key. We didn't hand to wait for a table. Loved the feel of the Winter Margarita. It was topped with cranberry and rosemary. 2 easily disappeared. Our family lives close and recommend this taproom. It did not disappoint.

Yelp
We are regulars for their fresh beer, good wine pours, and close proximity to the PNA and local events. It's a small place, so plan accordingly, but during the nice season, there's standing room outdoors.
google avatar

Yelp
I wasn't expecting to find this nice establishment until I got a burger at Red Mill. They have a long list on tap from brewers all over the PNW. I got a Nitro ale and it was quite good. They played soccer on the TV and it was a nice open space to chill. They were nice enough to let me eat my burger from next door too.

Yelp
This spot was POPPIN on a Friday evening. Lots of drinks on tap as well as beer fridge with lots and lots of drinks. The cherry pie slushy ($11) was very sweet (low in alcohol), giant, and refreshing. Loved the whipped cream and graham cracker on top. I also picked up a THAI COCONUT JELLY FILLED DONUT sour beer. Like what?! I couldn't not. Pricey though. Dog friendly so got to peep lots of adorable pups.

Yelp
What a cool spot to grab something to drink. My spouse got food next door at Red Mill and I came here to grab a beer. I ordered the Cloudburst Party Emojis and it was light and crispy. It's a perfect 5% beer to start the day and watch a little bit of the game. It is a very chill spot to enjoy some food and drinks. This spot stays open pretty late considering others in Phinney Ridge. It was walking distance from my family's and was nice and clean. There are plenty of options to choose from whether you like beer, wine, or frose.

Yelp
Favorite place to grab a beer ! Great selections, awesome service, and a fun ambiance with several games to choose from to play while you indulge. Definitely going to be my go-to spot.

Yelp
Looking for a great taproom in Seattle? Then head over to Ridgewood Bottle and Tap near Phinney Ridge & Greenwood. They have a great outdoor patio to enjoy a cold beer under the sun. Their taproom inside is comfortable and inviting. Great beers, great service, excellent vibe! Tip: Order a burger at Red Mill Burgers next door and bring it over to the taproom. Bringing your own food is encouraged! Cheers!

Yelp
Great location, super chill and lax ambiance, service is good, and nice variety of beer and cider. They also have slushees and wine as well. They have a cooler full of single beers to buy for take home. I noticed that many of them were on tap. It's family friendly so you can bring your kids. Ridgewood is located right next to Red mill burgers. I noticed that most people there would order their food and have a beer while waiting. I prefer IPA's and beer that have very fruity after taste. I ended up going with an IPA and my boyfriend got a flight. The flight consisted of mainly IPA with one pale ale. All the beers we got were refreshing and more on the lighter side. The great notion over ripe was more hoppy and tasted very piney. I really liked my 16 oz pour of stout mother of exiles.

Yelp
Stopped in last night for a beverage. We had a couple sours and play some cards as a night cap to a great dinner. Location is a bit meh but it's open till 11pm which is late for a neighborhood spot these days, the service was prompt and helpful. Big huge selection of weirdo beers b such you can't find most places, as a liquor guy i couldn't care less but if you like beer this is your jam spot. all in all would go again
google avatar

Yelp
Love the selection and the frose is perfect for these Summer days. Dog friendly is a plus!
google avatar

Venecia R.

Yelp
Stopped in to meet some friends here. It's def a cozy brewery and would be v cute to come here in the summer but we had no issue finding a table on a Saturday afternoon. They had a huge selection on draft and even more in their fridge. I'm a sucker for an alcoholic slush beverage so I tried their sake (coconut peach?) slush and omg... I could've easily downed two of these. So delish! I can't wait to come back in the summer and try more.

