Great quality ingredients and portions of authentic Mexican food and convenient drive thru that is right off the main drag! I had the beef burrito/ enchilada plate and had plenty fo later!

I ordered the #20 Special, 4 Tacos Tijuana, and tasted raw meat when I was eating the last taco. I called to let the restaurant know and requested that they make sure to cook their meat fully. They didn't say anything and hung up on me lol. Last time I'll ever go here since they obviously don't care about food poisoning concerns.

Where else are you gonna find 24-hour Mexican food? My friend swears by the carne asada fries– he'd choose it as his last meal in this mortal realm if he could. They also have the BEST horchata.

Inconsistent Service Great Food, But the Waits and Attitude Need Work My experiences at this Rigoberto on McLoughlin have been very hit-or-miss. Roughly 50/50 good and bad. Unfortunately, my two most recent visits have been among the worst, so I'm sharing this in hopes the management and staff take steps to improve. The biggest ongoing issue is the handling of online orders. Customers frequently face excessively long wait times before receiving any attention at all. When staff finally do acknowledge you, the service often feels rude and dismissive, as though you're interrupting their day rather than being a paying customer. It would make a huge difference to have at least one dedicated team member focused on promptly and courteously handling pickup and online orders in the sequence they were received. If this system is already set up, the staff member in charge is somehow not found or helpful. I recently read another review suggesting possible discrimination as the cause of long waits. As someone of Hispanic descent, I can confirm I've experienced the exact same prolonged delays and unfriendly treatment. This suggests the issue may stem from inconsistent prioritization or staff attitude rather than targeting specific groups—it feels like staff decide their preferences on any given day. A typical experience: I place an online order and wait 20–30 minutes before heading over. Upon arrival, there's no welcoming greeting or helpful acknowledgment. Then I wait another 20–30 minutes (or longer) while in-lobby customers, drive-thru orders, and seemingly everyone else gets served first—online pickups appear to be last priority. The good: - Excellent variety at the salsa bar - Generous portions and solid combo/menu options - Reliable availability, especially with 24-hour operations—very convenient The bad: - Chronically long wait times (especially for online orders) - Rude or indifferent customer service - Poor order prioritization that leaves pickup customers waiting unnecessarily Recommendation: If fulfilling online orders is such a burden for the staff, consider discontinuing the service entirely rather than providing consistently slow and unfriendly experiences. Customers shouldn't arrive excited for their food only to be met with long delays and unwelcoming attitudes. Food is good enough to keep me coming back occasionally, but the service issues are starting to outweigh the convenience. Hoping things improve soon.

Simple solid food. Authentic Mexican fast food. A single burrito is a full meal. They have a wide variety of dishes. I have never waited long (except a lunch rush in the drive through) and food is made AFTER you order it!

Well if the lines tell you anything people love this food. Constantly busy and the nicest people both in the drive through and the restaurant. Ample indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor seating can be a bit loud as it is right on HWY 99. Huge portions, great food. Horchata was fabulous. It is located right next to a tire shop and across from Starbucks on Concord and HWY 99. If you love Mexican food, it’s a must stop.

We love the covered fries! "Polka asado fries. Crispy French fries, smothered with chicken, cheese, creama! There's usually enough chicken leftover to make into a couple of tacos! Breakfast burritos are fat and yummy! Hubby loves the veggie and I love the bacon! Get green sauce to go with them. The rolled tacos are taquitos fried up and covered with guacamole. Delish!! I like to get a side of rice too. My son loves the crispy tacos with beef- it's shredded steak. We do drive thru usually. Calling in doesn't really help- they don't make your order until you arrive- so you're almost better off skipping the call in. Line is long but worth it.

Amazing food! Definitely recommend the Zacatecano Burrito (chili rellano with beef) and the shrimp burrito. Service is always superb.

I had the most delicious chicken taco tonight here. We were stopping by while we were out and about. I needed a little bit of munchies to hold me over :) I ordered the chicken taco with lettuce, tomato, and sour cream. The chicken was so succulent and juicy. Thank you for the delicious late night snack!

