"A cider-focused spot where visitors can sample a range of ciders in a relaxed setting, complementing the area's restaurant mix." - Aimee Levitt

"Husband-and-wife Charlie Davis and Katie Morgan are the engine behind one of Chicago’s only cideries, Right Bee Cider. The company’s beverages are available in stores and bars around town and also straight from the source at a 48-seat taproom in Hermosa. Customers will find pours of Right Bee Cider’s flagship ciders along with rotating specials and kegged cocktails. Food can be brought in or ordered from neighboring restaurant Rice Arepa." - Jeffy Mai

"Chicago’s first cider taproom, Right Bee Cider, released a new flavor called 'Muzzle of Bees', made with honey and elderflower, with a label designed by the band Wilco." - Daniel Gerzina

"Opening its taproom on a Thursday, this Hermosa cidery run by founders Charlie Davis and Katie Morgan occupies a cozy, DIY 50-person space where Davis built the 10 tables, shelving, and menu board. An L-shaped bar with seven stools and eight taps (six dedicated to cider) showcases a flagship trio — dri, semi-dry, and blossom — offered in three sizes; flights aren't on the menu but customers can assemble their own samples, while three rotating drafts highlight seasonals like a Logan Square blueberry plus lime and melon. Draft cider cocktails, firkin-infused specials, and experiments aging ciders in Koval barrels are planned, and a taproom-only rosé is also poured at the Game Room in the Chicago Athletic Association Hotel. Food is available from nearby Rica Arepa or via 2nd Kitchen QR delivery (guests may bring their own), guest bottled beers currently include Metropolitan and Alarmist, and retail offerings include six-packs, cider vinegars, and branded glassware. The dog- and child-friendly space will feature a photo wall (possibly with a Polaroid), offers wifi, and aims to be a comfy mom-and-pop neighborhood hangout; inaugural hours are Thu 4–10 p.m. and Fri–Sun 4 p.m.–midnight." - Ashok Selvam

"Expanding as the city’s first cidery, Right Bee will add a 50-seat taproom with six taps and a full bar, allowing owners Charlie Davis and Katie Morgan to sell bottles and growlers to go; food won’t be served on-site but guests will be able to bring their own." - Jeffy Mai