Yelp
Ridgewood is awesome! During quarantine, I ordered beers from them (via online site) - super easy! Just show up and your beers are there ready for you to pick up! Love the variety of beers that they have (including some fruit/sours) and that they're lesser known breweries located in other parts of the country, so there's no way I would have discovered them otherwise! You can also consume your beer onsite and there are many to choose from. They recently opened up the inside - outside seating is available too. Sometimes they have food trucks (Tip: follow them on IG for the most current updates on the boozy slushy flavors and other happenings, etc.) They also have boozy slushies which rotate flavors but they generally have one that is a sour beer one, one cider one, and then a rose one (I think). I almost always get the sour beer ones --really unique flavor combinations (e.g. Blueberry cheesecake) - super refreshing especially in the hot weather!

Yelp
A quaint little brewery on the curve of the street. Normally, I would've ordered a flight & sampled the beer. But too cold & rainy today! I saw a sign that said Mulled Wine so I stopped. Still not allowed to sit inside but they had outdoor seating available. They do provide heaters outside but it's still cold for me. However I did sit and drink my Mulled wine outside & it warmed me up perfectly. Before I left, I ordered the other hot drink special, Buttered Sake. It was also delicious! Will definitely be back in the Spring or Summer to try the beer!

Yelp
I am always always looking for a new spot to chat it up with friends and I am so happy my friend suggested this place! They have a great selection of beer but I especially lovee their Frose! There's a decent amount of tables to sit at outdoors but more standing room! It's all first come first serve though. I would wish they disclosed that buying the Frose also meant purchasing their jar with it, and apparently you can return the jar to get $2 back. I didnt know this until my friend let me know, but other than that it's a lovely place
google avatar

Maylee W.

Yelp
Very happy I found Ridgewood- my friend lives a block away and so very convenient to walk and have a refresher in the afternoon! We brought our own signature Ridgewood mason jars to try out the slushees - frose and Prosecco- both were refreshing. I drank most of it and didn't really feel a buzz but overall enjoyed my froses! Next visit I'll have a seat outside and enjoy the ambiance.
google avatar

Jennifer T.

Yelp
Came here in a Saturday afternoon and each table was filled. The service was quick and friendly. I loved how unique the menu was. We got a Frose and although it was sweet it was so refreshing. They even gave you the option to add boba to your frose. They did not rush us despite us sitting there for quite some time in the outdoor seating area. This is a dog friendly place in a cute neighborhood with burgers from Red Mill readily available.
google avatar

Yelp
My company was hosting a corporate event and we asked Ridgewood Bottle & Tap to come serve their famous Froze and it WAS A HIT! When I say we could have had it all night log (instead of there one hour we hired them for) it's the truth! Our guests loved the froze and Robin and Robin were absolutely amazing to work with! They came and saw the space ahead of time, walked through the timeline with us, and arrived 2 hours early to make sure they were set up and ready to go by the time we allotted; I HIGHLY recommend them for your next special event! Your guests will be WOWED and sneak a couple away for you and the team in the freezer ;) Thank you again Ridgewood Bottle & Tap!

Yelp
Cutest place, inside and out! OK OK I'll share more details about what I mean by that. Inside: workers were phenomenal - so nice, so patient, so helpful. They have a wide selection of canned beers to buy if you're on the go, and lots of great options on tap as well. I actually ordered one of the slushees (Prosecco), and it's nice to have one other option for non beer drinkers. It's also connected to Redmill burgers, so this is a great option for eats since they encourage outside food if you're hungry. Outside: looks so cute, lots of outside seating. One problem is parking (but this is typical for seattle breweries). I was able to find parking a couple of streets down and walk.
google avatar

Nisi N.

Yelp
Omg the best place I have been to in a while! We were driving around and looking for a drink this has so so many selections and warm cozy and nice people I'll be coming back wish we lived near here lol

T M.

Yelp
Good spot for drinks with friends or a date. The staff was very friendly and gave good recommendations to try. There's a burger place next door and Mexican food across the street so it's super easy to grab some food and keep the night going. Not much else to say, it's a solid spot.