OK, I'm going to talk about their chimichangas because that's all I have tried. This is the worst chimichanga I have ever had. After reading my review, google chimichanga images because this is how they are supposed to look. Chimichangas are supposed to be mostly flavorful meat. There's a variety of things that can be added, but in small quantities. What I got was a good 70% refried beans inside, & 30% chicken. The thing was so fat, it was still cool on the inside after the deep frying. Both beans and chicken were flavorless. Guac, sour cream, and just a sprinkle of cheese on top. You can tell they are trying to make it super cheap. I had to pour a ton of salsa on it just to make it edible. And by edible, I mean it sat like a rock in the bottom of my stomach for 8-9 hours. IDK, maybe it's a Portland thing. I have had such a hard time finding good Mexican food here.

Consistently good every time I get it. I order a lot of delivery from Rigoberto's and it travels well and tastes great. I've also eaten in a couple times, and the staff is friendly and the service is fast. They have a great little salsa bar and a huge menu of great food. Tons of vegetarian options, and the meat is great too. Highly recommend the Loco Fries.

Ordered on Grubhub. Probably the worst Mexican,if you want to call it that, food I've ever had. Cold cheese on top of chips is not nachos. And that is the worst tasting guacamole I've ever had, did you buy it from Safeway? Meat is cold,dry and tasteless. Tbh if you want better knock off mexican food then make it from home, trust me you'll probably make it better, or go to Taco Bell because this food was way worse than Chipotle or Taco Bell. Guess I'm lucky there's room in the garbage today.

This place is the wors. My family got really bad food poisoning even my pregnant friend and she had to go to the hospital. After 24 hours I made a complaint to the manager and he didn't care or wasn't understanding and told me to go to the hospital and he wouldn't let me get a refund. There was this customer threatening my under aged boyfriend to fight him because we made a complaint and beca we were upset. Never going there again

Ehh. Not the worst but the Green Chile Plate they have advertised looks exactly what came out of my asshole after eating here. Only ate half of my food before my insides started rumbling. Idk what meat they fed me, could have been roadkill from the main road for all I know. I didn't die, so 3 stars.

Terrible way to much salt ! Ate very little of it and threw it in the garbage disposal.never had take out food like that, mucho grande busura!

01/30/2022: 4.95 out of 5 - I've been coming to Rigoberto's since July 2010 when I moved up from San Diego, California. This place is far better than the Mexican eateries that are remotely related in terms of food in SoCal, where I was first introduced to this "Berto's" style of Mexican foods when I was stationed at Camp Pendleton. For years I trained, surfed, and grinded, so when it came to eating any of the "Berto's" was always the place to hit up because it was consistently good, inexpensive and they all were open 24 hours. Fast forward to Rigoberto's off McLaughlin here in Milwaukee, Oregon (where I still train hard, work hard and play hard) and they do all that with consistency that is amazingly delicious! Rigoberto's, for me, is always a great "go to" at any time of the day, night or the much later after hours. Like I've always said before, try it once and decide for yourself. Enjoy!

It's really good. The hot sauce bar should taste them all the peppers to green onions, the caramelized, sweet onions, the enchiladas, juicy flavorful.

Love this place! Burritos are what I usually have here. Don't forget the condiments of roasted peppers and escabeche!

I tried Rigobertos on a recommendation from a coworker, the food was good, I really enjoyed the grilled Chilies and salsa bar, I had. A carne asada burrito and a bean and cheese burrito, I was full after one and had to eat the bean and cheese later. Good Mexican food and nice folks working there.

Usually get the shredded chicken or shredded beef taco salad. Otherwise I get the fish tacos. Love both. Taco salad is big enough to split if not a huge eater.

