"To give you an idea of the Alpine location of this restaurant framed by the Costabella mountain chain, suffice it to say that for centuries it was used for mountain pasture. There’s a breathtaking view of the Dolomites which extend into the distance as far as Pale di San Martino, while the menu here focuses on regional recipes such as canderli dumplings on a bed of cabbage, veal stew with polenta and chanterelle mushrooms, and polenta gnocchetti with herb pesto, smoked ricotta and lemon thyme. The wine cellar is home to more than 600 labels, plus accommodation is available in a choice of tranquil guestrooms." - Michelin Inspector

We stayed at this beautiful Rifugio after a long day of hiking on our honeymoon. What an absolute treat! The room is spectacular with a king sized bed (a rarity in Italy) overlooking the spectacular mountains. We had a jacuzzi in the room that helped with our sore feet. The Rifugio is very stylish, covered in art, highlighting the traditional decor in a modern way. You can lounge on the grass by the mountains, on a lounger by the stream or frolick with the cows. Everything is done for your relaxation. I could not finish this review without complimenting the food which was too notch. My only criticisms were the portions were so generous and I could not get to the beautiful dessert.

Amazing stay and location. A very packed place to be on a nice day. Quieted down once the afternoon rain arrived. Dinner and breakfast were both amazing. Hope you enjoy this place as much as we did.

We hiked for 9 hours before arriving at Rifugio Fiuciade to the best dinner of our entire time in Italy to date. A friend who arrived before us described it as paradise and he was right. The views were stunning, food sublime and the service exceptional. Steak was so good. Desserts are a must. And ultimately it had the warmth of famiglia. We really appreciated that Roberto went above and beyond, and took the initiative to care for us 3 Asian hikers when he was not obliged to. He also knew we would like all the food to arrive at one go (in Asian style) and offered us chopsticks! He was really kind. Wish we had booked a room to stay in advance!

Just a quick stop for lunch. Views are stunning, the place quite busy but food came quick and was really good! Perfect for a lunch mid-hike.

We had the pleasure of dining at this beautiful refugio in the heart of the Dolomites, and the experience was nothing short of unforgettable. Surrounded by breathtaking mountain views, we were welcomed into a warm and inviting atmosphere that instantly made us feel at home. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and professional — always smiling and genuinely caring. Their hospitality truly elevated the entire evening. The food was exceptional — fresh, locally sourced, and prepared with great care. Every dish was perfectly balanced, showcasing the rich culinary traditions of the region with a touch of modern creativity. If you're looking for an authentic dining experience in the Dolomites, with outstanding service, delicious food, and a spectacular alpine setting, this refugio is an absolute must-visit!

One of the best meals I’ve had in the Dolomites in a beautiful setting - we came for dinner and had an amuse bouche (a beignet with cheese and berry jam), the tomino cheese appetiser, the polenta gnocchi, the orzotto with porcini mushrooms, the frozen vanilla with berries and the orange mousse with carrot cake. Each dish was sublime, rich with flavour and so beautifully plated. The service is excellent and the staff is very friendly. The location is beautiful, surrounded by the mountains. Highly recommend and hope to be back again! Came back a year later and it was just as fantastic - loved the mushroom and truffle risotto, the potato spaghetti with fondue and truffle, the orzotto with tomato salmerino and pesto, the tiramisu and the kaiserschmarrn. Service was top and the wines delicious. Hope to be back again!

A beautiful walking path that leads from San Pellegrino to this place for about 3 km. The place and the mountains arround are fantastic!

Amazing and unique food, a little pricy but the value for money is high.

Yelp
After a full day of skiing, it is an amazing experience to arrive at this spectacular Rifugio (similar to a B&B) located in the Dolomites. The only way to get here is by a snowcat that picks you up at the lower part of the mountain and slowly takes you for a 5 minute drive to the Rifugio. The other option is a 30-40 min hike from the nearest town. The family run establishment has a 4 star restaurant, bakery, wine cellar and luxurious overnight rooms. Our beautiful room had a private balcony and a private sauna with a view of the mountains. Our bathroom was like a mini spa! We had dinner and breakfast in the dining room. I can hardly describe the decadence of homemade pasta, cheeses with fresh bread, wines from local wineries and desserts made in house. The highlight of the breakfast was the homemade pastries. Everything was amazing.