Yelp
I was a little hesitant to write this review since Ridgewood is the best kept secret in town! We had a friend come to visit this past weekend during the worst Seattle heatwave since 1945 (106 degrees outside!). On Saturday, we somehow dragged ourselves to the zoo to show her a "good" time. After seeing barely any animals due to the heat, and feeling fairly delirious ourselves, we searched for a nearby bar with prayers for AC. This is how we stumbled upon Ridgewood. For the next two days, myself and my 2 friends holed up at Ridgewood enjoying the AC while getting a nice afternoon buzz from the variety of slushees offered. After sampling all 4 of their options, the frosé and the sour were our favorites. The bartender (Alex I believe?) was super friendly and brought us water refills, as well as topped off our slushees with delicious gummy bears. His service was above and beyond which we appreciated given our heat exhaustion. After seeing a dog there the first day, I brought my puppy with me the next day so she could bask in the cool AC as well. Miraculously, we all survived the heatwave and I credit part of our survival to Ridgewood :)

Yelp
Nice classic neighborhood brewery with outdoor seating. Good spot to sit outside and catch up with friends for a few beers. Good selection of beer, some wine and food next door.
google avatar

Carlos B.

Yelp
My friend and I were nearby to visit the Air Raid Tower leftover from the Cold War era, coincidentally also in their logo. I needed a beer to wash down my Red Mill Burger on this sunny Seattle afternoon. I landed on Holy Mountain Coconut Porter. I didn't regret it. Also purchased 2 pint glasses! Service was fantastic.

Yelp
An incredible vibe, great drink selection, amazing people who work here. Every neighborhood in America should have a local spot this wonderful!
google avatar

Ronnie P.

Yelp
Great spot! The staff is friendly, the vibe is welcoming & chill, the pours are cold & crisp, and they are next to a pretty reputable burger house to make a great pairing. Highly recommended!
google avatar

Yelp
Ridgewood is an awesome place to grab a drink. They have 40 beers on tap, alcohol slushies, and a huge fridge of canned beer to make your own to-go pack. They have a few indoor seating options (limited for covid), and a pretty decent outdoor dining area too. I was there on a Saturday and they had a DJ and some college baseball games on TV. Definitely an awesome place to sample some local beer or cool off with a frosé slushie. Even better, they allow you to bring whatever food and are right next door to Red Mill burgers.
google avatar

Chris L.

Yelp
This place continues to offer an extensive and continuously rotating tap list. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. Lots of local food in the area for you to bring in, including the adjacent building. Of this place was about 5 minutes closer of a drive I would be here a lot more.
google avatar

Melody M.

Yelp
Very friendly service, great family and pet friendly vibes, delicious slush frose and sours and they've even got cards to play games while you sit. Alex and Tanisha were awesome, even providing recommendations for restaurants and other sites to see while we're visiting
google avatar

Mikayla N.

Yelp
mangonada wasn't really for me and the hazy ipa was average but the vibes were good! we also got a burger and fries from next door and had an all around pleasant evening.
google avatar

Yelp
This iconic gem in the heart of the northern parts of Seattle has some of the best beer selection you'll find in town. Tucked away on the corner, you may pass right by this location without realizing. They feature some speciality drinks as well for non beer fans. Ample seating goes quickly here as the locals collect here quite frequently. Coverage and heaters exist, so you can enjoy a brew here year round even outdoors. Add to this they are a bottle shop ready to give you something to enjoy at home, and you get the full Seattle bottle shop experience. Personally, I prefer this Ridgetop not only for the location but the views. They are amazing.
google avatar

Kimberly H.

Yelp
I took a day trip up to Seattle to visit friends and was taken to this gem!! I'm so glad we went! I will definitely go back many times, and refer others there! I have no complaints! Such a great place! Fun atmosphere, amazing customer service, and outstanding beer selection. The beer slushees are bomb! A must try! The server/owner (Robin) was soooo knowledgeable about the beers, as I am not, which was so helpful! He was kind and great sense of humor. Go visit him! Such a fun place, great location, and as a perk, you can grab great food right next door and eat while sipping your drink! I highly recommend! I can't wait to go back!!
google avatar

Joe C.