After driving by this location and seeing a line of cars into the street, we figured we'd give this spot a try! Well, we ordered it online to be delivered and that went well. The driver respected our instructions and it was delivered on time. Everything else was a bit of a mixed bag. On the plus side: the breakfast Chorizo burrito was huge and delicious. The carne asada quesadilla was also tasty! The middle: My carne asada burrito filling was good, but unfortunately the tortilla was either old/stale or it had been cooked in the microwave. It was almost impossible to chew though the places where it overlapped. The chips with cheese were decent, but the cheese wasn't fully melted at all so we had to melt it in the microwave and then the chips got a weird texture, too. The truly disappointing: we ordered cheese enchiladas and ended up getting chicken enchiladas. The worst part about that is the person who ordered them doesn't eat chicken, so that was a wasted plate. Well, someone else decided to eat them, but took two bites and the chicken was so fatty, they decided to pass on it, too. So not only was it wrong, but it was gross. We also got an order of chips and salsa, and the salsa (pico de gallo) was on top of the chips, so by the time they got here the chips were soaked though. Ew. The thing is, I would give this place another chance! Mostly because some of the food was actually good. But I'd only try it if I went to the restaurant, because you can't make special requests (like asking for the salsa on the side) when you order online (at least via GrubHub). That way, if we got chicken enchiladas when we ordered cheese, we could have them remade and actually have a meal to eat, etc. If I do try it again, I'll update my review. Until then, I think 3 stars is pretty accurate.

One of my favorite eating spots but not anymore. I ordered the number two 2 beef taco combos and received the number seven 2 beef burrito combo meal. when I asked the waitress to check the order she did not offer to correct the order and insisted it had the same ingredients. since no offer was extended to correct the order I had no choice to take it home. I found it was not the same ingredients and not something I wanted to eat. $11.50 straight in the trash. good thing tomorrow is trash pick up day. It will be a long time until I return to this place again.

Food nicely prepared and presented, flavor good as well ! My issue is with the extremely HIGH prices!! Due to cost I will not return. I usually purchase a to go box with 6 Rolled Tacos at my favorite place, for $6 This Business gave me 3 and Charged me $16 !! I assumed it must be for a complete meal with Rice and Beans, however when it came it had neither! only 3 rolled tacos!! I paid $10 more and got 1/2 as much food!! My friend asked me to bring a Cheese and Bean Burrito, NO meat, I was charged $9!! Who can afford to eat here???

Any of it honestly. Breakfast burritos are my favorite. Fantastic staff always really sweet n speedy.

The best Mexican food in Oregon I love this place. Order the Oregon burrito. The service was excellent. They sheltered me in a snow storm. They saved my life.

Got home late from a trip and was looking for some late night Mexican food and stumbled upon this spot on Yelp. Luckily I got there right before a line formed behind me. Tried the beef rolled tacos, steak plate, pastor tacos, and carne asada taco plate. I was expecting the tacos to be street food sized and they were actually pretty big and filled with lots of meat. I was impressed with the rolled tacos - even though they were topped with cheese and avocado they were still crispy when I got home. And so so good dipped in their habanero sauce. I would alone come back for that. I enjoyed my carne asada tacos as well. They came with pico and guac. Their habanero sauce was so good and spicy. So excited to have discovered a late night spot that isn't a chain! Will be back for those rolled tacos!!!!

This is authentic Mexican food. I especially love their breakfast burritos, taco salad, enchiladas, and the chicken Oregon Burrito [not on the menu, but they will make it on request]. My husband likes their tamales. If you go inside you can choose from pickled carrots, onions, and jalapenos, and multiple kinds of salsa. These folks provided reliable drive-through service and consistent food quality throughout the pandemic. Very affordable prices, and those burritos are enough food for two meals!

The best in the Milwaukie/Oregon City area! Huge portions, very good price. Quality food. We don't go anywhere else for Mexican.

You know the place, It was something, then something else, on down the line till wa la it is Rigoberto's. Well I've driven by this place plenty all times of the day and never gave it much thought. But driving by late at night and early in the am and seeing the cars come in and out I decided I needed to check it out. I was surprised and pleasantly so. It's a hole in the wall for sure, but the food we've gotten has been good. The burritos huge and filling. It's a long ways from home, but when I'm out Gladstone way I'll be stopping back in when the urge for good Mexican food hits.

I heard a surprising experience from a person who frequents Rigoberto's often. She shared how the person at the drive thru (appears new) refused and yelled when asked for 3 of the green sauces for her burrito. A request that in the paste has always been honored with a smile. I also hear that if it happens to you, just walk inside and grab a few extra.

Way OVERPRICED The food is mid but you expect that which is why the place did well with low prices, But not for the prices they have now. Definitely not worth it. With those prices you should just go to an actual restaurant. Their horchata is watery. The customer service is less than mid. But they have great green sauce.

I order delivery from Doordash. I know the food will never come fresh even more when is tacos , we order some combination . Enchilada and Chile relleno else 4 beef tacos . Everything was cold the worst thing is that didn't taste good . Bad taste They forgot to add sauce for the tacos . Bad experience. I will never order for this place again.

The food is excellent. We always get to go, because there really is not any ambience at all. We like the's, the zatacano-i'm sure I'm spelling that wrong- burrito. which is Carne Asada and Chile Rellano burrito. And we love the beans and rice. There is a small seating area inside it's in an old Taco Bell, and there is some outdoor seating with umbrellas. My nephew in law loves their breakfast burritos.

I was the only car in line when I arrived today before 9 a.m. and ordered a sausage breakfast burrito. The person confirmed the order and I drove to the window. No one was there to take my money or even say hello despite waving to two people inside...neither of whom acknowledged my presence...I waited and still no one came forward with my order...or ask why I was waving at them... They saw me...I saw them .. so, I left and drove across the street to McDonald's for my breakfast... horrible service...can't judge the food. There are too many Mexican fast food places nearby so why go back for more poor service?

The BEST burrito I've ever had- Seriously- SO good. The Mar y Tierra burrito is to dye for. This is my favorite Mexican restaurant. You won't be disappointed.

Drove through for a quick order of taquitos. They call them rolled tacos. We have been there before and enjoyed the food. Pre-COVID and went to the counter and not the drive through. Maybe they are hurting cause they seem to be run down. The drive through was pretty rough. Still the food was good but not great today. Nothing that would drive me to rush back. The server at the window was nice

We ordered various burritos including a carne asada. The meat was so disgusting I threw it in the trash after a few bites. We also ordered a side of guacamole which was some sort of green liquid. Horrifying.

Steer clear of this place. Aside from their huevos rancheros...OMG it's so gross. We've ordered quite a few things here over the years and it's always a slight hit or miss. Recent order of some burritos left us probably not being able to eat Mexican food for awhile. The topper was the guacamole that could have doubled as baby diarrhea. It left me humming the song...."When you're sliding into home and your pants are full of foam, diarrhea, diarrhea." Better get a side of Pepto if you're gonna brave this place.

Literally so disappointed. Only been there twice and both times they got my order wrong. I ordered street tacos and got these soggy hard tacos. The Togo box was full of This time I ordered rolled tacos - comes with Guacamole and cheese. I asked for no cheese. They put cheese on it and didn't put the guacamole on... he even repeated the order to me when I placed it in the drive through.

Gross! Most disgusting Mexican I have EVER eaten! Guacamole was the WORST EVER!!!! It was like a bland avocado soup with mayonnaise! I couldn't even eat it. The Vegetarian burrito was pathetic, tasteless, without any filling and gross. The Bean and cheese burrito was okay, but nothing like other bean and cheese burritos at better places. I requested lime wedges. Didn't get them. I requested salsa verde. I got no salsas at all, which would have helped to kill the awful taste of the substandard food. The absolute damning factor was the use of polysyrofoam packageing. WHOEVER USES THIS IS A FOOL WHO NOT ONLY DOES NOT CARE ABOUT QUALITY, BUT CARES NOTHING FOR OUR ENVIRONMENT EITHER!!!! YOU CAN'T RECYCLE THIS!!!!! SUBSTANDARD GROSS IDIOTS! Are there also cockroaches in their kitchen???

After eating a burrito there, one night me and my friend got terrible food poisoning. They were flies when we walked in I should've known.