Yelp
Super cool place in an even cooler neighborhood. The selection is crazy large service is amazing and they have surprisingly affordable and bad-ass merch. They don't have food, but even the worst athletes among us can throw a baseball into the window of three solid dining choices. Need an old favorite? They have it. Wanna explore? Tons of interesting stuff including hard kombucha. Definitely a solid choice.
google avatar

Bex B.

Yelp
Dog friendly, big patio with covered seating, close to food, great options. The neighborhood is lucky to have this option. Parking can be hard if you are meeting there but, the neighborhood is cute and pretty to walk through.
google avatar

Meagan V.

Yelp
This bar is a great spot if you are comfortable around other people, spaced out, and all outdoors. They have several options for seating but are usually at capacity on sunny days so be sure to know a table is available before you order! Dogs are welcome, and red mill next door is accepting online orders to pick up from their window. Great spot!
google avatar

Lauren R.

Yelp
I love this spot. Order online and pick up cans from local breweries. Great selection! Or stop by for a draft or one of there amazing slushees. I love the frosé but the also have rotating beer slushees that are fab too. In the summer piña colada IPA slush and in the fall a cranapple sour beer slush. Try 'em all! + with red mill burgers right next store you'll be set for a great evening!
google avatar

Ethan U.

Yelp
This place is very nice and cozy. The owners Stuart and Robin were very accommodating of my large group. The drinks are excellent and they even have board games! This is a great venue to host events and parties with friendly staff. We'll be back! :)
google avatar

Brian G.

Yelp
Ridgewood Bottle and Tap is my new favorite place. They have a tremendous selection of beverages and you can get draft beer to go in pint jars, 32 oz crowlers, or 64 oz growlers. Order online and they will be available within minutes for pickup. My only complaint is that the can top of the crowlers is difficult to pour from without spilling. My favorite, though, are the slushies. Rotating selection of beer, cider, and rose (frose) slushies are the perfect thing on a hot summer day. Grab a burger from red mill next door or some tacos from el chupacabra across the street and enjoy them with a cold beverage at Ridgewood's outdoor patio.
google avatar

Alexis S.

Yelp
My absolute favorite place to grab a beer in the Phinney area. Welcoming space, huge selection on tap and friendly staff.
google avatar

Nate B.

Yelp
LOVE this spot! From the owners to the employees, it's top to bottom one of the best new spots in Seattle. Robin, Tanisha, Danielle and the whole crew take such great care of everyone, pouring the perfect amount every time. A must do if you're in the hood.
google avatar

Oscar M.

Yelp
Great little spot but horrible customer service by the guy that works there on Monday's. I had no idea what to order and wanted to hear a suggestion or two and it seems that it bother him for some reason and everything went downhill from there. This was literally the first spot i took my parents from out of town to check out and it was very uncomfortable.
google avatar

B L.

Yelp
this is a really nice spot. great selection. tasteful. I've been twice now, and unlike the neighborhood bars I frequent, there is zero simpatico. Service is jaded and sterile. I've had friendlier interactions at Hudson News. Come by for a drink? ok. a regular haunt? never.

Tony M.

Yelp
Amazing spot!!! Great atmosphere and even better beer selection. Big collection of beers on draught, a ton in the fridge and very creative seasonal drinks. Such a massive fan!

Robert R.

Yelp
We love this place - have been frequenting since they opened last year. Always great taps, service and pours. Our last few visits, of 2 beers each, each time, a new employee short poured both our beers - we pay premium prices and don't mind for good beer, service and quality, but charge by the oz. if your going to give 12 oz for the price of 16 oz. When the owners are there you get a good pour. Maybe the new employee needs to be advised where the 16 oz. line is on the beer glass she is serving.