Their beef looks like dog food and it doesn't taste much different. So they pump out dog food and respect their customers about the same. Terrible customer service. Strongly not recommended. And good luck getting your order through delivery.

I would've given 4 stars but going through the drive through is super slow. Food and service is good. Mar Tierra Fries are awesome!

Chile relleno burrito is bomb. I like this place its actually good. Don't listen to the reviews who say they ordered off grubhub, how crazy to expect the food to even be warm by the time it arrives. Of course cold food is not good

This review is for the drive-thru as I've never dined inside. Just about every time we order tacos at the drive-thru, they get our order wrong. I asked for no onion on two of my tacos and two regular style. They put all four of our tacos in the same to go box, one Carne Asada taco had guacamole as usual, and the other one had a tiny scoop of onion on it. They threw my tacos in and got onion all over the no onion tacos as well. How hard is it to make a taco with no onion and then a tiny scoop of onion on one that is supposed to have no onion just to rub it in my face. they can never get our order right, charge a premium amount for food and then have the audacity to ask for a tip in a drive thru. GTFOH! I gave a two star review because the food actually does taste decent. If you don't like working in the service industry or like people in general, get a job that you don't have to directly interact with the public please. There's way better Mexican food out there and employees that can get an order right. Go somewhere else.

Rigoberto's is right down the street and has been there for years and years, but I've never gone until tonight. It has good reviews on Yelp, and I've seen people on my social media go there before. Walking in, it was pretty small and kind of cramped. The drive thru line was looped around the building and there were people eating inside, so that's always a good sign. We ordered a carne asada burrito and the enchilada platter. When I bit into the burrito, I was surprised with how juicy the meat was. Usually I don't expect much because I know carne asada can get tough. The burrito was bursting out the sides with rice, beans, meat, and pico. I added salsa and the grilled onions on top, and it was great. The chicken enchiladas were good too - the shredded chicken was not dry, and it was pretty tasty. The platter came with a huge side of rice and beans, topped with lettuce. All in all, solid place for Mexican food - will be back.

The food is ok sometimes it smells like the wet rag from the kitchen they use I had gotten sick from them once and the people working the window in the drive through are rude and don't listen to your order and if you correct them they get upset I rather go to chipotle honestly I only give it a one star because I have to in order to post

I've been coming here for years and let me tell you that they're doing better than ever. Aside from all of the updates they've made to the restaurant over the years, their employees work hard as hell. I've you've never been inside, I recommend you make your way in because you'll see how much these people really care. Their food is always dynamite and this will always be my first recommendation as somewhere to eat.

The food is great, reasonably priced and it's open 24 hours. We went there at 12:30 am and it was crowded, but we still got our food quickly. Their guacamole salsa is the best

Bomb asffffff! Cheap, tasty and generous portions! We tried the shrimp burrito, california burrito and asada fries. Would order them all again! My only complaint was that the piña agua fresca was sweet with no tang, but the horchata was delicious. If you're ordering on postmates, you can add the drinks into the custom item spit and they'll order it for uuuu

The 4 stars is for the tripa tacos. You have the option to order it crunchy or soft. I ordered the crunchy and it was boooomb diggity. So good we debated over who got the last one. The pastor tacos was very flavorful where the lengua lacked it. Maybe if we ate the lengua first the other flavors wouldn't have overpowered it. The prices for tacos are a bit higher here but I noticed they are larger portions compared to taco carts. Other items ordered were chicken quesadilla and shrimp burrito. These items were as described. I liked that the sides of carrots and radishes looked fresh. Also avail to self serve are buttery onions and jalapeños. My only hang up is that I called in my order and when I came to pick up I was met with blank faces. The only explanation was that the ticket must've fell and got lost. So I had to recall the order, sit and wait. Totally bummed since I took the time to call ahead and was on a time crunch. Maybe a bit more empathy for mix up on their side would suffice. Anywho. I would come back for the crunchy tripa tacos but only if I had more time and not a bunch of hungry peeps waiting. Bonus is that are open 24 hours.
